The purpose of the research is establishing the composition, infection rates, species and group ratio of ectoparasites of the East European vole on the northern border of the range in Western Siberia (Middle Ob Region). Materials and methods. In 2015–2018, in order to capture the provider of ectoparasites, the East European vole, we used methods of trap lines, trap trenches, and fence-traps; we recorded 173 animals from which we collected 881 specimens of gamasid mites, ixodic ticks, lice and fleas. To assess the quantitative indicators of ectoparasites, the indices generally accepted in parasitology were used. Results and discussion. In 2014, it was established for the first time that there is a sibling species of the common vole, the East European vole in the Middle Ob Region (middle taiga of the forest zone of Western Siberia). In the city of Surgut and its neighborhood, this animal is confined to the most transformed biotopes. The ectoparasite complex of the East European vole includes 26 species of parasitic arthropods. By the number of species (13) and individuals, gamasid mites predominate, and the proportion of ixodic ticks, lice and fleas put together is almost 3 times lower. In a climate of the Middle Ob Region, the list of ectoparasites will no doubt grow as the range of habitats expands and the contacts of the East European vole with other small mammals increase, and its role in maintaining pathogen circulation of natural focal infectious diseases will increase.

УДК 615.322:615.357:615.451.16:616.441 ВПЛИВ СПИРТОВОЇ НАСТОЙКИ ЛИСТЕЦЯ РЯСКИ МАЛОЇ НА ФУНКЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ СТАН ЩИТОПОДІБНОЇ ЗАЛОЗИ В УМОВАХ ЕКСПЕРИМЕНТАЛЬНОГО ГІПОТИРЕОЗУ А. Г. Кононенко, В. М. Харків, Україна Анотація Проведені експериментальні дослідження впливу 30% настойки листеця ряски малої на функціональний стан щитоподібної залози в умовах гіпотиреоїдного стану у щурів. Піддослідні тварини вагою 120-150 г були поділені на 5 груп по 10 тварин у кожній. Експериментальний гіпотиреоз у щурів викликали введенням 1% розчину перхлорату натрію замість питної води протягом 20 днів. Через 20 днів експериментальним групам тварин з гіпотиреозом вводили настойку листеця ряски малої в дозі 1 мл/100 г маси тіла тварини, препарат порівняння Йодомарин в дозі 12 мкг йоду/кг та розчин 30% етанолу в якості групи негативного контролю. В результаті проведених досліджень встановлено виразний коригуючий вплив 30% настойки листеця ряски малої на функціональний стан щитоподібної залози в умовах гіпотиреозу, що проявлялося в нормалізації рівня тиреоїдних гормонів в сироватці крові, підвищенні ректальної температури до вихідного рівня та антизобогенній дії (зменшенні маси щитовидної залози та МКЩЗ). Також було встановлено, що за тиреостимулюючою та антизобогенною дією 30% настойка листеця ряски малої перевищувала препарат порівняння Йодомарин. Виявлено, що введення розчину 30% етанолу не призводило до позитивних змін в розвитку гіпотиреоїдного стану. Таким чином, 30% настойка листеця ряски малої може бути віднесена до регуляторів гіпофункції щитоподібної залози та є перспективною для подальшого вивчення її ефективності в якості тиреостимулюючого засобу. INFLUENCE OF TINCTURE FROM LEMMA MINOR FROND ON THYROID GLAND FUNCTION IN EXPERIMENTAL HYPOTHYROIDISM A. G. Kononenko, V. N. Kravchenko National University of Pharmacy, Kharkov, Ukraine The present work studied the effect of tincture from Lemna minor frond on function of the thyroid gland in the experimental hypothyroidism. Healthy albino rats weighing between 120 g and 150 g used. The animals randomly allotted into five groups, each containing ten rats respectively. Four of the groups induced with hypothyroidism by 1% solution with drinking water for 20 days. Control (vehicle) rats given normal saline. After 20 days, hypothyroid groups of rats treated with tincture from Lemna minor frond at a dose 1 ml/100 g of body weight and with Iodomarin 200 (reference drug) at a dose 12 µg/kg daily orally for 21 days. Experimental group of animals treated with 30% ethanol at a dose 1 ml/100 g of body weight used as group of negative control. Results obtained from the study showed that the introduction of sodium perchlorate leads to functional changes of the thyroid gland in rats, accompanied by decreasing of thyroid hormones level (T4 and T3 by 50.7% and 43.6%, respectively), increasing of thyroid gland weight by 1.9 times and decreasing of rectal temperature by 1ºC in rats that corresponds with hypofunctional state. Introduction of 30% tincture from Lemma minor frond showed its significant corrective action on thyroid function in conditions of hypothyroidism, which manifested in the normalization of thyroid hormones in the blood serum, increasing rectal temperature and antygoiterogenic action. As a result, level of thyroxin and triiodthyronin and thyroid gland weight in a group of animals treated with investigated tincture decreased by 2.2, 1.7 and 1.7 times, respectively, compared to untreated group. It also found that the antygoiterogenic and thyroid-stimulating effect of 30% tincture from Lemma minor frond higher than the reference drug Iodomarin. The obtained results have practical significance for drugs development with thyroid-stimulating action for preventing or delaying the development of hypothyroidism and its complications. В настоящей работе изучено влияние настойки листеца ряски малой на функцию щитовидной железы при экспериментальном гипотиреозе. Эксперимент был проведен на здоровых белых крысах весом 120-150 г. Животных были случайным образом распределены на пять групп, по десять крыс каждая. В четырех группах индуцировали гипотиреоз введением 1% раствора с питьевой водой в течение 20 дней. Интактная группа крыс получала физиологический раствор. Через 20 дней, группы крыс с гипотиреозом получали настойку листеца ряски малой в дозе 1 мл/100 г массы тела и Йодомарин 200 (препарат сравнения) в дозе 12 мкг/кг в день перорально в течение 21 дней. Экспериментальная группа животных, получавшая 30% этанол в дозе 1 мл/100 г массы тела, использовали в качестве группы отрицательного контроля. Полученные результаты исследования показали, что введение перхлората натрия приводит к функциональным изменениям щитовидной железы у крыс, сопровождается снижением уровня тиреоидных гормонов (Т4 и Т3 на 50,7% и 43,6%, соответственно), увеличением массы щитовидной железы в 1,9 раза и снижением ректальной температуры на 1 °С у крыс, что соответствует гипофункциональному состоянии. Введение 30% настойки листеца ряски малой показало выраженное корректирующее действие на функцию щитовидной железы в условиях гипотиреоза, которое проявлялось в нормализации уровня тиреоидных гормонов в сыворотке крови, повышением ректальной температуры и антизобогенным действием. В результате, уровень тироксина и трийодтиронина и масса щитовидной железы в группе животных, получавших исследуемую настойку уменьшились в 2,2, 1,7 и 1,7 раза, соответственно, по сравнению с нелеченной группой. Было также установлено, что антизобогенное и тиреостимулирующее действие 30% настойки листеца ряски малой было выше такового у препарата сравнения Йодомарина. Полученные результаты имеют практическое значение для разработки лекарственных препаратов с тиреостимулирующим действием для предотвращения или замедления развития гипотиреоза и его осложнений.
