The temporomandibular joint can be affected by various conditions, such as joint dysfunction, degenerative changes, inflammatory processes, infections, tumors, and trauma. The aim of this pictorial essay is to help radiologists identify and describe the main findings on magnetic resonance imaging evaluation of the temporomandibular joint, given that the correct diagnosis is essential for the appropriate treatment of patients with temporomandibular joint disorders. Ovarian cancer (OC) is the leading cause of gynecological cancer death, and most cases are diagnosed at advanced stages due to a nonspecific and insidious clinical presentation. Radiologists play a critical role in the decision of which patients are candidates for primary debulking surgery and who may benefit from neoadjuvant chemotherapy. This pictorial review summarizes the dissemination patterns of OC, main imaging findings of metastatic disease, and which findings may alter the treatment plan or predict suboptimal tumor resection.
