With a lot of advancement in technology, there is an improvement in transportation so as to make the humans comfortable with driving. The idea behind this is the development of Autonomous cars also called as Self driving cars in which driving is similar to humans. The challenges faced in the Autonomous cars are to provide cooperative driving among themselves and collision avoidance between neighbor cars. The Autonomous cars communicate and gather the road information from the Road Side Units (RSU) that is placed along the road. Hence in this paper an efficient data dissemination model is proposed such that instead of making each and every car to communicate with the RSU’s which increases the travel time the autonomous cars moving on the road are formed as clusters based on certain distance limit and the car which is nearer to the RSU is identified as Cluster head. The Cluster head gathers the information from RSU and relays the information to all the other cars in its cluster. As the road information is broadcasted to all the other cars by the cluster head data dissemination becomes faster and travel time of the vehicles can also be reduced to a greater extent. The Cluster head apart from relaying the information of RSU’s can also transmit the information of object detection and traffic signal information to other cars in the cluster.

Kadiri Lepakshi (K1812), a high yielding, disease and pest resistant, drought tolerant and high oil content spanish bunch groundnut variety was developed by Agricultural Research Station, Kadiri, ANGRAU, Guntur is a derivative of complex cross ((ICGV 92069 x ICGV 93184) SIL4 x ICGV 98300) made at ICRISAT, Hyderabad and the segregating material was selected during breeders meet organized by ICRISAT during 2005 and further the material was advanced through modified pedigree method. It is notified for general cultivation for rainfed kharif season in Zone V (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka) of groundnut growing states during January 2021. This variety gave mean pod yield up to 3525 kg ha-1over locations and years with a test weight of 40 g and oil content of 51 % in All India Coordinated Trials of Groundnut during 2017-2019. Good quality traits of K1812 attributed through high shelling (70%), high oil (51%), high SMK % (88%), larger kernel size (40g), high protein (28%), high oil recovery (1247 kg/ha), high Chlorophyll content, low SLA and high photosynthetic efficiency. It is erect in its growth habit and plant height is 23 – 25 cm with dark green foliage and the leaves are obovate in shape and leaf let size is small and it is medium in duration (112 days). It also performed well and reported stable pod yield (1244 kg ha-1)during drought years (2014 & 2015). It has multiple disease & pest resistance against major diseases and pests of groundnut. Background The concern regarding a post-antibiotic era with increasing drug resistance by pathogens imposes the need to discover alternatives for existing antibiotics. Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) with their versatile therapeutic properties are a group of promising molecules with curative potentials. These evolutionarily conserved molecules play important roles in the innate immune system of several organisms. The β-defensins are a group of cysteine rich cationic antimicrobial peptides that play an important role in the innate immune system by their antimicrobial activity against the invading pathogens. The present study deals with a novel β-defensin isoform from the red-toothed trigger fish, Odonus niger. Total RNA was isolated from the gills, cDNA was synthesized and the β-defensin isoform obtained by polymerase chain reaction was cloned and subjected to structural and functional characterization in silico. Results A β-defensin isoform could be detected from the gill mRNA of red-toothed trigger fish, Odonus niger. The cDNA encoded a 63 amino acid peptide, β-defensin, with a 20 amino acid signal sequence followed by 43 amino acid cationic mature peptide (On-Def) having a molecular weight of 5.214 kDa and theoretical pI of 8.89. On-Def possessed six highly conserved cysteine residues forming disulfide bonds between C1–C5, C2–C4, and C3–C6, typical of β-defensins. An anionic pro-region was observed prior to the β-defensin domain within the mature peptide. Clustal alignment and phylogenetic analyses revealed On-Def as a group 2 β-defensin. Furthermore, it shared some structural similarities and functional motifs with β-defensins from other organisms. On-Def was predicted to be non-hemolytic with anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-cancer, and immunomodulatory potential. Conclusion On-Def is the first report of a β-defensin from the red-toothed trigger fish, Odonus niger. The antimicrobial profile showed the potential for further studies as a suitable candidate for antimicrobial peptide therapeutics.

Car parking issue has some problems with how to control the number of the car inside it, how to monitor the movement in/out side of the parking lot, how to check whether there is a place inside for more cars or not and the safety to park. It leads to traffic congestion and also pollution. So we have a need to maintain the vehicle park management in order to reduce the wastage of time. If we see in the larger cities when we visit the shopping malls or tourist places or any other commercial areas there arises a problem for parking of our vehicle. We have so many methods of parking systems such as using WSN, RFID methods. But the major drawback of those systems is they help us to find the available spaces for parking but not the exact location of those spaces. It can be overcome by using Automatic Car Parking System using IR Sensors.

Background Increase of antibiotic resistance in pathogenic microbes necessitated novel molecules for curing infection. Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are the gene-encoded evolutionarily conserved small molecules with therapeutic value. AMPs are considered as an alternative drug for conventional antibiotics. Hepcidin, the cysteine-rich antimicrobial peptide, is an important component in innate immune response. In this study, we identified and characterized hepcidin gene from the fish, Catla catla (Indian major carp) and termed it as Cc-Hep. Results Open reading frame of Cc-Hep consists of 261 base pair that encodes 87 amino acids. Cc-Hep is synthesized as a prepropeptide consisting of 24 amino acid signal peptide, 36 amino acid propeptide, and 26 amino acid mature peptide. Sequence analysis revealed that Cc-Hep shared sequence similarity with hepcidin from Sorsogona tuberculata. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that Cc-Hep was grouped with HAMP2 family. Structure analysis of mature Cc-Hep identified two antiparallel beta sheets stabilized by four disulphide bonds and a random coil. The mature peptide region of Cc-Hep has a charge of + 2, isoelectric value 8.23 and molecular weight 2.73 kDa. Conclusion Functional characterization predicted antibacterial, antioxidant, and anticancer potential of Cc-Hep, which can be explored in aquaculture or human health care.

Epidemiology in southern India By August 2020, India had reported several million cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), with cases tending to show a younger age distribution than has been reported in higher-income countries. Laxminarayan et al. analyzed data from the Indian states of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, which have developed rigorous contact tracing and testing systems (see the Perspective by John and Kang). Superspreading predominated, with 5% of infected individuals accounting for 80% of cases. Enhanced transmission risk was apparent among children and young adults, who accounted for one-third of cases. Deaths were concentrated in 50- to 64-year-olds. Incidence did not change in older age groups, possibly because of effective stay-at-home orders and social welfare programs or socioeconomic status. In this work, the authors consider the newly selected Hash Secure (SHA-3) algorithm on FPGA Gateway. The design is logically optimized for zone efficiency by combining the Rho steps and the one-pass algorithm. Logically recording these three steps registers leads to usage 16% of the logical resources for all implementations. This in turn reduces the latency and increases the maximum operating frequency of the project. It uses only 240 sections and has a frequency of 301.02 MHz compared to the design results with the previous FPGA implementation described in SHA3-512, the design shows the Throughput-Per-Slice (TPS) ratio of 30, 1.

Introduction In restorative dentistry, the clinician commonly encounters the challenge of replicating the color of natural teeth due to the subjectivity of perceptual evaluation. Recent advances in photography and computing have resulted in the widespread use of the digital camera for color imaging. These instruments can be used effectively for shade matching and communication to yield predictable results. Materials and methods The study sample consisted of 20 freshly extracted noncarious premolars. The Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (CIE) L*a*b* values of the tooth were obtained through a spectrophotometer, digital camera, and digital camera with a polarizer. Shade selection was carried out using VITA 3D Master and calculating the Euclidian distance. The fabricated metal ceramic crowns were then evaluated to check the shade replication by comparing the CIE L*a*b* values of the crowns with the reference shade tab images. Results The three-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and comparative analysis using Bonferroni test reveals that the difference in the mean L*a* values between spectrophotometer and polarization dental imaging modality (PDIM) was insignificant. The difference in the mean L*a*b* of spectrophotometer and digital camera was statistically significant. The mean ΔE for metal ceramic crowns and shade tabs was 4.2 that was greater than the clinically acceptable level (3.2). Conclusion A statistically significant correlation was found to exist between the spectrophotometer and PDIM for all CIE L*, a*, and b* color coordinates. Clinical significance The present study was undertaken to assess the shade-matching ability of three shade-matching devices, such as spectrophotometer, digital camera, and PDIM, in the accuracy of replication of metal ceramic restorations. In data mining, association rule mining is one of the important techniques for discovering meaningful patterns from large collection of data. Discovering frequent itemsets play an important role in mining association rules, sequence rules, web log mining and many other interesting patterns among complex data. This paper presents a literature review on different techniques for mining frequent itemsets.

A simple Re verse phase liquid chromatographic method has been developed and subsequently validated for simultaneous determination of nic otinic acid, folic acid and cyanocobalamin in combination. The separation was carried out using a mobile phase consisting of sodium acetate buffer of pH 2.5 and Acetonitrile in the ratio of 90 : 10. The column used was phenomenex Luna 5 µ c18 (2) 250x4.6 mm, 100 A with flow rat e of 1.5 ml/min, and the detection was done at 278 nm. The retention times of nicotinic acid, folic acid and cyanocobalamin were found to be 3.79, 6.01 and 14.54 min respectively. The method was validated for linearity, accuracy, precision, limit of detection, limit of quantification and ru ggedness. The limit of detection for nicotinic acid, folic acid and cyanoc obalamin was found to be 100 ng/ml, 1 µg/ml and 10 µg/ml and the limit of Quantification was found to be 1 µg/ml, 10 µg/ml and 100 µg/ml respectively. Linearity for nicotinic acid, folic acid and cyanocobalamin has bee n observed in the range of 1 - 5 µg/ml, 10 - 50 µg/ml and 100 - 500 µg/ml and the respective R 2 values are observed at 0.996, 0.997 and 0.99 respectively. The Cloud Computing Architectural Framework, provides a conceptual framework to help evaluate initial cloud risks and inform security decisions. It's a quick method for evaluating the tolerance for moving an asset to various cloud computing models. The keys to understanding how cloud architecture impacts security architecture are a common and concise lexicon, coupled with a consistent taxonomy of offerings by which cloud services and architecture can be deconstructed, mapped to a model of compensating security and operational controls, risk assessment and management frameworks, and in turn to compliance standards. Understanding the relationships and dependencies between Cloud computing models is critical to understanding Cloud computing security risks. The purpose of this paper is to provide needed context for assistance in making educated risk management decisions regarding their cloud adoption strategies.

Encryption is the process of converting the data from readable format into unreadable format with help of any mathematical expression or sometimes with the help of key. On the other hand decryption is the reverse process of encryption with help of same key used at encryption or with the help of some other key. The paper presents the different methodology used for encryption and decryption. Several methods presented in the literature are reviewed. The methods- Rivest-Shamir-Adlemen algorithm, Data Encryption Standard, Advanced Encryption Standard and three different Secure Hash Algorithm are reviewed and implemented using various FPGA devices. The power consumption, delay and area are analyzed and compared. From the analyses it is been found that the performance of AES and SHA3 are better when compared to other algorithms. These algorithms provide high security when compared to rest of the methods.

Objective: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic condition of the intestine with unknown etiology involving multiple immunes, genetic and environmental factors. Oxidative stress is believed to be a key factor in the pathogenesis and perpetuation of the mucosal damage in IBD. The present study is to elucidate the effects of shilajit extract on the extent and severity of enterocolitis induced by subcutaneous administration of Indomethacin (7.5 mg/kg b. w) in Wistar rats. Methods: Study comprised of 6 groups (n=6), normal vehicle control, indomethacin-induced (7.5 mg/kg, 2days), shilajit alone 50 mg/kg b. w, shilajit treated groups (25 and 50 mg/kg, p. o) and sulfasalazine treated (100 mg/kg, p. o) groups. Drug treatment continued for 11 d and on 12 th d scarification was done. The colonic mucosal injury was assessed by macroscopic scoring, biochemical (LDH, MPO, GSH and LPO) tests were performed. Results: Pretreatment with shilajit showed a decrease in macroscopic scores, LDH, MPO, LPO and elevation levels of GSH as compared to the indomethacin-treated group. Conclusion: The present study suggests that the protective effect of shilajit in indomethacin-induced enterocolitis might be attributed to its scavenging effect on oxygen-derived free radicals and may be beneficial in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.

One hundred and seventy four accessions of sunflower were evaluated in a randomized block design with two replications during Kharif 2010-11 at Regional Agricultural Research Station, Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh to investigate the extent of genetic variability and genetic diversity. The Analysis of variance revealed significant differences among the genotypes for all the traits indicating considerable magnitude of genetic variability of the material used for the study. Low heritability coupled with high GAM was observed for seed yield per plant due to high environmental effects and selection is effective. The genetic divergence study infers the grouping of 174 accessions in 13 clusters which indicates prevalence of good extent of diversity in the material. Cluster I had more no. of genotypes followed by clusters IV, VII and VIII. Cluster X had higher mean value for plant height and head diameter, cluster XII had higher test weight and cluster XI had high seed yield per plant. The maximum inter cluster distance was recorded between cluster XI and XII followed by cluster X and XII and clusters V and XII. Hence, it is suggested that if the diverse accessions from these diverse groups are used in the breeding programme, it is expected to produce a wide range of genetic variability in the population. The traits, 100 seed weight, plant height and days to maturity were the major causing genetic divergence among the accessions.

Analysis of reflected seismic waves gives the information about the earth and its inner core. This aids in monitoring earthquake, petroleum exploration, determination of the earth’s core structure, etc. Wavelet transforms is an efficient tool for analysis of seismic reflected signals. These transforms helps in complete extraction of the seismic signal buried in noise. In this paper an attempt is made to analyze a synthetic seismic signal by using Klauder wavelets. The synthetic seismic signal is extracted by convoluting with the Klauder wavelet. Noise is completely removed as the wavelet spans a large spectrum of signals.
