Apostolska pobudnica pape Franje Evangelii gaudium zasigurno je jedan od dokumenata koji će obilježiti pontifikat sadašnjega Pape, ali koji će obilježiti i razdoblje života Crkve u kojemu živimo i djelujemo. U tom dokumentu ogledaju se potrebe i izazovi Crkve danas. Ovaj dokument cjelokupno crkveno djelovanje promatra kroz prizmu evangelizacije. U njemu se izdvajaju sve bitne sastavnice crkvenoga života i djelovanja, sastavnice u odnosu na koje se daju jasne smjernice s obzirom na preobrazbu nekih dosadašnjih modela pastorala, kao i na suočavanje s izazovima i problemima koje se jasno prepoznaje i naziva pravim imenom. U ovom radu pokušavamo prepoznati bitne točke u kojima se ogleda aktualnost ovoga dokumenta s obzirom na situaciju u našoj domovinskoj Crkvi. Tematici prilazimo s namjerom teološko-pastoralnoga raspoznavanja konkretnoga pastorala u svjetlu smjernica ovoga dokumenta. Pritom upućujemo na one sastavnice današnjega pastoralnoga 'izlaženja' Crkve prema periferijama ljudskih života koje su u tom pogledu osobito aktualne. Tri teme se u ovom smislu posebno proučavaju, a to su: župa, obitelj i homilija. Uza samu pobudnicu Evangelii gaudium kao teološko-pastoralni oslonac u sastavljanju ovoga rada poslužila su i djela nekih biskupa i teologa, a osobito onih koji Papino djelovanje poznaju i iz vremena prije nego što je postao papa, a neki od njih izbližega prate njegovo djelovanje i danas., The Apostolic Exhortation of Pope Francis Evangellii Gaudium is surely one of the documents that will mark the pontificate of the present Pope, but also mark this period in the life of the Church in which we live and work. The document reflects the needs and challenges of the Church today. It views the entire scope of Church activities through the prism of evangelization. It outlines all essential elements of Church's life and activities, the elements for which there are given clear guidelines with respect to the transformation of some existing models of pastoral care, as well as to meet the challenges and problems that are clearly identified and called by their proper name. In the paper, we try to identify the essential points that reflect the actuality of this document with respect to the situation in our domestic Church. We approach the subject with the intention of theological-pastoral discernment of concrete pastoral in the light of the guidelines of this document. Here we refer to those elements of the existing pastoral care where the Church 'goes forth' to the peripheries of human lives that are in this respect particularly present. To this end, three areas are studied in particular: the parish, the family and the homily. Besides the exhortation Evangelii Gaudium, this paper finds its theological-pastoral foothold in the works of some bishops and theologians, especially those who are familiar with Pope's actions from the time before he became Pope, and some of them monitor his activities more closely even today.

Sveučilišni pastoral predstavlja specifično područje djelovanja koje uključuje ostvarivanje poslanja Crkve u odnosu na sveučilišni ambijent, tj. u odnosu na profesore i drugo osoblje na sveučilištima, kao i u odnosu na studente. Kroz taj segment svojega djelovanja Crkva biva na osobit način povezana s jednim od temeljnih ishodišta znanosti i kulture društva. Upravo ta uloga sveučilište čini posebno aktualnim i zahtjevnim ambijentom poslanja. Stoga je važno uočiti temeljne odrednice sveučilišnog pastorala, kao i razraditi njegove bitne aktualne izazove i mogućnosti njegova unapređenja. Upravo to predstavlja predmet ovoga rada u kojemu se, koristeći metodu teološkopastoralnog raspoznavanja, ukazuje na bitne sastavnice sveučilišnog pastorala, kao i na perspektive njegova razvitka u aktualnoj crkvenoj praksi., Pastoral care in the universities is a specific area of activity involving the exercise of the Church’s mission in relation to the university environment, i.e. in relation to teachers and other university staff and in relation to students. Through this area of its activity the Church is connected in a special way with one of the fundamental sources of science and culture. Because of the key role of the universities, the mission of the Church there is particularly challenging and important. Therefore, it is essential to identify the basic terms of reference of pastoral care in the universities, and to identify what are currently the main challenges, as well as possibilities of improvement. This is precisely what the article sets out to do: through theological and pastoral discernment it identifies the essential elements of university pastoral care, as well as perspectives for its development in current church practice.

Ministerijalno svećeništvo i euharistija najtješnje su međusobno povezani. Svećeništvo se rađa zajedno s euharistijom. Euharistijskoga slavlja nema bez svećenika. U današnjem kulturalnom, ali sve češće i pastoralnom kontekstu nerijetko se gubi osjećaj izvorišnog i središnjeg značenja euharistijskoga slavlja za kršćanski život. Niti sam svećenik nije izuzet od opasnosti nedovoljnog prepoznavanja i vrednovanja središnjega značenja euharistije u vlastitu životu i djelovanju. U ovome se radu, uz korištenje teološko-pastoralne prosudbene metode, s jedne strane prikazuju bitni nosivi teološkopastoralni elementi koji izviru iz slavlja otajstva i koji odražavaju središnje mjesto i značenje euharistijskoga slavlja za svećenikov život i ukupnu pastoralnu aktivnost. S druge se strane ukazuje na manjkavosti koje su danas uočljive u odnosu na središnje mjesto i značenje euharistijskog otajstva u svećenikovu životu i djelovanju te se ističu neki teološko-pastoralni elementi koji trebaju pomoći njihovu nadvladavanju., Ministerial priesthood and the Eucharist are closely linked to one another. Priesthood is born with the Eucharist, and there is no Eucharist without a priest. In our contemporary cultural and even pastoral context, sometimes the sense of the original and central meaning of the Eucharistic celebration for the Christian life is lost. Not even the priest is excluded from the danger of an insufficient recognizing and evaluation of the central meaning of the Eucharist in his own life and activity. In this paper, by using the theological-pastoral evaluating method the crucial theological and pastoral elements stemming from the celebration of the mystery, are presented, reflecting the centrality and the meaning of the Eucharistic celebration for the life of the priest and pastoral activity in general. On the other side, some weak points are noted, visible today in respect to the centrality and the meaning of the Eucharistic mystery in the life of the priest and his activity, so that some of theological and pastoral elements are pointed out in order to help the overcoming of difficulties.

Okupljanje u zajedništvu crkvene zajednice okosnica je kršćanskog života i konstanta koja predstavlja nezaobilazno i konstitutivno uporište djelovanja iz vjere. Pritom se u prvom redu misli na okupljanje kojemu je u središtu slavlje sakramenata (na poseban način euharistije) i slušanje Božje riječi. Bog koji je u sebi zajedništvo triju Osoba providonosno okuplja svoj narod. Okupljanje u zajedništvu Crkve presudni je izraz dinamike okupljanja vjernika. Ono je konstanta koja u bitnome određuje pastoral. U tom smislu okupljanje u crkvenom zajedništvu postaje ne samo znak i izričaj vjere te zajednice već i glavna odrednica njezina života i djelovanja, glavna odrednica pastorala. Pastoral se ostvaruje u dinamici okupljanja. Ova činjenica postaje na poseban način vidljiva prigodom većih crkvenih okupljanja, posebice velikih slavlja, ali i u nekim drugim prigodama. U ovom članku razrađuje se odnos upravo tih većih okupljanja crkvene zajednice i redovite dinamike pastoralnog djelovanja, budući da upravo u tom odnosu leže neki od temeljnih problema povezanosti okupljanja i redovitog pastorala u aktualnom trenutku, kao i perspektive za poboljšanje istog odnosa., A gathering together in communion with the ecclesial community is a framework for Christian life and a constant which represents the unavoidable and constitutive basis for activity motivated by faith. We are referring here primarily to a gathering at the centre of which is the celebration of the sacraments (especially of the Eucharist) and hearing the Word of God. God, Who is a communion of three Persons, providentially gathers together his people. A gathering in communion with the Church is a crucial expression of the dynamics of gathering together of the faithful. It is a constant which essentially determines the pastoral work of the Church. In this respect, a gathering in ecclesial communion is not only a sign and expression of the faith of the community, but also the principle guideline of its life and activity, the principle guideline for pastoral work. Pastoral work is realised in the dynamics of a gathering together. This fact is particularly evident in larger ecclesial gatherings, especially great celebrations, but also on other occasions. This article examines the relationship between such larger gatherings of the ecclesial community and the regular dynamics of pastoral activity, since it is in this very relationship that certain fundamental problems occur with regard to the connection between gatherings and regular pastoral work at the present moment in time, as do also the perspectives for improvement of the relationship.

Pastoral braka i obitelji jedno je od najbremenitijih i najzahtjevnijih područja pastoralnog djelovanja. Na prostoru Riječke nadbiskupije danas se u ovom području ostvaruje pastoralni model koji, s obzirom na njegove karakteristike, možemo izdvojiti kao „riječki model“ obiteljskog pastorala. Pod „modelom“ se ovdje podrazumijevaju način i metodologija putem kojih se ostvaruju bitne odrednice pastoralnog djelovanja Crkve u području pastorala braka i obitelji. To znači da se bitni elementi obiteljskog pastorala ostvaruju u specifičnom ambijentu jedne točno određene sredine. Karakteristike ovog modela prepoznaju se u višedesetljetnoj povijesti djelovanja u korist braka i obitelji, a danas ih je osobito moguće prepoznati u djelovanju Ureda za obitelj Riječke nadbiskupije. Pritom nije riječ o djelovanju organiziranom samo u okviru spomenutog Ureda, već o aktivnostima čiji se pothvati reflektiraju i u djelovanju župnih zajednica, i tako bivaju oživotvoreni na najkonkretnijoj razini crkvenog djelovanja. U djelovanje ovog Ureda ugrađena su iskustva programatskog djelovanja prethodnih desetljeća, sve od sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća do danas. U ovom se radu, na teološko-prosudbeni način, istražuju i prosuđuju odrednice „riječkog modela“ djelovanja u obiteljskom pastoralu, polazeći od razrade povijesnih uvjetovanosti djelovanja, do današnjih oblika pastoralnog angažmana i razrade nekih novih načina i mogućnosti rada., The family and marriage pastoral is one of the richest and most demanding areas of pastoral activity. In the Rijeka diocese a pastoral model is being implemented which, due to its specific characteristics, may be singled out as the „Rijeka model“ of the family pastoral. By „model“ we refer to the manner and methodology through which the essential determinants of the Church's pastoral activity are realized. This means that the essential elements of the family pastoral are implemented in the specific surroundings of a precisely determined milieu. The characteristics of this model can be indentified in the decades-long history of pastoral activity for the good of marrige and the family, which today is most visible in the work of the Office for the Family of the Rijeka Archdiocese. This has to do not only with programs organized by the aforementioned Office, but also with programs reflected in parish community activities, thus coming alive on a most concrete level of the Church's endeavours. The experience of program activities of the preceding decades, from the 1970's until today, has been built into the work of this Office. This essay researches and reviews, in a theologically evaluative manner, the determinants of the „Rijeka model“ of activity in the family pastoral, beginning with an elaboration of historical considerations and including today's forms of pastoral activity as well as presenting new ways and possibilities for the latter.

Propovjedništvo, kao način ostvarivanja navjestiteljske službe Crkve, jedna je od temeljnih zadaća njezinih zaređenih službenika i eminentni dio ukupnoga pastoralnog djelovanja Crkve. Pastoral se temeljni na naviještanju Božje riječi i širenju njezine poruke. Središnja jezgra pastorala – slavlje kršćanskoga otajstva (osobito euharistija) – također podrazumijeva navještaj riječi. Božja je poruka, sadržana u riječi, trajno teološko mjesto i izvor nadahnuća u ukupnom pastoralnom djelovanju. U ovomu se radu, na teološko-prosudbeni način, razrađuju aktualna pitanja propovjedničke službe u današnjem pastoralnom kontekstu. Naglasak je stavljen na istraživanje bitnih segmenata propovjedničke službe, kao i na prepoznavanje onih elemenata koji u današnjem pastoralnom i kulturalnom kontekstu predstavljaju izazove za uspješno ostvarivanje propovjedničke službe., Preaching as a way of realization of the proclaiming ministry of the Church is one of the fundamental tasks of its ordained ministers and the eminent part of the entire pastoral work of the Church. Pastoral activities are based on the proclamation of the Word of God and spreading of its message. The heart of pastoral work, the celebration of Christian mystery (especially the Eucharist) also comprises the proclamation of the Word. God’s message, included in the Word, is a permanent theological point and the source of inspiration in pastoral work. This article is a theological and evaluating analysis of the actual issues of the ministry of preaching in the present pastoral context. The emphasis is put on the study of the crucial segments of the ministry of preaching as well as on the identification of the elements in the contemporary pastoral and cultural contexts, which present a challenge for the successful realization of the preaching ministry.
