The innovative application of virtual reality technology in advertising design greatly promotes the development of advertising design work in the media field and also provides a new guiding direction for art creation in advertising design. After analyzing the advantages and performance of VR technology applied in advertising design, the article elaborates on the use of art creation rules and related skills in advertising design. To facilitate the guidance of art creation in advertising design within a virtual reality environment, this paper employs chunked feature-matching technology to visually process print advertisement images, thereby providing an interactive design process for advertisements in virtual reality. Then, using a reinforcement learning algorithm as a framework, we combine the DDPG strategy with a neural renderer to construct a virtual reality advertisement design art creation style migration model and conduct design experiments to verify its effectiveness. Finally, we conduct an experience evaluation analysis for the design of virtual reality advertisements. The model in this paper converges after 225 epochs, at which time the loss value is 17.09% lower than that of the CycleGAN model; the mean value of the advertisement image style migration score is 4.08; and the mean value of the comprehensive score of the on-campus test for virtual reality advertisement design is 8.12. Reinforcement learning not only facilitates the art creation guidance of advertisement design in a virtual reality environment but also enhances the user’s understanding of the advertisement design content, thereby laying the foundation for improving the communication effect of virtual advertisements.

This paper proposes an innovative design education model that effectively combines learning science theory, new technology, and new media to address the problems of serious homogenisation and disconnection from social requirements in design education. The model is based on the Chinese context, in accordance with the three principles of innovative design education summarized in Tim Brown’s design thinking, and utilizing the learning science theory, new technology, and new media. Analyzing the relationship between learning science theory, new technology, and new media, providing a reference for the full application of new technology and new media in Chinese modern design education, and promoting the application of learning science theory in Chinese modern design education constitute the construction of the model.

Aims Haemodynamic forces (HDFs) provided a feasible method to early detect cardiac mechanical abnormalities by estimating the intraventricular pressure gradients. The novel advances in assessment of HDFs using routine cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) cines shed new light on detection of preclinical dysfunction. However, definition of normal values for this new technique is the prerequisite for application in the clinic. Methods and results A total of 218 healthy volunteers [38.1 years ± 11.1; 111 male (50.9%)] were recruited and underwent CMR examinations with a 3.0T scanner. Balanced steady state free precession breath hold cine images were acquired, and HDF assessments were performed based on strain analysis. The normal values of longitudinal and transversal HDF strength [root mean square (RMS)] and ratio of transversal to longitudinal HDF were all evaluated in overall population as well as in both genders and in age-specific groups. The longitudinal RMS values (%) of HDFs were significantly higher in women (P < 0.05). Moreover, the HDF amplitudes significantly decreased with ageing in entire heartbeat, systole, diastole, systolic/diastolic transition, and diastolic deceleration, while increased in atrial thrust. In multivariable linear regression analysis, age, heart rate, and global longitudinal strain emerged as independent predictors of the amplitudes of longitudinal HDFs in entire heartbeat and systole, while left ventricular end-diastole volume index was also independently associated with longitudinal HDFs in diastole and diastolic deceleration (P < 0.05 for all). Conclusion Our study provided comprehensive normal values of HDF assessments using CMR as well as presented with specific age and sex stratification. Due to the increasing demand for electrification in the automotive sector, the interest in the manufacturing and processing of pure Copper (Cu; purity 99.99%) is also increasing. Laser-based technologies have proven to be challenging due to Cu's high optical reflectivity. Processing pure Cu with Electron Beam Melting (EBM) is a promising manufacturing route, allowing for high design freedom. The highest priority is to achieve outstanding thermal and electric conductivity in manufactured Cu components. Chemical contamination or manufacturing defects, such as porosity, significantly reduce the thermal and electric conductivity. The literature on post-processing (thermal and abrasive) of additively manufactured Cu is scarce. Therefore, this study discusses the correlation between as built and heat treated microstructure, as well as surface roughness on the EBM electric conductivity. EBSD analysis is performed to analyze the effect of microstructure on electric conductivity. The effect of sandblasting and vibratory finishing on surface roughness and electric conductivity is investigated. Additionally, the samples are mechanically tested in terms of hardness. Purpose To describe the clinical presentation, comprehensive cardiac MRI characteristics, and prognosis of individuals with predisposed heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Materials and Methods This prospective cohort study (part of MISSION-HFpEF [Multimodality Imaging in the Screening, Diagnosis, and Risk Stratification of HFpEF]; NCT04603404) was conducted from January 1, 2019, to September 30, 2021, and included individuals with suspected HFpEF who underwent cardiac MRI. Participants who had primary cardiomyopathy and primary valvular heart disease were excluded. Participants were split into a predisposed HFpEF group, defined as HFpEF with normal natriuretic peptide levels based on an HFA-PEFF (Heart Failure Association Pretest Assessment, Echocardiography and Natriuretic Peptide, Functional Testing, and Final Etiology) score of 4 from the latest European Society of Cardiology guidelines, and an HFpEF group (HFA-PEFF score of ≥ 5). An asymptomatic control group without heart failure was also included. Clinical and cardiac MRI-based characteristics and outcomes were compared between groups. The primary end points were death, heart failure hospitalization, or stroke. Results A total of 213 participants with HFpEF, 151 participants with predisposed HFpEF, and 100 participants in the control group were analyzed. Compared with the control group, participants with predisposed HFpEF had worse left ventricular remodeling and function and higher systemic inflammation. Compared with participants with HFpEF, those with predisposed HFpEF, whether obese or not, were younger and had higher plasma volume, lower prevalence of atrial fibrillation, lower left atrial volume index, and less impaired left ventricular global longitudinal strain (-12.2% ± 2.8 vs -13.9% ± 3.1; P < .001) and early-diastolic global longitudinal strain rate (eGLSR, 0.52/sec ± 0.20 vs 0.57/sec ± 0.15; P = .03) but similar prognosis. Atrial fibrillation occurrence (hazard ratio [HR] = 3.90; P = .009), hemoglobin level (HR = 0.94; P = .001), and eGLSR (per 0.2-per-second increase, HR = 0.28; P = .002) were independently associated with occurrence of primary end points in participants with predisposed HFpEF. Conclusion Participants with predisposed HFpEF showed relatively unique clinical and cardiac MRI features, warranting greater clinical attention. eGLSR should be considered as a prognostic factor in participants with predisposed HFpEF. Background: The pathophysiology and subsequent myocardial dysfunction of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) with comorbid obesity has not been extensively described. This study aimed to investigate the clinical features and cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) derived myocardial strain and tissue characteristics in patients with HFpEF and comorbid obesity phenotype., Methods: In this prospective cohort study, we included consecutive patients admitted to Fuwai hospital in China who underwent CMR. Patients with HFpEF or obesity were diagnosed with demographic data, clinical presentation, laboratory test, and echocardiography or CMR imaging. The key exclusion criteria were cardiomyopathy, primary valvular heart disease, and significant coronary artery disease. Participant data were obtained from the electronic medical records database or inquiry. Comparisons of clinical features and CMR derived structural and functional parameters amongst different groups were made using one-way analysis of variance, or χ 2 tests, and post hoc Bonferroni analysis where appropriate., Findings: Between January 1, 2019 and July 31, 2021, 280 participants (108 patients with HFpEF and obesity, 50 patients with HFpEF and normal weight, 72 patients with obesity, and 50 healthy controls) were enrolled. Compared with patients with HFpEF and normal weight, patients with HFpEF and obesity were younger males, and had higher plasma volume, uric acid and hemoglobin levels, yet less often atrial fibrillation, and lower NT-proBNP levels, and had higher left ventricular mass index, end-diastole/systole volume index, lower left atrial volume index, and worse myocardial strains (all p ≤ 0.05), but no remarkable difference in late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) presence and extracellular volume fraction (ECV). After adjusting for age, atrial fibrillation, and coronary artery disease, only global longitudinal strain (GLS, p = 0.031) and early-diastolic global longitudinal strain rate (eGLSR, p = 0.043) were considerably worse in patients with HFpEF and obesity versus patients with HFpEF and normal weight. Furthermore, early-diastolic strain rates showed no linear association with ECV in patients with HFpEF and obesity.
