Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of microsurgery on patients with severe aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SaSAH). Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 14 SaSAH patients admitted to Beijing Chao-Yang Hospital, Capital Medical University from December 2017 to November 2019. General information, Hunt Hess grading, Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), time of rebleeding, surgery time, examination method, aneurysm size, prognosis, and postoperative follow-up were collected. Results A total of 14 patients with SaSAH were enrolled, including 5 males and 9 females, 8 patients with Hunt-Hess grade Ⅳ and 6 with grade Ⅴ. Seven cases experienced rebleeding after admission, with an average time between the onset of symptoms and rebleeding being 11.21 hours. Intracranial aneurysm rupture was confirmed by computed tomography angiography (CTA) or digital subtraction angiography (DSA) before operation in 13 cases. All 14 patients underwent microsurgical aneurysm clipping after definite diagnosis. There were 5 cases of transtentorial herniation and 3 cases of subfalcine herniation. Bone flaps were removed during surgery for all patients with cerebral herniation. In 14 cases, Glasgow prognostic score (GOS) was 4 in 2 cases, 3 in 3 cases, 2 in 7 cases, and 1 in 2 case at 6 months follow-up. Conclusion Treating SaSAH responsible aneurysms within 24 hours is an important principle for preventing intracranial rebleeding, reducing mortality, and improving prognosis. Microsurgery remains an important method for treating SaSAH, especially for patients with intracranial hematoma and progressive intracranial hypertension."

This article reviewed the status quo of Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing for diabetic patients in recent years, aiming to play a positive role in improving Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing for diabetic patients and controlling the condition of diabetes. Managing community cats in urban China is a contentious and emerging issue, with debates centering on the most effective and humane approaches. This study aimed to investigate public attitudes towards community cats and various management strategies. A survey was conducted involving 5382 urban residents in China. Their attitudes towards the positive and negative roles of community cats in urban areas and their support for different management methods were examined, including trap-and-kill, taking no action, centralized management, and trap–neuter–return (TNR) and its variations. Results indicated that 63% of participants were willing to coexist with community cats, 71% opposed trap-and-kill, and 61% agreed or strongly agreed with the TNR method and its variations. Older residents or those with higher incomes were more likely to support coexistence with community cats. In contrast, younger or lower-income residents were more likely to support non-coexistence. Residents in first- or second-tier cities (e.g., Beijing, Hangzhou, and Jinan Cities in China) were more inclined to support trap-and-kill and less likely to support coexistence than their counterparts in fourth-tier cities (e.g., county-level cities in China). Moreover, those with lower education or incomes were more supportive of trap-and-kill and taking no action as the methods to manage community cats than those with relatively higher education or incomes. Those with higher incomes held more positive attitudes towards community cats and were more supportive of TNR and its variations than their counterparts with lower incomes. Males were more inclined to support trap-and-kill and taking no action and less inclined to support centralized management and TNR than females. The implications of the findings on TNR with adoption programs in urban China are discussed. These novel findings underscore the need for targeted educational campaigns to promote humane and effective management strategies, addressing public concerns and community cats’ welfare. The study’s insights are critical for informing policy and improving community cat management in urban China.

Participating in social practice can help guide young people to better realize the unity of knowledge and action, learning to use, in order to be able to “gain what it can’t”, so this paper on how to better realize the social practice of college students to explore. First of all, this paper comprehends the structure and mechanism of college students’ social practice and researches the function of social practice through the operation mechanism of college students’ social practice. Then, based on the goal of solving the problems existing in social practice, the problem of multi-objective optimization is proposed, and the NSGA-II algorithm is optimized by adding the NDX operator and adaptive adjustment of the variation operator so as to solve the multi-objective optimization problem. The proposal for achieving social practice is made from three aspects: curriculum, theme, and research. Finally, the performance of the algorithm, the effect of social practice, and the optimization effect of social practice are analyzed through empirical evidence and algorithmic experiments. The results show that the range of the offspring using the NDX operator is between −1.75 and 3, the maximum number of occurrences of the offspring individuals are all around 2500, and the best comprehensive performance of HV and IGD are 0.93 and 0.11, respectively. The gains of ideological and moral literacy, personal ability enhancement as well and the practice object before optimization are all within 4.5, and the enhancement of the three conditions after optimization is around 0.7.

The management and coexistence of community cats in urban areas is a growing concern amid global urbanization. Through a survey-based investigation, we examine the residents’ perceptions of the general health of community cats and human-cat relationships in urban China. The data from 5382 participants revealed that approximately 70% of participants perceived community cats as being in good health, and 60% reported harmonious or non-conflict coexistence between residents and these cats. Around 45% of the participants rescued or helped community cats, 38% expressed their intention to adopt, and 18% complained about the issues of community cats to management staff. Linear, logistic, and multilevel-logistic regressions were employed to examine the associations between the types of cities and communities or the participants’ socio-demographics and the perceived well-being of community cats or human-cat relationships. The results show that the cats in fourth-tier cities (e.g., county-level cities) had poorer living conditions than in first-tier cities (e.g., Beijing), while the cats in urban village communities (e.g., villages in the city) were less likely to exhibit good health than in ordinary commercial housing communities. The results also show that socio-demographic variables, such as educational attainment, marital status, and income level, predicted participants’ relationships with community cats. This study is the first of its kind. It provides valuable insights for stakeholders to develop effective policies and interventions on cat management, emphasizing the need for tailored strategies in diverse urban settings and populations.

With the rapid development of avionics system,a large number of devices and sensors are connected to the in-plane network,which makes the architecture of the in-plane communication network complex and heavy.Wireless communication network can effectively solve many problems,such as complicated wiring,heavy weight and difficult line fault detection.However,wireless network still has certain limitations in real-time and reliability,which is precisely the most concerned problem of airborne interconnection system.In this paper,the existing wired communication network architecture is analyzed,a hybrid communication network architecture of wireless access network and wired backbone network is designed according to its communication characteristics.The candidate wireless communication schemes are evaluated and selected.The fixed time slot of wireless network access is improved to dynamic allocation according to traffic,the mathematical model of dynamic time slot allocation is established,and the TDMA period and the optimal time slot allocation strategy are designed.Finally,a typical airborne network task shows that the strategy can improve the network utilization rate from 36.5% to 41.8% on the premise of ensuring that the system is schedulable,which verifies the effectiveness of the method.

Objective: To study the physical and geometric factors that affect the extrusion effect between particles in the spiral extrusion dewatering device for kitchen waste, and to provide reference for selecting the parameters of the spiral extrusion and dewatering device. Methods: Based on the discrete element method, the state of the extruded particles was analyzed, and the extrusion situation of the material particles in the device was simulated by changing the filling coefficient, spiral speed and inclination angle. Results: When there was some inclination angle in the screw extrusion dehydration device with variable pitch, the filling coefficient increased and the rotation speed up, and the extrusion pressure between the material particles increased accordingly. Conclusion: When the filling rate was 60%, the screw speed was 60 r/min, and the angle was 15°, the extrusion performance of the screw extrusion device could be significantly improved.

Objective To investigate the predictive value of peripheral blood LMR and LMR/LDH on the prognosis of primary Waldeyer's Ring DLBCL patients. Methods We collected 71 patients with primary Waldeyer's Ring DLBCL. The ROC curve was used to determine the optimal critical values of LMR and LMR/LDH before treatment. The chi-square test was used to analyze the constituent ratio and rate of high and low LMR groups as well as high and low LMR/LDH groups. Kaplan-Meier method was used to calculate survival rate. Log rank method and Cox risk regression model were used for univariate and multivariate analyses, respectively. Results The optimal critical values of LMR and LMR/LDH were 2.97 and 1.56, respectively. The prognosis of patients in the high LMR group was significantly better than that in the low LMR group (P < 0.001). The prognosis of patients in the high LMR/LDH group was significantly better than that in the low LMR/LDH group (P < 0.001). Univariate analysis showed that age, B symptoms, clinical stage, treatment efficacy, IPI score, LDH level, LMR and LMR/LDH were important factors that influenced the prognosis of early-stage Waldeyer's Ring DLBCL. Multivariate analysis showed that the age, clinical stage and LMR/LDH were independent prognostic factors. Conclusion LMR and LMR/LDH before treatment may have certain value in predicting the prognosis of Waldeyer's Ring DLBCL patients.

Camellia oleifera is a unique edible oil tree species in China and one of the four major woody oil tree species in the world. Its products are widely used in forestry, agriculture and fishery, medicine, daily chemicals, light textile and so on. In recent years, C. oleifera has become a topic of great scientific interest because of its unique value. However, few lipidomics studies on C. oleifera were reported. In this study, “XiangLin1” (XL1) and “XiangLin210” (XL210) were analyzed by non-targeted LC-MS/MS and 1329 metabolites were identified. The 99 significantly different lipids (SDLs) were matched with the criteria of P ​ ​1. Compared with XL1, XL210 has 59 SDLs down-regulated and 40 SDLs up-regulated. Through correlation analysis, we concluded that glycerolipids (GLs), glycerophospholipids (GPs) and sphingolipids (SPs) had strong correlation within and between classes. Our results will provide a reference for the subsequent study on the lipid synthesis mechanism of C. oleifera by the multi-omics technology.

Metal binding sites, antigen epitopes and drug binding sites are the hotspots in viral proteins that control how viruses interact with their hosts. virusMED (virus Metal binding sites, Epitopes and Drug binding sites) is a rich internet application based on a database of atomic interactions around hotspots in 7041 experimentally determined viral protein structures. 25306 hotspots from 805 virus strains from 75 virus families were characterized, including influenza, HIV-1 and SARS-CoV-2 viruses. Just as Google Maps organizes and annotates points of interest, virusMED presents the positions of individual hotspots on each viral protein and creates an atlas upon which newly characterized functional sites can be placed as they are being discovered. virusMED contains an extensive set of annotation tags about the virus species and strains, viral hosts, viral proteins, metal ions, specific antibodies and FDA-approved drugs, which permits rapid screening of hotspots on viral proteins tailored to a particular research problem. The virusMED portal (https://virusmed.biocloud.top) can serve as a window to a valuable resource for many areas of virus research and play a critical role in the rational design of new preventative and therapeutic agents targeting viral infections.

Currently, Beijing is facing increasing serious air quality problems. Atmospheric pollutants in Beijing are mainly composed of particulate matter, which is a key factor leading to adverse effects on human health. This paper uses hourly data from 36 environmental monitoring stations in Beijing from 2015 to 2020 to obtain the temporal and spatial distribution of the mass concentration of particulate matter with a diameter smaller than 2.5 μm (PM2.5). The 36 stations established by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Beijing Environmental Protection Monitoring Center and obtain continuous real-time monitoring of particulate matter. And the 36 stations are divided into 13 main urban environmental assessment points, 11 suburban assessment points, 1 control point, 6 district assessment points, and 5 traffic pollution monitoring points. The annual average concentration of PM2.5 in Beijing was 60 μg/m3 with a negative trend of approximately 14% year-1. In urban areas the annual average concentration of PM2.5 was 59 μg/m3, in suburbs 56 μg/m3, in traffic areas 63 μg/m3, and in district areas 62 μg/m3. From 2015 to 2020, in urban areas PM2.5 decreased by 14% year-1, in suburbs by 15% year -1, in traffic areas by 15% year-1, and in district areas by 12% year-1. The quarterly average concentrations of PM2.5 in winter andspring are higher than those in summer and autumn (64 μg/m3, 59 μg/m3, 45 μg/m3, 55 μg/m3, respectively). The influenceof meteorological factors on the daily average value of PM2.5 in each season was analysed. The daily average PM2.5 in spring, summer, autumn and winter is significantly negatively correlated with daily average wind speed, sunshine hours, and air pressure, and significantly positively correlated with daily average rainfall and relative humidity. Except for autumn, the daily average PM2.5 is positively correlated with temperature. Although Beijing’s PM2.5 has been declining since the adoption of the‘Air Pollution Prevention and Control Action Plan’, it is still far from the first level of the new ‘Ambient Air Quality Standard’(GB309S-2012) formulated by China in 2012.

Background Mainland China, the world’s most populous region, experienced a large-scale coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Existing infodemiology studies have primarily concentrated on the prospective surveillance of confirmed cases or symptoms which met the criterion for investigators; nevertheless, the actual impact regarding COVID-19 on the public and subsequent attitudes of different groups towards the COVID-19 epidemic were neglected. Methods This study aimed to examine the public web-based search trends and behavior patterns related to COVID-19 outbreaks in mainland China by using hot words and Baidu Index (BI). The initial hot words (the high-frequency words on the Internet) and the epidemic data (2019/12/01–2021/11/30) were mined from infodemiology platforms. The final hot words table was established by two-rounds of hot words screening and double-level hot words classification. Temporal distribution and demographic portraits of COVID-19 were queried by search trends service supplied from BI to perform the correlation analysis. Further, we used the parameter estimation to quantitatively forecast the geographical distribution of COVID-19 in the future. Results The final English-Chinese bilingual table was established including six domains and 32 subordinate hot words. According to the temporal distribution of domains and subordinate hot words in 2020 and 2021, the peaks of searching subordinate hot words and COVID-19 outbreak periods had significant temporal correlation and the subordinate hot words in COVID-19 Related and Territory domains were reliable for COVID-19 surveillance. Gender distribution results showed that Territory domain (the male proportion: 67.69%; standard deviation (SD): 5.88%) and Symptoms/Symptom and Public Health (the female proportion: 57.95%, 56.61%; SD: 0, 9.06%) domains were searched more by male and female groups respectively. The results of age distribution of hot words showed that people aged 20–50 (middle-aged people) had a higher online search intensity, and the group of 20–29, 30–39 years old focused more on Media and Symptoms/Symptom (proportion: 45.43%, 51.66%; SD: 15.37%, 16.59%) domains respectively. Finally, based on frequency rankings of searching hot words and confirmed cases in Mainland China, the epidemic situation of provinces and Chinese administrative divisions were divided into 5 levels of early-warning regions. Central, East and South China regions would be impacted again by the COVID-19 in the future.

Camellia oleifera fruit shell (COS) is an agricultural waste product generated in large quantities by the seed oil extraction industry. Due to its hierarchical thickness structure, COS shows huge potential in constructing porous carbon materials after thermal chemical modification. Herein, a series of COS biochars were synthesized by a carbonization-activation process and achieved excellent mercury removal performance in an aqueous environment. High-temperature carbonization was found to facilitate lignin removal and porosity generation, while retaining hydroxyl and carbonyl groups available for mercury adsorption. A volume of micropores of 594 × 10−3 cm−3/g with average pore diameter of 1.7 nm was achieved in activated COS biochar. At 550 °C, an adsorption capacity of 57.6 mg/g was realized in 1 mg/L Hg2+ solution under different pH environments. This work provides an alternative adsorbent for removing hazardous materials using sustainable bioresources.

After a long period of geological tectonic action, the rock mass develops defects such as pores and fissures of different sizes and scales. The mechanical properties of the rock are largely affected by these discontinuous structures, and there will be obvious stress concentration at the edge of the hole inside the rock. Under the action of concentrated stress, cracks initiate, expand, and penetrate from the edge of the hole to form the final fracture surface and cause instability and failure of the rock mass. In practical engineering, due to the limitation of various factors, it is impossible to conduct uniaxial compressive strength test for each geotechnical engineering. Therefore, the rock in the weak part of the project can be selected as the test specimen before the indoor physical tests. In this paper, the static uniaxial compression test of specimens with circular holes with different diameters is carried out. Digital Image Correlation (DIC) monitoring system is used to observe the test process in real time; then, the data from uniaxial compression test and DIC monitoring test are obtained. At the same time, the macroscopic failure characteristics and crack propagation law of rock specimens are obtained, and the evolution law of strain field during the failure process of rock specimens is also obtained. Meanwhile, Realistic Failure Process Analysis (RFPA) is carried out to verify the accuracy of static uniaxial compression physical tests numerically. Physical tests show that the uniaxial compressive strength of marble specimens with circular holes and the dispersion of measured peak stress data decrease with the increase of hole diameter. The main failure type of marble specimens with circular holes is tension shear failure; the macroscopic failure zone of the sample, the strain field localization zone, and the maximum shear stress field of the numerical test are distributed in a semi-“X” shape with the hole as the center. The localization zone of the strain field on the specimen is usually the region of crack initiation, propagation, and penetration on the surface of the marble specimens. It also shows that specimen breaks in the radial direction along the y-axis of the circular hole, and cracks connecting both ends of the circular hole and the specimen are generated on the specimen. It is of great theoretical value and practical significance to the influence of the cavities in the rock specimens on the stress and strain characteristics and the initiation, propagation, and penetration modes.

Objective To observe the effects of photodynamic therapy (PDT) with hematoporphyrin monomethyl ether (HMME) on venous neointimal hyperplasia (VNH) in arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) in rabbits. Methods We established models of AVF by end-to-side anastomosis of the common carotid artery to the jugular vein in 32 adult rabbits, which were randomized into 4 groups (n=8), including a control group without any intervention, an HMME group with HMME treatment only, a light illumination (without HMME) group, and a HMME-PDT group receiving both the photosensitizer and light illumination. Color Doppler ultrasound was used to detect the blood flow after the operation. At 30 d after the operation, the jugular vein tissue was collected for assessing VNH and measurement of the lumen area using HE and Masson staining and for detecting the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and ɑ-smooth muscle actin (ɑ-SMA) using immunohistochemistry; Western blotting was performed to analyze the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), Bcl-2, ɑ-SMA, Caspase3, Caspase9 and Bax. Results The jugular vein tissues showed significantly lessened VNH and increased lumen area in HMME-PDT group compared with the other groups (P < 0.05). The results of immunohistochemistry showed that the expression of PCNA and ɑ-SMA was decreased and Caspase3 expression was increased significantly in HMME-PDT group compared with the other groups (P < 0.05). Western blotting results showed that among the 4 groups, the expression of Caspase3, Caspase9 and Bax were the highest (P < 0.05) while those of PCNA, Bcl-2, ɑ-SMA and Bcl-2/Bax ratio the lowest in HMME-PDT group (P < 0.05). Conclusion HMME-PDT can effectively reduce VNH in AVFs in rabbits by suppressing proliferation and promoting apoptosis of the vascular smooth muscle cells via the Bcl-2/Bax pathway.

The reliability level is one of the most significant indexes to be considered in aircraft design process. In order to guarantee the objectivity and accuracy of results, the study on aircraft reliability assessment in flight test and service period is particularly essential. Proceeding from the practical engineering requirement, the whole reliability assessment process for aircraft is obtained through regulating the acquisition method of fault information as well as specifying the failure criterion and statistical principles. Based on the above process, utilizing the fault information in flight test and service, the reliability level of assigned aircraft is assessed in multiple dimensions. The results show that the eventual assessment results can reflect the real reliability level of aircrafts and satisfy the requirement of practical engineering.

A large number of random and fuzzy factors are involved in the process of development, production and application of large complex aircraft.Seeking for balance between efficiency and cost objectively has become the core issue of life cycle management for large and complex aircraft.The applicability of the theory and method of extenics in the effective-cost equilibrium analysis on large-complex aircraft is proposed, including the overall architecture, matter-element model and application process.Aiming to test the feasibility of extenics and matter element method, an example of a complex aircraft model is introduced and the index system of efficiency and cost measurement is constructed.Through example analysis, it shows that the aircraft cost effectiveness trade off scheme is constrained by its inherent capability, labor cost and material cost.The optimal scheme for weighing the efficiency and cost of complex aircraft is obtained by evaluating the optimality of extenics under multiple constraints.

Aramid nanofibers (ANFs) represent the most promising nanoscale building blocks for high-performance nanocomposites. But their applications are mostly limited to those polymers containing –OH or –NH2 groups that can interact with ANFs through hydrogen bonding or others. In this paper, allyl and benzyl modified ANFs were successfully fabricated using a metallization method followed by functionalization with allyl and benzyl bromide. A series of modified aramid nanomaterials (ANMs) with different degrees of modification were prepared and their morphologies studied. The modified ANFs were added to polystyrene (PS) films as reinforcements. The mechanical properties of the resulting composite PS films including Young's modulus, toughness and yield strength were dramatically improved compared to those of pure PS film. These new types of reinforcement additives for non-polar polymer materials are presented in this paper.

An integrated Matlab model comprising of an electro-mechanical actuator (EMA) model, load model and state model has been constructed to investigate the cargo door actuator motion control, operation and working states, of which, a Simulink® servomotor system model is adopted to mimic the EMA actuator, a SimMechanics® model is used to compute the actuator's load, a Stateflow® state transition model is employed to simulate the working process. The results indicated that the motion is well controlled, generated load force is valid, working states and their transition logics are reasonable. The simulation verified the effectiveness and easiness of the integrated modelling method.

Fe75Zr25/Cu64Zr36 amorphous multilayers were prepared by magnetron sputtering. Atom probe tomography was employed to analyze the atomic inter-diffusion at the interface of the multilayers before and after annealing (573 K, 60 min). An unexpected enhanced inter-diffusion of the immiscible elements Fe and Cu was detected at the interface of the multilayers. As the inter-diffusion in amorphous multilayers is much faster than that in the crystalline counterparts, this process may open a way to manipulate or create amorphous multilayers with new properties. This idea agrees with the observation of the variation of magnetic properties of Fe75Zr25/Cu64Zr36 amorphous multilayers.

Friedreich ataxia (FRDA) is a multisystemic, autosomal recessive disorder caused by homozygous GAA expansion mutation in the first intron of frataxin (FXN) gene. FXN is a mitochondrial protein critical for iron-sulfur cluster biosynthesis and deficiency impairs mitochondrial electron transport chain functions and iron homeostasis within the organelle. Currently, there is no effective treatment for FRDA. We have previously demonstrated that single infusion of wild-type hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) resulted in prevention of neurologic and cardiac complications of FRDA in YG8R mice, and rescue was mediated by FXN transfer from tissue engrafted, HSPC-derived microglia/macrophages to diseased neurons/myocytes. For a future clinical translation, we developed an autologous stem cell transplantation approach using CRISPR/Cas9 for the excision of the GAA repeats in FRDA patients CD34+ HSPCs; this strategy leading to increased FXN expression and improved mitochondrial functions. The aim of the current study is to validate the efficiency and safety of our gene editing approach in a disease-relevant model. We generated a cohort of FRDA patient-derived iPSCs and isogenic lines that were gene edited with our CRISPR/Cas9 approach. iPSC derived FRDA neurons displayed characteristic apoptotic and mitochondrial phenotype of the disease, such as non-homogenous microtubule staining in neurites, increased caspase-3 expression, mitochondrial superoxide levels, mitochondrial fragmentation, and partial degradation of the cristae compared to healthy controls. These defects were fully prevented in the gene edited neurons. RNASeq analysis of FRDA and gene edited neurons demonstrated striking improvement in gene clusters associated with endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress in the isogenic lines. Gene edited neurons demonstrated improved ER-calcium release, normalization of ER stress response gene, XBP-1, and significantly increased ER-mitochondrial contacts that are critical for functional homeostasis of both organelles, as compared to FRDA neurons. Ultrastructural analysis for these contact sites displayed severe ER structural damage in FRDA neurons, that was undetected in gene edited neurons. Taken together, these results represent a novel finding for disease pathogenesis showing dramatic ER structural damage in FRDA, validate the efficacy profile of our FXN gene editing approach in a disease relevant model, and support our approach as an effective strategy for therapeutic intervention for Friedreichs ataxia.

Ni-P nanoglass consisting of nanometer-sized amorphous grains separated by amorphous interfaces was prepared by a specially designed multi-phase pulsed electrodeposition technique. The microstructure of the deposited Ni-P nanoglass was confirmed by X-ray diffraction, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, small-angle X-ray scattering, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The formation of the Ni-P nanoglass, which is characterized by inhomogeneities on the nanometer length scale, is achieved via proper control of the rate of cluster formation and cluster growth by a multi-phase pulsed electrodeposition process.

The phase change microcapsules of modified montmorillonite/paraffin were prepared by Pickering emulsion method. Analytic techniques of optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and thermogravimetry(TG) were utilized for characterizing chemical structure, morphology and thermal properties. Results show that modified montmorillonite as a new type wall material has excellent performance for protecting core material of paraffin. FTIR spectra of phase change of modified montmorillonite/paraffin microcapsules shows that their characteristic peaks match with corresponding peaks of pure paraffin and modified montmorillonite. DSC results indicate that modified montmorillonite/paraffin microcapsules have similar solid-liquid phase change temperature with pure paraffin. The phase transition enthalpy values of microcapsules with paraffin contents varying from 55% to 80% are 110.5-147.2J/g, indicating that microcapsules have excellent thermal storage performance and the phase change properties can be adjusted by changing contents of paraffin. TG results confirm that modified montmorillonite/paraffin microcapsules have outstanding thermal stability. The presented study indicates that modified montmorillonite is a suitable wall material for preparing paraffin microcapsule. Modified montmorillonite/paraffin microcapsules have advantages of low cost and high performance with a great application potential in the field of thermal storage.

A number of countries are concerned, to a certain degree, about the prospects for the implementation of the Chinese strategic initiative for the joint creation of the “Silk Road Economic Belt” (SREB). These concerns relate to fears of the transfer from China to the “belt” countries of excessive capacities of the polluting primaries industries, possible environmental degradation, and the destruction of the traditional way of life as a result of the implementation of mega-projects, and the fragility and vulnerability of many ecosystems along the routes of the prospective throughways between the eastern provinces of China and Europe [Bezrukov, 2016]. Environmental problems are clearly of key importance for the prospects of China’s initiative. The initiative’s program documents have stressed the need to take into account the interests of all parties and act solely on the basis of mutual benefit. The authors briefly consider the variety of natural and socio-economic conditions in the SREB zone and the sharp differences in the degree of economic development of the territory, which require close attention and scientific justification for political and economic decisions. Particular differences include temperature regime, precipitation, modern atmospheric circulation, transport of particulate matter and contaminants, soils, vegetation, land use, and risks of desertification in the SREB zone. The potential of complementarity of the natural resources of China and a number of neighboring countries may be realized. The paper also discusses China’s present policy in the transition to sustainable development and its underlying concepts and achievements, especially at the level of regions and cities, including the concept of “ecological civilization” and the six stages of greening of cities. The authors believe that tourism related activities should be coordinated specifically at the city level as part of “green development.” It is necessary to create free economic zones in the “economic corridors” along the planned transcontinental lines and utilize the existing national special zones. Such zones are particularly effective in border regions and cities. In conclusion, it is recommended to develop international research networks in the SREB zone, to establish an International Data Center, and to collect, organize, exchange, and publish jointly scientific information on the problems of transition to sustainable development.

In view of problems of false alarming and triboelectrification existed in existing coal conveying belt system with coal piling sensor to detect state of coal piling of belt, a non-contact detection method of coal piling of belt based on vision measurement was proposed. The method uses monocular vision technology in visual inspection to construct small hole imaging model, and can measure coal piling of belt. The experimental results show that the method has advantages of high real-time property and good detection effect with detection accuracy of about 95%, which complies with design requirements.

Objective To investigate the perception of dentists' concerning on measures of occupational protection and provide decision information for enhancing the occupation security. Methods 127 dentists from 52 non-profit hospitals (50 stomatology department in general hospitals and 2 stomatological hospitals ) and 75 profit-making hospitals (7 outpatient departments in general hospitals and 68 dental clinics ) were involved in the cross-sectional questionnaire survey. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was applied for quantitative analysis to evaluate the factor of occupational protection. Results The results showed that the "excellent" and "good" probability of occupational protection in non-profit hospitals were 0.35, while the probability of "fair" and "poor" were 0.30 and 0.17. According to the maximum membership principle, the comprehensive evaluation result was between "excellent" and "good". The probability of "excellent", "good", "fair" and "poor" in non-profit hospitals were 0.15, 0.35, 0.32 and 0.3 respectively, and the comprehensive evaluation result was “good”. Conclusion Awareness occupational protection among dentists in profit-making hospitals is slightly weaker when compared with non-profit hospitals. It is necessary to develop some available intervention measures to guarantee the occupational security for dentists utmost.
