Countries (regions) size rating is based on various parameters: area, population, population density, economic development (GDP, GDP per capita etc.), natural resources, markets, etc. The most common rating is based on the area of the country (km2). The values defining at the transition between the levels (classes), has a large level of subjectivity present, and the classes are more often contradictory. Countries classification as 'Small', 'Medium' or 'Large' more often is subject for discussions and mutual disagreements. Fuzzy logic is a superset of conventional (Boolean) logic that has been extended to handle the concept of partial truth - truth values between 'completely true' and 'completely false'. As its name suggests, it is the logic underlying modes of reasoning which are approximate rather than exact. The importance of fuzzy logic derives from the fact that most modes of human reasoning and especially common sense reasoning are approximate in nature. This paper presents a model for size evaluation of countries (regions) using Fuzzy logic. Input and output variables are defined. Input variables are: area, population and population density of countries (regions) and the output variable is the size evaluation of the country (small, medium or large).

Rail-road transhipment yards serve as interchange points between rail and road providing transhipment of loading units. These yards are of great importance for smooth functioning not only of railways but also of the whole intermodal transportation chains. The problem of choosing location of railway facilities, such as yards and depots, has great practical importance and is widely considered in the literature. In this paper, we present a multi criteria decision making (MCMD) model for selecting the most suitable micro location of a rail-road transhipment yard. The developed MCMD model is based on combining a compromise programming technique with the theory of fuzzy numbers. This approach was chosen to solve the considered location problem due to the specific decision-making environment that reflects in the presence of non-commensurable and conflicting criteria. As a case study we analysed several alternatives for locating rail-road transhipment facilities in the area of the rail freight yard in Vršac. The results confirm validity and usefulness of this approach.

- Abstract
M2M (Machine-to-Machine) technologies provide a number of solutions in logistics and transport, such as fleet management solutions, asset tracking systems, parking space management and payment, road tolls, traffic volume monitoring, connected road signs, traffic lights and cameras, connected navigation, passenger services, etc. The data obtained is huge and need high performance to be usable. NoSQL data systems are the answer to it. When compared to relational databases, many NoSQL systems share several key characteristics including a more flexible data model, higher scalability, and a superior performance. Although there are dozens of NoSQL databases, they primarily fall into one of the following three categories: document databases, graph databases and databases based on key-value and wide column model. MongoDB is an open-source document database. In this paper the possibilities of using MongoDB databases in innovative applications of Big Data in the transportation industry will be explored.

- Abstract
Sistem PSO u suštini predstavlja model za finansiranje neprofitabilnih usluga prevoza za koje postoji opšti javni interes države, regiona ili lokalne zajednice (grada i opštine). Operateru se obezbjeđuje nadoknada za javni prevoz tako da ne smije da prelazi iznos koji odgovara neto finansijskom učinku jednakom zbiru efekata i troškova. Univerzalni i opšteprihvaćeni model za definisanje PSO na željeznici ne postoji pa su u radu definisani i vrednovani socijalni i kvalitativni kriterijumi za održavanje i unapređenje standarda kvaliteta obavljanja PSO, a razvijeni su modeli za utvrđivanje PSO u integrisanim sistemima javnog prevoza putnika, za utvrđivanje troškova operatera i fuzzy model za utvrđianje bilansa poslovanja operatera za prevoz putnika. Sami modeli su testirani da delu saobraćajne mreže u RS., The PSO system essentially represents a model for financing of nonprofit transport services of a general public interest of state, region or local community (town of municipality). An operator is provided with compensation for public transport service in the way that it not exceeds amount equal to net financial performance as a sum of effects and costs. Since universal and generally accepted model for defining of PSO in regard with railway system does not exists, in practice are defined and are being evaluated social and qualitative criteria for maintaining and improving of quality standards of PSO. There are also developed models for determination of PSO at integrated systems of public passenger transport, for operator costs determination and fuzzy model for determination of operator’s business balance in passenger transport. Models are tested at a part of railway network in RS.

У раду је дат нагласак на потенцијалне користи увођењем стратегије одржавања на основу стања возила. Истраживање је базирано на реалним мониторингу кола. Развијени су fuzzy модели за локацију мерних станица на мрежи и предикцију броја деформисаних точкова кола. Дефинисани су параметри за оцену стања склопова железничких возила. Извршено је дизајнирање оперативног центра са умреженим мерним станицама и дефинисана методологија управљања одржавањем железничких возила са предлогом новог модела организације одржавања возних средстава према стању., U radu je dat naglasak na potencijalne koristi uvođenjem strategije održavanja na osnovu stanja vozila. Istraživanje je bazirano na realnim monitoringu kola. Razvijeni su fuzzy modeli za lokaciju mernih stanica na mreži i predikciju broja deformisanih točkova kola. Definisani su parametri za ocenu stanja sklopova železničkih vozila. Izvršeno je dizajniranje operativnog centra sa umreženim mernim stanicama i definisana metodologija upravljanja održavanjem železničkih vozila sa predlogom novog modela organizacije održavanja voznih sredstava prema stanju., The paper gives emphasis to the potential benefits of the introduction of maintenance strategies based on the condition of the railway vehicle. The research is based on realistic monitoring circuits. They were developed fuzzy models for the location of measuring stations on the network and prediction of the number of deformed wheel car. Defined parameters for assessment of the state assemblies for vehicles. Executed designing operational center with networked measuring stations and the methodology for maintenance management of vehicles with the proposal of a new model of organization of maintenance of rolling stock according to the state.

Debalans rasta produktivnosti proizvodnih procesa i logističkog sistema je jedan od glavnih uzroka usporavanja celokupnog reproduktivnog procesa. Istraživanje transportnologističkog sistema sa tendencijom razvoja elemanta fleksibilnog skladišnog koncepa je multidisciplinarnog karaktera i fokusirano je na analizu procesa, funkcionalnih površina, layout-a i regalske opreme skladišta., Modern conditions of market economy requires a highly competitive goods in order to achieve maximum profit production company respectively distributors and gratification the needs of customers. Imbalance growth of productivity of production processes and logistics system is one of the main causes of slowing down the entire of reproductive process. The research of transport and logistics system with the tendency development of elements of flexible storage concept is multidisciplinary and focused on process analysis, functional area, layout and storage racks.

16. Metodologija za utvrđivanje optimalnog rešenja rasputnice

- Abstract
Simulaciono modeliranje je veoma efikasan alat za analiziranje složenih železničkih sistema kao što su sistemi saobraćaja vozova na rasputnici. Rasputnica je službeno mesto gde se sa otvorene pruge odvaja druga pruga. Model sistema rasputnice predstavlja procese kretanja vozova preko izolovanih odseka sistema rasputnica. Granice modela postavljaju se u stanicama koje okružuju rasputnicu. Model Petrijevih mreža sistema rasputnice razvijen je tako da je svaka vrsta odseka predstavljena modulom (podsistemom) u grafu Petrijevih mreža. Izrada modela sistema rasputnice vrši se povezivanjem modula odseka po planu odseka, a zatim i njihovim obeležavanjem i definisanjem. Ulazni podaci potrebni za izvršenje simulacije, definišu se u bazi podataka koja je povezana sa simulacionim programom. Ulazni podaci o primarnom kašnjenju vozova generišu se u posebnom modelu ili modulu fazi Petrijeve mreže. Modeli kašnjenja vozova zasnivaju se na tehnikama računarske inteligencije. U slučaju kada postoje statistički podaci o prethodnim kašnjenjima, za proračune kašnjenja koriste se modeli zasnovani na neuronskim mrežama ili adaptivni neuro-fazi modeli. Ovi modeli se obučavaju i verifikuju podacima koji dobijenim praćenjem kretanja vozova i iz dnevnika otpravnika vozova. Kada nisu dostupni podaci o kašnjenju vozova u prethodnom periodu, primenjuje se model zasnovan na fazi logici, gde se ekspertsko znanje o ponašanju sistema koristi za kreiranje modela. U toku izvršenja simulacije, podaci o kretanju voza i zauzetosti odseka snimaju se u unapred definisanu bazu podataka. Stanja odseka i kretanje vozova tokom simulacije može se pratiti pomoću animacije i grafikona saobraćaja vozova. Baza podataka u kojoj se nalaze rezultati simulacije prilagođena je za jednostavnu obradu podataka i analizu rezultata. Model je testiran na primeru rasputnice „G“ beogradskog železničkog čvora. Nakon izrade, validacije i verifikacije modela rasputnice „G“, analizirani su rezultati modela preko sekundarnih kašnjen, Simulation modelling is very efficient method for analysis of complex railway systems like railway junction system. Junction is a place on the track where another track diverges. Model of the junction system is comprised of the processes of train movement on insolated sections. Model boundaries are stations that are surrounding the junction system. Petri Net model of the junction system is defined as a model where all types of section blocks are denoted by a module or subsystem in the Petri Nets Graph. Building of the model is a process of connecting modules according to the junction section plan and then marking and defining them. Initial data for simulation is located in an external database connected to the simulation program. Input data on train primary delay is calculated either in separate model or in the fuzzy Petri net module. Models for calculating train primary delay are based on computational intelligence techniques. When there are historical data on train delays, primary delays are calculated by neural networks or adaptive neuro-fuzzy model. These models are trained and verified by data on previous train delays (from train detection systems or from dispatcher’s logs). When there are no data on previous delays in system, delays are calculated by a fuzzy logic model where experts’ knowledge on system behaviour is used to create a model. During simulation run data is exported to external predefined database. State of the sections and train movements are observed in animation window and in the trains’ time-distance graph. Database of simulation results is improved for data query and data analysis. Model is tested on a case study of junction “G” system located in Belgrade Railway Node. After model building, validation and verification of model, data results of simulation are analysed by secondary delays generated within the model. Simulaciono modeliranje je veoma efikasan alat za analiziranje složenih železničkih sistema kao što su sistemi saobraćaja vozova na rasputnici. Rasputnica je službeno mesto gde se sa otvorene pruge odvaja druga pruga. Model sistema rasputnice predstavlja procese kretanja vozova preko izolovanih odseka sistema rasputnica. Granice modela postavljaju se u stanicama koje okružuju rasputnicu. Model Petrijevih mreža sistema rasputnice razvijen je tako da je svaka vrsta odseka predstavljena modulom (podsistemom) u grafu Petrijevih mreža. Izrada modela sistema rasputnice vrši se povezivanjem modula odseka po planu odseka, a zatim i njihovim obeležavanjem i definisanjem. Ulazni podaci potrebni za izvršenje simulacije, definišu se u bazi podataka koja je povezana sa simulacionim programom. Ulazni podaci o primarnom kašnjenju vozova generišu se u posebnom modelu ili modulu fazi Petrijeve mreže. Modeli kašnjenja vozova zasnivaju se na tehnikama računarske inteligencije. U slučaju kada postoje statistički podaci o prethodnim kašnjenjima, za proračune kašnjenja koriste se modeli zasnovani na neuronskim mrežama ili adaptivni neuro-fazi modeli. Ovi modeli se obučavaju i verifikuju podacima koji dobijenim praćenjem kretanja vozova i iz dnevnika otpravnika vozova. Kada nisu dostupni podaci o kašnjenju vozova u prethodnom periodu, primenjuje se model zasnovan na fazi logici, gde se ekspertsko znanje o ponašanju sistema koristi za kreiranje modela. U toku izvršenja simulacije, podaci o kretanju voza i zauzetosti odseka snimaju se u unapred definisanu bazu podataka. Stanja odseka i kretanje vozova tokom simulacije može se pratiti pomoću animacije i grafikona saobraćaja vozova. Baza podataka u kojoj se nalaze rezultati simulacije prilagođena je za jednostavnu obradu podataka i analizu rezultata. Model je testiran na primeru rasputnice „G“ beogradskog železničkog čvora. Nakon izrade, validacije i verifikacije modela rasputnice „G“, analizirani su rezultati modela preko sekundarnih kašnjenja vozova nastalih u sistemu rasputnice. Takođe, upoređena su različita infrastrukturna rešenja rasputnice... Simulation modelling is very efficient method for analysis of complex railway systems like railway junction system. Junction is a place on the track where another track diverges. Model of the junction system is comprised of the processes of train movement on insolated sections. Model boundaries are stations that are surrounding the junction system. Petri Net model of the junction system is defined as a model where all types of section blocks are denoted by a module or subsystem in the Petri Nets Graph. Building of the model is a process of connecting modules according to the junction section plan and then marking and defining them. Initial data for simulation is located in an external database connected to the simulation program. Input data on train primary delay is calculated either in separate model or in the fuzzy Petri net module. Models for calculating train primary delay are based on computational intelligence techniques. When there are historical data on train delays, primary delays are calculated by neural networks or adaptive neuro-fuzzy model. These models are trained and verified by data on previous train delays (from train detection systems or from dispatcher’s logs). When there are no data on previous delays in system, delays are calculated by a fuzzy logic model where experts’ knowledge on system behaviour is used to create a model. During simulation run data is exported to external predefined database. State of the sections and train movements are observed in animation window and in the trains’ time-distance graph. Database of simulation results is improved for data query and data analysis. Model is tested on a case study of junction “G” system located in Belgrade Railway Node. After model building, validation and verification of model, data results of simulation are analysed by secondary delays generated within the model.
