The analysis focuses on investigating the phenomenon of double-diffusive convection using the Sisko nanofluid model. It particularly highlights the impact of induced magnetic flux, viscous dissipation, and heat radiation within an asymmetric geometry having multiple slip conditions. To ascertain the salient of the Brownian diffusion coefficient and thermophoresis, we have incorporated viscous dissipation, heat radiation, and the Buongiorno model. The Soret and Dufour parameters describe the convective double diffusion phenomenon. The mathematical formulation is constructed through equations governing magnetic force function, concentration, temperature, momentum, and continuity. These formulations yield nonlinear partial differential equations to explain the designated flow. To simplify the nonlinear partial differential equations, the lubrication paradigm of mathematical simulations is employed. The subsequent system of coupled nonlinear differential equations is calculated numerically through the NDSolve function, which is a built-in program of Mathematica. Numerical results and graphs give evidence that supports the significance of different flow quantities in physiological contexts. The findings from this investigation are anticipated to contribute to the development of intelligent magneto-peristaltic pumps, particularly in thermal and drug administration applications. The current investigation suggests that the distribution of temperature reduces as the coefficient of radiation increases due to a system’s high heat emission and consequent effects of cooling. Furthermore, the increased influence of heat radiation raises the concentration profile. It is also highlighted that heat radiation has the potential to raise a fluid’s temperature, which raises the volume fraction of nanoparticles.

Cadmium oxide (CdO) and potassium (K) doped CdO nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized by the chemical co-precipitation method and were used as photocatalysts for the degradation of Eosin B dye. The X-ray diffraction results presented that the crystallite size of undoped CdO and K doped CdO NPs were 43.74 and 42.31 nm, respectively. The morphological study and percent composition of synthesized undoped CdO and K doped CdO NPs was done by scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray analysis. The formation of NPs was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The precursor decomposition to CdO after annealing at ~500 [degrees]C was studied by thermogravimetric analysis. The undoped CdO and K doped CdO nanoparticles degraded about 80% and 90% of the dye, respectively, in 140 min. The maximum degradation efficiency of the dye was achieved at a pH of 4, dye initial concentration of 15 ppm, catalyst dose of 20 mg, and a temperature of 45 [degrees]C. The degradation efficiency observed for recovered undoped CdO and recovered doped CdO nanoparticles was found to be 63% and 77%, respectively. Nous avons etudie la morphologie et determine la composition en % des NP de CdO non dopees et dopees au K ainsi synthetisees par microscopie electronique a balayage (MEB) et spectroscopie de rayons X a dispersion d'energie (EDX). Nous avons etudie la decomposition du precurseur en CdO apres recuit a environ 500 [degrees]C par analyse thermogravimetrique (ATG). Les NP de CdO non dopees et dopees au K ont degrade environ 80 % et 90 % du colorant, respectivement en 140 minutes. La degradation du colorant a atteint une efficacite maximale a pH 4, avec une concentration initiale du colorant de 15 ppm et une quantite de catalyseur de 20 mg, a une temperature de 45[degrees]C. The exploration of peristaltic pumping and heat transfer in magnetohydrodynamic biofluids holds considerable significance with diverse physiological applications, including their use in surgical equipment for the heart, drug injection, cancer therapies, and dialysis. These studies find relevance in various industrial processes, such as the production of pharmaceutical fluids, liquid filtration, and the contamination-free dispensing of cosmetic/glue emulsions. Consequently, the current analysis delves into the intricacies of thermal emission and viscous dissolution in the peristaltic movement of a six-constant Jeffreys magneto-nanofluid within an asymmetric channel. This investigation considers double diffusion convection and incorporates slip conditions. The energy equation is formulated, incorporating features of thermal dispersion and viscous dissolution. The initial model includes a collection of non-linear partial differential equations (PDEs). To simplify the problems, the analysis is made simpler under the supposition of a small Reynolds number and large wavelength, leading to the governing system of PDEs that is further computed using the numerical technique NDSolve. A detailed analysis is conducted for various parameters, including nanoparticle fraction, pressure increase, velocity, temperature, pressure gradient, concentration, and stream functions. Graphical presentations of the obtained results showcase the influence of different flow quantities, noting that the temperature profile boosts due to the growing impact of the increasing concentration of thermal slip, while concentration decreases owing to the increasing concentration of the slip parameter. Moreover, it is also noted that as the thermophoresis parameter, thermal slip parameter, and Brinkman number increase, the temperature profile increases; conversely, it decreases with the thermal radiation parameter. In delay tolerant networks (DTNs) the messages are often not delivered to the destination due to a lack of end-to-end connectivity. In such cases, the messages are stored in the buffer for a long time and are transmitted when the nodes come into the range of each other. The buffer size of each node has a limited capacity, and it cannot accommodate the new incoming message when the buffer memory is full, and as a result network congestion occurs. This leads to a low delivery probability and thus increases the overhead ratio. In this research work, a new buffer management scheme called Range Aware Drop (RAD) is proposed which considers metrics such as message size and time to live (TTL). RAD utilizes TTL as an important metric and as a result, reduces the unnecessary message drop. Simulation results reveal that RAD performs significantly better than drop oldest (DOA) and size aware drop (SAD) in terms of delivery probability and overhead ratio. The obtained results also revealed that the hop-count average of SAD is 3.9 and DOA is 3.4 while the hop-count average of RAD is just 1.7. Also, the message drop ratio of the RAD is 36.2% while SAD and DOA have message drop ratios of 73.3% and 84.9% respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Keystroke dynamics is one of the biometrics techniques that can be used for the verification of a human being. This work briefly introduces the history of biometrics and the state of the art in keystroke dynamics. Moreover, it presents an algorithm for human verification based on these data. In order to achieve that, authors' training and test sets were prepared and a reference dataset was used. The described algorithm is a classifier based on recurrent neural networks (LSTMand GRU). High accuracy without false positive errors as well as high scalability in terms of user count were chosen as goals. Some attempts were made to mitigate natural problems of the algorithm (e.g. generating artificial data). Experiments were performed with different network architectures. Authors assumed that keystroke dynamics data have sequence nature, which influenced their choice of classifier. The following paper presents a solution to the problem of offline recognition of Japanese characters. Minutiae and other features extractable from handwriting images have been used to recognize individual characters. The solution presented by the authors uses minutiae to recognise single Japanese characters. Due to the complexity of this typeface, the solution presented can be used to recognise archaic characters, from old documents or also works of art. Neural Networks and hybrid classifiers based on five basic types of classifiers, i.e., k-nearest neighbour method, decision trees, support vector machine, logistic regression and Gaussian Naive Bayes classifier have been developed for classification. The study was conducted on Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji characters (ETL9G Database). The accuracy value obtained was 99.934%.
