The purpose of this study was to investigate long-term sports injuries, their prevalence, general identification of and consultation about injuries, and the knowledge among Hungarian athletes related to injury prevention. A questionnaire was designed to survey athletes regarding these topics. Olympic medal winners, nationally selected athletes, and amateur athletes were surveyed, and altogether 502 completed questionnaires were obtained. The data was analyzed with the Chi-square test for dichotomous variables and the Kruskal-Wallis H-test for questions with the Likert scale to try the statistical power of the hypotheses. The results of our analysis show that athletes suffer injuries regardless of their level of play, and that athletes regard their sports to be moderately dangerous. Most athletes would compete despite the risk of permanent injury; they compete with injuries mostly of their own volition; and they will risk potential injuries or long-term health damage to gain exceptional outcomes. Success is the first and foremost desire of athletes, and the risk of injuries or even long-term health damage does not play an important role in the value system of Hungarian athletes. Sport managers and officers of sport federations must be made aware that the first line of prevention of sport injuries is comprehensive medical consultation with proper medical coverage.

Potential differences among developed and emerging countries regarding the battery electric vehicles (BEVs) adoption are highlighted in the literature. However, most studiesfocus onfactors influencing BEV penetration in mature markets. In this paper, we explore the spatial adoption of electric vehicles and its determinants using data from Hungary, an emerging country. We show that spatial heterogeneities in the adoption rates of BEVs are important. Without taking these heterogeneities into account, only thefast chargers exhibit significant positive effects on BEV registration rate. For a long time, tourism statistics were the only reliable source of information on tourism mobility. Tourism statistics are inadequate for the analysis of tourist mobility within state borders and across Schengen Borders without using registered accommodations. Big data offers the opportunity to gain a better understanding of tourism movements, for example, same-day tourist flows in metropolitan areas. Here, we introduce the concept of the satellite traveller to more effectively investigate the nature of tourism between the large city and its surroundings. As tourists communicate via cellular devices, the use of mobile phones offers an opportunity for researchers to explore the mobility pattern of tourists. In this article, we discuss the specificities of mobility in Hungary by SIM card users registered in foreign countries. The analysis is based on the Telekom database. We seek to answer the question to what extent the information from the satellite tourists' mobile phone use can help to understand their movements and to identify frequented places less commonly accounted for in tourism statistics. The most important findings of our investigation are (1) the confirmation of former knowledge about spatial characteristics of same-day tourist flows in the Budapest Metropolitan Region, (2) the insight that far away settlements are also visited by satellite travellers, and (3) the methodological limitations of mobile phone cellular data for tourism mobility analysis. A városok politikai gazdaságtani szempontú elemzésére egyre több magyar példa áll rendelkezésre a szakirodalomban. Ezek túlnyomó része azonban ritkán lép ki a központi város teréből és szolgál magyarázattal a szuburbán vagy az urbanizálódó rurális térségek átalakulásáról. Tanulmányom a nagyvárosi perem gazdasági térszerkezetének vizsgálatára vállalkozik, értelmezi a periferikus tér urbanizációs folyamatait és következtetéseket von le a tértermelés peremvidéki jellegzetességeiről. Az urbanizációs folyamatok kapcsán vizsgálom azt, hogy a városi perem gazdaságszerkezete visszatükrözi-e az érett kapitalista várostérségekben jellemző specializálódást, illetve a gazdasági tevékenységek övezetes elrendeződését. Ehhez statisztikai adatokat, valamint egy geokódolt cégadatbázist használok, amely a várostérség 56 települését és 1312 cégét fogja át. Eredményeim szerint sem az ágazati, sem a funkcionális specializáció jeleit nem figyelhetjük meg a periférián. Ezek alapján a budapesti metropolisztér a globális értéktermelés és -elosztás köreibe kevéssé integrált városi gazdaságnak tűnik, amely kevés speciális szolgáltatást és terméket képes nyújtani a külpiacok számára. A cégadatok térképi megjelenítése a cégek eltérő koncentrációját mutatja a településszerkezeten belül: egyes települések képesek vállalkozói zónákba tömöríteni a periférián megtelepedő cégeket, míg mások nem képesek szabályozni a spontán telephelyválasztást. Az egyes helyek eltérő módon kezelik a neoliberalizációs folyamat rájuk nehezedő nyomását, más és más módon sajátítják el a neoliberális átalakulást. Ebből arra következtethetünk, hogy – a társadalom helyi viszonyain túl – az állam és a tőke viszonyában helyi eltérések lehetnek. Feltételezésem szerint a vállalkozások koncentrált vagy széttagolt letelepülése a helyi állam és a befektetői tőke településenként eltérő kapcsolataira utal, ami a tér alakításának mechanizmusait is módosítja. Ezek feltárásához interjúkat készítettem a periféria egy településcsoportjában. A beszélgetések segítettek feltárni azokat az ellenőrzési mechanizmusokat, amelyeket az állam a tér termelése felett gyakorol.

Analysis on trends and factors that are influencing visitor attendances in museums is not a straightforward task to do. The importance of these examinations stems from the fact that museums, as part of cultural tourism, have a significant social and economic impact on the regions that they represent. Guided by this idea, the aim of this paper is to identify the main elements that may affect the success of museums in general and to highlight and examine specifically one element that is likely to have an impact on the development of visitor numbers. The paper will analyze issues such as: features that can be taken into account when organizing exhibitions, museum popularity and popular exhibitions and the possible examination on whether the number of days that an exhibition lasts has an influence on the total number of attendances. Studies highlight the fact that museums are studied either from the point of view of preserving the exhibits or as units which boost tourist flow. Today's museum managers have to choose the exhibits and decide what they express on the one hand, on the other hand they have to cater to the visitors' expectations as well. It is a general belief that it is worth keeping up with the trends if an institution does not want to isolate itself from the society. In this case the main problem might be that the emphasis is put on entertainment, and due to this fact museums can lose their integrity, their original mission, which is to collect, preserve and study the artifacts. Since lately the role of the museums has changed, this has become a question that needs to be answered, so the main aim of our study is to analyze to what extent can the balance between these different pivots be kept. Whether to cater to the consumers' needs with catching up to the latest trends or to keep the original mission of the museums is the question on the one hand, on the other hand to what extent does closing up to the trends affect the number of visitors. Total Quality Management is an attractive philosophy and its implementation involves many difficulties. Implementation of total quality management requires a profound transformation of the organization so that the appearance of strong resistance is inevitable. For this reason, it is necessary to consider the huge effort that is required to resolve difficulties that appear in this process. Total quality management is based on knowing the stage of organization and its environment and through continuous improvement for it to try to reach excellence. It is well known that the implementation of quality management systems depends on the specifics of each organization. Functions performed, defining features, characteristics of public administration systems, rigidity given by the multitude of laws make it difficult to implement quality management systems, on the one hand and on the other hand, these difficulties are given from the specific service. The introduction of total quality management in public administration cannot and should not present a radical reform of it. Public administration, like any other public or private organization, can be improved. In essence, the practice of recent years shows that the model Total Quality Management in public administration allows improvements, but it only with an appropriate organizational culture.
