The coupling and coordination of digital economy and urban–rural integration can help narrow the urban–rural gap and help realize comprehensive modernization. Based on the data of 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2020, the index systems of digital economy and urban–rural integration were constructed, respectively, by using the entropy method, and the coupling coordination degree between digital economy and urban–rural integration was calculated by using the coupling coordination degree model. The spatio-temporal evolution characteristics were analyzed by using the spatial Durbin model, and the influencing factors of the coupling coordination degree were deeply decomposed. The results showed that the coupling coordination degree of digital economy and urban–rural integration has been significantly improved in the whole country during the decade, with the overall spatial distribution characteristics of “high in the east and low in the west” and “high in the south and low in the north”. The growth momentum of the backward provinces was relatively better, which have more obvious characteristics of positive spatial agglomeration. The level of economic development, government support, technological innovation and industrial structure had positive promoting effects on the coupling coordination degree. Except for the negative spatial spillover effect of government support, the three other factors all had promoting effects on the coupling coordination degree in neighboring provinces. The effect intensity of influencing factors also had regional heterogeneity.

A tandem rhodium(III)-catalyzed system was established to access 3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-1(2H)-one by coupling of N-methoxy-3-methylbenzamide with 2-methylidenetrimethylene carbonate. This one-pot synthesis protocol processed smoothly under mild reaction conditions. Moreover, a total of 28 examples, broad substrate scope, and high functional-group compatibility were observed. Preliminary mechanism studies were also conducted and demonstrated that the rhodium(III) catalyst played a vital role in the C-H-allylation and N-alkylation cyclization process.

Perceptual decision-making is increasingly being understood to involve an interaction between bottom-up sensory-driven signals and top-down choice-driven signals, but how these signals interact to mediate perception is not well understood. The parieto-insular vestibular cortex (PIVC) is an area with prominent vestibular responsiveness, and previous work has shown that inactivating PIVC impairs vestibular heading judgments. To investigate the nature of PIVC's contribution to heading perception, we recorded extracellularly from PIVC neurons in two male rhesus macaques during a heading discrimination task, and compared findings with data from previous studies of dorsal medial superior temporal (MSTd) and ventral intraparietal (VIP) areas using identical stimuli. By computing partial correlations between neural responses, heading, and choice, we find that PIVC activity reflects a dynamically changing combination of sensory and choice signals. In addition, the sensory and choice signals are more balanced in PIVC, in contrast to the sensory dominance in MSTd and choice dominance in VIP. Interestingly, heading and choice signals in PIVC are negatively correlated during the middle portion of the stimulus epoch, reflecting a mismatch in the polarity of heading and choice signals. We anticipate that these results will help unravel the mechanisms of interaction between bottom-up sensory signals and top-down choice signals in perceptual decision-making, leading to more comprehensive models of self-motion perception.SIGNIFICANCE STATEMENTVestibular information is important for our perception of self-motion, and various cortical regions in primates show vestibular heading selectivity. Inactivation of the macaque vestibular cortex substantially impairs the precision of vestibular heading discrimination, more so than inactivation of other multisensory areas. Here, we record for the first time from the vestibular cortex while monkeys perform a forced-choice heading discrimination task, and we compare results with data collected previously from other multisensory cortical areas. We find that vestibular cortex activity reflects a dynamically changing combination of sensory and choice signals, with both similarities and notable differences with other multisensory areas.

Photoreceptor degeneration diseases, such as retinitis pigmentosa and age-related macular degeneration, are major causes of blindness. Photovoltaic devices or materials activates retinal cells in response to light, hence are promising retinal prosthesis in treating blind patients. The restoration of image-forming vision with high sensitivity is the key. Here we demonstrated that Au nanoparticle-coated titania (TiO2-x) nanowire (NW) arrays can restore vision in blind mice and non-human primates with photoreceptor degeneration. We first showed that blind mice with subretinal implant of NW arrays were capable of detecting static, moving and flashing objects with low light intensity threshold for 22 months, having a visual acuity of 0.3 cpd (0.4 cpd in normal mice). Results in chronic in vivo calcium imaging in primary visual cortex (V1) collectively suggested the plastic change in V1 neurons as well as the improvement in visual information encoding for natural images after NW implant. What’s more, macaque monkeys with subretinal implant of NW arrays were capable of detecting an LED of 0.5º in diameter at 10 μW·mm-2 in visually-guided saccade experiments. Our findings opened up the possibility to utilize nanomaterials as artificial photoreceptors to ameliorate visual deficits of patients with photoreceptor degeneration.

A one-pot method for the synthesis of azo compounds by the reaction of β-naphthol with aryl amines using t-BuONO as the nitrosonium source in DCM at room temperature was developed. This method features mild reaction conditions, a simple experimental procedure, and is free of acidic or alkaline additives.

Syntaxin 4 (STX4), a plasma membrane-localized SNARE protein, regulates human islet β-cell insulin secretion and preservation of β-cell mass. We found that human type 1 diabetic (T1D) and non-obese diabetic (NOD) mouse islets show reduced β-cell STX4 expression, consistent with decreased STX4 expression as a potential driver of T1D phenotypes. To test this hypothesis, we generated inducible β-cell-specific STX4-expressing NOD mice (NOD-iβSTX4). Of NOD-iβSTX4 mice, 73% had sustained normoglycemia versus + Treg cells were also enriched in NOD-iβSTX4 islets. These results provide a deeper mechanistic understanding of STX4 function in β-cell protection and warrant further investigation of STX4 enrichment as a strategy to reverse or prevent T1D in humans or protect β-cell grafts.

Photoreceptor degeneration diseases, such as retinitis pigmentosa and age-related macular degeneration, are major causes of blindness. Here we evaluate the performance of Au nanoparticle-coated titania (TiO2-x) nanowire (NW) arrays as artificial photoreceptors to restore image-forming vision in blind mice and non-human primates with photoreceptor degeneration. We first demonstrated that blind mice with the subretinal implant of NW arrays were capable of detecting static, moving and flashing objects, with a visual acuity of 0.3 cpd, measured up to 9 months after the implant surgery. Using chronic in vivo calcium imaging, we continuously monitored light-induced responses of neurons in the primary visual cortex (V1) in NW-implanted blind mice for over 14 weeks. Light responses of V1 neurons first appeared at 2 days after the surgery and the number of light-responsive V1 neurons peaked 1 week after the implant surgery, and the latency of these responses decreased over time. These results collectively suggested the plasticity and improvement in the encoding of visual information in V1 after NW implant surgery. We then implanted NW arrays subretinally in macaque monkeys, showing that the NW arrays did not cause adverse responses 8 weeks post surgery. Finally, visually-guided saccades were restored in macaque monkeys with the subretinal implant of NW arrays. Our findings demonstrated the possibility to utilize nanomaterials as artificial photoreceptors to ameliorate visual deficits of patients with photoreceptor degeneration.

Objective The present study aimed to investigate the impact of ulinastatin (UTI) on sigma-1 receptor (σ1R) and bind to immunoglobulin protein (Bip) after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. Methods The middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) model was used to induce cerebral I/R injury. A total of 80 male SD rats were randomly divided into six groups: Control, MCAO, MCAO+50,000 U/kg UTI (U5), MCAO+100,000 U/kg UTI (U10), MCAO+200,000 U/kg UTI (U20), MCAO+300,000 U/kg UTI (U30). At 24 and 48 h after MCAO, the infarct volume, neurological dysfunction, and grip strength test were measured, and the level of σ1R and Bip proteins was further detected using Western blot. The molecular docking assays were carried out to verify the interaction between σ1R, Bip, and UTI. The serum concentration of Bip as well as the binding assay between σ1R, Bip, and UTI were determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results UTI increased the modified neurological severity score and upregulated the σ1R and Bip expression in the cerebral cortex under MCAO state. The grip strength of forelimbs increased significantly in the U20 and U30 groups compared to that of MCAO rats, while the Bip serum levels remained unchanged. The molecular docking assay indicated a putative binding between σ1R, Bip, and UTI. The binding assay also revealed that both σ1R and Bip could be combined with UTI. Conclusions UTI displays a neuroprotective effect via upregulation of σ1R and Bip during I/R injury, suggesting that UTI modulate σ1R and Bip and their interaction may provide a novel insight into the potential therapeutic mechanisms of stroke.

Background The effect of microRNAs (miRNA) on cancer regulations has received a considerable amount of attention recently. MiR-133a-5p has been identified as an anti-tumor miRNA in several types of cancers. However, the effect of miR-133a-5p on gastric cancer (GC) have not been uncovered. In this study, we sought to evaluate the regulation of TCF4 expression by miR-133-5p and the role of the miR-25-3p/TCF4 axis in the progression of GC, with the aim of identifying a potential therapeutic target for GC. Methods TCGA (The Cancer Genome Atlas), GTEx (The Genotype-Tissue Expression) and GEO (Gene Expression Omnibus) database were used to analyze the expression and prognosis. We performed MTT and EdU assays to elucidate the effect on cell replication. Apoptotic cells were stained with annexin V-fluorescein isothiocyanate and propidium iodide to stain, and then analyzed by flow cytometry. The effect on cell metastasis was investigated in wound healing and transwell assays. A dual-luciferase reporter assay was used to check for the direct targeting of TCF4 by miR-133a-5p. Bioinformatic analysis of the relationship of TCF4 with tumor microenvironment and the signaling cascade of TCF4 was finally performed. Results We found that the level of miR-133a-5p was decreased in both tumor tissues and GC cell lines. MiR-133a-5p inhibited cell growth and metastasis, but promoted cell apoptosis. MiR-133a-5p directly targeted TCF4 and downregulated its expression. TCF4 was highly expressed in tumor and higher level of TCF4 indicated poorer prognosis. Moreover, TCF4 overexpression reversed the aforementioned anti-tumor activity of miR-133a-5p. The expression level of TCF4 was significantly correlated with tumor-infiltrating immune cells. Conclusions Our findings altogether reveal that miR-133a-5p can serve as a tumor suppressor in gastric cancer via the miR-133a-5p/TCF4 pathway.

Fifteen 7,4’- O-modified genistein amino acid derivatives are synthesized through nucleophilic substitution and hydrolysis, followed by condensation with diverse amino acid esters. The antiproliferative activity of all the synthesized compounds is evaluated against three cancer cell lines (MGC-803, HeLa, HCT-116) and one normal cell line (HUVEC) using 5-fluorouracil (5-Fu) as the positive control. The results show that methyl [2-({5-hydroxy-3-[4-(2-{[3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1-methoxy-1-oxopropan-2-yl]amino}-2-oxoethoxy)phenyl]-4-oxo-4 H-chromen-7-yl}oxy)acetyl] tyrosinate exhibits significant antiproliferative activity against the MGC-803 cell line with an IC50 value of 8.52 µM, and its inhibitory effects on HeLa and HCT-116 cancer cells are stronger than that of the positive control drug 5-Fu.

BACKGROUND: Thrombospondins (THBSs) are glycoproteins expressed in the extracellular matrix (ECM) and have critical roles in tumor development and metastasis. However, the diverse expression patterns and prognostic roles of distinct THBS genes in gastric cancer have not been fully elucidated. In the current study, we aimed to investigate the expression patterns of THBSs in gastric cancer (GC) and determine whether they are prognostic markers for this malignancy. METHODS: mRNA expression status and genetic mutations of THBS family members were performed by using ONCOMINE, UCSC Xena browser, GEPIA, and cBioPortal databases. Prognostic values and function enrichment analysis of the members were assessed via Kaplan-Meier plotter and Metascape. RESULTS: we found that the mRNA expression of THBS1, THBS2, THBS4, and COMP were higher in patients with GC tissues than those in normal gastric mucosa and there was no difference in the mRNA expression of THBS3 between GC and normal tissue. The fruit fly optimization algorithm (FOA) is a global optimization algorithm inspired by the foraging behavior of a fruit fly swarm. In this study, a novel stochastic fractal model based fruit fly optimization algorithm is proposed for multiobjective optimization. A food source generating method based on a stochastic fractal with an adaptive parameter updating strategy is introduced to improve the convergence performance of the fruit fly optimization algorithm. To deal with multiobjective optimization problems, the Pareto domination concept is integrated into the selection process of fruit fly optimization and a novel multiobjective fruit fly optimization algorithm is then developed. Similarly to most of other multiobjective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs), an external elitist archive is utilized to preserve the nondominated solutions found so far during the evolution, and a normalized nearest neighbor distance based density estimation strategy is adopted to keep the diversity of the external elitist archive. Eighteen benchmarks are used to test the performance of the stochastic fractal based multiobjective fruit fly optimization algorithm (SFMOFOA). Numerical results show that the SFMOFOA is able to well converge to the Pareto fronts of the test benchmarks with good distributions. Compared with four state-of-the-art methods, namely, the non-dominated sorting generic algorithm (NSGA-II), the strength Pareto evolutionary algorithm (SPEA2), multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO), and multiobjective self-adaptive differential evolution (MOSADE), the proposed SFMOFOA has better or competitive multiobjective optimization performance.

Background CIBMTR audits take place every four years and the University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, BMT Department has consistently met required thresholds. However, this changed with the 2018 audit when the overall error rate was 3.3%; above the threshold of 3%. The deficiencies identified during the audit necessitated the implementation of strategies to improve data accuracy. Method The CIBMTR audit results identified three key deficient reporting areas. These included: Method of Disease Assessment (specifically cytogenetics), Disease Status, and Acute and Chronic Graft vs Host Disease (aGVHD) (cGVHD). Strategies were developed to address these specific deficiencies. Results First, regularly scheduled meetings with the BMT physicians to review complex, difficult cases/questions/scenarios were instituted. These meetings may include reviewing method of disease assessment in which the DM may be having difficulty extracting the information from a variety of reports; Disease assessment questions for a variety of oncological diseases are often-complicated; a review from the physician to validate reported data is crucial. Identifying the diagnosis date and maximum grade of aGVHD and cGVHD are especially challenging, and are verified with the provider. Second, in May 2019, EMR templates for key documentation requirements were implemented. These templates include the required necessary information for diagnosis dates and grading of both aGVHD and cGVHD, and disease assessment with respect to hematologic, molecular, and radiologic interpretation and are completed by the physician. Third, the number of Internal Assessment (IA) forms audited by the DMs on a monthly basis has increased to a total of 24 forms per month, a 14% increase. This increase in the number of forms audited increases the number of data points examined for accuracy. In addition, auditing practice has changed in that the same patients are reviewed over time. The BMT program manager reviews the forms at a monthly audit review meeting. If there are errors, the correction(s) is/are made into FormsNet3. If error trends are identified a CAPA is implemented with the guidance of the Quality Manager. The BMT team also increased the acceptable audit results from 97%-100% to 98%-100%. Conclusion These three strategies are key to achieving the desired result of greater than 98% accuracy rate on completed, submitted CIBMTR forms. The communication meetings with the physicians have broken down the barriers between physicians and DMs and brought everyone to work together toward a common goal. The EMR templates provide a tool for the physicians to document the essential data required. Finally, adding additional IA forms to be audited will provide additional checks for data accuracy. As a result of these strategies, achieving a goal of 98%-100% data accuracy for submitted CIBMTR forms is feasible.

The prenyl group is an important component in bioactive compounds. Herein, we report the assembly of prenylated heteroarenes through a cascade Minisci reaction and acid‐promoted dehydration sequence. The use of potassium (3‐hydroxy‐3‐methylbut‐1‐yl)trifluoroborate as a new coupling reagent allows the direct introduction of prenyl and 3‐hydroxy‐3‐methylbutyl groups to a wide variety of electron‐deficient heteroarenes. Synthetic application is also demonstrated.

Bacille Calmette-Guérin (BCG), an attenuated strain of Mycobacterium bovis, is the only vaccine available for tuberculosis (TB) control. However, BCG is not an ideal vaccine and has two major limitations: BCG exhibits highly variable effectiveness against the development of TB both in pediatric and adult populations and can cause disseminated BCG disease in immunocompromised individuals. BCG comprises a number of substrains that are genetically distinct. Whether and how these genetic differences affect BCG efficacy remains largely unknown. In this study, we performed comparative analyses of the virulence and efficacy of 13 BCG strains, representing different genetic lineages, in SCID and BALB/c mice. Our results show that BCG strains of the DU2 group IV (BCG-Phipps, BCG-Frappier, BCG-Pasteur, and BCG-Tice) exhibit the highest levels of virulence, and BCG strains of the DU2 group II (BCG-Sweden, BCG-Birkhaug) are among the least virulent group. These distinct levels of virulence may be explained by strain-specific duplications and deletions of genomic DNA. There appears to be a general trend that more virulent BCG strains are also more effective in protection against Mycobacterium tuberculosis challenge. Our findings have important implications for current BCG vaccine programs and for future TB vaccine development.

Die-to-die interconnects linking multiple functional dies in a modern 3-D or 2.5-D IC by micro-bumps could experience resistance increase after certain time of field operation due to parametric defects or aging. To cope with this reliability threat, we present an “on-line transition-time binning method” that aims to continuously detect excessive transition time occurring at a target die-to-die interconnect. Our method attaches a monitor to the termination end of each target interconnect. Any transition (rising or falling) is converted into a pulse-width first, which is then further compared to a dynamically tunable threshold for a binary pass/fail judgment. By multiple runs of transition-time monitoring while sweeping the threshold incrementally, the “transition-time bin” of each target interconnect can be derived and thereby a timing failure threat can be detected by a monitor center before it actually strikes.

Background As the workload for completing CIBMTR forms continues to increase, the resources required to complete them has not increased at the same pace. While CPI goals are met at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC), because of resource limitations, achieving CPI is a constant struggle. When CIBMTR announced that the completion of Cellular Therapy forms were highly recommended, how to accurately and timely completion of CPI forms has become our top priority. Method The simplest solution to the problem would be to add resources by hiring an additional Data Manager. However, with the scarcity of knowledgeable resources available, hiring and training a new Data Manager is a challenge. Therefore, with the number of Data Managers at our center, we identified the following strategies to implement to maximize time and effort while maintaining quality and accuracy in completing CIBMTR forms. The first thing we identified was to extract from FormsNet 3 all the forms due for the current CPI period into an excel spreadsheet, and divided the workload up by transplant type. Next, we determined how many forms each Data Manager needed to complete per day to be able to achieve CPI for the reporting period. To ensure we achieved our set goal, we created measures to evaluate progress of form completion. Data Managers provide a biweekly report to the manager, summarizing what was accomplished in the prior two weeks. From the report, Data Managers can determine whether or not they accomplish their set goals and modify accordingly. Furthermore, CIBMTR provides a CPI summary sheet to each center on a weekly basis indicating the current CPI completion percentage with a tool that identifies progress toward CPI goals. In addition, to assist in verifying data accuracy, the Data Managers incorporated internal assessments between Data Managers as well as meeting with primary physicians to discuss and confirm that certain complex data was accurately reported to CIBMTR. Result CPI requirements were met, however, real-time reporting on patients receiving transplant and cell therapy has not been possible. Conclusion While CPI reporting requirements are met, we anticipate that by developing realistic, achievable methods to 1) increase the number of forms completed per day; 2) create a tool to accurately determine the number of forms and which forms are coming due in real time; and 3) create a schedule of additional tasks required of the Data Manager, forms will be completed as transplant and cell therapies are being conducted.

Genistein amino acid derivatives 4a–4d were synthesized and evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against MCF-7, Hela, MGC-803 and HCT-116 cell lines by MTT assays in vitro. The results revealed that compounds 4a–4d showed better activity than the parent compound genistein. Particularly, compound 4b displayed the most significant anticancer activity against MGC-803 with an IC50 value of 12.08 μM. In addition, the mechanisms of interaction between genistein, compounds 4a–4d and BSA were investigated via multi-spectroscopic techniques such as ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy, fluorescence, circular dichroism (CD), and molecular docking under physiological conditions. The results suggested that endogenous fluorescence of BSA could be quenched by genistein and compounds 4a–4d via forming BSA-compound complex, which meant a static quenching mechanism was involved. The negative values of enthalpy (ΔH) and entropy (ΔS) indicated that interactions between BSA and the ligands were spontaneous, and hydrogen bonding and van der Waals interactions were involved in the BSA-compound complexion formation. The UV, synchronous and 3D fluorescence results revealed that the micro-environment of tryptophan and conformation of BSA were changed after binding to ligands. CD analysis demonstrated the variation in the secondary structure and that the α-helix content of BSA decreased. Eventually, molecular docking was executed to forecast the binding forces and binding sites between BSA and compounds 4a–4d.

Background Medical data has long been generated and shared. Today, not only do healthcare analytics assist us in understanding past performance, but is also used to obtain insight into what may occur in the future. Healthcare analytics has become essential, achievable, and unavoidable. The Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) department at one Comprehensive Cancer Center has firsthand experience with a variety of healthcare software and informatics programs. In 2015, a team from the organization reported the process of choosing the best match for BMT informatics software. At present, the BMT department has set out to use a new hospital software program, "Software M", which helps hospitals use patient-oriented data to manage, measure and monitor quality, patient safety, financial and clinical outcomes. [1] The BMT data managers (DM), along with the BMT Program Manager, have taken advantage of this software's quality performance aspect to improve their CIBMTR data accuracy rate. Method Internal assessments (IA) were completed and audited by the DM for validity and quality of registry data. After auditing the IA forms, the DM entered monthly IA through "Software M". In the past, calculating results proved laborious. Now, calculating the accuracy rate of CIBMTR data has become much more efficient. Using the software has improved DM efficiency and leaves less room for data entry error. To enhance output of the report, the DM provided a variety of IA forms to a healthcare analyst at the hospital. According to CIBMTR criteria, the DM distinguished which IA form fields were critical fields versus random fields. Data could now be displayed through a variety of visual representations, the DM reviewed the output requirements with the analyst. Results Identified output resulted in the following: Total number (No.) of questions (QNS) correct; total No. of QNS answered; percent success overall; total No. of critical QNS answered; total No. of correct critical QNS; percentage success of critical QNS; total No. of non-critical QNS correct; total No. of non-critical QNS answered; percentage success of non-critical QNS. In addition, a graph with the overall, critical, and random percentages is displayed. After the use of "Software M", the analysis of the accuracy rate has become significantly more precise and descriptive. CONCLUSION Healthcare analytics is making data more accessible than ever. Over the past four years, the BMT department has made advances with state-of-the-art technology. Trends of the data accuracy rates of IA can be viewed at a glance and if need be, corrected in a more timely manner, improving overall outcomes and allowing for a thorough training for staff. With CIBMTR and FACT standards becoming increasingly stringent, better strategies for timely data analysis are key.

A faulty interposer in a 2.5-D integrated circuit often results in a hefty loss as the potentially expensive known-good-dies bonded on the interposer will have to be discarded as well. To avoid such a last-minute loss during a multichip integration process, built-in self-repair (BISR) is highly valuable. Even though there have been many BISR schemes in the literature, the proposed method offers a number of distinct features. First, it can target not only catastrophic faults, but also timing faults. Second, it can be applied to general multi-pin interconnects and it can be applied to repair an interposer with multiple faulty interconnects. Third, it can perform the test-and-then-repair flow on-the-fly, and thereby eliminating the overhead of extra repair storage incurred in previous methods.

One strategy to develop the next generation of tuberculosis vaccines is to construct subunit vaccines based on T cell antigens. In this study, we have evaluated the vaccine potential of a fusion protein combining EsxB, EsxD, EsxG, EsxU, and EsxM of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tb). This recombinant protein, named BM, was expressed in and purified from Escherichia coli. Immunization of C57BL/6 mice with purified BM protein formulated in Freund's incomplete adjuvant induced the production of Th1 cytokines (IFN-γ, TNF, and IL-2) and multifunctional CD4+ T cells. Vaccination of BALB/c mice with BM protein followed by intravenous challenge with Mycobacterium bovis BCG resulted in better levels of protection than the two leading antigens, Ag85A and PPE18. Taken together, these results indicate that BM is a protective antigen. Future studies to combine BM with other antigens and evaluate its effectiveness as a booster of BCG or as a therapeutic vaccine are warranted.

This paper discusses the Structure and preparation of laser direct writing process circuit board materials and key devices, introduces the laser chemical vapor deposition of circuit board material, laser-induced liquid reactive deposition circuit board materials and laser cladding wiring, in order to avoid laser excessive damage to the substrate surface. The overall surface of the substrate coated with a Film of heat actuable adhesive, then evenly spread a layer of metal powder, after roll, using laser heating to activate adhesive film, on the ceramic substrate and glass substrate, cladding and preparation to become line material and various passive components materials, that is to say, direct write a line and thick film resistive device on the circuit board, study the parameters and optimization of laser micro-cladding IC material manufacturing equipment, with silver and Ag-Pd alloy powder as a conductive metal and organic film material as an organic slurry system of binder phase, can prepare metal wire material in an organic epoxy board, having a thickness of 20m, the minimum width may be less than 80m, the conductivity 10-5.

A novel silica gel based absorbent SG-H2L1, capable of simultaneous adsorption of cations and anions from aqueous solution, was prepared by immobilization of a ditopic zwitterionic Schiff base ligand H2L1 onto a modified silica gel. The functionalized silica gels were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis and porous structure analysis. The results showed a degree of functionalization of 0.32 mmol H2L1 per gram of SG-H2L1. The effect of pH, contact time and initial Cu(II) and SO42− concentration parameters on the simultaneous adsorption of Cu(II) and SO42− ions were investigated. The adsorption was fast and the effective pH range for simultaneous adsorption of Cu(II) and SO42− was neutral region. The adsorption study showed that SG-H2L1 had good adsorption efficiency for Cu(II) and SO42−, and the maximum adsorption capacity for Cu(II) and SO42−, respectively, was the same of 0.65 mmol g−1 at 25 °C. Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models were employed to analyze the experimental data, and the Langmuir model fitted better for both Cu(II) and SO42−. Due to the zwitterionic feature, desorption and regeneration of the absorbent was readily realized by adjusting the pH of the regenerating media with diluted H2SO4 (0.5 mol L−1) and ammonia solution (pH = 10), respectively. The new type absorbent SG-H2L1 exhibited good recyclability and reusability for 5 cycles use without deterioration in its functionality. Therefore, the adsorbent can be used effectively for efficient and simultaneous adsorption of Cu(II) and SO42− from waste water. The mechanism for simultaneous adsorption of cation and anions on SG-H2L1 was also discussed. This study provides a strategy for the development of new absorbents for simultaneous adsorption of hazardous metal ions and anions from waste water effluents.

Four species of Mastrus Förster, 1869 are reported from China. Two, Mastrus nigrus Sheng & Zeng, sp. n. reared from Arge pullata (Zaddach) and Mastrus rugotergalis Sheng & Zeng, sp. n. reared from Diprion jingyuanensis Xiao & Zhang, are new to science. One, Mastrus deminuens (Hartig, 1838), is a parasitoid of Pachynematus itoi Okutani. A key to species of Mastrus Förster known in China is provided.

We have investigated ultraviolet (UV) irradiation combined with manganese ore (MO) catalyzed ozonation of 4-cholorophenol (4-CP) in aqueous solution. The preliminary results showed UV irradiation and MO had a strong synergetic catalytic effect on ozonation. We also studied the effect of UV lamp power, MO dosage, O3 dosage, initial 4-CP concentration, pH value and temperature. The results showed that high pressure mercury lamp (HPML) was more favorable for the degradation of 4-CP than low pressure mercury lamp (LPML). The optimal MO and O3 dosages were 2 g/L and 2 g/h respectively. When the 4-CP concentration was over 15 mg/L, the decrease of degradation efficiency accelerated. The acid condition was favorable for the degradation of 4-CP by UV/MO/O3. The reaction temperature could not be over 50°C. Through the mechanism discussion, we found that Mn2 + was the most important species to catalyze the ozonation. In addition, UV irradiation could also accelerate the degradation by promoting the production of ∙OH.

The fixed clamp should be installed inside the BOP stack for sectional blockage and tubing pulling job. When there is combined string in downhole, it causes inconvenience in replacing slips of different specifications because of pressure in BOP stack. To solve the problems mentioned above, variable diameter slip was invented. Different arc's central angle model of slip was set by ANSYS, the oil tube was divided by sweep while the slip was divided randomly. The analysis shows the arc's central angle for clamping o73 oil tube is 106°and the clamping force meets operation needs and the design requirements.

The elevator being used in field application causes several problems such as low level of mechanization and high intensity of labor. Therefore, electromotion elevator is developed and tested in this paper, which works with mechanized workover equipments. On the base of traditional elevator, the safety pin for the rings is driven by a spring and its own gravity, while the door of the elevator, with self-locking function, is driven by a DC motor which is remotely controlled. Through the field test and application, the electromotion elevator shows desirable safety, reliability and continuous working ability, which satisfy the requirement of workover operation. Introduction Elevator is one of the commonly used tools for lifting and lowering oilfield tubular out of, or into an oil, gas or geothermal well. In hoisting a joint of tubular, the elevators are latched onto the pipe below the tool joint which prevents the pipe from slipping through the elevators. In the process of workover operation, the movement of the elevator, the opening and closing of the elevator door and the safety pin were manually finished, which leaded to high labor intensity, complex procedure and some security risks. As the oil and gas exploitation in some oil field comes to the late stage, workover operation frequency increased greatly, and the disadvantages of traditional elevators have become increasingly prominent. The elevators driven by hydraulic power have been produced by the famous petroleum equipment manufacturers such as National Oilwell Varco (BX series) and Blohmand Voss Repair GmbH. Typically the hydraulic elevators were hinged to the hook with a hydraulic pipeline and the workers operated the elevator in the distance. However, because of the existence of hydraulic pipeline, the elevator could not be taken turns and the working radius was quite limited. In additional, the hydraulic elevators were usually of big size and weight, which was more suitable for drilling and completion but the workover process. In this paper, an electromotion elevator is designed, optimized and tested in field application. Structure and Working Principle Using a traditional elevator body, the electromotion elevator has four newly designed parts, named motor driven door, safety pin, and waterproof cover, respectively. Motor driven door. The motor driven door comprises a DC motor, a worm-gear reducer, transmission gears, a door with gear teeth and battery, as shown in Fig. 1. The door could be rotated by the motor to close or unclose the hatch of the elevator body. There are three advantages in using a worm-gear shape reducer: transmitting the rotary motion from the motor to the door, increasing the driving torque and locking the door to prevent the tube from slipping through the elevator taking advantage of the function of anti-directional self-locking. The electrical control system comprises electromagnetic relay switches and distance controller. The work radius of the controller is more than 30 meters. Safety pin. There is one safety pin hole in each hanger arm, and the hole is rectangular and symmetrical to the central axis. The safety pins are of “U” shape and are installed in the holes together with a compression spring. One end of the spring is fixed to the elevator body and the other end is fixed to the pin. When the elevator is put on the wellhead platform, the end A of the safety pin will get in touch with the plane and the spring will be compressed by the gravity of the elevator body, as a result the end B of the pin will retract into the hanger arm to make room for the insertion and removal of the elevator bail. Once the elevator is hoisted by the elevator bail, the end A of the pin will be pulled out under the action of the elastic force of the spring, meanwhile the end B of the pin approach the bottom of the gap of the hanger arm. The well fluid generated by overflow an extrusion contains water and oil which may do great harm, such as corrosion and short circuit. By the field test, the water entering into the electric control system may by splashing to the elevator directly or through the opening of the elevator crescent. So the waterproofing ability of all the motor and other electrical components must reach level IP-4 to prevent the water resulting in the short circuit faults. A lot of Cl,S and etc. ions due to the high salinity underground, so the above electrical components can be corroded by the well fluid. Therefore the electrical system of the crescent should be sealed further. The sealing device is showed in the Fig. 3. In which the motor and battery are placed in a whole metal shell, and the shell and the rear cover form the complete sealing region A by the rubber strip to prevent the water splashing into the electrical system.

In the title compound, [Ni(C16H23N2O)2(NCS)2], a mononuclear complex possessing Ci symmetry, the NiII atom is coordinated by six atoms from two Schiff bases and two thio­cyanate anions. In the crystal structure, mol­ecules are held together by intermolecular N—H⋯S hydrogen bonds, which link the mol­ecules along the b axis to form one-dimensional chains.

In the title mononuclear complex, [Ag(C5H6N2)2](CF3O2), the Ag atom is coordinated in an almost linear configuration by the pyridine N atoms of two 4-amino­pyridine ligands. An O atom from the tri­fluoro­acetate anion weakly ligates to the Ag atom to give a T-shaped environment. In the crystal structure, the two moieties are interconnected by N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and weak Ag⋯F interactions to form layers.
