Purpose: The present study examined the relationship between Malaysian students' life experiences while studying at higher education institutions in Malaysia and their employability after graduation. Design/methodology/approach: Using the cross-sectional method, 323 Malaysian graduates who graduated within three years upon graduation, both employed and unemployed, participated in this study. Since moving across the states was limited due to Malaysia Movement Control Order (MCO), the questionnaires were distributed using Google Form via Whatsapp (June-August 2021). Findings: The present study found that Malaysian graduates' experiences of studying overseas, staying at the hostel campus, being active with extra-curricular activities, being committee members in organising programmes at national level and being committee members in organising programmes at international level during their studies were positively related to their employability. Research limitations: This research studied only five (5) core factors on students' life experiences which may related to the chances of being highly employable after graduation. Future research should consider studying a few more factors on students' life experiences contributing to graduates' employability. Practical implications: The implication is more on the recent students of higher education institutions. By knowing the significance of these five factors that can contribute to their employability, the current students should strive to follow these five factors that may increase their chances to be employed in the future. Originality/value: This research is probably the first time that these five factors were studied empirically in the field of graduate employability. The results are important for the current students in the higher education institutions to realise the factors that may enhance their chances of employability. Keywords: Malaysian students and graduates, Students' life experiences, Graduates' employability, Introduction The global graduate skills gap in the 21st Century has been considered as a global and significantly widespread issue. - Abstract
Ulu Bendul Forest Eco Park is a popular destination among tourists whether domestic or international. It is situated in the state of Negeri Sembilan and is relatively near to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. In recent years, online reviews and comments by visitors to the park have been somewhat negative, however, there is no empirical study as of yet that investigates the satisfaction levels among visitors. Hence, this study was conducted to assess the satisfaction level among visitors of Ulu Bendul Forest Eco Park towards the existing facilities provided in the park. This study used an adapted version of the Customer Satisfaction Index to identify satisfaction levels among visitors dubbed the Visitor Satisfaction Index (VSI). The method for data collection is convenience sampling. A total of 150 respondents were surveyed between March and June 2020. After analysis, respondents were categorized into three groups based on their satisfaction index: low, intermediate and high satisfaction levels. Results indicate that the group with intermediate satisfaction level is highest in frequency among visitors, and this suggests that there are opportunities for improvement in terms of facilities in Ulu Bendul Forest Eco Park. Results also showed that the swimming pool and signage need improvement.

The internationalization of higher education over the last two decades has transformed the education sector into a globalized, interconnected knowledge-based society. Higher education institutions and national governments have been compelled to pay more attention to academic relations and knowledge exchange opportunities with partners in other countries, particularly in the same region. The current study aims to investigate the role of higher education internationalization in Southeast Asian nations (ASEAN) for the development of a more harmonized region. Previous research has revealed that less developed countries in the ASEAN region are far behind in the race to globalization and transformation of the education industry. Therefore, it is crucial to explore the policies and strategies enacted by the ASEAN administration and determine what it lacks to achieve this goal. An exploratory comparative approach has been used to identify and investigate recent internationalization trends in ASEAN member countries. The internationalization of higher education is a compelling and logical approach to increasing harmonization at the intra-regional and interregional levels.

- Abstract
Kg Tudan, a village with steep terrain and infertile soils located within the buffer area of Crocker Range Biosphere Reserve (CRBR) is requiring policy and socio-economic interventions. Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), through some funding from the Federal Government, has implemented the Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP) and MOSTI Social Innovation (MSI) for alternative uses of the mulberry products. The main objective of this study is to identify the missing links between biodiversity conservation and poverty alleviation. The study also identified factors that motivate the community's participation in the livelihood enhancement program coordinated through the KTP and MSI programs as well as the impacts of such programs on the protection of natural resources in Crocker Range Park. A qualitative interview of 35 respondents was conducted in Kg. Tudan, Kiulu, Tuaran. Based on the content analysis using Leximancer, the results revealed that the primary motivation of their participation is financial support, community enhancement through training program and certification, enhancement of facilities, the opportunity for employment, and cultural recognition. Findings also unearthed that only 3% of the respondents are still going to the forest to extract natural resources after implementing poverty alleviation projects. The findings can be deduced that social value is substantial in local community participation in poverty alleviation projects. Therefore, the study's outcome is crucial as preliminary discoveries of moving beyond the "conservation-poverty" debate towards on-the-ground implementation. Thus, contributing to addressing the knowledge gaps between biodiversity conservation and poverty alleviation of local communities.

- Abstract
Entomological ecotourism has developed into a modern-day definition. The promotion of entomological ecotourism makes people gaining a better understanding of insects when they participated such activity. Depending on the eco-tour context, one may learn about a particular insects’role in the ecosystem, insects’ connections with other wildlife, or the plants they depend on. Several studies reported the general preference of insects. However, there is still a lack of research for understanding the reason for similarities and differences in insects’ perceptions as a tourism product from a cultural aspect. This research aimed to study the key factors that affect tourists’ awareness and perception of insects based on their demographic profiles. The researcher used questionnaires, surveys, and interviews for data collection. The outcomes are illustrated in the form of conceptual map, quadrant report, spider-web configuration as well as tables. This cross-cultural study shows that there is little difference in perception and awareness between Malaysian and Non-Malaysian respondents. Respondents also show three main factors, such as ‘Knowledge’, ‘Experience’ and ‘Appearance’ that may cause different perceptions of insects other than their cultural background. Even though there are no significant differences between the respondents’ perceptions of insects, there are still some items among the respondents’ perceptions need to be considered. These items include the respondents’ perspective on diversity, behaviors, life cycle, and insects' appearance. Therefore, getting people to participate in entomological ecotourism, insects that fit tourists’ requirements such as beautiful, rare, and attractive, needs to be focused on. Hence, the findings are significant to share to ensure proper management of insects through entomological ecotourism or entotourism.

- Abstract
Natural hot springs are a common occurrence in Malaysia. These natural hot springs occur when water seeps into the earth and is heated by magma and pressure causes the water to rise again as a heated pool or hot springs. Some locals believe that these natural hot springs have curative effects and can cure skin ailments such as rashes, pimples and fungi infections. Whether this is true or not remains to be scientifically proven, but these places have become a magnet for tourists and those seeking healing. Some of Malaysia's natural hot springs have developed into modern tourists' attractions with shops, rest houses, restaurants and changing rooms built nearby to accommodate visitors who are interested by this natural phenomenon and the best example is the Poring Hot Springs, in Ranau, Sabah. Consequently, the objective of this paper is to briefly highlight the potential of Lojing's hot springs as nature tourism attraction for the state of Kelantan. This paper provides a broad insight into the demand for services and facilities, location and characteristics of Lojing's geothermal and natural mineral water resources, the opportunities available to expand and establish new facilities and an indication of the success of Sabah's developments with the potential to be replicated in Lojing. Based on the content analysis done using Leximancer, it is apparent that Lojing's hot spring requires intervention in terms of strategies that aimed at increasing tourist satisfaction. It is suggested that the theme "leisure" to be concentrated as the pull factor for Lojing hot spring-based tourism.

- Abstract
This research examined the psychological (perceived restoratives, emotion, stress, and mood) and physiological (blood pressure readings) effects of short-range visits to urban environments. Ninety participants visited two urban areas; Bukit Jalil Urban Park (a green space) and Bukit Jalil Urban Street (an urban a built-up city centre as a controlled environment) located in a tropical city Kuala Lumpur. Participants took a 20-minute leisure walk along the given routes in both the study areas. The findings indicate that the urban park has had an overall rehabilitative impact in contrast to the built-up environment. Overall, the positive emotion has increased, and mood disturbance has decreased in the metropolitan green area after the field experiment. The findings demonstrate that even short-term visits to urban parks decidedly influence stress reduction compared to an urban built-up city centre. However, both systolic and diastolic blood pressures decreased insignificantly after walking in the park. Similar variables such as their mental and physiological measures on other urban societies (i.e., working adults, population with hypertension, and their encounters) concerning the effect of a short walk with green ecology should be studied further.

- Abstract
In favour of the Big Five Invertebrates form the basis for ecosystem functioning but are typically neglected in ecotourism activities. Entotourism is introduced to elevate awareness about the potential of invertebrates and their conservation activity through tourism. Improved awareness via tourism activity can potentially lead to improved conservation practices. Yet, do tourists accept entotourism as another product of ecotourism? This study aims to determine the perception of tourists on entotourism activity in Sabah. We are implementing a mixed-method to acquire information needed via questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews. At the same time, we applied a random sampling technique to gain the respective respondents. Data analysis used a t-test to examine gender perception and presented via Spider-Web configuration. In comparison, we used content analysis via Leximancer for qualitative analysis. This study demonstrated that people have a slightly different perception of insects and awareness based on their gender. Results show that most participants responded positively to insect information, awareness and their interest in certain insects. Respondents also gave their support to entotourism, which provided them with some new knowledge about insects. The interview has also indicated a positive perception of invertebrate information as part of the entotourism concept included in ecotourism activity. In conclusion, tourists’ perception of entotourism activity unveils a significant potential for the inclusion of invertebrate into current and future ecotourism activity, especially in Sabah. Alternately, it can be applied as a preparatory step for better planning and execution of invertebrate’s conservation and entotourism activity.

CULTURAL pluralism , *STUDENT mobility , *CEREBRAL circulation , *FOREIGN study , *FOREIGN students - Abstract
The trends in higher education have changed tremendously over the past decade. Knowledge is now an asset that moves between countries. The profound effort generates the globalization of universities, students and niche research. Hence international mobility program are gaining popularity as it gives significant outcomes for its students who had experienced mobility exchange. It is apparent that mobility had prepared the students to contribute to the global workforce, establish global networks and join the brain global circulation. Mobility exchange is seen to be the driving force for the students who are not able to study abroad to obtain an international degree. It is also seen to be giving opportunities to students to become "international" or global by studying abroad for a semester, which is more affordable for most students. Realizing the importance of mobility exchange, ASEAN have now taken the initiatives to encourage mobility among students. The students are going to exchange program either to ASEAN countries or elsewhere across the globe with the mission to become a global citizen with a global mindset. In promoting internationalization across ASEAN, SEAMEO-RIHED via its Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) program has laid out its pathway for students to go for mobility exchange. The paper will discuss the journey of AIMS and how its platform has promoted the multicultural diversity and inclusivity across ASEAN and support the One ASEAN Community establishment. STUDENT mobility , *FOREIGN study , *FOREIGN students , *EMPLOYABILITY , *INTERNATIONAL travel , *SENSORY perception - Abstract
The multitude of existing research conducted within the field of study abroad generally reinforces the popular understanding that the practice not only broadens the mind, provides valuable experiences and enhances stagnating perspectives, but also contributes to a skillset that is becoming increasingly necessary for success in the globally focused world of today. Despite the evidence supporting their effectiveness, relatively few undergraduate students of Malaysia choose to participate in some form of study abroad programmes especially to the ASEAN countries. The following analysis will examine the potential reasoning of why this is so. In this context the focus is on the mobility programme on the short-term exchange and study abroad issues. Through the survey, this research examined the attitudes and inhibitions of undergraduate university students as they relate to studying abroad and to what extent these perceptions fall in line with the escalating importance of employability. Used as an exemplifying case of Asian Mobility for Students Programmes (AIMS), ten participating public universities under the AIMS-Malaysia furnished the sample of participants used in this study. Factors such as a student's previous international travel experience and awareness of available programmes are seen to influence these perceptions to some degree. The students highlighted the benefits of studying abroad as to have better understanding of cultural differences and new friends share the same highest mean. The students also developed their soft skills by being more independent, confident and improve their problem-solving skills. In addition, they also have better communication, self-assessment and personal skills. The finding also showed that the most important criteria that the alumni being hired for their first job after graduation are communication skills, high adaptability, analytical thinking and problem solving. These findings corroborate international student mobility programmes whilst providing additional insight through student testimony. Indeed, AIMS programme leverages the competency and employability of students, hence contributes to producing global citizens and ASEAN harmonization. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The advent of global and international dimensions in higher education has lifted the trends of students' and researcher's mobility around the globe. Identification and assessment of international students' drivers influencing their decisionmaking process of study destination are imperative to appeal to a larger number of international students. The present study aimed to examine the international students' motives in the selection of Malaysia as a study destination and the factors influencing their will to recommend Malaysia to their friends and relatives. A qualitative approach was employed and a total of 18 respondents were interviewed. Quality of education and cultural adoption were found as thekey concerned fascination for international students in choosing Malaysia as a study destination. Besides, the low cost of living and tuition fees, cultural adoption, environmental beauty, credibility, and international ranking of institutions also appeal to students in the selection of Malaysia. The findings revealed that most of the respondents are willing to recommend Malaysia to their friends and relatives, and the factors prompting their intention are educational cost and quality, available research facilities at institutions, the credibility of Malaysian universities, and low tuition fee for higher education. The results would offer the current trends to thegovernment and higher education institutions in offering an exclusive experienceto the existing and potential students and in achieving Malaysia's Vision-2025 of attracting 250,000 international students. The limitations and directions for future research have been provided. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The title solvated ester, C(22)H(29)NO(3)S·0.5C(6)H(14), crystallizes with two independent mol-ecules along with a hexane mol-ecule in the asymmetric unit. The two aromatic rings are separated by an -CH(2)-S- linkage; the rings are aligned at 83.27 (4)° in one mol-ecule and 47.66 (7)° in the other. The hy-droxy group of one mol-ecule forms an O-H⋯O hydrogen bond to the other mol-ecule.
