In the investigative process, the general objective was oriented to determine the incidence of the tax culture of taxpayers in the payment of the property tax in the District Municipality of Colasay, period January - June, 2020, the same that is considered based on to the results obtained and the verification of the hypothesis raised. A correlational level investigation with quantitative approach and non-experimental design was carried out. The information was obtained through the survey technique, applied to the two main agents; on the one hand, municipal workers, who answered the questionnaire on the payment of property tax; on the other hand, the taxpayers, to whom the tax culture questionnaire was provided. The data collected were processed using descriptive statistics, which allowed establishing the level reached by each variable and, inferential statistics to check the correlation index between the two. Upon completion of the study, it is concluded that the value of 0.850 determined the high positive direct relationship between the tax culture of the taxpayers and the payment of the property tax, in the District Municipality of Colasay, period January - June, 2020, concluding that if the level Tax culture increases, the level of payment of the aforementioned municipal tax will also rise. En el proceso investigativo, el objetivo general se orientó a determinar la incidencia de la cultura tributaria de los contribuyentes en el pago del impuesto predial en la Municipalidad Distrital de Colasay, período enero – junio, 2020, el mismo que se da por alcanzado en base a los resultados obtenidos y la comprobación de la hipótesis planteada. Se realizó una investigación de nivel correlacional con enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental. La información se obtuvo mediante la técnica de la encuesta, aplicada a los dos agentes principales; de un lado, los trabajadores municipales, quienes respondieron el cuestionario sobre el pago del impuesto predial; de otra parte, los contribuyentes, a los que se les suministró el cuestionario sobre cultura tributaria. Los datos recogidos fueron procesados mediante la estadística descriptiva, que permitió establecer el nivel alcanzado por cada variable y, la estadística inferencial para comprobar el índice de correlación entre ambas. Al culminar el estudio, se concluye que el valor 0,850 determinó la relación directa alta positiva entre la cultura tributaria de los contribuyentes y el pago del impuesto predial, en la Municipalidad Distrital de Colasay, período enero – junio, 2020, concluyendo que, si el nivel de cultura tributaria se incrementa, también se elevará el nivel de pago del citado impuesto municipal. Foi realizada uma pesquisa de nível correlacional com abordagem quantitativa e design não experimental. As informações foram obtidas utilizando-se a técnica de pesquisa, aplicada aos dois atores principais; por um lado, os trabalhadores municipais, que responderam ao questionário sobre o pagamento do imposto sobre a propriedade; por outro lado, os contribuintes, que receberam o questionário sobre cultura tributária. Os dados coletados foram processados por meio de estatísticas descritivas, que permitiram estabelecer o nível atingido por cada variável e estatísticas inferenciais para verificar o índice de correlação entre os dois. Ao final do estudo, conclui-se que o valor 0,850 determinou a alta relação positiva entre a cultura tributária dos contribuintes e o pagamento do imposto sobre a propriedade, no Município de Colasay, período de janeiro a junho de 2020, concluindo que, se o nível de cultura fiscal aumentar, também será aumentado o nível de pagamento do referido imposto municipal.

The objective of the research was to determine the economic impact of COVID-19 on the profitability of the Company Goicochea & Auditores S. Civil, Jaen 2020. The methodology used was quantitative, applied, not experimental-transversal, explanatory. Likewise, the population was seven (7) workers; the sample was made up of seven workers, the technique used was the survey and the instrument applied was the questionnaire. In the results, in the analysis of the financial indices it was determined that the COVID-19 Pandemic did not negatively impact the profitability of the Company Goicochea & Auditores S. La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el impacto económico del COVID-19 en la rentabilidad de la Empresa Goicochea & Auditores S. Civil, Jaén 2020. La metodología utilizada fue cuantitativa, aplicada, no experimental-transversal, explicativo. Asimismo, la población fue siete (7) trabajadores; la muestra lo conformaron los siete trabajadores, la técnica utilizada fue la encuesta y el instrumento aplicado el cuestionario. En los resultados, en el análisis de los índices financieros se determinó que la Pandemia del COVID-19 no impactó negativamente en la rentabilidad de la Empresa Goicochea & Auditores S. The general objective of the research was to determine the relationship between managerial accounting and decision making in the company Estación de Servicios New Mejía EIRL, Cutervo, 2021. The study had a quantitative approach, applied type, descriptive level - correlational, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. It was developed based on a sample made up of ten workers from the company Estación de Servicios New Mejía E.I.R.L. The survey was used as a data collection technique, and the questionnaire as an instrument, all with the purpose of achieving the general objective. For the analytical process of the data, the SPSS software was used. On the other hand, the results were obtained through the contrast of hypotheses using non-parametric statistical analysis, achieving evidence that there is indeed a relationship between managerial accounting and decision making, the same that is expressed through the Rho correlation coefficient. Spearman's giving a value of 0.872 (very good correlation) which indicates that the better management accounting is done, the better decision making should be and vice versa. El objetivo general de la investigación fue determinar la relación de la contabilidad gerencial con la toma de decisiones en la empresa Estación de Servicios New Mejía E.I.R.L., Cutervo, 2021. El estudio fue de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, de nivel descriptivo - correlacional, con un diseño no experimental de tipo transversal. Se desarrolló en base a una muestra conformada por diez trabajadores de la empresa Estación de Servicios New Mejía E.I.R.L. Como técnica de recolección de datos se utilizó la encuesta, y el cuestionario como instrumento, todo ello con el propósito de lograr el objetivo general. Para el proceso analítico de los datos se utilizó el software SPSS. Por otro lado, los resultados fueron obtenidos a través del contraste de hipótesis utilizando el análisis estadístico no paramétrico, logrando evidenciar que efectivamente existe una relación entre la contabilidad gerencial y la toma de decisiones, la misma que es expresada a través del coeficiente de correlación Rho de Spearman dando un valor de 0, 872 (correlación muy buena) lo cual indica que cuanto mejor se realice la contabilidad gerencial, mejor ha de darse la toma de decisiones y viceversa. O objetivo geral da pesquisa foi determinar a relação da contabilidade gerencial com a tomada de decisão na empresa Estación de Servicios New Mejía E.I.R.L., Cutervo, 2021. O estudo foi de abordagem quantitativa, tipo aplicado, nível descritivo - correlacional, com um não- delineamento experimental transversal. Foi desenvolvido a partir de uma amostra composta por dez trabalhadores da empresa Estación de Servicios New Mejía E.I.R.L. Utilizou-se a pesquisa como técnica de coleta de dados e o questionário como instrumento, todos com a finalidade de atingir o objetivo geral. Para o processo analítico dos dados, foi utilizado o software SPSS. Por outro lado, os resultados foram obtidos através do contraste de hipóteses utilizando análise estatística não paramétrica, obtendo-se evidências de que de fato existe uma relação entre contabilidade gerencial e tomada de decisão, a mesma que é expressa através do coeficiente de correlação de Rho. valor de 0,872 (correlação muito boa) que indica que quanto melhor a contabilidade gerencial for feita, melhor deve ser a tomada de decisão e vice-versa.

Two different configurations are presented, with heat delivery at two temperature levels and power production by an organic Rankine cycle (ORC). In one system (cascade), the high temperature heat is taken from the exhaust after the ORC, while low temperature heat is taken from the ORC condenser. Alternatively, high and low temperature heat is taken from the exhaust gas before the ORC feeds on the remaining exhaust thermal energy (series system). Four different working fluids (three siloxanes, one refrigerant) are considered. In addition, the exergetic effects of the heat loads and heat source temperatures are investigated. The results revealed that MM and R124 are the best working fluids for the cascade and series system, respectively. A recuperated ORC in the series system improve the siloxane results, with MM as the best working fluid. Moreover, decreasing the ORC minimum pressure in the series system makes considerable improvement.

Rankine Cycles are an effective and efficient manner to convert waste thermal energy into power. Numerous fluids can be used in Rankine cycles, including water, hydrocarbons, hydrofluorocarbons, siloxanes, alcohols or even mixtures of fluids. The performance of Rankine cycles is highly dependent on the optimization of the operating conditions and the design of its components. The expander is, perhaps, the most important component of the Rankine cycle, as it is the device where the energy of the working fluid is converted into mechanical work. There are several expander technologies available, including axial, radial, and hybrid turbines, as well as positive displacement machines. The performance of Rankine cycles is greatly influenced by the efficiency of the expander and, as a result, the optimization of the expander is one of the critical tasks for the design of Rankine cycles. This work is focused on simple and recuperated Rankine cycles using axial turbines. A waste heat recovery case study was proposed, where the heat source is a 10 kg/s mass flow rate of hot air at 250 oC (with a low temperature limit of 100 oC) and the heat sink is liquid water at 10 oC. 80 pure substances from the REFPROP library were considered as possible working fluids and a screening methodology was developed for the selection of the working fluid. In addition, methodologies for the optimization of simple and recuperated Rankine cycles and axial turbines of any number of stages were developed and implemented in MATLAB. These methodologies were applied to the case study to find optimal Rankine cycles and axial turbine designs in order to identify possible research challenges within Rankine cycles and turbomachinery for waste heat recovery applications. In particular, it was found that the low speed of sound poses a challenge for the turbine design and that the usual assumption of using axial repeating stages may lead to unfeasible designs for the cases where the volume ratio across the turbine is high.
