Denne artikel undersøger de kriterier, der ligger til grund for udarbejdelsenaf den tidligere navngivne Ghettoliste, der benyttes til at udpege udsatteboligområder. Artiklen belyser og diskuterer, hvorledes validiteten af matematisk modeller i samfundet har betydning for demokratiske beslutninger.Artiklen illustrerer, hvordan de matematiske begreber Gini-koefficientenog Lorenz-kurven kan benyttes som analyseværktøj til modellering af økonomisk ulighed. Afslutningsvis beskrives et undervisningsperspektiv tilgrundskolens matematikundervisning med fokus på elevernes oplevelse afrelevance samt brugen af digitale hjælpemidler.

Denne artikel behandler tilgange til modellering med udgangspunkt i en virkelig case omkring, hvorvidt en af forfatterne skal erstatte en ældre dieselbilmed en ny elbil. Arbejdet med denne problemstilling blev delt i to aspekter,der blev identificeret som vigtige i beslutningsprocessen. Den første er detøkonomiske aspekt, som behandler prisforskellen på de to handlinger.Det andet er det psykologiske aspekt, som behandler nogle udvalgtepsykologiske parametre, der kan være vigtige for beslutningsprocessen. Detvigtigste i dette punkt er forskellen på en forsigtig- og en risikovillig persontype.Modellerne viser, at ud fra et økonomisk og et psykologisk perspektiver det ikke på nuværende tidspunkt fordelagtigt for forfatteren at købe enelbil. Men disse konklusioner er blevet sværere at foretage på baggrund af den stigende usikkerhed på brændstofpriser og psykisk pres som grund afden nuværende verdenssituationen.

There is a growing interest in compassion within healthcare, as compassion has proven to enhance the well-being of health professionals, patient outcomes, and the quality of healthcare services offered to patients and their relatives. Most studies, including systematic reviews, have addressed the impact of compassion at the individual level. The right environmental circumstances, however, influence the ability to cultivate compassion for the individual health professional. Therefore, this systematic review aims to assess the evidence of compassion-based (empathy, sympathy, kindness, and generosity) interventions addressed at a cultural/organisational level within healthcare., Funding Odense University Hospital, University of Southern Denmark, Hans Christian Andersen Children's Hospital, Lizzi and Mogens Staal Foundation, LEGO Employee's Anniversary Foundation, and Family Hede Nielsens Foundation.

The kinesin-3 motor KIF13B functions in endocytosis, vesicle transport and regulation of ciliary length and signaling. Direct binding of the membrane-associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) DLG1 to the MAGUK-binding stalk domain of KIF13B relieves motor autoinhibition and promotes microtubule plus-end-directed cargo transport. Here, we characterize angiomotin (AMOT) isoform 2 (p80, referred to as Ap80) as a novel KIF13B interactor that promotes binding of another MAGUK, the polarity protein and Crumbs complex component PALS1, to KIF13B. Live-cell imaging analysis indicated that Ap80 is concentrated at and recruits PALS1 to the base of the primary cilium, but is not a cargo of KIF13B itself. Consistent with a ciliary function for Ap80, its depletion led to elongated primary cilia and reduced agonist-induced ciliary accumulation of SMO, a key component of the Hedgehog signaling pathway, whereas Ap80 overexpression caused ciliary shortening. Our results suggest that Ap80 activates KIF13B cargo binding at the base of the primary cilium to regulate ciliary length, composition and signaling. Skolefravær og frafall har de siste årene fått stor oppmerksomhet i media og blant forskere. Skoler og PPT rapporterer om økt skolefravær blant barn og unge, dette gjelder særlig skolevegring. Barn og unge er samfunnets største og viktigste ressurs. Skolen og lærerne må individuelt legge til rette for at alle elever skal utvikle seg best mulig, men skolen er ikke alene om dette (Havik, 2018, s. 16). Jeg har i dette forskningsprosjektet undersøkt følgende problemstilling: «Hvilke kritiske faktorer påvirker rådgivers handlingskompetanse i møte med elever som har/viser tegn til skolevegring på ungdomstrinnet?» For å besvare problemstillingen har jeg utarbeidet tre forskningsspørsmål: 1. Hvilke forståelse har rådgivere for skolevegring? 2. Hvilke kompetanse anser rådgivere som verdifulle i arbeidet med tiltakene som blir iverksatt for eleven, og kommer denne kompetansen til syne i handlingsplanen? 3. Hvordan erfarer rådgivere samarbeidet med hjemmet, skolen og eksterne instanser? Studiens metodiske tilnærming er en kvantitativ og kvalitativ spørreundersøkelse, der en elektronisk spørreundersøkelse ble sendt til rådgivere i en større kommune i Norge. Teorien jeg drøfter og analysere ut fra er et systemisk perspektiv med utgangspunkt i Urie Bronfenbrenner utviklingsøkologiske modell og Batesons kommunikasjonsteori, Bergen kommunes håndbok ved bekymringsfullt skolefravær samt skolepolitiske dokumenter. Resultatene er analysert og drøftet på bakgrunn av de tre nevnte forskningsspørsmålene. For å forstå skolevegring og dens kompleksitet er det behov for kunnskap og fagspesifikk kompetanse. Profesjonsfellesskapet er viktig for å utveksle erfaring og kunnskap slik at vi kan få en kompetanseheving ikke bare individuelt, men også i personalet. I arbeidet med skolevegring er det utfordrende for alle som er involvert: eleven selv, kontaktlærer, foresatte, ansatte ved skolen og eventuelle fagpersoner i støtteapparatet. Godt samarbeid med eleven selv, mellom skole og hjem, internt og eksternt er helt avgjørende for å iverksette gode tiltak som kan hjelpe eleven tilbake til skolen. Den innhentede dataen belyser blant annet informantenes forståelse av skolevegring, innsikt i deres kompetanse og hvordan de erfarer samarbeid med hjemmet, internt og eksternt. Abstract: School absenteeism and dropout have in recent years received much attention in the media and among researchers. Schools have reported increased school absenteeism among children and young people, this applies in particular to school refusal. Children and young people are society's largest and most important resource. The school and the teachers must individually make arrangements for all pupils to develop in the best possible way, but the school is not alone in this (Havik, 2018, p. 16). In this research project, I have investigated the following thesis: «What critical factors affect the counselor's action competence in meetings with students who have/show signs of school refusal at junior high school?» To answer the thesis, I have prepared three research questions: 1. What understanding do counselors have about school refusal? 2. What competence do counselors consider valuable in working with the measures that are implemented for the student, and does this competence appear in the action plan? 3. How do counselors experience collaboration with the home, school, and external agencies? The study's methodological approach is a quantitative and qualitative questionnaire, in which an electronic questionnaire was sent to advisers in a larger municipality in Norway. The theory I discuss and analyze from is a systemic perspective based on Urie Bronfenbrenner's ecological model and Bateson's communication theory, Bergen municipality's handbook on worrying school absenteeism and school policy documents. The results have been analyzed and discussed on the basis of the three mentioned research questions. To understand school refusal and its complexity, there is a need for knowledge and subject-specific competence. The professional community is important for exchanging experience and knowledge so that we can have an increase in competence not only individually, but also in the staff. Dealing with school refusal is challenging for everyone involved: the student, the contact teacher, parents, staff at the school and any professionals in the support system. Good cooperation with the student, between school and home, internally and externally is absolutely crucial for implementing good measures that can help the student return to school. The data obtained sheds light on, among other things, the informants' understanding of school refusal, insight into their competence and how they experience collaboration with the home, internally and externally.

Advanced radiotherapy techniques, which plan and deliver a treatment in complicated 3D geometries with steep dose gradients, push 3D dosimetry with correspondingly high spatial resolution to the top of scientific and clinical agendas. This paper presents the first steps taken towards an inexpensive and reusable material for 3D dosimetry based on optically stimulated luminescence (OSL). Carbon-doped alumina (Al 2O 3:C) nanoparticles were synthesized using supercritical flow synthesis, in which product properties can be finely controlled. The particles were characterized using electron microscopy and powder x-ray diffraction. C-doping did not alter the crystallographic structure appreciably, and a high elemental signal from C could be measured. Nanoparticles of amorphous γγ-Al 2O 3:C were achieved, however calcining these to produce the OSL-relevant αα-phase yielded microparticles. Future work will aim at producing phase-pure αα-Al 2O 3:C nanoparticles with a narrow size distribution below 10 nm, and controllable C-concentration and O-deficiency.

With the introduction of highly conformal treatment modalities, dose verification in 3D is becoming more important than ever for patient-specific quality assurance of radiotherapy. Reusability of 3D dosimeters may be the path to cope with the cost-benefit issues caused by batch-to-batch fluctuations and intense calibration protocols in existing 3D systems. We present the idea of an envisioned (optically stimulated luminescence) OSL-based 3D readout system, which exploits the inherently reusable dosimetry properties of OSL. We provide the emission spectra of the OSL active material LiF:Mg,Cu,P (MCP) for three stimulation wavelengths (460 nm, 532 nm, and 664 nm), and summarize recently published optical characterization results to highlight the requirements of a readout system for an MCP-based dosimeter.
