Teacher training has long relied on experienced school mentors as role models for novice teachers. However, qualifications and experience alone cannot remain the prerequisites for teacher leadership in 21st century schools. How can experienced school mentors collegially mentor new teachers into leadership, without abrogating their responsibilities? In this article, a constructivist approach was explored to mentor new teachers into leadership with the focus on establishing symbiotic relationships based on the mutual continuous professional development (CPD) of experienced school mentors and novice teachers. A multi-faced approach to leadership is proposed. Data regarding the perceptions of 241 final-year student teachers of their mentors' collegial leadership competencies were collected using a questionnaire. The findings indicate the positive perceptions that the student teachers had of their mentors' collegial leadership competencies. In the study reported on here, the focus was on the perceived characteristics of experienced school mentors to assist student teachers with work-integrated learning. The findings provide insights into enhancing the interpersonal collegial competencies of experienced school mentors to improve the school-work-integrated knowledge of student teachers.

This study provides a comprehensive exploration of factors impacting the online buying intentions of Generation Z consumers by studying perceived risk, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived privacy and perceived security, customer trust, and trust toward sellers. Furthermore, the study augments the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which can assist in formulating marketing strategies for online marketers and companies to enrich their online shopping platforms and entice more Generation Z consumers. This study employed a quantitative research approach to explore how perceived risk, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, perceived privacy and perceived security, customer trust, and trust toward sellers impact online buying intentions among Generation Z consumers. The data were collected employing a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using the SmartPLS software. Generation Z consumers' online buying intentions are directly impacted by perceived risk, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived privacy and perceived security, customer trust, and trust toward sellers. Applying these factors, the TAM model augmented the theoretical understanding of the online buying intentions of Generation Z consumers in the Indian context. Companies and marketers can employ the study's insights to develop targeted online marketing campaigns that cater to the manifold needs of Generation Z consumers. Foundation is the part of all structure, which helps transmit the all the loads from above structure to the ground. The bearing capacity value mainly affected by two major factors, they are type of soil and also the location where the stratum. Due to various reasons such as; Economy, miser, unconsciousness etc, people don’t conduct soil test in many cases and starts to build high rise buildings in different locations. From the prevention of collapse and settlement of building bearing capacity of soil should be checked. Zonation mapping of bearing capacity is inevitable in many cases of newer and expansion storey construction. In many countries, zoning mapping of bearing capacity has been available for crowd or urbanized cities. In case of Nepal, there are absences of such zoning maps. The thesis report tries to fill such gap present in Nepal. Different bearing capacity has been found using different tests; SPT Value, Terzaghi, and among them least of the resulted value of bearing capacity is used for Zonation mapping of Morang district of Nepal. These targets are achieved by various data and tests conducted in the soil investigation with boring logs and SPT N value from 239 different locations and terrain around Morang District of Nepal. The methods initially adopted are collecting, selecting, grouping and plotting the data Location in Morang District map using GIS. Various analytical, experimental and theoretical approaches also used for the estimating and analyzing bearing capacity of soil. The research shows that the bearing capacity of soil of Morang ranges from 50kPa to 628kPa.

Understanding the critical role that knowledge and awareness of traffic laws and poor driving habits play in preventing traffic accidents, this study was carried out to evaluate the knowledge and awareness of traffic regulations among drivers in India’s North Central Region. In order to accomplish the goals, a questionnaire was designed and sent to the people who utilize the roads. The primary findings revealed that a relatively small number of participants fully complied with speed regulations. Furthermore, the majority of participants used mobile phones while driving and drove while feeling drowsy. It is interesting to note that some of the participants lacked understanding of traffic signs, while a large percentage of participants were aware of improper driving habits. These behaviors may be the primary factors contributing to the high number of accidents that occur in the region. In light of the findings of this research, it is imperative that serious efforts be made to raise knowledge about road safety and ensure compliance with traffic rules. This study recommends boosting the participation of females on the roads since previous research has revealed that females have a high degree of understanding regarding traffic laws. In addition to this, the authorities need to step up their efforts to strictly enforce the restrictions.

In a construction project of G+19 Hotel & Residence, there have been parking problem due to lack of sufficient land. So to minimize these problem double basement have been designed for parking floor. The basement excavation is not easy to excavate without proper protection work for retaining deep excavations. Soil at its natural form, in a construction site is not suitable to completely bear heavy surcharge loads. For such situations, the soil stability needs to be improved to enhance its strengthen capacity and decrease the expected landslide. There are some techniques for retaining deep excavations for basements which are used at site to take surcharge load during excavation. Depending upon the loading conditions and nature of soil at site, a Cast-In-Place Bored Piling by Rotary Bored Machine technique have been adopted. This paper gives the overview and concept of Cast-In-Place Bored Piling by Rotary Bored Machine, discusses their practical applications and problems faced to Quality Control.

We explore the rationale for school managers in South Africa to enroll for a new practice-based qualification and determine the perceptions of principals on how the Advanced Certificate in Education (ACE) course influences their leadership style. The task of being a principal is demanding, requiring energy, drive, and many personal qualities and attributes. Principals, involved in the day-to-day management of their schools, need to take time to reflect on their personal growth as leaders and managers. The expectations of principals have moved from demands of management and control to the demands for an educational leader who can foster staff development, parent involvement, community support, and learner growth, and succeed with major changes and expectations. Developing principals and providing them with the necessary knowledge, skills, values and attitudes becomes increasingly important as the dynamic and changing educational culture becomes increasingly difficult. Using a qualitative paradigm, we investigated the perceptions of principals on how the ACE course influenced their leadership style. The ACE course was conceived as a form of continuing professional development which has the purpose of equipping principals for the positions they occupy, or enabling teachers to move into an education leadership and management career path.

We focus on the importance of emotional intelligence (EI) in conceptualizing collegial leadership in education. Research findings, both nationally and internationally, strongly suggest that a technocratic (managerial) approach to leadership is in conflict with the visionary, people-centred approach of modern organisations, including educational institutions at school level. Research on leadership over the past two decades indicates that the emotional intelligence of leaders matters twice as much as cognitive abilities such as IQ or technical expertise. EI is not in opposition to IQ but it is an extension of the human's potential to succeed in a people-orientated environment. Traditional cognitive intelligence (IQ) is combined with non-cognitive intelligence (EI) to help leaders perform at their best and inspire their followers to be successful and happy. Although the principal's leadership is an essential element in the success of a school, current research indicates that the complexities of schools require a new focus on collaborative (collegial) leadership. This research on EI, collegial leadership, and job satisfaction is illustrated in the Triumvirate Leadership Grid. It strongly suggests that a personal and emotional accountability system is essential for positive human development within the learning environment.

The success of modern businesses hinges on their capability to recognize and explore emerging patterns in consumer behavior within the context of information technology (IT). While the study of consumer behavior has made notable progress, there remains a need to study the convergence between IT and consumer behavior to discover new prospects and insights that can improve business performance. Therefore, conducting a thorough study to evaluate the current state of research in this area is imperative. This endeavor can accumulate and map current research, extending knowledge and good practices for businesses and stakeholders. This study studied the intersection of IT and consumer behavior using the systematic literature review (SLR) approach and the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines. The primary objective was to review the comprehensiveness of systematic review reports and meta-analysis studies in journals indexed with the SSCI and SCIE categories of the Web of Science. After applying the PRISMA approach, a sample of 40 eligible articles was finalized for further review. It identified four critical themes related to research: technological diffusion, disruptive consumer behavior, IT and consumer behavior, and the impact of IT on consumer behavior. The neuromarketing phenomenon has led to a makeover in the marketing area, and its application in the business world has generated a better insight into understanding diverse consumer behavior. This comprehensive study delves into the multifaceted world of neuromarketing. Employing a systematic literature review approach and reviewing 51 articles from the Web of Science database, the study aims to provide a holistic view of the neuromarketing field, offering valuable insights and directions for future research and practical application in the business and academic world. The key results of this study are classified into six distinct research themes: 1. Evolution of Neuromarketing, 2. Neuromarketing Definitions and Neuromarketing Tools, 3. Neuromarketing in Practice, 4. Social Value of Neuromarketing, 5. Neuromarketing and Consumer Behavior, and 6. Neuromarketing for Sustainable Business Development. The results of the study are based on the 4W framework (What, Where, Why, and How) and the TCCM framework (Themes, Contexts, Characteristics, and Methodology). The study underscores the significance of neuromarketing to businesses and serves as a provocative call to action for businesses to study its potential which traditional marketing techniques may overlook. This study is notable for its investigation of theoretical evolution, definitions, tools, practices, social value, and influence on consumer behavior within the discipline. Its contribution unfolds to sustainable business development, where neuromarketing can facilitate sustainable products and practices by understanding consumer behavior. This study presents valuable insights and sets the stage for future research through theoretical advancements in neuromarketing. This article focuses on the functionality of school-governing bodies (SGBs) as the voice of parents in the governance of schools. After nearly sixteen years since the South African Schools Act 84 of 1996 (SASA) came into effect, the question that still raises many concerns among stakeholders in education is whether Black parents through their SGBs are aptly fulfilling their roles as rightful partners in the governance of their children's schools. The aim of this study was therefore to determine whether Section 18 of SASA was being appropriately realised in the Black townships of Port Elizabeth. Using the qualitative research method, a sample of ten schools--five primary and five secondary schools--was intentionally selected from the Black townships of Port Elizabeth. A total of forty in-depth open-ended interviews were conducted. The study found that, although the schools had legally constituted SGBs, these SGBs were not functional. The findings of this study shed light on the challenges why a partnership cannot materialise if Black parents do not have the capacity to be partners in the governance of schools. Hence, this study provides new insight into the status quo of Black parental involvement in the governance of schools.
