The process of protecting the accessibility,  reliability, and secrecy of information is called Information security. We see a great increase in accessing of computer databases for stored information. Increasing number of companies are storing individual and business information on computers. Most of this information is not meant for the public eyes and is very sensitive. The following paper discusses the development of a block cipher based cryptographic algorithm that uses the logical gates like XOR and other shifting operations. The results of the experiment prove the algorithm to be efficient and secure.

An organizations flexibility, effectiveness and competitiveness can be improved through TQM. We can find a number of organization who have utilized TQM in order to achieve growth and cost effectiveness, we can also find some business that have not been so successful in realizing the benefit of TQM. There has been ample research done on the reason of the failure of TQM implementation in organizations and some of the reason for failure are quoted as: low employee involvement; no support from senior management and scarcity of resources. Whereas there are a number of other factors that have been covered by very few researchers, like lack of proper communication and handling of the transformation brought in the organization, improper training and awareness methods; that lead to failure of TQM in any organization. There were a number of studies done for evaluating the process of successful implementation of TQM in SMB manufacturing companies and this paper would cover such an exercise performed in three small companies. The areas where the implementation bought improvement were Administrative Procedures, Product Quality, Cost effectiveness and employee motivation, and the aspects that were still found to be weak were team building, continual improvement in quality and technical training.

The following paper highlights the domination of quality service and adaptation of Total Quality Management in the service Industry. It tries to explain that along with the increasing awareness in the society in respect to culture, education and the living standard, there is an increasing demand for quality service. It is one of the factors that is forcing the service industry to adopt TQM (total quality management) as the measures to improving quality of service. It has been observed that TQM is being accepted increasingly in the last decade by the service sector which clearly signifies that service quality is treated as a crucial factor for survival, Success & growth by the companies. This has led to an increased interest in service quality recently, and TQM concepts increasingly being applied in literature for service sector

Nowadays most of known organizations are obsessed with product and service quality since customer's orientation has been shifted from product & service price to its quality. Thus, most of the organizations are willing to adopt the TQM concept and processes in order to achieve their objectives, meet their customer's expectations and attain competitive advantage. TQM is a management philosophy that seeks to integrate all organizational functions to focus on meeting customer needs and organizational objectives. In this paper we will highlight the organization role and the support of the employees to reach the maximum degree of the TQM. We will also describe some Asian TQM case studies in order to summarize the most important factors for successful TQM implementation.
