Land that is displaced due to seawater intrusion is very much found in Indonesia, even in the world, usually rice fields adjacent to ponds. This study aims to try wasteland for the cultivation of rice and tiger shrimp with a brackish water system. The land used belongs to a farmer group that has not been used for the past ten years due to seawater intrusion, located in Oring Hamlet, Lawallu Village, Barru Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. Owners leave their lands unproductive, often even diverted to anthropogenic activities. The abandoned land was reconstructed into rice fields for rice crops and trenches for tiger shrimp cultivation. The rice seeds used are saline tolerant, namely the INPARI-34 and INPARI-35 varieties obtained from the Sukamandi Indonesia Rice Seed Center, Ministry of Agriculture. Planted in the rice field after seeding for 25 days. Tiger shrimp post larvae have been adapted for 30 days at a salinity of 7 − 5 ppt (low salinity), with a dense spread of 4 individuals per m2 (traditional plus system). Integrated maintenance of rice and tiger shrimp, following the cultivation procedures, namely, rice weeding, eradication of rice pests and tiger shrimp, and additional fertilization. A sampling of rice and tiger shrimp growth and water quality selection is carried out every 14 days. The results showed that saline-tolerant rice varieties INPARI 34 and INPARI 35 can grow well in saltwater-induced fields with a rice maintenance period of 105 days. Tiger shrimp cultivation integrated with salt-tolerant rice varieties produces a survival value of 20%, and a body weight of 12 grams/individu for 65 days of cultivation.

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) contaminants have toxic, carcinogenic, and mutagenic properties. Screening bacteria from different sources capable of carrying out the biodegradation of (PAHs) is essential for mapping and mobilization purposes and applying them to polluted hydrocarbon environments. The study aims to compare the capacity of PAH biodegradation by two types of bacteria isolated from different sources. The method applied is the interaction between bacterial suspension and pyrene-contaminated waste for 30 days. Biodegradation products in organic compounds were analyzed using gas chromatography/mass spectroscopy (GC/MS) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The analysis results found several indications of the performance of bacterial biodegradation: The capacity of pyrene degradation by Bacillus licheniformis strain ATCC 9789 (Bl) bacteria against pyrene was relatively more dominant than Sphingobacterium sp. strain 21 (Sb) bacteria. The percentage of total bacterial biodegradation for product type Sb was (39.00%), and that of the product of bacterial degradation type Bl (38.29%). The biodegradation products of the test bacteria (Bl and Sb) were relatively similar to pyrene in the form of alcohol and carboxylic acid organic compounds. There was no significant difference in the pyrene biodegradation between Bl and Sb bacteria.

Pemanfaatan teknologi telpon genggam dalam dunia da’wah seharusnya bukan hanya sebatas pada penggunaaan konunikasi personal, akan tetapi lebih lanjut harus dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan pelayanan informsi yang lebih luas, oleh karena itu perlu drancang sistem informasi mubaligh. Metode penelitian dalam rangka merancang sistem informasi mubaligh ini adalah menggunakan metode action research, yaitu mengembangkan sistem yang ada dengan sistem baru yang lebih baik. Metode ini didukung dengan peralatan mobile phone berbasis web dan pengumpulan datanya menggunakan pengumpulan dokumen, pengamatan, wawancara dan kuisioner. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi mubaligh ini dapat diakses melalui handphone dengan berbagai macam informasi tentang masjid-masjid sebagai tempat da’wah, data mubaligh, aneka kegiatan muballigh di masjid-masjid dan informasi untuk muballigh, sehingga ummat dapat mengetahui siapa siapa muballigh yang akan bertugas menjadi khatib atau penceramah di masjidnya.

A quality marine ecosystem if it is free from GTP contaminants. Accuracy and caution are needed in the exploitation of marine resources as marine tourism destinations so that in the future, there will be no ecological hazards that cause chain effects, not only on aquatic ecosystems but also on humans. This article identifies exposure to GTP (MP, PAH, PR, HM, MW) in marine ecosystems in the MTA area and BCI waters. The combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods uses a combination of analytical instruments and mathematical formulas. The search results show the average total abundance of MP in seawater and fish samples (5.47 units/m3) and (7.03 units/m3), respectively, while in sediment and sponge samples (8.18 units/m3) and (8.32 units/m3). Based on the analysis of the polymer structure, it was identified that the dominant light group MP (PE, PP and PS), followed by PA and PC. Several PAH pollutants were identified in the samples, especially NL types found in all samples, followed by PN and AZ. BCI sea waters are suspected to be exposed to MW and PR. Pollutants of Pb+2 and Cu+2 around BCI were successfully calculated with average concentrations in seawater 0.164 mg/L and 0.294 mg/L, respectively, while in fish, 1.8110 µg/g and 2,452 µg/g, respectively. Based on these findings, the BCI area is not recommended as a marine tourism destination.

Pendidikan pranikah merupakan bentuk kepedulian nyata pemerintah terhadap tingginya angka perceraian dan kasus KDRT di Indonesia. Upaya dan kerja keras pemerintah untuk mensosialisasikan agar keluarga bisa memahami dan menerima konsep tujuan keluarga sakinah, dengan cara mengikuti pelatihan kursus pranikah. Materi kursus pranikah diberikan 16 jam pelajaran. Hal tersebut tidak sesuai dengan realitas di lapangan, selain itu model pembelajaran kursus pranikah juga dilakukan secara tradisional konvensional. Olehnya itu untuk menunjang terselenggaranya pendidikan pranikah yang efektif dan efisien maka dibutuhkan suatu inovasi baru untuk meningkatkan minat belajar calon pengantin dalam kegiatan pembelajaran kursus pranikah, dengan pemanfaatan teknologi mobile learning pranikah.Metode Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metodologi berorientasi objek, dengan mengimplementasikan diagram-daigram UML sebagai pemodelan fungsional, menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Javascript, bahasa backserver database dengan php, serta menggunakan jQuery mobile sebagai pengembang interface. Latar belakang: Stres dapat menimpa berbagai profesi dan pekerjaan. Guru sekolah dasar merupakan salah satu profesi yang rentan terhadap stres. Stres ini dapat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, oleh karena itu stress harus diatasi. Salah satu cara untuk menurunkan stres adalah relaksasi dengan terapi musik. Bagian dari terapi musik adalah Guided Imagery and Music (GIM). Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh relaksasi GIM terhadap stres guru sekolah dasar negeri di kabupaten Sekadau, Kalimantan barat. Metode: 40 orang responden guru diikut sertakan dalam penelitian ini melalui cluster random sampling. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode quasi eksperiment pre-post dengan grup kontrol. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi karakteristik individu dan masa kerja, stressor kerja (menggunakan kuesioner SDS) dan stres guru (menggunakan kuesioner SCL-90). Relaksasi GIM diberikan sebanyak 5 sesi dalam waktu ±20 menit setiap sesi selama 1 minggu. Hasil: 77.5% responden memiliki tingkat stress sedang pada stressor beban pekerjaan kualitatif berlebih. Penilaian awal stress didapatkan 77.5% responden mengalami gejala psikopatologi dengan gejala terbanyak adalah obsesi-kompulsif (27.5%). Terdapat penurunan rerata stres yang bermakna pada guru SD yang mendapat relaksasi GIM dengan perbedaan mean 3.00±6.29 (p=0.046) dan peningkatan rerata stress pada kelompok kontrol -1.45±7.72 (p=0.412). Kesimpulan: Intervensi GIM berpengaruh terhadap penurunan tingkat stress pada guru SD yang menjalani relaksasi GIM. Primary school teachers are one of the most vulnerable profession to have stress. Stress may impact on teachers’ performance and therefore must be treated. One of the ways to alleviate stress is relaxation by musical theraphy. A part of musical theraphy is Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) relaxation. The purpose of the research is to know the influence of GIM relaxation method on stress’ level of primary school teachers in district Sekadau, West Kalimantan. Methods: 40 teachers participated in this research and were chosen by cluster random sampling method. The study design was pre-post quasi experiment with control group. The collected data included respondents’ individual characteristics and length-of-employment, work stressors (using SDS questionnaire) and teachers’ stress (using SCL-90 questionnaire). GIM relaxation method was provided in 5 sessions where conducted for 20 minutes during the period of one week. Results: 77.5% of respondents have medium stress levels, which were excessive qualitative workloads stressors. In early stress assessment, 77.5% respondent showed psychopatology symptoms, where the most frequent symptom was obsessive-compulsive (27.5%). There was a significant decrease in stress level in primary school teachers who received the GIM relaxation with a mean difference of 3.00±6.29 (p=0.046) and an increase of stress’ level in control group with a mean difference of -1.45±7.72 (p=0.412). Conclusion: GIM intervention has an effect on reducing stress level in primary school teachers who have undergone GIM relaxation. Surgical procedures frequently need blood transfusion. However, the blood demand is frequently excessive without an appropriateneed analysis. The high percentage of canceled and returned blood indicates the ineffective use of blood transfusion. To know theappropriateness of blood demand for surgery preparation at the Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo General Hospital the researchers analyzedhis matter. This study was an observational study with cross sectional approach. The data of the blood demand for surgery preparationwere obtained from the blood bank of the Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo General Hospital, Makassar during August up to November 2013.The data were grouped based on the number of blood demand and the quantity of canceled and returned blood, these were then analyzedby SPSS software. The total of samples which were identified was about 1599 with 3829 blood demands. The quantity of canceled bloodwas1915 and the returned blood was 730. The demand of blood products indicated that whole blood was 2340 (61.3%), PRC 1392(36.4%), platelets 83 (2.2%) and FFP 5 (0.1%). The highest blood demand was observed in the General Surgery Department 797(20.9%). The difference between blood demand and the returned blood quantity (for whole blood and PRC) was analyzed statisticallyand indicated a significant result (p=0.000), this meant that there was a mismatch between blood demand number and the returnedblood quantity. This matter could reflect the ineffective use of blood transfusion.

Kepiting Bakau Scylla olivacea merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis yang sangat tinggi. Kendala yang dihadapi dalam kegiatan perbenihan kepiting bakau adalah masih tingginya tingkat mortalitas. Tujuan penelitan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh hormon ecdyson terhadap sintasan dan periode moulting pada larva kepiting bakau Scylla olivacea. Penelitian dilakukan di Unit Stasiun Pembenihan Kepiting Maranak Balai Riset Perikanan Budidaya Air Payau dan Penyuluhan Perikanan (BRPBAP3) Maros, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Hewan uji berupa larva kepiting bakau Scylla spp. stadia zoea. Pakan uji dalam penelitian berupa rotifer dan Artemia yang dilakukan pengkayaan dengan hormon ecdyson. Wadah penelitian berupa akuarium 110 L berjumlah 12 buah yang diisi dengan air sebanyak 100 L, air bersalinitas 28-30 ppt dengan kepadatan larva sebanyak 50 ekor/L. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah berbagai dosis hormon ecdyson dalam pakan, yakni A= 0 mg/L; B= 0,5 mg/L; C= 1 mg/L; dan D= 1,5 mg/L; dengan tiga kali ulangan. Parameter yang diukur adalah sintasan dan periode moulting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan dosis hormon ecdyson memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap sintasan dan periode moulting larva kepiting bakau.Mud crab, Scylla olivacea is one of highly valued and sought-after fishery commodities. Despite its high economic value, mud crab culture still faces a problem in producing high-quality seed which is high mortality rate post-spawning. The study aim was to evaluate the effect of the Ecdyson hormone on the survival rate and molting period of the mud crab larvae. The study was conducted at the Maranak Crab Seedling, BRPBAP3 Maros, South Sulawesi Province. The trial used mud crabs larvae that were in zoea stage. The trial feed was given in the form of Rotifer and Artemia enriched with the Ecdyson hormone. Twelve 110-liter aquaria were filled with 100 L of 28-30 ppt of seawater. The stocking density of mud crab seed was 50 larvae/L. The treatments consisted different doses of Ecdyson hormone in the feed, i.e. A= 0 mg/L, B= 0.5 mg/L, C= 1 mg/L, and D= 1.5 mg/L, with three replications for each treatment. The parameters measured were survival rate and molting period. The results showed that the treatment of Ecdyson hormone doses gave a good effect on the survival rate and molting period of mud crab larvae.

Murbei terbukti mampu mempercepat moulting pada insekta (ulat sutera). Persamaan filum (Arthropoda) antara kepiting dan ulat sutra memungkinkan efek mekanisme kerja ecdysteron (ECD) daun murbei pada fase moulting ulat sutra juga bekerja pada fase moulting kepiting bakau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan isolasi dan identifikasi kandungan ECD pada tanaman murbei. Selanjutnya pemanfaatan ekstrak daun murbei sebagai moulting stimulan pada kepiting bakau. ECD dari daun murbei diperoleh melalui isolasi, pemurnian, serta identifikasi secara spektroskopi antara lain pengukuran panjang gelombang sinar ultra violet dan spektrum infra merah untuk menentukan gugus fungsi. Kandungan ECD pada kepiting dari setiap fase moulting dilakukan melalui ekstraksi pada hemolimp menggunakan pelarut diethyl ether kemudian diukur menggunakan High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan kandungan ECD pada tanaman murbei Morus spp. diperoleh pada fraksi kedua (1.058,62 mg/L) dan ketiga (1.088,4 mg/L). Sedangkan kandungan ecdysteron pada haemolimp yang paling tinggi pada fase sebelum moulting (4,53 mg/L) dan sesudah moulting (2,52 mg/L). Aplikasi ecdysteron pada kepiting bakau melalui penyuntikan memperlihatkan dosis yang paling optimal pada 100 mg/L ECD.

Rumput laut Gracilaria verrucosa asal Kabupaten Sinjai memiliki kualitas paling rendah di antara semua sentra produksi Gracilaria sp. di Sulawesi Selatan. Interspecific hybridization of mud crab Scylla spp has been successfully conducted in controlled tanks. However, there is no information yet available about the male size S. tranquebarica is capable to copulate with female of S. olivacea . The objectives of the experiment is to find out the male size of S. tranquebarica that willingly copulated with newly molted female of S. olivacea . Twelve individual of adolescent female of S. olivacea were reared individually in the conical fibreglass tanks each of 400 L volume. In another tank, 12 adult male S. tranquebarica with various size (200-400g/ind.) were also prepared. The crabs fed with chopped trash fish in the morning (7.00 am) and afternoon (17.00 pm) at 5% of the total crab biomass. Each newly molted female is transfered to the copulation tank and three male of different size also stocked at the copulation tank, then wait until one of the three male do copulation with female new molt. The size of copulated crabs (body weight, carapace with, and carapace length) were recorded. The female crabs sizes were measured before and after molting, whereas, the male crab sizes were measured soon after mating process has finished. Post mating, the female crab then reared individually in the tank until spawned. A part of S. tranquebarica crablet offspring produced from larvae rearing often grows faster than the others. The research aimed to monitor larvae development and compared the growth between fast and slow growth crablet offspring. Hatched larvae reared until crablet stage with production 4848 individual. 600 individual were weighted and measured carapace width. The data figured as a normal distribution curve. 700 ind. of fast growth crablet with carapace width 15.2 + 1.29 mm and body weight 0.55 + 0.15 g/ind. were selected. The others 700 individual slow growth crablet, carapace width 8.88 + 3.11 mm and body weight 0.14 + 0.08 g/individual were selected also. The effects of an artificial commercial feed supplementation on larval rearing and crablet production of mud crab Scylla tranquebarica. In mass production of mud crab seeds, only rotifer and Artemia nauplii are usually fed to mud crab larvae rearing until the larvae develop to crablet stage. The supplementation of artificial commercial feed from zoea-3 stage is expected to supply an essential nutrient required for an optimum larval development. The research used design models which were developed by Kemmis & Mc. Taggart consisted of four components included: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The researchers planned and established action types which would be done, that were: student practiced together by masks, and watched a Topeng Gunungsari Dance performance by video recording routinely. The research result of dance studying was that by the practiced and watched a Topeng Gunungsari Dance video recording routinely could improve dancing abilities of Topeng Gunungsari dance. Pakan alami berupa mikroalga merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung dalam keberhasilan usaha pembenihan udang windu, Penaeus monodon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis pakan alami, Chaetoceros spp., yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan sintasan larva udang windu. Penelitian ini menggunakan 15 buah bak fiber berukuran 60 cm x 40 cm x 50 cm dengan volume 120 liter yang disi air sebanyak 100 liter. Kepadatan naupli adalah 90 ekor/liter atau 9.000 ekor/bak dan lima jenis pakan alami Chaetoceros spp. yang diuji yaitu: Chaetoceros simplex, Chaetoceros ceratosporum, Chaetoceros calcitrans, Chaetoceros amami, dan Chaetoceros gracilis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi kelima jenis pakan alami memberikan laju perkembangan larva yang relatif sama sampai stadia PL-1. Aplikasi Chaetoceros gracilis memberikan sintasan larva udang windu tertinggi yaitu 41,48% dan dengan Chaetoceros simplex memberikan sintasan larva terendah (28,02%). Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa aplikasi Chaetoceros spp. yang berbeda pada pemeliharaan larva berpengaruh terhadap sintasan larva udang windu, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap laju metamorfosis larva. Aplikasi Chaetoceros gracilis sebagai pakan alami adalah terbaik untuk sintasan larva udang windu.
