INTRODUCTION: This study examined the prevalence and correlates of probable mental health disorders, including psychological distress, somatization, depression, anxiety, phobic anxiety (PHO), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and insomnia among Chinese primary health care (PHC) physicians and nurses amid the post-pandemic period in 2022. METHOD: Region-stratified sampling was conducted to recruit a national sample of 4,246 respondents from 31 July 2022 to 12 August 2022. A total of 692 primary healthcare institutions were identified in 30 provincial-level administrative regions of China. An online questionnaire was used for assessing probable mental health disorders using Symptoms Checklist-90-Revised (SCL-90-R) and PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5), and sleeping problems using Insomnia Severity Index (ISI). Data on demographics and work were also collected. Bivariate analysis and multiple logistic regression were conducted to identify significant correlates of probable mental health disorders. RESULTS: A total of 4,246 valid questionnaires were identified. Results showed that relative to the prevalence of probable mental health disorders among health care workers at the early stage of the pandemic in China, there was an overall decreased prevalence except for somatization, PHO, and OCD among the current PHC physicians and nurses. Multiple logistic regressions showed that significant risk factors of common probable mental health disorders, namely psychological distress, SOM, DEP, ANX, PHO, OCD, PTSD, and insomnia, were female gender, multimorbidity, history of psychiatric disorders, quarantine experience, never asking anyone for help, and overtime work. CONCLUSION: Attention should be given to preexisting psychiatric and multimorbid conditions, social support, and work-related stressors. Regular assessment and psychological interventions are needed to enhance the mental health of PHC professionals even after public health crisis.

Background The urban community health service centers in China have developed for nearly 20 years, but there is a lack of systematic research on their development, progress made, and existing problems. Objective To propose suggestions for the high-quality development of urban community health services centers in China by analyzing their development situation. Methods In October 2022, 50 community health service centers were selected from 13 provinces in the eastern, central and western regions by convenience sampling method. A self-developed research questionnaire based on the key core indicators for the assessment of urban community health services centers included two parts of basic data and evaluation content. Basic data included jurisdictional area, number of employees, number of outpatient visits, etc; the evaluation content included 4 gradeⅠindicators (institutional configuration, service function, service mode, and service support), 13 GradeⅡindicators and 33 GradeⅢindicators. The data of year 2006 (or the first year of the hospital's establishment and data) and 2021 were compared, and the survey results were reported in through "sojump". Results (1) Basic data: the number of community health service centers established before 2006 were 24 (accounting for 48.00%), and 26 after 2006 (accounting for 52.00%) ; comparing the year of 2006 or the first year of establishment, and the year of 2021, the number of employees was 67.00 (40.00, 101.00) and 94.00 (62.00, 162.00) respectively; the number of outpatient visits was 39 324.00 (22 620.00, 118 384.00) and 106 259.00 (44 999.00, 225 851.00) respectively; the total score of the questionnaire was 36.50 (28.13, 46.00) and 69.00 (56.38, 76.00), respectively. (2) The median scores of Grade I indicators institutional configuration, service mode and service function in 2021 were all higher than those in 2006 or the first year of establishment. The relative scoring rate of Grade I indicators in 2021, institutional configuration was 77.27% (25.50/33.00), service mode was 61.84% (23.50/38.00), service function was 76.92% (10.00/13.00), service support was 47.37% (9.00/19.00). The median score of structure area in the institutional configuration indicators was 0; among the service function indicators, the relative scoring rate of the diagnosis and treatment of common and chronic diseases in the community, and the inpatient service content were all 100.00%; the relative scoring rate of inpatient bed utilization rate was 25.00% (1.00/4.00). Background General practitioners (GPs) mainly provide basic medical and health services. The construction of GPs human resources is closely related to the development of primary care system. Objective To investigate the current status of psychological capital (PsyCap) , professional identity, and intention to stay of GPs in China and explore the relationship among the above three. Methods A total of 4 632 GPs were selected for electronic questionnaire investigation in the eastern, central, and western China from March to May in 2021 by using a multi-stage stratified random sampling. The questionnaire mainly included basic information, PsyCap, professional identity, and intention to stay. Pearson correlation analysis, hierarchical multiple regression analysis and structural equation model were used to explore the relationship among professional identity, PsyCap, and intention to stay. Results A total of 4 376 GPs were included with the effective response rate of 94.47%. The total scores of PsyCap, professional identity, and intention to stay were (102.89±16.94) , (33.93±8.95) , and (21.69±4.04) , respectively. Background Clinical practice guidelines in primary care are important tools to guide primary care practice, but they are found with relatively low quality and unstandardized reporting on the whole. Objective To develop the reporting guideline for clinical practice guidelines in primary care based on the Reporting Items for practice Guidelines in HealThcare (RIGHT) . Methods According to the reporting methods recommended by EQUATOR Network, an item development group and an expert consensus group were established to develop reporting guideline for clinical practice guidelines in primary care. Content analysis, brainstorming, and topic analysis were used in developing the initial items. The Delphi survey was conducted to determine the final items. Results Thirteen items (five were modified and eight were added) were developed initially, covering five domains: guideline title, health issues, intended setting, recommendations and suggestions for future research. Then the initial item checklist was revised to a final version consisting of 15 items according to the results of two rounds of Delphi survey (with 100% response rates from 22 experts) conducted from December 2 to December 26, 2022. Conclusion This reporting checklist will provide a detailed guide for developers of guidelines in primary care, which will further improve the reporting quality of guidelines in primary care, especially that of those in China.

Background Psychological capital (PsyCap) has a significant impact on individual attitude, behavior, and performance. Currently, studies on the level and associated factors of PsyCap among general practitioners (GPs) are limited. Objective To investigate the level of PsyCap and its associated factors among community GPs in China, providing evidence for human resource management in primary health care. Methods To conduct the questionnaire survey, 40 community health service institutions from their list of community health service institutions were randomly chosen, 4 632 GPs (40% of whom were on duty) were randomly selected from each community health service institution's duty roster on the day of the survey, and all five provinces (autonomous, municipalities) regions in the east, central, and west China were chosen by use of multi-stage stratified random sampling between March and May 2021. The questionnaire consisted of 3 sections: general information, workplace violence, and PsyCap, and statistical analysis was performed using general descriptive analysis, rank sum test, and generalized linear regression. Results A total of 4 376 community GPs were finally included as eligible respondents. The total median score and average total score of PsyCap were 104 (20) and 4.33 (0.83), higher than the theoretical median (3.50 points). Background Social environment and psychological factors have a notable impact on professional identity. Currently, there are no available studies on relationships between perception of workplace violence (WPV) by patients, psychological capital (PsyCap) , and professional identity among general practitioners (GPs) in China. Objective To investigate the relationships between perceived WPV by patients, PsyCap, and professional identity among GPs in China. Methods A self-administered electronic questionnaire survey was conducted with 4 632 GPs selected by use of stratified multistage random sampling from eastern, central, and western China between March and May 2021. The survey was used for collecting data mainly consisting of GPs' basic demographics, perceived WPV by patients, PsyCap, and professional identity. Spearman's correlation was used to analyze relationships between perceived WPV by patients, PsyCap, and professional identity. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the effects of perceived WPV by patients and PsyCap on professional identity. Results Altogether, 94.47% of the GPs (4 376/4 632) who handed in responsive questionnaires were included for analysis. Six hundred and twenty-four (14.26%) GPs had experienced WPV by patients in the past year.
