The French linguistic theory poststructuralism is threatening women's place in history. The main features of poststructuralism are opaque language, the non-use of chronology and political-orientation. Supporters of poststructuralism have resurrected a theme already in use in women's studies, gender studies. They seek to make this a separate area which will cancel out the relevance of female studies.

Abstract

The article summarizes the argument of U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts on the mandate under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2012 (PPACA) which requires most Americans to ensure that they have insurance coverage that meets federal standards and failure to comply with this mandate would result in a penalty. Among Roberts' arguments are, that the mandate is not a tax under the Anti-Injunction Act (AIA), that the mandate is a tax for constitutional purposes and that the Court can characterize what Congress enacted.

Bu röportaj Roger Chapman tarafından 2015 yılının Kasım ayında gerçekleştirilmiştir, Joan Hoff, currently Research Professor of History at Montana State University, is a recognized expert on the modern American presidency. She has served as president and CEO of the Center for the Study of the President as well as executive director of the Organization of American Historians OAH . Hoff’s 1994 acclaimed work, Nixon Reconsidered, argues that Nixon should primarily be remembered for his domestic policies with less stress on foreign affairs and even Watergate.
