Objective To investigate the predictive function of miR-200c level in peripheral blood on acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD) after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Methods Fifty-one patients who received allo-HSCT in hematology department of our hospital from January 2014 to October 2018 were selected as the research subjects. According to the principle of whether agVHD occurred after transplantation, 33 patients were in the experimental group (with aGVHD) and 18 patients were in the control group (without aGVHD). RT-qPCR was used to detect miR-200c in two groups and the differences in miR-200c expression between the two groups were analyzed. Results The transplantation was successful in both groups, and the hematopoietic function was restored. The recovery time was 18 days, among which 33 patients developed aGVHD and 18 patients did not develop aGVHD, with an incidence of 64.71%. The expression of miR-200c in experimental group was lower than that in control group before transplantation and 7, 14, and 72 d after transplantation (P＜0.05). MiR-200c in peripheral blood after the occurrence of aGVHD was significantly lower than that before the occurrence(P＜0.001). Compared with aGVHD Ⅱ, the expression of miR-200c in peripheral blood of aGVHD Ⅱ patients was down-regulated (P＜0.05); as compared with aGVHD Ⅲ patients, the expression of miR-200c in peripheral blood of aGVHD Ⅲ patients was down-regulated (P＜0.001); the 2-year survival rate in the high expression group of miR-200c was higher than that in the low expression group (P＜0.05). Conclusions The reduced level of miR-200c is associated with the occurrence of aGVHD after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. With the increase of the severity of aGVHD the expression level of miR-200c is decreased, and the survival rate of patients with low miR-200c expression is low, so the expression of miR-200 is a potential marker for early diagnosis and prediction of aGVHD.

To characterize the ultraphytoplankton community structure and understand its succession, we investigated photosynthetic pigment concentration and composition; algae phyla composition and abundance; and environmental factors in Xiangxi Bay (XXB) from February to December 2013. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analyses revealed eight diagnostic pigments: Fucoxanthin, Neoxanthin, Violaxanthin, Alloxanthin, Lutein, Zeaxanthin, Chlorophyll b and Chlorophyll a. The temporal differences between seven of the pigments (all excepting Neoxanthin) were significant (P< 0.05), and there were no significant spatial differences between the eight pigments (P> 0.05). A chemical taxonomy (CHEMTAX) calculation identified seven phyla of ultraphytoplankton: cryptophytes, chlorophytes, cyanobacteria, diatoms, euglenophytes, chrysophytes, and dinoflagellates. The temporal differences between five of the phyla (except chlorophytes and euglenophytes) were significant (P< 0.05), and there was no significant spatial difference between the seven phyla (P> 0.05). The redundancy analyses demonstrated that the key environmental factors for the succession were N-NH4+and P-PO43–. Application of the HPLC-CHEMTAX method has provided the first analysis of ultraphytoplankton community structure in XXB, and our findings also show that environmental factors influence the succession of ultraphytoplankton over time. Background: Given the increasing number of patients who require dual antiplatelet (DAP) therapy and electrophysiological device (EPD) placement, perioperative antiplatelet management is a current challenge. In this study, we investigated the incidence of pocket hematoma formation after EPD placement in patients undergoing DAP therapy or an alternative low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) regimen., Methods: This clinical observational study was performed from July 2010 to July 2012. In total, 171 patients were enrolled in the analysis after meeting the inclusion criteria. These patients were divided into two groups: 86 patients were treated with DAP therapy at the time of device implantation, and the DAP therapy was discontinued for 5 to 7 days and replaced with enoxaparin before device implantation in the other 85 patients. Adenosine phosphate (ADP)-mediated platelet aggregation and arachidonic acid-induced platelet aggregation were tested preoperatively. We compared the incidence of pocket hematoma between the two groups and the association of pocket hematoma development with ADP-mediated platelet aggregation and arachidonic acid-induced platelet aggregation., Results: The incidence of pocket hematoma in the patients who continued DAP was lower than that in the patients who replaced the dual antiplatelet regimen with LMWH (3.49% vs. 16.47%, respectively; X (2) = 6.66, P < 0.01). Among the patients who continued DAP therapies, the rate of ADP-mediated platelet aggregation inhibition in patients with pocket hematomas was higher than that in patients without pocket hematomas. None of the patients undergoing DAP or enoxaparin therapy developed pocket infection, thromboembolic events, or other serious complications. Multiple logistic regression analysis revealed that LMWH therapy was an independent risk factor for the development of pocket hematoma (RR = 0.054, 95%CI = 0.012-0.251). Furthermore, patients undergoing LMWH therapy were 5.1-fold more likely to develop pocket hematomas than were DAP-treated individuals., Conclusion: Continuance of DAP therapy does not increase the risk of pocket hematoma formation after EPD placement.
