BackgroundOptimizing the diagnosis and treatment of hematological diseases is a challenging yet crucial research area. Effective treatment plans typically require the comprehensive integration of cell morphology, immunology, cytogenetics, and molecular biology. These plans also consider patient-specific factors such as disease stage, age, and genetic mutation status. With the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), more “AI + medical” application models are emerging. In clinical practice, many AI-assisted systems have been successfully applied to the diagnosis and treatment of hematological diseases, enhancing precision and efficiency and offering valuable solutions for clinical practice.ObjectiveThis study summarizes the research progress of various AI-assisted systems applied in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of hematological diseases, with a focus on their application in morphology, immunology, cytogenetics, and molecular biology diagnosis, as well as prognosis prediction and treatment.MethodsUsing PubMed, Web of Science, and other network search engines, we conducted a literature search on studies from the past 5 years using the main keywords “artificial intelligence” and “hematological diseases.” We classified the clinical applications of AI systems according to the diagnosis and treatment. We outline and summarize the current advancements in AI for optimizing the diagnosis and treatment of hematological diseases, as well as the difficulties and challenges in promoting the standardization of clinical diagnosis and treatment in this field.ResultsAI can significantly shorten turnaround times, reduce diagnostic costs, and accurately predict disease outcomes through applications in image-recognition technology, genomic data analysis, data mining, pattern recognition, and personalized medicine. However, several challenges remain, including the lack of AI product standards, standardized data, medical–industrial collaboration, and the complexity and non-interpretability of AI systems. In addition, regulatory gaps can lead to data privacy issues. Therefore, more research and improvements are needed to fully leverage the potential of AI to promote standardization of the clinical diagnosis and treatment of hematological diseases.ConclusionOur results serve as a reference point for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of hematological diseases and the development of AI-assisted clinical diagnosis and treatment systems. We offer suggestions for further development of AI in hematology and standardization of clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Adverse events of atrial fibrillation (AF) have been commonly reported in lymphoma patients in treating Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibitors (BTKi). The incidence rate of AF can vary depending on the specific types of BTKi and the patient population. Totally 45 published studies have revealed that the overall incidence rate of AF is 5% (95% CI 4%–7%). By performing a subtype single-rate analysis, the second-generation BTKi shows a lower AF incidence rate and lower cardiovascular toxicity. In the subtype single-rate analysis, we conclude the different AF incidence rates of Ibrutinib (10%, 95% CI 7%–13%), Acalabrutinib (4%, 95% CI 1%–6%), Orelabrutinib (0%, 95% CI 0%–1%), and Zanubrutinib (0%, 95% CI 0%–1%). The comprehensive analysis of AF inspires us to better predict and manage AF and other cardiovascular events in treating lymphoma. Meticulous evaluation, collaboration between cardiologists and hematologists, and discovery of new biomarkers are essential for its management.

This paper summarized the postoperative nursing of a patient undergoing surgery for lumbar disc herniation. Based on the comprehensive nursing assessment and analysis of key nursing issues, targeted nursing interventions including pain control, dietary guidance, catheter maintenance, postoperative functional exercise and prevention of complications were carried out to improve the recovery of the patient. Abstract Spatial transcriptomics technologies developed in recent years can provide various information including tissue heterogeneity, which is fundamental in biological and medical research, and have been making significant breakthroughs. Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) cannot provide spatial information, while spatial transcriptomics technologies allow gene expression information to be obtained from intact tissue sections in the original physiological context at a spatial resolution. Various biological insights can be generated into tissue architecture and further the elucidation of the interaction between cells and the microenvironment. Thus, we can gain a general understanding of histogenesis processes and disease pathogenesis, etc. Furthermore, in silico methods involving the widely distributed R and Python packages for data analysis play essential roles in deriving indispensable bioinformation and eliminating technological limitations. In this review, we summarize available technologies of spatial transcriptomics, probe into several applications, discuss the computational strategies and raise future perspectives, highlighting the developmental potential.

This paper summarized the postoperative nursing measures for a patient with cervical spondylotic myelopathy. Based on the postoperative nursing assessment, interventions such as pain control, gastrointestinal function care, airway management were carried out. Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques including intradermal needling, auricular acupoint pressing, Chinese herbal medicine hot-compress, external application and fumigation were conducted under the guidance of syndrome differentiation. The nursing of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine is effective to relieve the pain, improve the gastrointestinal function and prevent the postoperative complications. This paper summarized the nursing measures for a patient with intertrochanteric fracture of the right femur. According to the patient's situation, appropriate Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing technology such as auricular point sticking, intradermal acupuncture, acupoint sticking were carried out to relieve the postoperative pain and constipation and improve the recovery of the patient. This paper summarized the postoperative nursing management of a child with spastic cerebral palsy. The child received selective posterior rhizotomy followed by preoperative examination and preparation. In addition to the interventions on postoperative pain, constipation and infection, a rehabilitation exercise program was carried out to improve the comprehensive recovery of the child after surgery. [Purpose/Significance] Gradient theory reveals the causes and evolutionary trends of the uneven development of networks. As one of the most promising urban agglomerations in China, the middle reaches of Yangtze River urban agglomeration is the most representative national central urban agglomeration, which plays a key role in supporting the construction of central rising strategy. Therefore, it has become an important proposition of increasing concern for researchers and policy makers in the management field to study the technology innovation cooperation network in the middle reaches of Yangtze River urban agglomeration, in order to strengthen the innovation cooperation among cities and accelerate the construction of innovative cities and coordinated regional development. [Method/Process] Based on the perspective of gradient theory, this paper explores the structure and evolution of technology innovation cooperation networks in the middle reaches of Yangtze River urban agglomeration at the level of internal dynamics with the help of two important conditions that need to be met by high-gradient cities, evolving city structure stratification from core-edge structure and city role positioning from structural holes and intermediaries. [Results/Conclusions] It is found that the technology gradient in the middle reaches of Yangtze River urban agglomeration is mainly manifested by the polarization effect, and the technology gap between cities is widened. Due to the small number of high-gradient cities, they have not been able to form a driving scale benefit, and the overall regional technology innovation performance is not strong. This paper can provide useful references for the synergistic development of the middle reaches of Yangtze River urban agglomeration from the aspect of technology innovation cooperation.

The results of traditional vegetation-measuring methods are mostly two-dimensional data, which can only convey limited information. The greening situation of many cities or regions in the world cannot be fully assessed by these results. In this regard, this paper proposes the use of the air–ground integrated point cloud data acquisition mode for measuring vegetation. This mode combines a backpack-mounted laser scanning system, a vehicle-mounted laser scanning system, and UAV tilt photography technology to collect greening data in a comprehensive park and along a municipal road in Guangzhou, China. To classify the collected greening data, we propose the BiFPN-KPointNet-CBAM model, which was derived from PointNet. The model was introduced to analyze the distribution of green plants in study areas. The experimental findings indicate that our model achieved a notable enhancement in the overall accuracy by approximately 8% compared with other state-of-the-art models. Compared with the traditional greening survey method, this method obtained three-dimensional and more accurate greening data, and thus, provides higher quality greening data for urban managers. Background: T cell lymphoma is a complex and highly aggressive clinicopathological entity with a poor outcome. The angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) tumor immune microenvironment is poorly investigated. Methods: Here, to the best of our knowledge, spatial transcriptomics was applied for the first time to study AITL. Results: Using this method, we observed that AITL was surrounded by cells bearing immune-suppressive markers. CCL17 and CCL22, the dominant ligands for CCR4, were up-regulated, while the expression of natural killer (NK) cell and CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) markers decreased. Colocalization of Treg cells with the CD4+ TFH-GC region was also deduced from the bioinformatic analysis. The results obtained with spatial transcriptomics confirm that AITL has a suppressive immune environment. Chemotherapy based on the CHOP regimen (cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine plus prednisone) induced complete remission (CR) in this AITL patient. However, the duration of remission (DoR) remains a concern. Conclusions: This study demonstrates that AITL has an immune suppressive environment and suggests that anti-CCR4 therapy could be a promising treatment for this lethal disease.

Sodium tanshinone IIA sulphate (STS) is a product originated from Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge [Lamiaceae], which exerts an antitumour effect. However, the role of STS on lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) remains unexplored. Our study explores the effect and mechanism of STS against LUAD. LUAD cells were treated with 100 μM STS for 24 h and control group cells were cultured under normal medium conditions. Functionally, the viability, migration, invasion and angiogenesis of LUAD cells were examined by MTT, wound healing, transwell and tube formation assay, respectively. Moreover, cells were transvected with different transfection plasmids. Dual luciferase reporter and RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) assays were used to verify the relationship between miR-874 and eEF-2K. STS significantly decreased the viability (40–50% reduction), migration (migration rate of A549 cells from 0.67 to 0.28, H1299 cells from 0.71 to 0.41), invasion (invasion numbers of A549 cells from 172 to 55, H1299 cells from 188 to 35) and angiogenesis (80-90% reduction) of LUAD cells. Downregulation of miR-874 partially abolished the antitumour effect of STS. EEF-2K was identified to be the target of miR-874, and its downregulation markedly abolished the effects of miR-874 downregulation on tumourigenesis of LUAD. Moreover, silencing of TG2 abrogated eEF-2K-induced progression of LUAD. STS attenuated the tumourigenesis of LUAD through the mediation of the miR-874/eEF-2K/TG2 axis. STS is a promising drug to fight against lung cancer, which might effectively reverse drug resistance when combined with classical anticancer drugs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Lung cancer (LCa), the most frequent malignancy worldwide, causes millions of mortalities each year. Overexpression of the long noncoding RNA MIR210HG in LCa has been established; however, a more comprehensive investigation into its biological role within LCa is imperative. This study aimed to validate the MIR210H levels in LCa tissues and cells. The expression of indicated genes was evaluated using quantitative real‐time polymerase chain reaction (qRT‐PCR) and/or Western blotting. The viability, proliferation, migration, and invasion of LCa cells were measured using the 3‐(4,5‐Dimethylthiazol‐2‐yl)‐2,5‐diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT), colony formation, wound healing, and transwell assays, respectively. The methylation levels of LCa cells were determined via methylation‐specific PCR; additionally, chromatin immunoprecipitation or RNA immunoprecipitation assays were performed to determine the targeting relationship between DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1) and the SH3‐domain containing CRB2 like 3 (SH3GL3) promoters and the interaction between DNMT1 and MIR210HG, respectively. Our findings revealed the upregulation of MIR210HG, coupled with a diminished expression of SH3GL3 in LCa tissues and cells. Knockdown of MIR210HG or overexpression of SH3GL3 suppressed the proliferative, migratory, and invasive capacities of the cells. DNMT1 bound to the SH3GL3 promoter region, and MIR210HG inhibited the transcription of SH3GL3 by recruiting DNMT1. These findings indicate that MIR210HG facilitates LCa cell growth and metastasis by repressing SH3GL3 transcription via the recruitment of DNMT1 to the SH3GL3 promoter region. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper studies the network structure of geographical indication agricultural products in the field of e-commerce in Sichuan Province, and discusses the joint mechanism of geographical indication brands based on network structure. Taking the geographical indication products as the node, the consumer’s purchase behavior is the connection relationship, and the network structure of the geographical indication products is analyzed from the perspective of consumer behavior, and then the regional brand creation is based on this.This paper constructed a product——product network——brand alliance——regional brand geographical indication agricultural product regional brand creation path. The paper focuses on the resource dependent brand joint behavior based on individual interests, and the joint behavior of geographically dependent brands based on the perspective of regional interests. When the brand joint starting point is based on individual interests, it will tend to choose resource-based agricultural product brands that have strong commodity-related strength and can bring the greatest consumer transformation to themselves; when the brand joint starting point is to promote the regional-based regional economy, it will tend to start from the cluster-based brand alliance, emphasizing the development of a good geographical indication agricultural product brand to promote the development of a geographically-improved GI brand.

Binge eating afflicts approximately 5% of US adults, though effective treatments are limited. Here, we showed that estrogen replacement substantially suppresses binge-like eating behavior in ovariectomized female mice. Estrogen-dependent inhibition of binge-like eating was blocked in female mice specifically lacking estrogen receptor- α (ERα) in serotonin (5-HT) neurons in the dorsal raphe nuclei (DRN). Administration of a recently developed glucagon-like peptide-1-estrogen (GLP-1-estrogen) conjugate designed to deliver estrogen to GLP1 receptor- enhanced regions effectively targeted bioactive estrogens to the DRN and substantially suppressed binge-like eating in ovariectomized female mice. Administration of GLP-1 alone reduced binge-like eating, but not to the same extent as the GLP-1-estrogen conjugate. Administration of ERα-selective agonist propylpyrazole triol (PPT) to murine DRN 5-HT neurons activated these neurons in an ERα-dependent manner. PPT also inhibited a small conductance [Ca.sup.2+]-activated [K.sup.+](SK) current; blockade of the SK current prevented PPT-induced activation of DRN 5-HT neurons. Furthermore, local inhibition of the SK current in the DRN markedly suppressed binge-like eating in female mice.
