En este trabajo se presente un código eficiente y documentado del Método de Elementos Finitos (MEF) en tres dimensiones, con elementos tetrahédrico de hasta grado cuatro cuyo uso se extiende para Octave y Matlab. Este código se ha diseñado para resolver problemas de contorno con condiciones Dirichlet, Neumann y Robin para ecuaciones en derivadas parciales lineares y elípticas. También desarrollamos una herramienta para integrar este código con el programa informático GMSH. Demostramos la flexibilidad y extensibilidad del código a través de varios ejemplos numéricos. Estos ejemplos también servirán a modo de tutorial para comprender el funcionamiento del código. Además, se proporciona una introducción del MEF enfocándonos en las ideas necesarias para su implementación. This work presents an efficient and documented 3D Finite Element Method (FEM) code with tetrahedral elements up to fourth degree in Matlab/Octave. The code is designed to solve boundary problems with Dirichlet, Neumann, and Robin conditions for linear elliptic partial differential equations. We also provide tools for integrating with the meshing software GMSH. We demonstrate the flexibility and extensibility of the code with several numerical experiments. These examples are also presented for tutorial purposes. Furthermore, we provide a basic background on the finite element method, mainly focusing on the ideas necessary for its implementation to supplement this project’s coding nature. La turistización es un fenómeno apenas estudiado hace una década, la practica turística y sus diferentes modalidades han ocasionado en el territorio impactos de orden social, cultural, económico y ambiental. El municipio de Puerto Triunfo no ha sido ajeno a dichos impactos desde que fue considerado por la nación como reserva turística nacional en 1983, además de la apertura del parque temático Hacienda Nápoles en el año 2007. El reconocimiento como reserva natural turística con presencia de importantes escenarios naturales en el territorio, reconocidos por propios y visitantes, han sido los mayores detonantes de la practica turística a través del tiempo, sin que esta haya contado con una regulación específica en cuanto a políticas o normatividad local. Caracterizar los Escenarios Naturales de Actividad Ecoturística ENAE a través de información de variables recogidas en campo, su cualificación e interpolación por medio de herramientas SIG y apoyado en metodologías como la de Bertoni (2005) para el diseño de fichas de trabajo de campo y la categorización de áreas protegidas de la Unión Internacional de Conservación de áreas Naturales UICN (Nigel, 2008) , ha sido un ejercicio de suma importancia para comprender la dinámica territorial que de estos se desprende, además de ser un insumo fundamental para la proponer lineamientos estratégicos que apunten de forma coherente a las políticas de orden nacional y departamental. El presente estudio, permite aportar un mecanismo de diagnóstico y formulación de instrumentos para la planificación territorial en materia turística, además de permitir crear lineamientos derivados de un estudio de caso en un territorio específico, alejándose de las estructuras normativas que generalizan las regulaciones sobre el territorio sin comprender sus particularidades en las diferentes dimensiones del desarrollo. El aporte del presente trabajo investigativo, servirá como insumo para el diseño de una política pública municipal y supramunicipal que aporte a la planificación del territorio en materia turística por medio de la formulación de lineamientos estratégicos que propendan minimizar los impactos de dicha actividad, además, servirá como modelo para la caracterización y evaluación de ENAEs en otros territorios donde se presente el fenómeno de turistización. Touristization is a phenomenon barely studied a decade ago, the tourist practice and its different modalities have caused social, cultural, economic and environmental impacts in the territory. The municipality of Puerto Triunfo has not been immune to these impacts since it was considered by the nation as a national tourist reserve in 1983, in addition to the opening of the Hacienda Napoles theme park in 2007. Recognition as a tourist nature reserve with the presence of important Natural scenarios in the territory, recognized by locals and visitors, have been the biggest triggers of tourism practice over time, without this having had a specific regulation in terms of local policies or regulations. Characterize the Natural Scenarios of ENAE Ecotourism Activity through information on variables collected in the field, their qualification and interpolation by means of GIS tools and supported by methodologies such as that of Bertoni (2005) for the design of field work sheets and categorization of protected areas of the International Union for the Conservation of Natural Areas IUCN (Nigel, 2008) , has been a very important exercise to understand the territorial dynamics that emerge from these, as well as being a fundamental input for proposing strategic guidelines that aim coherently to national and departmental policies. The present study allows us to provide a diagnostic mechanism and formulation of instruments for territorial planning in tourism, in addition to allowing the creation of guidelines derived from a case study in a specific territory, moving away from the normative structures that generalize the regulations on the territory. without understanding its particularities in the different dimensions of development. The contribution of this research work will serve as an input for the design of a municipal and supra-municipal public policy that contributes to the planning of the territory in tourism matters through the formulation of strategic guidelines that tend to minimize the impacts of said activity, in addition, it will serve as a model for the characterization and evaluation of ENAEs in other territories where the phenomenon of touristization occurs. The aim of this study was to determine tolerance to water and salt stress in four cultivated Passiflora L. species. Eleven accessions of four Passiflora species of commercial interest from different plantations were evaluated. The experiment design used sub-split plots, where the plot was the percentage of water saturation in relation to the requirements of the crop (33 and 100%). The subplot was established with the saturation levels of salt (sodium chloride reactive level - 99.9% purity) (EC: 1.5 and 5.5 dS m-1) with the 11 accessions in a completely randomized array with five replications, where the experiment unit was one plant. The results showed that accessions m11, m13 (P. edulis f. flavicarpa) and m15 (P. tarminiana) were tolerant to salinity and drought; accessions m2 (P. edulis f. edulis), m12 and m14 (P. edulis f. flavicarpa) were moderately tolerant. These observations provided a basis for future studies on drought tolerance in Passiflora, which must be followed up with field evaluations. RESUMEN El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la tolerancia al estrés hídrico y salino en cuatro especies cultivadas de Passiflora L. Se evaluaron 11 accesiones de cuatro especies de Passiflora de interés comercial provenientes de diferentes plantaciones. El diseño experimental fue en parcelas subdivididas, donde la parcela principal fue el porcentaje de saturación de agua en relación con los requisitos del cultivo (33 y 100%). La subparcela se estableció por los niveles de saturación de sal (cloruro de sodio nivel reactivo - 99,9% de pureza) (CE: 1.50 y 5.5 dS m-1) con 11 accesiones en una disposición completamente aleatoria, con cinco repeticiones, donde la unidad experimental fue una planta. Los resultados mostraron que las accesiones m11, m13 (P. edulis f. flavicarpa) y m15 (P. tarminiana) se consideraron tolerantes a la salinidad y la sequía; las accesiones m2 (P. edulis f. edulis), m12 y m14 (P. edulis f. flavicarpa) fueron moderadamente tolerantes. Estas observaciones son la base para futuros estudios de tolerancia a la sequía en Passiflora, que deben ser seguidos por evaluaciones de campo.

El presente trabajo tenía como objetivo identificar cuál es el impacto de una intervención comportamental en el balance decisional sobre la intención de rotación de los empleados de la empresa Salamanca S.A. Para ello se realizó un estudio preexperimental con evaluación previa y posterior a la intervención utilizando el cuestionario de intención de rotación creado por Roodt. La intervención se realizó utilizando como referencia el marco metodológico de la rueda del cambio del comportamiento, en una población de 30 empleados del servicio de alimentación de la empresa Salamanca, en la cual se aplicaron las técnicas de cambio comportamental “comparación de resultados” según la taxonomía de técnicas de cambio comportamental TCC. Se concluye que después de la intervención, no se identificaron cambios estadísticamente significativos en la intención de rotación de la población. Sin embargo, se identificó una tendencia al discriminar entre empleadas nuevas y antiguas, teniendo un efecto más notorio en las empleadas nuevas.

Background Approximately 3% of the population suffers a first episode of psychosis (FEP), and a high percentage of these patients subsequently relapse. Because the clinical course following a FEP is hard to predict, it is of interest to identify cognitive and biological markers that will help improve the diagnosis, treatment, and outcome of such events and to define new therapeutic targets. Here we analyzed the plasma oxytocin and prolactin levels during an FEP, assessing their correlation with clinical and cognitive features. Methods The oxytocin and prolactin in plasma was measured in 120 FEP patients and 106 healthy controls, all of whom were subjected to a clinical and neuropsychological assessment. Most patients were under antipsychotics. Statistical analyses aimed to identify factors associated with the FEP and to search for associations between the variables. This study is preliminary and exploratory because the P-values were not corrected for multiple comparisons. Results FEP patients had less oxytocin, more prolactin, and a poor premorbid IQ, and they performed worse in sustained attention. Male patients with higher prolactin levels experienced more severe psychotic symptoms and required higher doses of antipsychotics. Low oxytocin was associated with poor sustained attention in women, whereas low oxytocin and high prolactin in men correlated with better performance in sustained attention. Conclusion Low oxytocin, high prolactin, and poor premorbid IQ and sustained attention are factors associated with an FEP, representing potential therapeutic targets in these patients. These biological factors and cognitive domains might play an important role during a FEP, which could help us to develop new strategies that improve the outcomes of this disorder and that should perhaps be gender specific.
