This paper aims to analyze the regulations related to protecting the architecture of the traditional house in Indonesia and the challenges in related regulations. To achieve these goals, the research uses a normative legal writing method with descriptive-analytical specifications. Firstly, the findings reveal that traditional houses are part of traditional cultural expressions (TCE). Indonesia protects architectural works and TCE in the same intellectual property regime, namely copyright. Therefore, this paper examines the protection of traditional house architecture from the perspective of Copyright law, the Law on the Advancement of Culture, and the TCE Bill. The abovementioned regulations state that the architecture is a protected object unless the TCE Bill is. Second, there are some challenges, such as 1) the priority of the TCE Bill after the change of president; 2) song and music get more benefit from copyright protection rather than the other objects in the copyright regime and no implementing regulation on architecture; and 3) the TCE data collection/inventory is still not optimal yet. Therefore, Indonesia needs to think more seriously about adequate and applicable legal protection for traditional house architecture and other TCEs. The central government should encourage regional governments and related parties to continue data collection and registration of various TCEs in each region to increase the number of registered TCEs. The central government should provide a target number of registered TCEs for the local government. If the target is met, the central government will give a reward so that the local government and related parties will be more enthusiastic about collecting data and registering the TCE with DJKI. This research is motivated by the need for the guarantee company to improve the management of the availability of information technology services to all company stakeholders in the guarantee company data center migration project. The guarantee company is currently collaborating with data center colocation service providers to support information technology infrastructure needs as a location for placing hyper-converged infrastructure servers. One of the objectives of this study is to provide recommendations to company management regarding improvements related to operational efficiency, increased scalability and capacity, reliability, increased availability, increased security factors, compliance with regulations, and the ability to increase data recovery in the event of a disaster by evaluating and maintained for enterprise data center migration plans. The Mantingan Mosque, the second oldest mosque after the Great Mosque of Demak is located in Mantingan Village, Tahunan District, Jepara Regency. It was built in 1481 Saka or 1559 AD by Sultan Hadlirin. This mosque is rich in white stone carvings that reflect the influence of Hindu, Buddhist, Chinese and Islamic culture. This paper investigates the implications and pragmatic power of the carved ornaments on the interior walls of the Mantingan Mosque. The study used observation and interview techniques as data collection methods. Data was collected through interactions with mosque administrators, visitors, traders and the community around the mosque. Contextual analysis was used to process the data. Findings show that the carved ornaments in the Mantingan Mosque did not merely have a role as aesthetic elements, but also had deep pragmatic power in social and religious contexts. These ornaments show how Hindu, Buddhist, Chinese and Islamic cultural elements did not only combine visually but also played a pragmatic role in supporting the functions of the mosque as a center of the community activities. This paper uses Individual Deprivation Measure data from Indonesia and South Africa to demonstrate the effects of coverage bias associated with mobile phone-based sampling and data collection approaches that restrict sampling frames to those who own or have access to a mobile phone – a increasingly common method. Analysis of this data demonstrates substantial differences across multiple living standards indicators and demographic characteristics between those who own a mobile phone, individuals with access to a phone and those who neither own nor access mobile phones. This paper highlights the implications of such sampling approaches, and calls for the explicit consideration of the limitations of inferences that can be drawn from qualitative and quantitative analyses because of these substantive differences. The productivity of lecturers' scientific work is an important factor in career advancement, quality of study programs, and university rankings. The research aimed to strengthen and optimize the productivity of lecturers' scientific work. The research method used is modeling and steering optimization (POP-SDM), data analysis using path analysis by looking for mathematical model equations. Scientific Identification Theory of Operation Research in Education Management (SITOREM) analysis is carried out to improve weak indicators and maintain strong indicators. The research was conducted on lecturers at private universities as many as 197 respondents. The qualitative research findings indicate that creativity, academic culture, knowledge management, and professional commitment were mentioned in the interviews. The results of quantitative research prove that creativity, academic culture, knowledge management, and professional commitment affect the productivity of lecturers' scientific work. Research finds novelty through the SITOREM approach, by conducting an analysis to identify indicators of the variables studied in order to determine indicators that are good enough to be maintained and indicators that are still weak and need to be improved. The SITOREM approach can be in the form of a model for developing scientific papers for lecturers as a model of behavior, constellation patterns, and guidelines for the productivity of scientific works produced by lecturers. The incident of the five-days and five-nights war, that took place in Palembang on 1-5 January 1947, was a struggle for the people of Palembang, South Sumatra, to maintain Indonesian independence from the Dutch who wanted to occupy the Palembang region. This has received criticism in history related to the struggle of the people of Palembang. They had put efforts not only to maintain the independence. but also to maintain the source power nature. The objective of this study is to analyze the events of five days and five nights of struggle to maintain Indonesian independence in 1945. This study uses the method history with technique data collection using heuristics, data verification, and techniques of data analysis using interpretation history and past historiography. Research results explain that the events of five days and five nights in Palembang which occurred in 1947 were battle among the people of Palembang, South Sumatra, who faced Dutch soldiers in the fierce war in the center of the city of Palembang. Point battles included fort Kuto Besak, Caritas, and the region’s old airport or area Tulung betutu. Background: This paper describes the methodological considerations of developing an urban Health and Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS), in the Sleman District of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Methods: 1) The Sleman District was selected because it is mostly an urban area. 2) The minimum sample size was calculated to measure infant mortality as the key variable and resulted in a sample of 4942 households. A two-stage cluster sampling procedure with probability proportionate to size was applied; first, 216 Censuses Blocks (CBs) were selected, and second, 25 households in each CB were selected. 3) A baseline survey was started in 2015, and collected data on demographic and economic characteristics and verbal autopsy (VA); the 2nd cycle collected updated demographic data, VA, type of morbidity (communicable and non-communicable diseases, disability and injury) and health access. 4) The data were collected at a home visit through a Computer-Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) on a tablet device, and the data were transferred to the server through the Internet. 5) The quality control consisted of spot-checks of 5% of interviews to control for adherence to the protocol, re-checks to ensure the validity of the interview, and computer-based data cleaning. 6) A utilization system was designed for policy-makers (government) and researchers. Results: In total, 5147 households participated in the baseline assessment in 2015, and 4996 households participated in the second cycle in 2016 (97.0% response rate). Conclusions: Development of an urban HDSS is possible and is beneficial in providing data complementary to the existing demographic and health information system at local, national and global levels. Dyslexia is often described as the most common learning disability among the students that affect their ability to read and write. Children with dyslexia persist to their reading difficulties into adolescence and adulthood if without effective intervention and instruction. Therefore, this paper aims to review on the current state of available interventions for children with dyslexia in Malaysia and compare the interventions conducted outside Malaysia instead of to identify the frequently used for assistive technology tools in improving literacy skills. A total of 30 articles published between 2009 and 2021 that met the inclusive criteria were downloaded from electronic databases such as Scopus, SpringerLink and ScienceDirect. The interventions were divided into two categories which are phonological-based and assistive technology-based. The findings indicated that most of the interventions are focused on assistive technology tools and mobile learning applications become the favorite choice in Malaysia to assist students with dyslexia in ameliorating their learning difficulties. However, the developed mobile learning applications are not focused on teaching phonics and combined all three language skills (reading, spelling, and writing) in an application. Hence, it is imperative that researchers in Malaysia take into account to develop more mobile learning applications that focus on English language phonics and encompass three language skills (reading, spelling and writing) in an application for students with dyslexia. This study aims to determine what is artificial intelligence (AI) and analyze several types of application of artificial intelligence as a learning medium in the era of society 5.0. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the literature to date on body dissatisfaction and suicide. A moderate and mediated regression analysis suggests that the relationship between these two variables is mediated by depression, anxiety, impulse control, self-esteem, and hopelessness. The relationship is not moderated by gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. The implications for mental health practitioners are discussed in relation to management strategies for body dissatisfaction and suicide risk. Another finding showed that psychological distress had a significant effect on performance achievement and served as a mediating variable for the effect of social justice on performance achievement. This study only focused on the effect of psychological distress on the performance achievement of human resources in the context of Islamic microfinance institutions. Besides, in explaining the model, this study only focused on one point of view of the grand theory, i.e., social exchange theory. This study provided information on alternative strategies in managing and minimizing the risks of psychological distress to improve performance achievement in Islamic microfinance institutions. Apart from that, this study also provided an overview of how to manage social exchange relationships in the context of an organization, so they could be well-maintained. This study examined the effect of psychological distress on the performance achievement of human resources in the context of Islamic microfinance institutions. This study also specifically examined the role of formal justice and social justice as an antecedent of psychological distress. Eventually, this study used the perspective of social exchange theory for the first time in explaining the psychological distress model on the performance achievement of human resources. This study aims to discover and analyze the meaning and application of greeting people in Indonesian. The information in this paper was derived from Kick Andy Talkshow episodes from the 2019 season. The theory used in this study is the theory of Indonesian pronouns and nouns, which was developed by Moeliono et al. (2017) refined by the theory from Sneddon et al. (1996). This study employs a qualitative method. This study's data is in videos, which can be found on the official Kick Andy YouTube channel. Data collection methods and techniques were carried out using non-participatory observation methods. In addition, the qualitative data analysis method was carried out using the theory of Indonesian pronouns and nouns. The results of data analysis are presented using a narrative approach that employs descriptive sentences. According to the analysis findings, presenters and resource persons use pronoun substitutes, namely nouns used to refer to self and the third person, as well as greeting the second person. The use of pronoun substitutes can help the presenter and sourcepersons establish intimacy. Establishing intimacy between the presenter and the resource person can create a fluid atmosphere that makes the sourcepersons feel more at ease. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper examines interview data from 20 young Muslim environmentalists in Indonesia. The data comes from a much broader research project on how people in Indonesia become environmentalists. The data for this extensive, multi-method Australian Research Council project undertaken between 2013 and 2017 was collected according to the overall aim of finding out how Indonesian people, in this instance, Indonesian youth, become environmentalists. There were specific research questions attached to the survey component of the larger project. However, there were no specific research questions as such guiding the ethnographic component of the data collection, to which the interviews here belong. Interviewees were simply asked to talk about their involvement in the environmental movement. The specific finding reported here is that these young activists based their environmentalism firmly on their Muslim faith. Their 'ecological habitus' seemed to be amplified by their 'sacred capital' as a form of symbolic capital. They actively engaged religious doxa that encourages them to see themselves as khalifah – God's lieutenants on earth; the need to take upon oneself the sacred task of stewardship of the natural world. Concerning the importance of collective partnership, to encourage a Safe and Balanced Way of Life, PKH Facilitators in Bone District, South Sulawesi, carry out the Clean Friday Campaign initiative as a collective partnership in enforcing a sanitation or cleaning program for the village by including all KPM PKH. This paper explains what the Clean Friday Campaign is, how PKH facilitators inspire KPM PKH The study site was situated in the Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province of the Cina District. Interviews and findings, and documentation were carried out as data collection procedures, which were then analyzed by Miles and Huberman using research theory. The study's findings show that every Friday morning, the Clean Friday Campaign is carried out every week towards public facilities guided by the collaboration of PKH Facilitators with village and sub-district governments to increase the self-awareness of KPM in ensuring a safe atmosphere for a safe and stable existence. Traditional Food Knowledge (TFK) is needed to define the acculturation of culture, society, and health in the context of food. TFK is essential for a human's cultural, economic, and health aspects. Variations of ethnicity, culture, and lifestyle affect the diversity of traditional Indonesian food. Recognition of food is needed to maintain the sustainability of traditional food. Nowadays, there are many food dataset collections, but there needs to be a dataset that specifically collects standard food datasets. Our main contributions to the TFK research field are professional food image data acquisition, innovative development of an automatic, scalable food recognition system, and multi-process inference service. There are 34 variations of traditional foods from all regions in Indonesia that were acquired in this dataset. The dataset comprises 1644 high-quality images captured by professional cameras and 1020 by a smartphone. Several deep learning models are implemented in food recognition systems. This system can accommodate the addition and reduction of food variations in the knowledge recognition system and is capable of multiple concurrent requests at a time. The current prototype incorporates traditional types of food from Indonesia. However, the food model can also be expanded to other countries traditional foods. The automatic recognition systems are evaluated using several deep-learning network models. The experiment results have shown that the AUROC score is 0.99, and the request success rate can be improved by 70% with a multiprocess inference service. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper aims to analyze the perception of involved actors toward collaboration and investigate conditions that motivate actors to collaborate in delivering public services. This study uses pragmatic philosophy that utilizes qualitative data collection. Despite the government as the leading service provider, non-state actors' involved in planning, organizing, and evaluating service delivery. By conducting a focus group discussion, providing an open question survey, and analyzing relevant news, this research emphasizes that public service providers and communities involved in public service delivery perceived collaboration as working with others or cooperating and achieving common goals. The actors’ belief that achieving common goals is the driver to collaboration. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate how socio-religious dynamics influence (and are influenced by) principals in Islamic schools. Design/methodology/approach: This qualitative case study took place in Semarang, Indonesia. Data were collected via semi-structured interviews with school leaders along with school site observations. To frame the study, we drew from both Indonesian and international scholarship to understand extant perspectives on the context and on the ways that principals influence socio-religious thinking and practices in schools. Findings: Findings suggested that principals' personal experiences and beliefs are central to the ways that socio-religious thinking and practices are manifest in their school. Principals practice more progressive or conservative leadership by influencing the degree to which the school is (a) an open or closed system, (b) inclusive or exclusive in their practices and (c) plural or unitary in their teaching. In making decisions along each of these continua, principals in Islamic schools "curate" a socio-religious educational environment. Originality/value: This paper contributes to the literature on principals and socio-religious dynamics in schools by discovering specific continua of practice that collectively suggest a more conservative or progressive interpretation of Islam. As this area is understudied in educational leadership, the study makes a foundational empirical contribution, suggests theoretical constructs heretofore unexplored, and advances the notion of principal as curator of educational practice. Purpose: Building on the resource-based view (RBV) perspective of common resources, the objective of this paper is to empirically examine the impact of container terminals' common resources (i.e. government support and terminal resources) on resource bundling strategies and subsequent effect on service performance. Design/methodology/approach: Using cross-sectional survey data collected from a sample of 216 respondents of Indonesia's container terminals, this study used structural equation modeling (SEM) to test the hypothesised relationships between common resources, resource bundling strategies and service performance. Findings: Government support and terminal resources (personnel and physical), both as sources of common resources when bundled effectively, are found to have positive and significant effect on terminal service performance. The resource bundling strategies fully mediate the relationship between container terminals' common resources and service performance. Practical implications: The study introduces the notion of common resources to container terminal managers in contrast to the valuable, rare, inimitable and non-substitutable (VRIN) types. It is recommended that appropriate resource bundling strategies can turn the common resources into VRIN resources that can be used to obtain desired service performance. Originality/value: RBV theorists suggest that resources that are VRIN types can be the source of competitive advantage. However, the resources can also be common, basic and valuable, a fact that is rarely investigated in the literature. These common resources can be bundled judiciously with other pre-existing resources to create VRIN resources. This paper considers reasons why the number of scientific publications produced in Indonesia remain low in comparison to other countries, as is the number of scientific researchers. These issues are caused by many factors, including the fact that researchers often experience difficulties in obtaining references to both books and journals that support their research, and secondly that researchers find it difficult to find research partners who have scientific similarities and interests in one research topic. The purpose of this study is to answer the above problems through the design and development of an application called thinkgather.com, an interactive medium for researchers. One of the advantages of this application is being able to connect between one researcher and another researcher in one social media. This research was designed to have 3 stages of research, namely the preliminary study and data collection stage, the planning and building stage, the limited scale trial stage. It is expected that the thinkgather.com application can become a means of researchers as a media discussion and facilitate researchers in finding partners in the research that will be carried out. Indonesia requires a maritime surveillance system that's capable to monitor its extensive waters territorial. One of the maritime standard navigation systems named AIS (Automatic Identification System), which is based on GPS and VHF digital communication, have enabled the ship monitoring in a real-time. By placing AIS receiver on the satellite, its coverage will be larger compared to the one usually placed on the seashore by maritime authority. Orbiting the AIS receiver prompted appearing the limitation of Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) technology so the probability of ship detection would decrease drastically due to a huge number of heard ship signal simultaneously. This paper describes the design of satellite constellation for Indonesian maritime surveillance based on the result of the AIS data acquisition by LAPAN-A2 and LAPAN-A3 satellites that operate in both equatorial and polar orbit. This paper addresses the question of legitimacy in REDD+ governance in Indonesia. It develops a legitimacy framework that builds on elements of Scharpf (J Eur Pub Policy 4(1):18-36, 1997) input and output legitimacy concept and the political economy lens described by Brockhaus and Angelsen (Analysing REDD+: Challenges and choices, CIFOR, Bogor, 2012). Using data collected through key informant interviews and focus groups, we identify and explore stakeholder perceptions of legitimacy. The analysis reveals a complex interplay between input and output legitimacy, finding that state, non-state and hybrid actors perceive output legitimacy (i.e. project outcomes) as highly dependent on the level of input legitimacy achieved during the governance process. Non-state actors perceive proxies for input legitimacy, such as participation and inclusion of local people, as goals in themselves. In the main, they perceive inclusion to be integral to the empowerment of local people. They perceive output legitimacy as less important because of the intangibility of REDD+ outcomes at this stage in the process. Cognitive style is related to information processing and individual preferences for engaging in the learning process. Therefore, it is crucial to consider the role of cognitive styles - field dependent (FD) and field independent (FI) - as a foundation for implementing a specific learning model in the classroom. This study aims to examining the significant role of cognitive styles, specifically FD and FI, in the context of implementing Project-based Learning (PjBL) for Prospective Physics Teachers (PPT) in generating learning media. The research employed a quantitative approach utilizing an experimental design known as the one-group pretest-posttest design. The study focused on a sample of 40 PPTs from a university located in Mataram City, Indonesia. The two main instruments used in data collection for this research were the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) and the student creativity observation sheet, where the results of both were analyzed descriptively and statistically. The results of the study indicated that the creativity of PPT improves for all cognitive styles after the intervention of the PjBL model. However, the extent of creativity improvement differs for each cognitive style, FD and FI. The PPTs who possess a cognitive style characterized as FD tend to exhibit a more pronounced enhancement in creativity when compared to those who possess an FI cognitive style. The most fundamental finding of the study is that the PjBL model is more suitable for implementation among PPTs with an FD cognitive style in the context of enhancing creativity in generating learning media. The focus of recent studies has been on sustainable tourism development, which is considered a crucial factor for economic growth. The current study investigates the effects of community participation, government support, and private sector involvement on the development of sustainable tourism in Indonesia. The study also explores the impact of collaborative governance on the relationship between community participation, government support, private sector involvement, and sustainable tourism development in Indonesia. The study collected data from tourists by conducting surveys at popular tourist destinations in Indonesia. The article also used smart-PLS to investigate the connections between variables. The findings demonstrated a positive correlation between sustainable tourism development in Indonesia and community participation, government support, and private sector involvement. The results also indicate that collaborative governance plays a significant role in moderating the relationship between community participation, government support, private sector involvement, and sustainable tourism development in Indonesia. The study offers valuable insights for policymakers to develop policies that promote sustainable tourism. Purpose - This research tries to fill a gap in research and to suggest a rigorous quantitative approach to benchmarking marketing productivity. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is useful in identifying the best-performing units to be benchmarked against as well as in providing actionable measures for improvement of a company's marketing performance. Design/methodology/approach - This study applied the DEA approach to aid traditional benchmarking activities and to provide guidance to managers, and to evaluate the productivity and efficiency of manufacturing firms listed at the Indonesian Stock Exchange as a result of their marketing activities. The time period observed is 2001-2007. The total number of manufacturing firms observed is 94. Findings - The evidence shows that on average, this industry experienced total productivity decline by over the observation periods, mainly due to deterioration of managerial efficiency. Iksan Skuter is a musician who likes to voice songs with the theme of social criticism. In this paper, the writer focuses on one song by Iksan Skuter, namely the song titled Bingung. The song Bingung contains a social critique of contradictions that have always been a concern of the people in Indonesia. The reason why the writer made the song Bingung by Iksan Skuter the focus of the research is that according to the writer this song has simplicity in the form of music, has a series of melodies that are easy to remember, has straightforward lyrics, and this song is quite in demand by the public, this can be seen from the following: the number of individuals and groups who re-sung this song. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a content analysis approach. Data collection techniques include: observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the song Bingung consisted of three parts, namely part A, part B, and part C with sentence structures or musical phrases part A (a, x), B (b, b1) and C (c, z). The data collection method used in-depth semi-structured and unstructured interviews of both key informants and non-planning members in each identified bank. Three banks were selected because of their commitment in strategic planning and their high-performance status. This study used research information from a panel of experts to first define a bank as high performing in the first instance, and then to select the three top performing banks for the study.Findings This study has provided useful findings about the strategic planning practices in the high-performing banks. The key findings comprise the fact that all three banks in this study have carried out the usual and main strategic planning activities presented in this study: the vital role of the CEO in strategic planning has been proven, and planning flexibility in the strategic planning process has been identified, among other related findings.Originality/value This study provides a useful research model for investigating strategic planning practices both in the relatively stable and predictable business environment and turbulent and unpredictable business environment. This paper presents how to characterize the quality of multimedia which consists of audio and video that are transmitted in real-time communication through the Internet with limited bandwidth. We developed a methodology of characterizing the multimedia Quality-of-Service (QoS) by measuring network parameters (i.e., bandwidth capacity, packet loss rate (PLR), and end-to-end delay) of testbed network and simulating the audio-video delivery according to the measured network parameters. The analysis of network parameters was aimed to describe the network characteristics. Multimedia QoS was characterized by conducting a simulation using data which was collected from the previous network characterization. A simulation network model was built using OMNet++ representing a delivery of audio-video in real-time while a background traffic was generated to represent a real condition of the network. Apllying the methodology in a network testbed in Indonesia's rural area, the simulation results showed that audio-video could be delivered with accepted level of user satisfaction. In the context of REDD+, Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) is one way to manage forest change information. A national carbon and non-carbon database will be used in REDD+ to negotiate compensation schemes with the international community. Much of this data will be collected at the local level, thus a reporting system that can integrate these locally collected data into the national database is crucial. In this paper we compare and draw lessons from three existing local to national reporting systems that include the participation of local communities: 1) the government extension services, 2) the government owned forestry company, and 3) a private logging company in Indonesia, and provide recommendations for REDD+ reporting systems. The results suggest that the main desired conditions for effective data flow are: benefits to motivate local participation, based on contributions to reporting activities; simple data format and reporting procedures to allow local participation in the reporting process, and to support data aggregation at the national level; a facilitator to mediate data aggregation at the village level to ensure data consistency, completeness and accuracy; and a transparent and clear data flow. Under these conditions, continuous, accountable and consistent data flow from the local level will reach the national level where it can be fully utilized. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The development of technology has had a very significant impact on many aspects of human life, including the religious one. Regarding the effects, how should the Church carry out its tasks and calling in the middle of the rapidly advancing technology in Indonesia? This research applied the descriptive-qualitative method, emphasizing inductive reasoning, in which the researcher tried to develop a hypothesis from observations. The data collection was done with a bibliographical study by taking references from relevant books, academic journals, and online articles. The research suggests the Church should avoid viewing the world's reality and digital society with a binary opposition lens. The Church must realize her mission to the world (in which digital culture is included), that is, to disciple the people for Christ. As 'The Word' has become 'The Flesh', the Church must also incarnate itself digitally. With her presence in the middle of the digital society, the Church must digitally carry out her tasks/calling-marturia (witnessing), koinonia (community), and diakonia (service). A digital Church must solidify itself within the digital society in the struggle to wade through the strong current of information and communication technology development for a more effective service to humanity. Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the simultaneous effect of attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control (PBC), perceived value, and image on public transport passengers’ intention to reuse. Design/methodology/approach – The empirical data were collected through survey. The respondents of the survey are 293 public transport passengers in Tangerang, Indonesia. Multiple regressions analysis was performed to test the conceptual model and the proposed hypotheses. Findings – The findings showed that attitude, subjective norm, and image influence public transport passengers’ intention to reuse. However, this research also found that perceived value and PBC does not influence public transport passengers’ intention to reuse significantly. Research limitations/implications – The survey was only conducted at one area in Indonesia. In addition, convenience sampling method was employed. These conditions may cause that the research results cannot be generalized to the other contexts. Therefore, replication research is needed to test the stability of the findings in the other contexts. Practical/implications – Public transport service managers need to pay attention to attitude, subjective norm, and image in order to ensure public transport passengers’ intention to reuse public transport services. Originality/value – This study is believed to be the first to develop and test public transport passengers’ intention to reuse model that integrated theory of planned behavior with perceived value and image. This study discusses the contestation of Islamic identity and local traditions of the Bugis-Makassar people in socio-religious life. Tradition contains a belief with form and practices that can still be traced to the present. In this case, the identity of the hajj pilgrimage attached to Muslims has been adapted to the Bawakaraeng Hajj community in the South Sulawesi region. The current research employed a qualitative descriptive approach and field-based data collection techniques by conducting observations and interviews with key informants about the Bawakaraeng community. It was found that the Bugis-Makassar practice of carrying out a series of rituals on the summit of Mount Bawakaraeng is an old tradition indicating a contestation between Islamic identity and local traditions. The term Hajj, which is attached to the Bawakaraeng pilgrimage, is a media construct, alluding to the mainstream Hajj, due to the strong influence of Islamization in South Sulawesi. Contestation takes place in three forms. First, mild contestation that shows religion and tradition accept and complement each other. Second, open contestation that distinguishes religious practices and traditions. Third, contestation that seeks to impose influence upon one another - a frontal conflict between religion and local traditions. This paper suggests that the study of Islam and culture in Indonesia, as a multicultural nation, still needs to be explored contextually and comprehensively as an ever-changing social phenomenon. This main aim of this paper is to explore home libraries' involvement in social changes in the rural area of Kepek, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. These home libraries mainly work as a collection provider at every house managed by a reading centre known as TBM (Community Reading Garden). This research used conceptual frameworks of social changes based on Ogburn and Bourdieu. Qualitative method was used to collect data using observation, interview, and documentation. The collected data was analysed through Miles and Huberman model including display, reduction, and conclusion/verification. The findings show that social changes occur through four phases, namely invention/discovery, diffusion, accumulation, and adaptation. These changes also found dynamic contestation between agency and structure in the home library program. The contestation creates dynamics in education and economy among actors in Kepek communities. The Nizam Zachman Jakarta Ocean Fishing Port (PPSNZJ), the largest fishing port in Indonesia, is currently experiencing overcapacity. This results in ships being moored in rows parallel to berths, indicating the insufficient number of berths in the port. This configuration poses a safety hazard due to the proximity of the moored ships, making it challenging to evacuate them in the event of a fire or other natural disasters. This study was conducted to propose an alternative concept for facility development in urban ocean fishing ports, with PPSNZJ as a study case. The study included a site visit to understand the actual berthing configuration of ships, data collection from the port technical execution unit, and observation of existing fish cargo handling operations. The collected data was analyzed to determine berth capacity and storage productivity, which was used to calculate the number of additional berths required to accommodate loading, unloading, and mooring ships. Based on the design calculations, an alternative development layout is proposed, which fulfils the berth capacity and safety requirements. Several languages displayed in Language Landscape (LL) in tourism cities are foremost to be explored since they can depict the battle and position of each language. As China has a tight cooperation with Indonesia and other countries, Mandarin has begun to be utilized in the public sphere, such as in the LL. Thus, this present study intends to analyze the use and position of Mandarin, the underlying reasons for using Mandarin, society’s perspective, and its implication. The qualitative method was applied in which all data were explained descriptively by engaging documentation and a questionnaire for data collection. The former was done through the 831 signs displayed in tourism cities in East Java (27 Mandarin LL involved). The latter was conducted through the 127 responses from various backgrounds: old and younger generations. The results indicate that (1) Mandarin LL with top -down signs get a higher percentage than bottom -up signs in which Mandarin is in the fourth position, (2) the utilization of Mandarin in LL is to reveal their identity of the LL owner, (3) it is not vital to display Mandarin in LL due to the lack knowledge of it. Even if societies have negative perceptions of Mandarin, they confess that Mandarin is extensively spread due to its fast growth in any sector. Consequently, this study is crucial to give a wake -up call to the government and speakers of indigenous languages that they should take essential action to preserve the position of local -ethnic languages in LL. Background. Not only causing major implications on physical medicine, COVID-19 had changed the landscape in psychiatric medicine. The world is facing an impending surge of psychiatric disorders, and the early signs are now clearer than ever. These early signs might help psychiatrist and physicians, in general, to more accurately analyse, diagnose and treat these psychiatric disorders. Objectives. To report the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of COVID-19 patients who experience psychiatric symptoms. Material and methods. The data was collected by secondary data in the form of medical records from patients treated at Udayana University Hospital within the period April 2020 to March 2021. Results. Patients with psychiatric disorders admitted to this hospital (n = 94) had a mean age of 48.5 (SD ± 14.5) years of age, with males constituting 51.1%. The psychiatric diagnoses found were insomnia (44.7%), adjustment disorder (26.6%), anxiety disorder (16.0%), depression (6.4%), psychosis (4.3%), bipolar disorder (3.2%), as well as delirium, acute stress reaction and schizophrenia at 2.1% each. These patients had a mean duration of hospitalisation of 13.2 (SD ± 6.1) days. The hospital recorded a fatality rate of 7.4% in this particular element of patients, higher than the fatality rate observed in those of the whole population. Conclusions. The first year of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, though not directly implying, was a warning sign of the impending surge of the number of psychiatric diagnoses in the future. The paper highlights Indonesian university stakeholders' perceptions of English in relation to identity. The questions addressed are whether or not English is viewed as a manifestation of imperialism, and whether or not English is seen as influencing national and religious identities. This is important because earlier research frequently “neglected, dismissed, denigrated, or proscribed” speakers' viewpoints (Kroskrity, 2004). Also, the context of study is significant since previous studies have found that English is in contest with Islam (Karmani, 2003, 2005a, 2005b, 2005c; Rahman, 2005; Widiyanto, 2005), the religion held by most Indonesians. The data collection was carried out at nine prominent universities in Yogyakarta Indonesia in 2009. Forty-three individual interviewees and 305 questionnaire participants were involved in the study. The interviewees consisted of Rectors, Vice Rectors for Academic Affairs, English Lecturers, Lecturers of subjects other than English, and students. The questionnaires were distributed randomly among students from these nine universities. The participants were found to perceive English positively. They view English as somewhat imposed upon them, yet the positives English clearly offers outweigh the negatives since they expressed a desire to learn and use the language. It was found that the participants continuously negotiate their identity as Indonesians and their desire to communicate in an international language for the sake of advancement, regardless of their beliefs. This paper estimates the break-even price in Central Kalimantan province, Indonesia and evaluates the effectiveness of a REDD+ mechanism in this area. On the basis of data collected through a field survey, we found that the break-even price is $$\$15.45$$ per ton of carbon or $$\$4.21$$ per ton of carbon dioxide. The figure can be even lower when we take the peat thickness of the area into account. Our analysis shows that the current level of carbon price can provide adequate compensation for Indonesian farmers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The ongoing development exerting spatial pressure on the village area poses a threat to the survival of rural communities today. This development often treats the village as an object of exploitation, sparking tenure conflicts and contributing to natural disasters in the village. Village spatial planning is needed to bolster the village's position. Moreover, the territorial aspect of the village greatly contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). While rules regarding village spatial planning are not yet established in Indonesia, several villages have initiated the preparation of Village Spatial Plans within their communities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the preparation and implementation of Village Spatial Plans in villages that have already undertaken this initiative. This research aims to illustrate the importance of a village having a spatial plan, hoping that the results can serve as material for policy formulation related to village spatial management in Indonesia. This research was conducted in 10 villages across 6 districts and 6 provinces in Indonesia. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). The results indicated that community participation and mentoring support from external parties well-versed in spatial planning are crucial in the preparation and implementation of Village Spatial Plans. The existence of Village Spatial Plans provides economic, social, and environmental benefits. Solving natural disaster problems, especially floods, requires community participation. One of the efforts that can be done is by implementing the environmental supplement book of flood disasters based on innovation learning model for natural science and environmental learning (ILMIZI). The purpose of this research was to implement a supplementary book to improve university students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and pro-environmental behavior (PEB). This was an experiment method consisting of experimental class and control class. The samples were 115 university students with 60 university students in experimental class and 55 university students in control class. The data analysis was a t-test that aims to test the significance of the difference in the mean HOTS and PEB scores for the experimental class and the control class. In addition to the t-test, descriptive analysis was also carried out by comparing the HOTS and PEB scores between the experimental class and the control class. The results of this study indicated that the t-test results were significant, which means that supplement books could increase HOTS and PEB of university students. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that university students were still weak in flood mitigation efforts related to the provision of disaster evacuation tools. In an effort to prevent disasters, it was necessary to innovate environmental learning to support sustainability. Introduction: It is hoped that the presence of Islamic microfinance in Muslim countries will not only pursue each other and increase productivity to increase their assets. However, Islamic microfinance is hoped to be able to provide benefits to the whole community, especially in eradicating poverty. The phenomenon, it becomes the basis for research to measure the determinants of participation in the utilization of Islamic microfinance products using the TPB approach in Indonesia Islamic microfinance. Purpose: This research has a purpose to measure the determinants of participation in the utilization of Islamic microfinance products. The model hypothesized that three factors, attitude, subjective norms and Perceived Behavior Control influence customers participation in the utilization of Islamic microfinance products. Methodology: This research uses a descriptive-quantitative-analytic method or approach with several stages, namely testing hypotheses, measuring data, interpretation and description of results and making conclusions. This research using primary data by questionnaires distributed to customers of Islamic financing products in Islamic microfinance. Data collection method using simple random sampling and the data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Smart PLS-3 application. Findings: The research results show that attitude directly has a significant positive effect on intentions in participation behavior in utilizing Islamic microfinance products at Islamic microfinance institutions. Meanwhile, indirectly attitudes are formed and influenced by awareness, compability, complexity and relative advantadge variables. This finding also confirms that subjective norms originating from a person's group and the perceived pressure from a person's reference to carry out targeted behavior can influence the intentions in participation behavior in utilizing Islamic microfinance products at Islamic microfinance institutions. Other findings that perceived behavioral control results is increased, when individuals feel they have more resources and confidence to perform. Perceived behavior control as measured by individual perceptions about the extent to which behavior performance is easy or difficult and considers facilitators and barriers to doing so has a significant effect on the intention to utilizing Islamic microfinance products. Transforming our world: the 2030 agenda for sustainable development promotes the improvement of health equity, which entails ongoing monitoring of health inequalities. The World Health Organization has developed a multistep approach to health inequality monitoring consisting of: (i) determining the scope of monitoring; (ii) obtaining data; (iii) analysing data; (iv) reporting results; and (v) implementing changes. Technical considerations at each step have implications for the results and conclusions of monitoring and subsequent remedial actions. This paper presents some technical considerations for developing or strengthening health inequality monitoring, with the aim of encouraging more robust, systematic and transparent practices. We discuss key aspects of measuring health inequalities that are relevant to steps (i) and (iii). We highlight considerations related to the selection, measurement and categorization of dimensions of health inequality, as well as disaggregation of health data and calculation of summary measures of inequality. Inequality monitoring is linked to health and non-health aspects of the 2030 agenda for sustainable development, and strong health inequality monitoring practices can help to inform equity-oriented policy directives. Law No. 5 of 1960. This law explains that land law in Indonesia is Unofficial. This means that all issues, status, and legal basis of land in Indonesia must refer to UUPA No. 5 of 1960. Actually, this UUPA is a land nationalization project in Indonesia. So that land is properly owned and enjoyed by Indonesian citizens so that foreign nationals do not have the right to land in Indonesia except Hak Pakai. This control is not meant to be Hak Milik, but the state controls land in the sense that the State is given the right to manage land in Indonesia for the prosperity of the Indonesian people themselves. There is recognition of customary law rights, especially in the land sector which is famous for the existence of Customary Rights. The UUPA itself provides recognition of Customary Land Rights. The concept of customary rights is in line with Article 6 of the UUPA that land must have a social function. This means that the function of land is not only for personal interests, but more importantly for the benefit of the wider community or for the common good. Individual rights to land also receive recognition from the UUPA such as Hak Milik (HM), Hak Guna Usaha (HGU), Hak Guna Bangunan (HGB), Hak Pakai (HP), Waqf and Land Security Rights. So it is clear that the Indonesian land law system is indeed based on the noble values of the Indonesian nation itself such as togetherness, justice, prosperity and kinship in land control and utilization while adhering to the principle that land must have a social function.
