The article analyzes the life and work of L. Rebet, his general theoretical views on the formation and development of the nation. Considerable attention is paid to the characterization of L. Rebet’s fundamental scientific works on the theory and history of the Ukrainian nation, in particular: “The Formation of the Ukrainian Nation”; “Theory of the Nation”; “The Origin of Ukrainians, Russians, Belarusians in the Light of Modern Soviet Theories”; “The Light and Shadows of the OUN”, etc. It is shown that in his scientific concept of the formation and development of the nation, Lev Rebet examined in detail the causes of the decline, economic and cultural isolation of the Ukrainian community during the Golden Horde, analyzed the causes of the territorial fragmentation of the Ukrainian principalities and determined the importance of the Galicia-Volhynia State for the continuation of the state life of the Ukrainian people. Using historical examples, L. Rebet identified the negative impacts on the Ukrainian population under the Lithuanian and Polish occupation of Ukrainian lands. L. Rebet rightly noted that during the revival of the Ukrainian people, religion and the Orthodox faith played an important role, opposing Catholicism and polonization and becoming the bearers of Ukrainian tradition and the formation of national consciousness. It was the Ukrainian bourgeoisie, part of the petty gentry, and artisans who proved to be the bearers of culture and state traditions. However, it was only the independent Ukrainian military Cossack stratum that became the military and organizational force that quickly acquired the features of a national state, and in the era of Bohdan Khmelnytsky’s hetmanship, thanks to the military and political success of the Cossacks, one of the most powerful Ukrainian states of that time emerged, which played a significant nation-building role and for several years “crystallized the Ukrainian community, approaching a higher type - the nation”, in which the Cossacks were the main political force. The article reveals that L. Rebet in his works considered nationalism as an ideology that should be based on feelings of national dignity, self-respect and national consciousness. L. Rebet convincingly argued in his writings that the Ukrainian people have the right to political self-determination and the creation of their own state. L. Rebet believed that in order to build one’s own state, first of all, it is necessary to raise the national consciousness and culture of the people. According to L. Rebbetzin, this requires the Ukrainian people to return to their national roots, to their own history and culture, in order to preserve and establish their national identity. In his scientific concept, Lev Rebet emphasized the importance of preserving Ukrainian culture and language, and of preserving the national identity of Ukrainians. Nationalism should be democratic and social. He sought to create a national liberation organization that would unite different segments of the population and work for the benefit of the entire Ukrainian people. L. Rebet favored the creation of national statehood, but believed that the source of power in the state should be the people, not the political elite. Rebet’s views on the importance of moral virtues and cultural values, such as freedom, justice, honesty, diligence, creativity, traditions, religion, and language, are particularly relevant. Objectives: The role of the current research is to set up a conceptual and analytical framework of the security, democracy and human rights linkage in contemporary society mainly based on the indexing, monitoring and research of online content for the period 1945-2019. Methods and methodology: Due to the focused timeline outlining the scientific research for the period 1945-2019, the paper favors both quantitative and qualitative approaches that follow a systemic framework of several thematic clusters which act as supporting pillars of analytical research by using Google Ngrams: (a) norms and constitutional values and principles; (b) civil and legal liberties; (c) human and individual approaches; (d) institutional governance and organizational establishment; (e) freedoms, civil and political rights. Results and discussions: The research results explore the variations in the frequency of appearances of the selected concepts in the specialized literature indexed by the Google platform indicating essential aspects of the conceptual and theoretical evolutions in strict dependence to the significant resolutions of the Security Council of the United Nations adopted in the same period and focusing on three central concepts: security, democracy and human rights. The spectrum of research singles out fifteen figures and an integrated analysis of contextual, historical, political, institutional, legal and social factors. Conclusion: The research aims to expand the field of reference and analysis of the three notions of security, democracy and human rights by integrating the multifactorial and multi-conditional analysis for the interpretation of the results of the fifteen figures. In the broader framework of online monitoring and complementarily with the spectrum of UNSC resolutions, the research will use contemporary topics, intensely debated, used and monitored, focusing on the conceptual and linguistic study and on the relationship between the analytical inventory of scientific research and the international decision-making spectrum. This relationship is mediated by the lexicon of politics and the sociology of international relations, which reflected a growing evolutionary linguistic semantics since 1945, the year of the establishment of the United Nations. According to current forecasts, global heating is likely to exceed 2.8 °C by the end of this century. This makes substantial adaptation measures necessary to secure a broad basis for livelihood provision and the conservation of biodiversity. While the implementation of top-down and technocratic adaptation efforts predominates, related adaptation shortcomings of a socio-economic and ecological nature are becoming more and more apparent. Community-based adaptation (CBA), with its participatory, inclusive and needs-based bottom-up approach, offers a promising and powerful alternative. This article uses a semi-systematic literature review approach to screen the current literature and identify core issues of CBA. Linking communality, locality, multidimensionality, power imbalances, transformative potential, localisation, the triad of adaptation metrics and nature-based adaptation to corresponding potential actions for practical implementations provides a more holistic conceptualisation and broadens the horizons for further learning, research and improved applications. The concept of viewing a patient as an organization within the context of digital healthcare is an innovative and evolving concept. Traditionally, the patient-doctor relationship has been centered around the individual patient and their interactions with healthcare providers. However, with the advent of technology and digital healthcare solutions, the dynamics of this relationship are changing. Digital healthcare platforms and technologies enable patients to have more control and active participation in managing their health and healthcare processes. This shift empowers patients to take on a more proactive role, similar to how an organization functions with various stakeholders, goals, and strategies. The prevalence of mobile phones and wearables is regarded as an important factor in the acceptance of digital health. Objective: This study aimed to identify the factors affecting adoption intention using the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model), HB (Health Belief model), and the UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology). The argument is made that the adoption of the technology enables patients to create resources (ie, data), transforming patients from mere consumers to producers as well. Results: PLS analysis showed that health beliefs and perceived ease of use had positive effects on the perceived usefulness of digital healthcare, and system capabilities positively impacted perceived ease of use. Furthermore, perceived service, the customer's willingness to change and reference group influence significantly impacted adoption intention (b > 0.1, t > 1.96, P <.05). However, privacy protection and data security, online healthcare resources, and user guidance were not positively associated with perceived usefulness. Conclusions: Perceived usefulness, the customer's willingness to change, and the influence of the reference group are decisive variables affecting adoption intention among the general population, whereas privacy protection and data security are indecisive variables. This pilot study investigates the way that young students and teachers of a Dutch Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) secondary school subject Research and Design (R&D) reason about the concept of 'model'. The core of the Dutch Technasium secondary school course Research and Design curriculum (R&D is in Dutch called Onderzoeken en Ontwerpen O&O) is to involve students in real-life design (or research) problems with a problem owner at a company or organisation. Students explore the nature of the design problem, establish a design brief, explore possible solutions and work out one option into a design, a prototype or a product depending on the level of complexity. Students work and learn in teams coached by Technasium teachers. Some secondary school teachers are qualified to teach at Technasium if they obtain a certificate from the Technasium foundation through a number of short training courses. They are originally teachers in various subjects like mathematics, physics, physical exercise, language and so on. The other part of the teachers has a teaching degree in R&D next to a degree in engineering. Thanks to different backgrounds the teachers offer a variety of angles and know-how in different fields of expertise needed during R&D activities. Such a composition is enriching and STEM supporting at the level of knowledge transfer. It is clear that some R&D teachers have no design pre-knowledge. A pilot survey of R&D students and teachers on the concept of 'model' within design activities unexpectedly showed similar doses of confusion about the concept of 'model' among students and teachers. Therefore, when asked to teach a concept of 'model' in design related activities teachers provided a different definition of concept. Often a physically built scale 'model' or prototype is the form of 'model' they recognize in designing. The danger of such an approach is that the students obtain different, incomplete, or incorrect knowledge about the concept of 'model' in relation to design. In contrast to the requirements for scientific accuracy, terms, particularly in the humanities, often reflect the specific socio-cultural context of their use and seemingly equivalent terms can have significant conceptual differences within multilingual scholarly and professional communities. One such term is native speaker , which is crucial to the English Language Teaching (ELT) academic discourse. The main objective of this study is to explore the structure and meaning of the concept underlying the term native speaker and its dynamic functioning in discourse to identify differences in their understanding. The material consisted of English and Russian-language research articles on ELT from 1970 to 2020. The study was conducted using a linguosynergetic approach, which considers discourse as a self-developing and self-organizing, nonlinear, open and unstable system. The methodology included three stages. First, the authors conducted an axiomatic analysis of the contexts in which the term native speaker is used. Then, they modeled the concept in different synchronous slices. Finally, they compared the data obtained. The results showed that the differences concern not only the periphery of the concepts, but also their very core. In Russian ELT discourse, the concept retains a relatively stable structure. This reflects the role of the native speaker in the educational process, as a learning model and a preferred teacher. In English ELT discourse, the term native speaker has acquired a negative connotation, and conceptually, it acts as an opponent to the term non-native speaker , forming a dual concept with it. The conclusions сan serve as a basis for further comparative studies on interlanguage terminological systems in the humanities field.

The article is devoted to the study of the ‘information noise’ phenomenon in the context of modern cinema. As a comprehensive art form, cinema in the current era confronts this multifaceted issue. This study critically analyses the concept of information noise scrutinizing its manifestations across diverse cultural and social contexts. The author highlights various dimensions of information noise and assesses its impact on the perception and interpretation of cinematic productions, encompassing aspects like historical authenticity, value stereotyping, the preservation or substitution of core ideas, censorship influence, narrative complexity, and verbal imperfections. The article also addresses the current state of scientific development of the topic under study. It underscores people’s limitations in processing information and how perception is influenced by their socio-cultural origins. The necessity for a standardized approach to identify characteristics of information noise in film production is also emphasized.

ABSTRACT In contrast to the recurring drop of demand in traditional education institutions, it is noticed a rapid expansion of Edtechs. Considered as educational startups with alternative learning models and innovative methodologies based on multidisciplinary collaboration, we do not know much from a theoretical point of view about their specific characteristics, which contrasts with traditional teaching modalities. This article aims to evaluate the literature about Edtechs, assessing both the adopted concept and the challenges and trends regarding the future of these new educational institutions. The methodology used was a literature review divided into two stages. The first stage was quantitative, focusing on the volume of publications by author, journal, and other descriptive information. The second stage was qualitative, focusing on the content of the published articles. The quantitative analysis allowed us to conclude that studies on the topic are recent and have a growing publication trend, but there is no publication concentration in journals. The qualitative analysis concluded that Edtechs have a social mission to mobilize new technologies to transform and improve the reach and quality of education and student's life and career prospects. This research is relevant for the academic and corporate community interested in the topic, as it consolidates all the scientific knowledge about Edtechs.

Management scholars increasingly seek to make a contribution to addressing the big issues faced by society (climate change, poverty, migratory crises, etc.), often using the term grand challenges to refer to these. However, after an initial phase of enthusiasm, the lack of coherence and distinctiveness of a relatively new management research concept – typical of an ‘umbrella concept’ – has been criticized. This article addresses the research question of how grand challenges can pass the tests of validity and rationalization in order to improve the robustness of the concept. To this end, we map out the literature on grand challenges using a mixed methodology of bibliometric analysis, combining co-citation and bibliographic coupling. By identifying the intellectual foundations and research streams, our paper analyzes the different uses of grand challenges in the literature as well as the resulting inconsistencies – thereby tidying up the concept. The current weaknesses of the grand challenges concept call for a clarification of its attributes. We pinpoint the importance of this redefinition and how it can be achieved, and discuss the possibilities for theoretical development of the field.

This article continues a series of author's publications on the evolution of the theology of the Hellenic religion. The subject of the article is the theology of the period of formation of the culture of the late classics (first floor. IV century BC). It is shown that at this time the theater (drama, tragedy) ceased to be “objectified theology”, and the comprehension of the Hellenic religion became the task of philosophical consciousness, the subject of rational conceptual thinking. It was in the era of the late classics that the purposeful construction of an abstract-conceptual model of the sacred world began. The possibility of such a construction is generated by the fact that it is currently that the process of thinking as a system of interaction of operands (sensory images, their fragments and combinations, abstractions, idealizations, etc.) and operations on them from two-level becomes multilevel. It becomes possible to replace a real object with its abstract model, to study the regularities of the object through the identification of stable relationships between the properties of such a model. Theology is also transformed in such conditions. There is a growing need to replace the mythological (visual-figurative) model of the sacred world with an abstract-conceptual model of it. It was in the era of the late classics that the purposeful construction of an abstract-conceptual model of the sacred world began. This profound religious transformation will culminate in the birth of the world's monotheistic de-ethnized religions - Christianity, Islam, as well as the Hellenization of Judaism. Socrates and Plato are at the origins of such a cognitive transition from visual-figurative to abstract-conceptual modeling of the sacred world, who creates a new form of theology based on the doctrine of ideas - “transcendental mythology”. It is aimed at creative search and logical substantiation of new basic principles (monotheism, transcendence, creative activity, inner perfection, etc.) and semantic images of the abstract model of the sacred world. In a few centuries they will become the ideological framework of the theologies of Christianity and Islam.

The relevance of this article lies in the need to study the transformation of the image of Russians in the British media discourse during periods of allied relations between Russia and Britain and during periods of confrontation between these states, which is necessary to expand the understanding of the mechanisms of transformation of the image of ethnos in the political media discourse. The purpose of the article is a comparative analysis of the conceptual and linguistic-stylistic actualization of the images of Russians in the British media discourse during the Second World War and the last decade. The results of the research show that during the Second World War, when the Soviet Union and Britain were allies in the fight against Nazi Germany, the image of Russians had a positive connotative background. Its conceptual space included such axiologically significant concepts as "ally", "defence", "bravery", "courage", "battle", "sacrifice", "victory", "confidence", "unity" and "patriotism." Russians were attributed such positive personality qualities, represented in the conceptual space of the image by the corresponding concepts, as emotionality, a good sense of humor, complaisance, patience, cordiality Creating such an image, British journalists used functionalevaluative words of positive semantics, comparative constructions, allowing to show the constancy of positive qualities, and contrast, with which the bravery of Russian soldiers was emphasized in comparison with the nations that failed to resist fascism. Due to the confrontation between Russia and Britain that has intensified since 2014, the connotative background of the image of Russians is mostly very negative. The conceptual field of the image of Russians includes such axiologically significant concepts as "enemy", "crime", "prostitution", "corruption", "evil", "deceived by propa-ganda", "weakness", "fear", "despair" and "depression". This image is created with the help of evaluative and functional-evaluative lexemes with negative evaluation, com-parative constructions and metaphorical epithets.

The scientific article is devoted to researching the concept of transit justice and clarifying its significance for Ukraine. The concept of transitive justice is very relevant, which is connected with the spread of internal and interstate conflicts. It is noted that the national model of transitive justice is relatively new for domestic legal practice, therefore the understanding of its essence and the development of mechanisms is still at the initial stage. It is emphasized that transitive justice involves a set of measures aimed at overcoming the consequences of war and occupation and developing mechanisms that will prevent the recurrence of conflicts in the future. The concept of transitive justice is used by states that are transitioning from a state of conflict and occupation to a state of peace, it does not contain universal formulas for all states. Attention is focused on the fact that under modem conditions in Ukraine, the directions of transitive justice are implemented situationally, unsystematically and do not have proper legal consolidation. The international experience of the implementation of the mentioned concept, taking into account the Ukrainian realities, should be defined as useful. Recognition of the supremacy of international law and the tendency to increase the role of nonjudicial mechanisms in the justice system will provide an opportunity to use non-judicial mechanisms in order to strengthen sustainable peace. Implementation of the principles of transitive justice affects the development of the legal system of Ukraine and should ensure its stabilization, creation of conditions for its modernization and sustainable development. At the same time, it is stated that it is necessary to carry out a lot of work to establish the reasons for which the war is taking place, to find out what happened directly during the armed conflict. It should be understood that the end of the war is not just the return of the occupied territories under the jurisdiction of Ukraine, but the beginning of a difficult path to resolve the consequences of the conflict and search for a compromise. It is emphasized that there is a real need to implement the model of transitive justice, as an important tool for resolving the military conflict and the main direction of state legal policy, in the conditions of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. The article highlights the issue of classification of the concepts of state sovereignty, which is of key importance in ensuring peaceful and equal coexistence of states. It has been established that the most expedient is the classification of ideas about state sovereignty precisely at the stage of its formation and formation in the political life of European states in the late Middle Ages and Modern Age according to the criterion of its absoluteness and relativity. It is found that even given the widespread prevalence of these competing ideas, unity on the main provisions of each of them has not been achieved. Based on the idea of the possibility of limiting the state’s sovereignty, which has long been very popular, it was found that representatives of the scientific community within the period under study were divided according to this criterion into: supporters of the concept of absolute sovereignty, who denied any possibility of limiting sovereignty, considering it unacceptable; supporters of the concept of absolute sovereignty, who allowed certain restrictions; supporters of the concept of relative sovereignty, who declared certain restrictions on sovereignty; supporters of the concept of relative sovereignty, who stated the existence of the possibility of transferring part of sovereignty to interstate entities. In general, the essence of the idea of absolute sovereignty is seen in the unlimited or almost unlimited power of the sovereign, who is not responsible for his or her actions. It is stated that such ideas are the basis for the interpretation of the content of sovereignty by authoritarian and totalitarian states. At the same time, the evidence that the category of sovereignty is viewed through the prism of democracy is the promotion of the ideas of the European space unity, consolidation of the concepts of external and internal limitations of the state, which emphasizes the readiness of states to sacrifice for the common good – peaceful coexistence on the basis of equality, justice and humanism. Thus, this classification helps to establish the historical foundations of different interpretations of the content of sovereignty by the states of competing legal systems and allows to form a conceptual framework for the idea of state sovereignty at the stage of its approval in the international legal system. Research question (RQ): Is pragmatic research the answer to researching complex, uncertain, and irrational organisational landscapes? Purpose and originality: This article explains a mechanism-based pragmatic approach to organizational science. A comprehensive examination of core approaches to organizational research reveals that traditional organizational theories and classical models prove inadequate in providing a holistic understanding of the escalating complexity and multimodality of organizational phenomena. This underscores the novelty and potential of the pragmatic approach in tackling these complexities. Method: The research used organizational source criticism as a historical methodology to analyse the shift in organizational science beyond classical objectivist conceptualizations. Mechanism-based research explored and understood the contingency of knowledge and action using a pragmatic approach to organisation research. Results: This study's findings underscore the practical implications of pragmatic research in organizational science. It is not a static method but a dynamic and evolving one that effectively addresses organizations' changing needs, societal trends, and technological advancements. This emphasis on adaptability and relevance keeps pragmatic research at the forefront of organizational science, making our findings all the more significant and interesting. Limitations/Further research: It's important to note that this research is based on conceptual views of organizational pragmatic research. While it involved a systematic analysis of the application of pragmatic research methods in the empirical field, it's crucial to acknowledge that further analysis is not just a suggestion but a necessity to fully understand the method's role in explaining complex organizational phenomena. This acknowledgement of the need for more research encourages the reader to delve deeper into the topic, fostering a sense of curiosity and engagement.

The paper deals with the speech genre “wish” treated as emotional and volitive communicative event, its meaning is an expressed wish of implementation of something good or bad for somebody. Grammatically, this genre is a kind of mood named “optative”. It is a speech act describing a certain situation which implies an emotional reaction of a person. The reaction of an addressee for a good wish is usually expressed in words or gestures of gratitude. In case of a bad wish expressed directly it merges with a quarrel and a reverse bad wish. Common objects of good wishes are good health, happiness, prosperity, success and good luck. Good wishes may be combined with proactive criticism, accusation, reproach, or request. This speech act may be either neutral or discourse specific (used by soldiers, sailors, students, etc.), it is specifically used when addressed to elder people or applied to certain events, e.g. weddings. Bad wishes were initially pronounced as magic meant to bring harm to someone, and nowadays they are used as a kind of invectives or jokes. Bad wishes are usually combined with insult.

The concept of fate is an important marker of Russia’s national mentality and culture. It has undergone quite a diversity of cultural paradigms throughout Russian history. According to numerous studies, the concept of fate reflects some national traits that appeared as a result of cultural, economic, and political interaction. Linguistic symbolism expresses its semantic meaning in different ways on the associative-figurative level, which attracts both linguists and psychologists. The research objective was to identify the maximal number of cognitive features of the concept of fate. The review covered publications on cognitive psychology, e.g., perception, basic concepts of cognitive linguistics, cultural linguistics, etc. The experimental part of the research relied on the method of free definitions and the indirect associative experiment, which included academics and students of the Altai State University. It revealed the actual content of the concept and its interpretative field. The methods of semantic differential, as well as the quantitative and qualitative indexing, made it possible to study the emotional attitude to the concept. The gestalt approach provided access to the concept through the abstract perception of the fate image as an invisible construct, often interpreted as destiny or doom. The collocations of the word fate and the semantic content of the concept included such adjectives as inexorable, unpredictable, and benevolent. In a qualitative aspect, the indirect associative experiment revealed the emotional and mental characteristics of fate in Russian linguistic consciousness. The associative connections demonstrated the predominance of a positive attitude to the idea of fate at the conceptual and axiological levels.

I argue in the essay that the conceptualist understanding of the mind-world relation ultimately leads to the kind of view that Panayot Butchvarov calls conceptual or linguistic creationism. According to this view, “there is nothing we have not conceptualized”. In addition to being an antithesis of metaphysical realism, which maintains that there is a reality independent of us, the term refers to the kind of thinking that sees human cognitive experience (and reality itself) as thoroughly constituted according to our concepts. While it might be easy to attribute this kind of position to Kant as well, especially when read through a conceptualist lens, I argue that such a position is not in accord with Kant’s philosophical intentions. Using the Deduction and Schematism chapters of the Critique of Pure Reason as examples, I also argue that on the conceptualist understanding of the mind-world relation too much is read into Kant’s idea that sensibility and understanding must be cognitively compatible with one another.

In the Critique of Pure Reason Immanuel Kant said that cognition (objective perception) is acquired in the unity of sensibility (the receptivity of the mind to receive empirical representations of things, which yields intuitions) and the understanding (in which concepts – general representations of things – arise), and is mediated by the imagination. Here, it is shown that numbers, either pure or denominate, are cognized in the synthesis of intuition and mathematical concept, and that the phenomenal world of the cognizer is shaped accordingly. Any number can be related to any other number through a general mathematical formula conceived by the cognizer for the purpose. The judgment of the cognizer is manifest in the specifics of the mathematical relationship established between the two numbers in cognition. If the cognized number is the numerical value of a physical constant then in the (consistent) phenomenal world it will always have been of the value found in cognition, which explains why the universe seems to be fine-tuned for life. If the cognized number is the numerical value of a physical variable, then the number will be subject to change in accordance with physical laws. Symmetry is a recurrent feature of the phenomenology. A mathematical formula conceived by the cognizer may also relate, one to one, the numerical values of quantities in one set with the numerical values of quantities of different dimensionality in another set, which suggests that physical laws are human inventions and that causality is a pure concept of the understanding.

The geopolitical situation of the Russian Federation dictates the priority areas of potential mutually beneficial cooperation, the Asia-Pacific being one of them. India’s role on the global information arena is increasing, and Russia needs to set up new, secure lines of cooperation. This work is part of a series of publications on India’s information security system. The article outlines its progress over the past decades, e.g., the concept of information security, the mechanisms that ensure India’s external information and economic security, the tools of database protection in the global information environment, etc. The result is a complete and comprehensive picture of the stage-by-stage development of India’s information security structure in various fields and industries in each sector of cyberspace, with goals and functions for each regulatory act and control institution. This holistic view of India’s information security covers its concept and chronology of development, as well as offers a classification of the key information security mechanisms currently active in the country.

The purpose of this article is to analyze Ukraine’s space policy from the viewpoint of its correlation with space law, to clarify the peculiarities of the respective interaction, its advantages and weaknesses, as well as to develop recommendations for improving the efficiency of space activities using the mechanisms of strategic planning and improving the systemic links between policy and law. The study is carried out in a chronological context: from the collapse of the USSR and the formation of an independent Ukrainian State to the present day, taking into account the dominant trends at each stage. Based on a systematic analysis of political processes and their correlation with law-making and law enforcement mechanisms, the author concludes that the current state of Ukraine’s space activities is in crisis. This situation is largely due to the absence/insufficiency of strategic planning of space activities in Ukraine. Until Ukraine is placed outside the brackets of the world’s space powers, it is necessary to pay serious attention to the development of a doctrine of Ukraine’s space activities with the broad involvement of science. On its basis, having taken into account all economic, political, infrastructural, technological factors, as well as current existential challenges, the Strategy of Space Activities of Ukraine should be elaborated, with a legal component as an organic part of it.

The article is devoted to the study of the metaphorical and metonymic representation of the concept «Market» in the English investment discourse. Unlike many works that analyse the concept of «Market» in an economic way in economic discourse, the present study focuses on the study of this concept in the financial sense, which has not previously been the subject of a special analysis. The aim of the study is to identify metaphorical and metonymic models of conceptualization of the concept of «Market» and their interaction, expressed in the phenomenon of metaphthonymy. The material of the study was represented by 232 metonymic and metaphorical contexts extracted from English monographic sources devoted to various aspects of investing. Using the methods of conceptual analysis and the method of metaphorical and metonymic modelling, the source domains for the target domains «Market» were identified and the corresponding metaphorical and metonymic models were analysed. The analysis showed that the interaction of metonymy and metaphor in the representation of the concept under study is expressed in the metaphtonymic model «MARKET IS A SUBJECT OF INVESTMENT RELATIONS», based on the metonymic transfer «THE WHOLE FOR A PART». A purely metaphorical conceptualization is expressed in four major metaphorical models: anthropomorphic, nature-morphic, zoomorphic metaphors and the metaphor of sports and games. The identified metaphorical models conceptualize a complex abstract phenomenon of the market mechanism as a phenomenon of human environment, endowed with specific positive and negative features, which is intended to demonstrate both the attractiveness of the financial market for the investor and the dangers that await him in the course of investment activities. The largest metaphorical and metaphtonymic model is an anthropomorphic model that creates a complex image of the market as a person with its own physical, emotional, cognitive and social characteristics.

The monograph is devoted to the issues of linguaculturology, linguasemiotics and discourse studies. It consists of four thematic sections: linguaconceptology, narratology, discourse science and the section devoted to the study of the axiological properties of nominations. Comprehension of linguacultural concepts is carried out on the basis of existence forms – peaceful life and competition, natural and artifactual objects – desert, swamp, train station and bazaar, as well as atmospheric and biological phenomena – fog and blood. The narratology issues are studied on the basis of the allegorical interpretation of the plots of Russian, Armenian and Kalmyk fairy tales, fairy tales of the Bantu peoples, the axiology of anime, fairy, the axiology of life and death in a poetic text. The properties of discourse are considered through its symbolic, fascinative, desiderative and optative, destructive and comic characteristics, as well as through the evaluative specificity of pedagogical and educational discourses. The nomination properties are studied in terms of communicative restrictions and taboos, gender asymmetry of pejorative vocabulary, asymmetry of partial quality and characteristics of low-quality artifacts. The monograph is meant for philologists and a wide range of researchers developing the fundamentals of an integral human science.

The active usage of the concept of «media design» in the modern information space highlights the problem of its definition and lexicographical fixation. Among various types of dictionaries, consolidated ones are singled out. Special attention is drawn to those in which definitions of field concepts or philological interpretations of specific terms that denote them are gathered through information search methods and are compiled and ordered from scientific and lexicographical works. The article analyzes the main features and definitions of the concept of «media design» as documented in scientific and lexicographical works and reference sources. The specifics of the functioning of the corresponding term, its origin, and use in professional texts are revealed. The method of systematization and comparison of the collected material helped identify contextual synonyms used by design professionals. Through definitive analysis, the main features of the concept of «media design» are clarified, and its definition is proposed. The application of data visualization method enabled the creation of a presentation and video clip for a visual representation of information about media design and related concepts. The inventoried material has been adapted for a dictionary article in the electronic educational resource (EER) «Lexical Minimum of Mеdia Scientist» (as one of the research areas of the collective topic «Media Studies in Scientific and Educational Discourses»), which is being developed and filled by faculty members and students of the Faculty of Journalism at the Boris Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University. According to the developed template of the dictionary article, the primary data were systematized, unified and converted to EER. The author's definitions of the concept of «media design» form five vectors of relations (three vectors of systemic and two vectors of non-systemic relations) through which scholars interpret the analyzed concept, requiring standardization and lexicographical fixation in dictionaries.

Purpose. To consider the problem of the lack of a regulated regulatory and legal environment, complex methods and systematic practices of ecosystem services assessment in Ukraine. Results. The problem of the lack of a regulated regulatory and legal environment, complex methods and systematic practices of evaluating ecosystem services in Ukraine is considered. An assessment of the value of these services for the urban ecosystem of Ternopil was carried out using the materials of the regional landscape park "Zagrebellya". It was noted that the annual cost of ecosystem services is 16 billion 586 million 627 thousand 610 UAH. For comparison, the annual budget of Ternopil is UAH 3.3967 billion. (2024). Such a comparison is evidence that the cost of ecosystem services of natural landscapes of the RLP is not only 4.9 times higher than the annual budget of the city. These services are directly consumed by people and are primarily beneficial to local residents, because they are the ones who receive them, and if they sell them on, they become an intermediary between ecosystems and the end users of their services. Competent use of this group of services is an important window of opportunity for each of the territorial communities. In the future, it is important to implement the category "ecosystem service" in the legislative and other normative legal acts of Ukraine and to develop and implement payments for ecosystem services in the practice of budget planning. Conclusion. Ukraine faces the needs of modern modernization of the principles of sustainable development and inclusion in the development processes of ecosystem management. It can take place only on the basis of Ukraine's involvement in international trends of inclusion of natural ecosystem services in the mechanisms of sustainable development, which requires an appropriate economic assessment of these services. In the future, it is important to implement the category "ecosystem service" in the legislative and other normative legal acts of Ukraine and to develop and implement payments for ecosystem services in the practice of budget planning

Зважаючи на масштабне загострення глобальної екологічної проблеми попри майже тридцятирічне впровадження Концепції сталого розвитку, розробленої у Ріо-де-Жанейро (1992), вона потребує сьогодні додаткового дослідження та обґрунтування. Самий факт масштабного загострення глобальної екологічної проблеми примушує засумніватись у методологічній коректності концепції. Оскільки споживання природних ресурсів, а, отже, і екологічний стан навколишнього середовища великою мірою залежить від розуміння екологічної сутності енергетичних відносин в екосистемах, варто орієнтуватись на наукові положення вітчизняної школи фізичної економії, опрацьовані в роботах Сергія Подолинського, Володимира Вернадського, Миколи Руденка, Віктора Письмака. Саме відповідно до цих положень вимагає перегляду система критеріїв-індикаторів сталого розвитку. Запропоноване нове бачення теоретичних підвалин для розробки таких індикаторів. Сучасне, постіндустріальне розуміння змісту сталого розвитку автори насичують ноосферним змістом. Спираючись на розроблену в попередніх авторських роботах концепцію ноосферних екосистем, також робиться спроба якісно нового обґрунтування цілей і напрямків планетарного розвитку усієї людської популяції. Висновки. Лише в наближенні механізмів природокористування до природних аналогів автори вбачають майбутній тренд реалізації концепції сталого розвитку. Пропонується прикладне впровадження авторських теоретичних положень при реформуванні адміністративно-територіального устрою.

Nowadays there is a need to actualise scientific research, in which axiological analysis of philological phenomena is one of the priorities. This analysis allows to give the research an ethicalphilological perspective, the relevance of which is conditioned by the selection of those components which are connected with ontological ethical values. The interiorisation of these values in the individual’s consciousness contributes to the effective humanisation of the person’s consciousness. The aim of the study is to identify ontological ethical values in C.T. Aitmatov’s novels, presented in the form of semantic-semiotic invariant paradigms and their variable connotative components. At the level of semiotics the images-symbols as basic concepts are considered, at the level of semantics the spiritual and moral dominants of the axiosphere of these novels are revealed as part of lexemes and phrases. The material of the research was the conceptosphere of Ch.T. Aitmatov’s novels “And the Day Lasts Longer than a Century” and “The Scaffold”, represented by basic images-symbols, as well as the lexico-phrase layer of the novels “Cassandra’s Brand” and “When Mountains Fall (The Eternal Bride)”, which contains concepts that act as spiritual and moral dominants of the works. The article uses the method of theoretical poetics, axiological, descriptive and linguocultural methods, method of contextual analysis, semiotic analysis, linguocognitive approach was also applied. Results . Basic figurative and symbolic concepts in the novels “And the Day Lasts Longer than a Century” and “The Scaffold” and the semantic model of spiritual and moral dominants in the novels “Cassandra’s Brand” and “When Mountains Fall (The Eternal Bride)” have an unconditional humanistic character, reflecting the depth of spiritual and moral revelations of Ch.T. Aitmatov. These concepts and dominants constitute the ideological and moral core of the novels, being unconditional existential ideals that determine the vectors of moral and humanistic development of the individual and humanity as a whole. Conclusion : the study of the semantic-semiotic paradigm of the dominants of axiosphere of Ch.T. Aitmatov’s novels in the aspects of image-symbolic concepts and semantic model of spiritual and moral values allows to reveal the essence of the author’s ideal, to pay attention to its humanely educating character.

Linguocultural concepts in the film text are a complex aspect of translation. This paper is devoted to the study of the localization potential of linguistic and cultural concepts in the implementation of the film text translation in French-English language pair. The purpose of the article is to analyze the localization potential of linguistic and cultural concepts in intermediated intercultural communication through the cinema resource. The paper provides examples of un\ successful localization, compiled on the basis of a films target audience anonymous survey. The research material included 4 concepts ( Amour/Love, Amitié /Friendship, Famille/ Family, Patrimoine/National Treasure ) implemented in 70 French films with official localizations into English, released in the period of 1966-2022. The methods of random sampling, mathematical statistics, quantitative analysis, semantic and linguocultural analysis of the text, method of anonymous questioning were used in the study. To conduct a qualitative evaluation of the film text original and localized units perception, we conducted a survey of anglophone and francophone viewers. The results of the study were the identification of various translation transformations used in the localization of functional and pragmatic units of the film text with an analize of their effectiveness by viewers perceiving the film text in the source language and by viewers perceiving the film text in the target language. The use of statistical analysis methods made it possible to verify the data obtained empirically, and semantic and linguocultural analysis made it possible to analyze the obtained linguistic units in terms of their assessment and linguistic systematization.

This article aims to identify the linguistic features of English-language educational discourse in terms of structural, descriptive, semantic, and cognitive-pragmatic analyses. The relevance of the study stems from the need to identify trends in the representation of language components in modern grammar textbooks within the communicative-pragmatic paradigm of educational discourse. The authors focus on the linguosynergetic potential of the English grammar textbook “English Grammar in Use” by Raymond Murphy, manifested in changes of certain discourse markers in all five editions. Employing a multimodal discourse analysis methodology, this research scrutinizes the verbal and visual disparities—encompassing graphic elements, letter capitalization, italics, font, and color—that hold pragmatic value and fulfill various roles, from engagement to information conveyance. The authors also investigate the interference of advertising and educational discourses and the small-format nature of texts in this self-study textbook, whose hypertext structure and internal navigational system serve as a surrogate for teacher guidance, thereby performing a directive function. A diachronic analysis of communicative scenarios within the textbook’s exercises reveals the dynamic utilization of interjections, underscoring their importance in creating an emotive-expressive backdrop that facilitates the acquisition of grammatical phenomena, reflective of their real-world application. Thus, in an attempt to represent the features of natural communication and to avoid the use of linguistic terms, the author of the textbook presents complex grammatical material in the most accessible form for a wide audience. Consequently, the study highlights the textbook’s increasing emphasis on the personality-bound component, complementing the traditionally dominant status-oriented approach in educational discourse.

The implementation of advanced digital, intelligent production technologies and robotic systems contributes to the achievement of the goal set for the agro-industrial complex for transition to a highly productive, environmentally friendly agricultural economy. Taking this into account, as well as the global trends in the development of unmanned mobile vehicles, three conceptual models for the development of unmanned mobile power tools are proposed: the creation of universal unmanned mobile vehicles of various traction classes and power based on commercially available tractors (conceptual model A), the creation of universal unmanned low-power mobile devices working in groups (conceptual model B) and the creation of energy modules (conceptual model C). In order to determine further prospects for their use, theoretical studies have been carried out on the issue of evaluating the productivity of agricultural aggregates in combination with unmanned mobile vehicles of the proposed conceptual models. The research was carried out on the basis of existing well-known methods and formulas for determining productivity. The analysis of factors affecting the productivity of an agricultural unit during field operations shows that when using unmanned mobile vehicles, an increase in the productivity of the unit can be ensured by increasing the utilization factor of the width of the grip and the time of main work by eliminating the time spent on rest and personal needs of the operator, reducing the time spent when turning the unit at the end of the rut. The developed methodological approaches to the issue of calculating the productivity of agricultural aggregates in combination with unmanned mobile agricultural vehicles made it possible to assess the increase in the productivity of aggregates using unmanned mobile means of the proposed conceptual models. The use of unmanned mobile vehicles of the considered conceptual models can increase the replaceable productivity of units for continuous cultivation compared with traditional manned tractors by a level from 3 to 24 %.

The article considers the categorical modeling of the sublanguage of homeopathy. The sublanguage of a professional area of knowledge and/or activity is a means of verbalizing its notions, concepts and categories, and serves as a form of creation, interpretation, storage and communication of special knowledge. On the material of 1258 terms and general literary words from homeopathic dictionaries, monographs and tutorials on homeopathy, 8 universal ontological and epistemological categories are distinguished (categories of agent, state, processes, occupations, properties, values, sciences and branches, tools) and one category, characteristic for this sublanguage, – “Medication”. These particular categories are conceptually significant for this sublanguage, they form the “framework” of homeopathic knowledge. Universal categories are inherent in any scientifi c field, while the specific category “Medication” is a unique mental construct due to the distinctive characteristics of the concepts constituting this category and the prevailing means of their verbalization. From the point of view of verbalization of homeopathic concepts that form the identifi ed categories, the sector-specifi c (general medical, anatomical, clinical) terminology has the largest share, which results from the youth of homeopathy as a professional knowledge and its status as a branch of medical science. General literary vocabulary is also present in homeopathic texts and represents a part of everyday knowledge that is inevitable for any scientifi c and professional fi eld, due to the necessity to communicate not only within the framework of the “specialist – specialist” scheme, but also within the “specialist – non-specialist” scheme (for example, “doctor – patient”). The smallest share is the layer of highly specialized, homeopathic terminology per se, verbalizing unique concepts created by homeopathy. The results of the study make it possible to enrich the knowledge of the relationship between universal and specific categories in professional sublanguages and the relationship between the means of verbalization of the corresponding concepts.

The conceptual dyad “Life - Death” in the Russian linguistic picture of the world is analyzed. The relevance of the research is conditioned by the existential significance of the studied phenomenon in the axiological field of the Russian linguistic picture of the world. The aim of the study is to conduct corpus analysis of the conceptual dyad “Life” and “Death”. The research material includes 70 poetic units containing the nuclear lexemes “Life” and “Death” in the Russian National Corpus. The poetic units are semantically complete contexts of poems by Russian poets (M. Tsvetaeva, M. Voloshin, S. Esenin, Z. Gippius, etc.). Descriptive method, conceptual analysis, method of linguistic-cultural commentary, contextual analysis, corpus method were applied. It was concluded that the concepts “Life - Death” reconstruct the dominant features of the Russian linguistic picture of the world, which is characterized not only by qualitative heterogeneity, but also by a certain bipolarity in the subject's behavior (agenticity vs passivity, providentiality vs activity, etc.). Such semantic parameters of the concepts “Life” and “Death” were established as transience and uncontrollability of life; life as an element, where a person is not an active subject, but an object for external forces; transience of life and its unpredictability; belief in life after death; death as a transition to otherness. The explanatory context for adequate commenting of conceptual meanings is formed.

Socio-economic changes, reforms of the pension system have transformed the perception of old age by Russian language native speakers. The authors deal with the dynamics of the semantic volume of the lexeme ‘pensioner’, caused by the above-mentioned extra-linguistic factors. The aim of the study is to describe the semantic transformation of the lexeme ‘pensioner’ representing the concepts ‘pensioner’, ‘pension’ and ‘old age’. The material of the research was the data of the National Corpus of the Russian Language for the period from 1995 to 2021, lexicographic sources, data of the associative experiment, which identified the conceptual, value-oriented and image-bearing components of the concepts ‘pensioner’, ‘pension’ and ‘old age’. The method of analysis and generalization of linguistic material from lexicographic sources, associative experiment, and the method of component analysis were used. The analysis of verbal elements reflecting cultural, traditional and value representations of Russian language speakers presented the dynamics of the semantics of the lexeme ‘pensioner’, its semantic transformation, which reflects changes in the Russian linguistic world picture. Semantic merisms identified as a result of contrastive analysis of potential associations allowed to present the semantic volume of the word considering the extra-linguistic data. As a result, the data were obtained, which can be used in lexicographic sources when defining the lexeme ‘pensioner’. Theoretical and practical approaches to modeling of Russian linguistic-cultural concepts are generalized. This reveals cultural and moral dominants of Russian language speakers and sacred meanings of the Russian culture.

The essence of the conceptual and figurative concept in linguistic and literary approach is studied. The conceptual-figurative concept is one of the units that fill the figurative-semantic system of the author. Its function in an autobiographical work is considered as a way of transmitting the author's consciousness, which is an organizing center that has a multi-level structure and a complex content of an artistic work. The role of the conceptual and figurative concept in the formation of the semantic center of the work is determined. The conceptual-figurative concept in an artistic autobiographical text is understood as a verbalized value-significant mental unit of an individual author's picture of the world. The unit under study is considered from two points of view: as a generally accepted knowledge and as a reflection of the author's subjective experience of experiencing reality.

Implementing the IIoT concept in industry involves the development and implementation of online systems monitoring the technical state of electromechanical equipment. This is achieved through the use of digital twins and digital shadows (object state observers). The tasks of mastering new rolling profiles and optimizing plate mill rolling programs require improved methods for calculating equivalent motor currents and torques. Known methods are generally based on calculations using smoothed load diagrams, which are assumed to be identical for the upper and lower main drive (UMD and LMD) rolls. These methods do not consider the differences in actual loads (currents or torques) in steady rolling states. Experiments performed on the 5000 plate mill have shown that due to speed mismatches, the UMD and LMD torques differ three times or more. This causes overheating of the more heavily loaded motor, insulation life reduction, and premature failure. Therefore, the problem of developing and implementing techniques for monitoring the load and thermal regimes of motors using digital observers is relevant. The paper's contribution is the first justification of the concept of object-oriented digital shadows. They are developed for specific classes of industrial units using open-source software. This research justifies a methodology for assessing motor load and temperature by processing arrays of motor currents or torques generated during rolling. An equivalent load observer and a temperature observer were proposed and implemented using Matlab-Simulink resources. The algorithm was implemented on the mill 5000 and tuned using an earlier-developed virtual commissioning methodology with digital twins. Thermal regimes were studied, proving that torque alignment ensures equal motor temperatures. The proposed considerations contribute to the development of the theory and practice for creating digital systems to monitor the technical condition of electromechanical and mechatronic systems and implementing the Industry 4.0 concept at industrial enterprises. The concept of multiple worlds in literary texts is a fascinating area of linguistic research, interwoven with questions of linguistic identity, national identity, culture, and mentality. This study aims to delineate the content, structure, and linguistic features of the expression of multiple worlds in literary texts. The term "literary multiverse" is introduced to more accurately conceptualize the idea of multiple worlds. The research identifies several distinct worlds within a literary work, including the author's world, the character's world, the recipient's world, the immediate world, and the unreal world. The characteristics of each of these worlds are defined, and a methodology for analyzing them is proposed. This study contributes to the field of linguistics by providing a comprehensive framework for understanding and analyzing the concept of multiple worlds in literary texts. It also offers insights into the linguistic and cognitive mechanisms involved in the creation and interpretation of these worlds. The primary research methods include textual analysis, symbolic interpretation, and the study of cognitive processes related to the perception of literature. The results of this study provide a framework for understanding the concept of a literary multiverse, proposing that an author's work consists of multiple distinct worlds. Each of these worlds has its own unique characteristics and requires a tailored methodology for analysis. The study highlights the importance of considering both internal and external references within a literary text, emphasizing the active role of the reader in interpreting and reshaping the fictional world. The article deals with the issues of understanding the terms of business tourism in lexical cognition, the largest type of linguistics, and their comparative lingio-semantic analysis. The semantic aspect of understanding the terms of business tourism and complete exploration the field, the linguistic study of business tourism terms from the world experience is also an important step in the development of the industry and models of tourism language and language learning are presented. The purpose of this article is to present about the strategic importance of business tourism in the Central Region of Uzbekistan (territory encompassing the cities of Andizhan and Honobod), where the presence of a qualified and diverse tourism offer combined with the existence of varied venues and quality accommodation can contribute to provide a valued tourism experience associated with the meetings Industry. This study allows a reflection on the potential of business tourism in territories where this sector is not always given due attention by local, regional and national tourism bodies. The results show that stakeholders identify business tourism as a strategic product that should be developed, and indicate some development strategies to be considered in this territory. Additionally, it sheds light on the comparative linguistic semantic aspects of business tourism terminology based on a statistical approach. The aim of this paper is to explore the theme of compassion in the short stories of Manoj Das, one of India's renowned literary figures. The short stories of Manoj Das are highly appreciated for several typical attributes in them, and the portrayal of the theme of compassion is one of them. Manoj Das is unquestioningly an untiring advocate of the ethical reform of society. Human lives in general become meaningful through the adoption of empathy, kindness, and compassion. The characters in Das's selected short stories, in particular, are no exception to this. The characters in Das's short stories exhibit their sense of compassion with kind deeds and words. Through an analytical study of his selected works, it is evident that Das depicts compassion as a force that influences his narrative dynamics. Through a careful literature review, it is discovered that this invaluable aspect of the short stories of Manoj Das has not been studied. Keeping the gradual decay of the ethical sense, i.e., compassion, in the present world and keeping the significance of the concept of compassion in view, the study of this aspect is the need of the hour for creating a sane society. Destructive testing methods, such as Vickers hardness test or hole drilling methods for residual stress evaluation have long been conventional approaches in manufacturing to investigate surface integrity and are widely being used in industry to date. However, their limitations in terms of material damage and high costs have spurred the exploration of non-destructive testing alternatives like Barkhausen noise analysis. So far almost exclusively data-driven and empirical models have been used to employ Barkhausen noise analysis as a non-destructive testing method in manufacturing. These models provide valid predictions for the manufacturing process and the specific material studied. However, they lack the capability to be generalized to other process conditions and materials. Physics-based models on the other hand provide the generalizability needed for widespread industrial applications. This strength turns out to be a weakness when trying to extract residual stress or microstructural properties from these models. The goal of this paper is, to provide an overview of published data-driven models in literature with thematic relevance to manufacturing processes and to propose a new, generalizable model. In the Critique of Pure Reason Immanuel Kant said that cognition (objective perception) is acquired in the unity of sensibility (the receptivity of the mind to receive empirical representations of things, which yields intuitions) and the understanding (in which concepts - general representations of things - arise) and is mediated by the imagination. Here, it is shown that numbers, either pure or denominate, are cognized in the synthesis of intuition and mathematical concept, and that the phenomenal world of the cognizer is shaped accordingly. Any number can be related to any other number through a general mathematical formula conceived by the cognizer for the purpose. The judgment of the cognizer is manifest in the specifics of the mathematical relationship established between the two numbers in cognition. If the cognized number is the numerical value of a physical constant, then in the (consistent) phenomenal world it will always have been of the value found in cognition, which explains why the universe seems to be fine-tuned for life. If the cognized number is the numerical value of a physical variable, then the number will be subject to change in accordance with physical laws. Symmetry is a recurrent feature of the phenomenology. A mathematical formula conceived by the cognizer may also relate, one to one, the numerical values of quantities in one set with the numerical values of quantities of different dimensionality in another set, which suggests that physical laws are human inventions and that causality is a pure concept of the understanding. I argue in the essay that the conceptualist understanding of the mind-world relation ultimately leads to the kind of view that Panayot Butchvarov calls conceptual or linguistic creationism. According to this view, "there is nothing we have not conceptualized". In addition to being an antithesis of metaphysical realism, which maintains that there is a reality independent of us, the term refers to the kind of thinking that sees human cognitive experience (and reality itself) as thoroughly constituted according to our concepts. While it might be easy to attribute this kind of position to Kant as well, especially when read through a conceptualist lens, I argue that such a position is not in accord with Kant's philosophical intentions. Using the Deduction and Schematism chapters of the Critique of Pure Reason as examples, I also argue that on the conceptualist understanding of the mindworld relation too much is read into Kant's idea that sensibility and understanding must be cognitively compatible with one another. The subjects of the research were authentic utterances of 5-6-year-old children. They represented individual conceptions of concepts of the pre-primary curriculum - symbols of Slovak statehood (capital, anthem, president, state, state flag, state emblem) in a narrower or broader context. The aim of the research was to find out the content meanings of narrower and broader conceptions of concepts in 5-6-yearold children, which are the content of the state curriculum. We hypothesized that at the children's exit from pre-primary education, their conceptions of concepts are more similar to scientific concepts. The study answers two research questions: do children's narrower and broader conceptions of concepts confirm theory? Which are the exceptional, non-repetitive children's conceptions of concepts? The research strategy was qualitative. Children's authentic utterances enabled short individual interviews to be obtained. Children's utterances were analyzed, categorized, and interpreted. Narrower conceptions are associated with a pre-scientific conception or a naive conception (45%). A broader context of conceptions emerged for 42% of the children in the research set. 13% of the statements were categorized as "don't know" responses. Exceptional conceptions of the symbols of Slovak statehood result from children's experiences in everyday life. If children perceived them in different contexts, they explained them by some features of objective reality. These concepts are still abstract for children at this age. According to the findings, it is questionable whether teaching children about symbols of statehood is meaningful in kindergarten when children's narrower conceptions of the concepts prevail at the exit. The conception drawing in architecture is that allows to initiate the architectural thinking, visualizing, and discovering the first ideas. This drawing has traditionally been given as an act of linking and collaboration between thought, sight, and the movement of the hands with a tool. Identifying and recognizing its characteristics will make it possible to deal with any mediation of information technologies. To establish such characteristics, three case studies were carried out. An analysis was made of the conception drawings and interviews by the Pritzker Prize laureates: Ando, Hadid and Gehry. One condition and four characteristics have been determined: drawing is a phenomenological action that produces haptic drawings; it is an undecided process that originates unformed drawings; it is a fast action that results in small and multiplied drawings; it is a perceptual act that generates redrawn and remarked drawings; and finally, it is an action that seeks to remember to resume the creative process at another moment, which produces rudimentary conventional drawings. Knowing these before any technological mediation will be an important pedagogical contribution that will allow future architects not to alter the cognitive processes that generate the first ideas in the initial moments of the architectural project.
