The paper describes experimental research and the results of these studies carried out in various bays of the Primorsky Territory of Russia using a supersensitive detector of hydrosphere pressure variations and a sound velocity profiler with pressure and temperature sensors. In all experiments, instruments, rigidly fixed to each other, were placed on the bottom at a depth of up to 10 m. Comparison of in-situ data from these instruments allowed us to experimentally calculate the coefficient of data conversion of the supersensitive detector of hydrosphere pressure variations when registering sea waves with periods ranging from several seconds to tens of minutes. A new type of detector of ionizing particles and radiations is described. The sensitive region of the detector, which is an array of bipolar transistors, is the collectors of these transistors, in which the primary signal of an ionizing particle is also preamplified. Using circuits of multiemitter transistors, it is very easy to branch the initial signal directly at the detector to several readout buses with equal signal levels in each bus. This possibility allows, in particular, the development of two-coordinate detectors with readout only on one side or detectors with an outputted readout triggering signal (self-triggering systems). Although automated testing instruments have been introduced intensely on the railways of Russia, up to 95% of hazardous flaws in rails are detected by ultrasonic two-line (removable) flaw detectors. The paper describes the functional diagram and basic functions of an ultrasonic detector of the new generation, AVIKON-01, with continuous recording of data. The instrument is supplied with the software package for analysis of testing results, and it has advantages of both hand-held removable flaw detectors and high-performance instruments for nondestructive testing of rails. In the last period (last 3 years) the maritime domain, especially the sea transportation and fossil resources exploitation became the most important aspects of the international politics and our lives. Because of the COVID19 situation and now the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the maritime domain was pushed to its limits. What a few years ago was a safety area of navigation, now this one can be transformed very quickly in a dangerous one. It is important to develop fast, systems for monitoring sea areas and platforms of intervention in case of distress situations. To have a real-time system of monitoring and intervention on sea it is mandatory to have redundant maritime communications. Novel long-range missiles, sensor technologies, and directed-energy weapons are rapidly disrupting the balance between offense and defense in modern warfare. It will probably become significantly more difficult to hide aircraft, ships, and vehicles on the battlefield as sensors improve and the cost premium for effective stealth increases. Hypersonic missiles threaten to make it more difficult to defend key assets using traditional means. However, sensor advances will aid both sides, and, if directed-energy weapons can be effectively developed and deployed, the trend could shift the other way, toward effective point defenses limited only by power and cooling.
