The issue of classifying the coloristic information contained in national costumes is considered as an invariable element of the external attributes of ethnonational identity using the case of the Republic of Udmurtia national costume. The research work employs a systems approach and general scientific research methods (analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, comparison, generalization and systematization), as well as a number of special methods: historiographic analysis of research literature on the topic and methods of art historical analysis. The findings of this research works are as follows: the color codes in the national costumes of the peoples of the Republic of Udmurtia contain references to several key aspects of ethnonational identity: social status, marital status, age, and gender. The color codes also differ depending on geography: the northern costume of the Udmurts differs from the southern version both in cut and decor, and in the color scheme of the costume. It is concluded that the color code is a visual expression of the Udmurts’ ethnocultural identity.

- Abstract
Terrorist attacks aim to maximize human fatalities and related damages to instill fear within the community. Such attacks are considered High Impact Attacks (HIAs) and orchestrating them requires considerable organizational setup and resources. This study extends the implementation of the Iterative Outlier Analysis (IOA) heuristics developed earlier to each region reported in the Global Terrorism Database (GTD). It reinforces and generalizes the finding that the "nkill" attribute resulted in richer sets of HIAs in regions where terrorism is prolific compared to the composite measure Global Terrorism Index—Impact Score (GTI-IS). HIA dataset of each region facilitates the identification and ranking of the Most Active Organizations (MAOs). Moreover, this study proposes a consistency and intensity code (CIC) to classify terrorist organizations capable of HIAs using four color categories. K-Means validate the number of clusters. The frequency of MAOs rank follows distinct probability distribution in each CIC category. Finally, this research identified the most virulent consistent and intense terrorist organizations (CITO) capable of perpetrating attacks in multiple regions. Regional counterterrorism policymakers can use such a classification method. A non-parametric hypothesis test confirmed that the contribution of ideologies varies significantly by region. Recently, the use of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) at production sites has been increasing due to industrial development, such as the introduction of smart factories. AGVs utilizing the wired induction method, which is cheaper and faster than the wireless induction method, are mainly used at production sites. However, the wired guidance AGV operation system has the disadvantage of being limited to small-batch or collaboration-based production sites, since it is difficult to change the driving route. In this paper, we propose an AGV line-scan algorithm that can perform route recognition, driving commands, and operation through color-code recognition using an Arduino controller and a low-cost vision sensor, instead of the optical sensor conventionally used for these functions. When the proposed algorithm is applied to the AGV car, the CMUcam 5 Pixy2 camera identifies the driving path to follow by tracking a black line using the Otsu method. In addition, it can be confirmed that the driving command is executed using the proposed color code by applying the color recognition function of the CMUcam 5 Pixy2. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

TERRORISM , *DATABASES , *TRUST , *COLOR codes - Abstract
This research develops an innovative terror threat advisory system capable of visually communicating variations in the terrorism levels to policymakers or the public and forecasts future levels. Earlier attempts to create similar advisory systems by policymakers were either discontinued or lost their relevance due to a trust deficit in the system. We propose a novel approach for creating a color scheme and utilize it to develop an intuitive caterpillar diagram summarizing various stages of terrorism. It incorporates Global Terrorism Impact Scores for a nation or region using the Global Terrorism Database (GTD). Further, color transitions in the caterpillar diagram between consecutive periods mimic a Markovian process, thereby enabling us to develop the forecasting model. We successfully demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed caterpillar diagram and forecasting model for India, Iraq, and their respective regions. The forecasting model suggests that the aggressive terrorism stage depicted by red color and transient stages of ascent (yellow) and descent (cyan) are the most probable in these nations and their regions. The proposed caterpillar diagram is an innovative visualization approach to identify terrorism patterns, from which a Markovian forecasting model is developed to aid policymakers. Our approach applies to any event-based database like GTD. Finally, the caterpillar diagram is a domain-independent framework that can visualize variations in any univariate data series, thereby assisting in system monitoring. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Since the discovery of antibiotics, the emergence of antibiotic resistance has become a global issue that is threatening society. In the era of antibiotic resistance, finding the proper antibiotics through antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) is crucial in clinical settings. However, the current clinical process of AST based on the broth microdilution test has limitations on scalability to expand the number of antibiotics that are tested with various concentrations. Here, we used color-coded droplets to expand the multiplexing of AST regarding the kind and concentration of antibiotics. Color type and density differentiate the kind of antibiotics and concentration, respectively. Microscopic images of a large view field contain numbers of droplets with different testing conditions. Image processing analysis detects each droplet, decodes color codes, and measures the bacterial growth in the droplet. Testing E. coli ATCC 25922 with ampicillin, gentamicin, and tetracycline shows that the system can provide a robust and scalable platform for multiplexed AST. Furthermore, the system can be applied to various drug testing systems, which require several different testing conditions.

10. THE SEMANTICS OF COLORATIVES IN TOLSTOY’S NARRATIVES ('THE DEATH OF IVAN ILYICH', 'THE KREUTZER SONATA', 'THE DEVIL')

In Tolstoy’s stories of the 1870s the coloratives have negative semantics. In “The Death of Ivan Ilyich” the yellow color “implicates” a movement to death. In “The Kreutzer Sonata” this color aggravates Pozdnyshev’s moral sufferings and embodies deception and lust. In “The Devil” the description of Lisa’s yellow complexion reveals Irtenev’s negative attitude to her. In “The Death of Ivan Ilyich” the pink and green cretonne of a “fashionable” living room loses its grandiosity in the house of the deceased man. In “The Death of Ivan Ilyich” the white color of clothes initially associated by the character with confidence in the future, then resulted in the patient’s dislike and was seen as evidence of inconsiderateness of people. In “The Kreutzer Sonata” the white color, in Trukhachevsky’s portrait, turned Pozdnyshev against him even more. In “The Devil” the white color Lisa was accompanied with provoked the growth of Irtenev’s irritation. In “The Kreutzer Sonata” the semantics of the red color is disturbing, ominous, and associated with debauchery and lie. In “The Devil” the description of the red clothes replaces the portrait characteristics of Stepanida; for Irtenev the red panyova and the red headscarf of his mistress became the symbols of the devilish temptation. In “The Death of Ivan Ilyich” the black color, being an attribute of mental and physical illness of the character, began to correspond to the image of a black sack devouring the person. In “The Kreutzer Sonata” an infernal black and red color scale contributes to the presentiment of tragedy. In “The Devil” the black color discovers Irtenev’s increasing dependence on delusion. In “The Kreutzer Sonata” the coloratives with the root “light” are related to Pozdnyshev’s insight concerning his family life, based on deception. In “The Death of Ivan Ilyich” “light” liberates the character of death anxiety and grants him a joy of interfluence with the world. In the given stories of Tolstoy there is presented color writing not a color code. Not all the coloratives fulfill a descriptive and prospective functions.

The paper is devoted to identification of color and light naming (coloratives) and narrative discourse strategies in L.N. Tolstoy's novel “Resurrection”. In the novel, L.N. Tolstoy makes the emphasis on recreation of the color and light palette of the nature. Thus, one of the dominant discourse strategies of this novel is the discourse strategy of landscape painting, which is connected with all discourse strategies, such as discourse mythopoetical strategy, discourse strategy of portrait painting, discourse strategy of plot and compositional development, discourse psychological strategy, discourse social strategy, discourse publicistic strategy, and philosophical and religious discourse strategy. While depicting the nature which acts as a religious and moral substance, all coloratives influence D. Nekhlyudov's transfiguration and are included in the discourse strategy of plot and compositional development. Anticipating the bad deeds of the protagonist, the nature sends him warning signs. Enjoying the enlightenment of the protagonist, the nature inscribes him in its own harmonious existence. Describing the transformation of the protagonist, L.N. Tolstoy destroys the negative semantics of some coloratives and actualizes their sacred significance inherent in the Gospel. The darkness symbolizing D. Nekhlyudov's sin and the nature's sorrow in connection with the violation of human kindness and love stops being horrible. In the second part of the novel, the black color loses its sinister significance; it predetermines the resurrection of the protagonist and is included in the discourse strategy of plot and compositional development and is a part of the philosophical and religious discourse strategy. The red color loses its negative semantics and becomes the blissful light source; it correlates with the color of an icon lamp. The green and yellow colors acquire the existential value associated with the indestructible life. The emergence such сoloratives as purple, light, and white in the novel reflects the turning of L.N. Tolstoy's protagonists to goodness and service of the God. In the novel “Resurrection”, all coloratives do not only perform the distinctive function, but also the descriptive and prospective functions, being included in the discourse strategy of landscape painting, discourse strategy of plot and compositional development, and philosophical and religious discourse strategy that dominates in the ending of the novel. The conclusion has been made that there is a color code in the novel “Resurrection”, which reflects the increasing skill of L.N. Tolstoy and the strengthening of his religious beliefs.

The IEEE 802.15.7r1 Optical Wireless Communications Task Group (TG7r1), also known as the revision of the IEEE 802.15.7 Visible Light Communication standard targeting the commercial usage of visible light communication systems, is of interest in this paper. The paper is mainly concerned with Image Sensor Communications (ISC) of TG7r1; however, the major challenge facing ISC, as addressed in the Technical Consideration Document (TCD) of TG7r1, is Image Sensor Compatibility among the variety of different commercial cameras on the market. One of the most challenging but interesting compatibility requirements is the need to support the verified presence of frame rate variation. This paper proposes a novel design for 2D-sequential color code. Compared to a QR-code-based sequential transmission, the proposed design of 2D-sequential code can overcome the above challenge that it is compatible with different frame rate variations and different shutter operations, and has the ability to mitigate the rolling effect as well as the rotating effect while effectively minimizing transmission overhead. Practical implementations are demonstrated and a performance comparison is presented.

The locating-chromatic number of a graph G can be defined as the cardinality of a minimum resolving partition of the vertex set V(G) such that all vertices have distinct coordinates with respect to this partition and every two adjacent vertices in G are not contained in the same partition class. In this case, the coordinate of a vertex v in G is expressed in terms of the distances of v to all partition classes. This concept is a special case of the graph partition dimension notion. Previous authors have characterized all graphs of order n with locating-chromatic number either n or n-1. They also proved that there exists a tree of order n, n≥5, having locating-chromatic number k if and only if k ∈{3,4,…,n-2,n}. In this paper, we characterize all trees of order n with locating-chromatic number n - t, for any integers n and t, where n > t+3 and 2 ≤ t < n/2.

Topological quantum error correcting codes have emerged as leading candidates towards the goal of achieving large-scale fault-tolerant quantum computers. However, quantifying entanglement in these systems of large size in the presence of noise is a challenging task. In this paper, we provide two different prescriptions to characterize noisy stabilizer states, including the surface and the color codes, in terms of localizable entanglement over a subset of qubits. In one approach, we exploit appropriately constructed entanglement witness operators to estimate a witness-based lower bound of localizable entanglement, which is directly accessible in experiments. In the other recipe, we use graph states that are local unitary equivalent to the stabilizer state to determine a computable measurement-based lower bound of localizable entanglement. If used experimentally, this translates to a lower bound of localizable entanglement obtained from single-qubit measurements in specific bases to be performed on the qubits outside the subsystem of interest. Towards computing these lower bounds, we discuss in detail the methodology of obtaining a local unitary equivalent graph state from a stabilizer state, which includes a new and scalable geometric recipe as well as an algebraic method that applies to general stabilizer states of arbitrary size. Moreover, as a crucial step of the latter recipe, we develop a scalable graph-transformation algorithm that creates a link between two specific nodes in a graph using a sequence of local complementation operations. We develop open-source Python packages for these transformations, and illustrate the methodology by applying it to a noisy topological color code, and study how the witness and measurement-based lower bounds of localizable entanglement varies with the distance between the chosen qubits.

This paper presents the design of Mini Brain Games (MBGs) to improve either the left or right hemisphere of the brain. The MBG includes spot the difference, piano, block view, word building, word scrambler, sudoku, left hand control, memory card, flash card, crossword, math logic and mnemonics technique used for the order of operations in algebra, the planets in solar system, and resistor color code. Stroop test and brain dominance test are used to measure the level of balance between the two hemispheres of the brain before and after the exercise program. The mini brain games designed in the Brain Balancing System Windows Application are shown to improve the balance between the left and right hemisphere of the brain. The results show that the mini brain games are indeed able to assist in the left or right brain development. The largest improvement achieved is that the percentage of dominance between the two brain hemispheres is reduced by 18.18%. The smallest improvement achieved was that the difference between the two brain hemispheres was reduced by 9.08%.

Let G be a graph with an edge k-coloring γ: E(G) → {1; …; k} (not necessarily proper). A path is called a rainbow path if all of its edges have different colors. The map γis called a rainbow coloring if any two vertices can be connected by a rainbow path. The map γis called a strong rainbow coloring if any two vertices can be connected by a rainbow geodesic. The smallest k for which there is a rainbow k-coloring (resp. strong rainbow k-coloring) on G is called the rainbow connection number (resp. strong rainbow connection number) of G, denoted rc(G) (resp. src(G)). In this paper we generalize the notion of "color codes" that was originally used by Chartrand et al. in their study of the rc and src of complete bipartite graphs, so that it now applies to any connected graph. Using color codes, we prove a new class of lower bounds depending on the existence of sets with common neighbours. Tight examples are discussed, involving the amalgamation of complete graphs, generalized wheel graphs, and a special class of sequential join of graphs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

An intelligent system is designed in this proposal to handle this crucial situation in a better way. The algorithm is developed in such a way that medical equipment are disposed of in hospitals as normal. If the hospital has a COVID-19 block the used equipment should be disposed of in a closed lid so that the spread of viruses can be reduced. The main motive of this proposal is to reduce the human resources, improve waste disposal, and make the waste reusable. In a hospital environment there is different color code that decides which equipment should be disposed of. The doctors and the nurse are the people who decide what color code is to be used for the disposal of medical equipment. The different color-coded waste bin is chosen for making reusable waste into a fertilizer for agricultural fields. To do this process the system is designed in an efficient method and cost reduction is maintained until the end of the process. Before entering the recycling process all the waste should be sanitized. After the verification process is done on the waste materials the recycling process gets started on the basis of the color code of the waste collection. A smart bin will be designed for each color code based on the usage of the medical equipment; the segregation process will be carried out in each phase. In the final phase after the recycling process it will be used as fertilizer and will be distributed to the farmers to improve crop yield. An algorithm is going to work on data verification and checking process, which will be done automatically. After the data automation process a intimation will be sent to the final testing process where it helps us to do segregation process in an efficient way.

QR code widely used as an url to link to a website or data that contains the essential text to fetch. Its nearly a decade has been used in day today life on products. An idea about re-inventing the qr code in such a way that making files in transformation of base64 (code text)which then formatted to a pattern of qr code which enables qr code has the content of the file. Now when a person scans the QR(Quick Response) code without the interaction with the internet he gets the app or the file in his device. While in this if the scanner of the app has the predefined AR(Augmented reality) object which helps the today's world to make an advertisable mode for attracting customers. Like adding a predefined cube with rotating animation. Now the user just has to add text on what side has to be placed. so image code just has to contain the text on which side and what speed the cube to rotate. By this a new way already defined library holding in decoder or scanner app helps the user interaction and content delivery easily. In this adding color QR code which gives the possibility to explore more data into it .

Tactile maps are accessible for visually impaired people. Therefore, studies on the use of graphic variables in tactile cartography are necessary. A search for papers related to the keyword "tactile map" was conducted in the Scopus database and in the annals of the International Cartographic Conference, between the years 2009 and 2019, with the objective of identifying in the international literature the topics concerning to graphic variables, especially those related to color code systems. Among the full manuscripts found in the Scopus and International Cartographic Association databases, the countries with the largest number of publications in the tactile cartography field were Brazil, United States, Greece, Spain and Germany. The main topics related to tactile maps in the last 10 years were: visual impairment, navigation and wayfinding, perception, universal design, among others. Some of the papers suggest the representation of colors for colorblind people, but there is a gap regarding the use of color codes as graphic variables on tactile maps.

Physical activity (PA) performed in group can slow down the decline in motor functions in people with disabilities. With this objective, Interactive Rehab Orchestra (IRO) was developed. IRO is an interactive multiplayer musical game that looks for reducing sedentary lifestyles by promoting PA. The individuals are responsible for playing the melody correctly. To do that, they must perform a movement when the on-screen avatar reaches a certain area. If the action is not performed, the melody will stop playing for a certain time interval. IRO is highly configurable, allowing the controller to be adapted to player skills. The customization of melodies and images is also possible according to the players’ preferences, which helps to enhance player engagement. In addition, a configurable color code allows identifying when to perform an action. IRO incorporates a statistical summary to assess the evolution of the user. In this way, IRO aims at encouraging PA through music to maintain/improve muscle tone and the subjects’ mobility, quantifying PA intensity, in relation to motor skills, and promoting PA so that participants can adhere to a specific program with long-term follow-up.

We develop color code-based pyrosequencing with di-base addition for analysis of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). When a di-base is added into the polymerization, one or several two-color code(s) containing the type and the number of incorporated nucleotides will be produced. The code information obtained in a single run is useful to genotype SNPs as each allelic variant will give a specific pattern compared to the two other variants. Special care has to be taken while designing the di-base dispensation order. Here, we present a detailed protocol for establishing sequence-specific di-base addition to avoid nonsynchronous extension at the SNP sites. By using this technology, as few as 50 copies of DNA templates were accurately sequenced. Higher signals were produced and thus a relatively lower sample amount was required. Furthermore, the read length of per flow was increased, making simultaneous identification of multiple SNPs in a single sequencing run possible. Validation of the method was performed by using templates with two SNPs covering 37 bp and with three SNPs covering 58 bp as well as 82 bp. These SNPs were successfully genotyped by using only a sequencing primer in a single PCR/sequencing run. Our results demonstrated that this technology could be potentially developed into a powerful methodology to accurately determine SNPs so as to diagnose clinical settings. Previous authors have characterized all graphs of order n with locatingchromatic number either n or n - 1. They also proved that there exists a tree of order n, n ≥ 5, having locating-chromatic number k if and only if k ∊ {3,4,..., n - 2, n}. In this paper, we characterize all trees of order n with locating-chromatic number n - n, for any integers n and t, where n > t + 3 and 2 ≤ t < n/2. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Let G = ( V , E ) be a connected graph. The locating-chromatic number of G , denoted by χ L ( G ), is the cardinality of a minimum locating coloring of the vertex set V ( G ) such that all vertices have distinct coordinates. The results on locating-chromatic number of graphs are still limited. In particular, the locating-chromatic number of trees is not completely solved. Therefore, in this paper, we study the locating-chromatic number of any binary tree. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The development of assistive technologies is improving the independent access of blind and visually impaired people to visual artworks through non-visual channels. Current single modality tactile and auditory approaches to communicate color contents must compromise between conveying a broad color palette, ease of learning, and suffer from limited expressiveness. In this work, we propose a multi-sensory color code system that uses sound and scent to represent colors. Melodies express each color’s hue and scents the saturated, light, and dark color dimensions for each hue. In collaboration with eighteen participants, we evaluated the color identification rate achieved when using the multi-sensory approach. Seven (39%) of the participants improved their identification rate, five (28%) remained the same, and six (33%) performed worse when compared to an audio-only color code alternative. The participants then evaluated and compared a color content exploration prototype that uses the proposed color code with a tactile graphic equivalent using the System Usability Scale. For a visual artwork color exploration task, the multi-sensory color code integrated prototype received a score of 78.61, while the tactile graphics equivalent received 61.53. User feedback indicates that the multi-sensory color code system improved the convenience and confidence of the participants.

Language learners face difficulties while reading and comprehending Arabic text, this is because of the interwoven nature of Arabic script. In this paper, we present (Arcode) an automatic web-based system, which simplifies instruction on Arabic word decoding and comprehension through utilizing color-coding on Arabic text. The system is designed to help Arabic language learners to analyze and identify attached affixes (prefixes & suffixes), particle and silent letters of the selected text, and sentences based on the sentence morphological structure. This is done by encoding and presenting color conversion per word and character, using a certain color code. The proposed system is a combination of color-coding technique, transliteration, and text-to-speech technologies that creates an educational tool for learning the Arabic language. It also provides web services for developers who want to integrate the system into their own applications.

The See Color is a color coding system based on Braille writing to communicate colors to people with visual impairments. This study assessed the perception of the theme Temperature by blind people, by using the See Color code on two isarithmic tactile maps and the perception of subjects with normal color vision. An average temperature map of Australia had 10 classes, but these intervals were regrouped into four classes on Corel Draw software. The new map was duplicated in the digital project in A4 size, both included the See Color code in two color schemes obtained from the Color Brewer website. Subsequently, they were laser-printed on swell paper to produce the tactile relief. The chromatic perception was observed, as well as the thermal sensations that the colors could represent for blind participants (06), normally sighted participants in basic education (23), and normally sighted participants in higher education (20). In this research, the See Color code showed the potential to provide spatial knowledge as a graphic language through colors in color maps for adventitiously blind and for normally sighted participants based on their perception of colors and tactile color codes.

With the advent of the big data era, information storage and security are becoming increasingly important. However, high capacity information storage and multilevel anti-counterfeiting are typically difficult to achieve simultaneously. To address this challenge, herein, two electrochromic and electrofluorochromic dual-functional polymers with aggregation-induced emission (AIE) characteristics were rationally designed and facilely prepared. Upon applying voltages, the absorption and fluorescence spectra of the AIE polymers can undergo reversible changes, accompanied by variation of their color and emission. By utilizing the controllable characteristics of the polymers, dual-mode display devices were fabricated via a simple spraying technique. More interestingly, a four-dimensional color code device was constructed by adding color change multiplexing to the two-dimensional space, thereby achieving high capacity information storage. Moreover, the color code device can also be applied in the multilevel anti-counterfeiting area. The encrypted information can be dynamically converted under different voltages. Thus, the AIE polymers show great promise for applications in multidimensional information storage and dynamic anti-counterfeiting, and the design strategy may provide a new avenue for advanced information storage and high security technology., By using electrical stimuli-responsive AIE polymers, dual-mode display devices, multidimensional information storage and anti-counterfeiting devices were constructed.

Color is one of the key sensory characteristics in the evaluation of the quality of mangos (Mangifera indica) especially with regard to determining the optimal level of ripeness. However, an objective color determination of entire fruits can be a challenging task. Conventional evaluation methods such as colorimetric or spectrophotometric procedures are primarily limited to a homogenous distribution of the color. Accordingly, a direct assessment of the mango quality with regard to color requires more pronounced color determination procedures. In this study, the color of the peel and the pulp of the mango cultivars &ldquo, Nam Dokmai&rdquo, &ldquo, Mahachanok&rdquo, and &ldquo, Kent&rdquo, was evaluated and categorized into various levels of ripeness using a charge-coupled device (CCD) camera in combination with a computer vision system and color standards. The color evaluation process is based on a transformation of the RGB (red, green, and blue) color space values into the HSI (hue, saturation, and intensity) color system and the Natural Color Standard (NCS). The results showed that for pulp color codes, 0560-Y20R and 0560-Y40R can be used as appropriate indicators for the ripeness of the cultivars &ldquo, The peels of these two mango cultivars present two distinct colors (1050-Y40R and 1060-Y40R), which can be used to determine the fruit maturity during the post-ripening process. However, in the case of the cultivar &ldquo, peel color detection was not an applicable approach for determining ripeness, thus, the determination of the pulp color with the color code 0550-Y20R gave promising results.

Introduction From public health perspectives of COVID-19 pandemic, accurate estimates of infection severity of individuals are extremely valuable for the informed decision-making and targeted response to an emerging pandemic. This paper presents machine learning based prognostic model for providing early warning to the individuals for COVID-19 infection using the healthcare dataset. In the present work, a prognostic model using random forest classifier and support vector regression is developed for predicting the infection susceptibility probability (ISP) score of COVID-19, and it is applied on an open healthcare dataset containing 27 field values. The typical fields of the healthcare dataset include basic personal details such as age, gender, number of children in the household, and marital status along with medical data like coma score, pulmonary score, blood glucose level, HDL cholesterol, etc. An effective preprocessing method is carried out for handling the numerical and categorical values (non-numerical) and missing data in the healthcare dataset. The correlation between the variables in the healthcare data is analyzed using the correlation coefficient, and heat map with a color code is used to identify the influencing factors on the infection susceptibility probability (ISP) score of COVID-19. Based on the accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and F-scores, it is noted that the random forest classifier provides an improved classification performance as compared to support vector regression for the given healthcare dataset. Android-based mobile application software platform is developed using the proposed prognostic approach for enabling the healthy individuals to predict the susceptibility infection score of COVID-19 to take the precautionary measures. Based on the results of the proposed method, clinicians and government officials can focus on the highly susceptible people for limiting the pandemic spread. Methods In the present work, random forest classifier and support vector regression techniques are applied to a medical healthcare dataset containing 27 variables for predicting the susceptibility score of an individual towards COVID-19 infection, and the accuracy of prediction is compared. An effective preprocessing is carried for handling the missing data in the healthcare dataset. Correlation analysis using heat map is carried on the healthcare data for analyzing the influencing factors of infection susceptibility probability (ISP) score of COVID-19. A confusion matrix is calculated for understanding the performance of classification based on the number of true-positives, true-negatives, false-positives, and false-negatives. These values further used to calculate the accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and F-scores. Results From the classification results, it is noted that the random forest classifier provides a classification accuracy of 99.7%, precision of 99.8%, sensitivity of 98.8%, and F-score of 99.29% for the given medical dataset. Conclusion Proposed machine learning approach can help the individuals to take additional precautions for protecting people from the COVID-19 infection, and clinicians and government officials can focus on the highly susceptible people for limiting the pandemic spread.

The overhead cost of performing universal fault-tolerant quantum computation for large scale quantum algorithms is very high. Despite several attempts at alternative schemes, magic state distillation remains one of the most efficient schemes for simulating non-Clifford gates in a fault-tolerant way. However, since magic state distillation circuits are not fault-tolerant, all Clifford operations must be encoded in a large distance code in order to have comparable failure rates with the magic states being distilled. In this work, we introduce a new concept which we call redundant ancilla encoding. The latter combined with flag qubits allows for circuits to both measure stabilizer generators of some code, while also being able to measure global operators to fault-tolerantly prepare magic states, all using nearest neighbor interactions. In particular, we apply such schemes to a planar architecture of the triangular color code family. In addition to our scheme being suitable for experimental implementations, we show that for physical error rates near $10^{-4}$ and under a full circuit-level noise model, our scheme can produce magic states using an order of magnitude fewer qubits and space-time overhead compared to the most competitive magic state distillation schemes. Further, we can take advantage of the fault-tolerance of our circuits to produce magic states with very low logical failure rates using encoded Clifford gates with noise rates comparable to the magic states being injected. Thus, stabilizer operations are not required to be encoded in a very large distance code. Consequently, we believe our scheme to be suitable for implementing fault-tolerant universal quantum computation with hardware currently under development., Comment: 27 pages, 17 figures, Comments Welcome!

Construction site monitoring is currently performed through visual inspections and costly selective measurements. Due to the small overhead in construction projects, additional resources are scarce to frequently conduct a metric quality assessment of the constructed objects. However, contradictory, construction projects are characterised by high failure costs which are often caused by erroneously constructed structural objects. With the upcoming use of periodic remote sensing during the different phases of the building process, new possibilities arise to advance from a selective quality analysis to an in-depth assessment of the full construction site. In this work, a novel methodology is presented to rapidly evaluate a large number of built objects on a construction site. Given a point cloud and a set of as-design BIM elements, our method evaluates the deviations between both datasets and computes the positioning errors of each object. Unlike the current state of the art, our method computes the error vectors regardless of drift, noise, clutter and (geo)referencing errors, leading to a better detection rate. The main contributions are the efficient matching of both datasets, the drift invariant metric evaluation and the intuitive visualisation of the results. The proposed analysis facilitates the identification of construction errors early on in the process, hence significantly lowering the failure costs. The application is embedded in native BIM software and visualises the objects by a simple color code, providing an intuitive indicator for the positioning accuracy of the built objects. ispartof: Isprs International Journal Of Geo-Information vol:9 issue:9 status: Published online

Hazard assessment techniques and multi-sensor fusion are used for intelligent systematic monitoring. Firstly, a hazard identification technique is considered using failure mode and effect analysis and advantages of using a combined hazard technique is discussed. Data sources are identified considering component failures and some sensors associated with potential failure. Possible consequences in a hazardous situation are identified using failure mode and effect analysis to choose suitable safety measures. Failure mode and effect analysis is systematically considers how sequences of events can lead to accidents by looking at components and faults recorded by sensors and anomalies. Data were presented based on their threat levels using a traffic light color code system. Refineries use sensors to observe the process of crude refining and the monitoring system uses real-time data to access information provided by sensors. Understanding hazard assessments, sensor multi-fusion and sensor pattern recognition in a distillation column could help to identify trends, flag major regions of growing malfunction, model risk threat of a crude distillation column and help to systematically make decisions. The decisions could improve design regulations, eliminate anomalies, improve monitoring and reduce threat levels.

Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU) (Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan), tusupbekova_mzh@mail.ru This article presents an analysis of the word “red” in Russian, Kazakh and English. Comparative analysis includes the study of the vocabulary of color and the color code in different cultures, the definition of the main subsystems of color designations in three languages, the identification of relationships (symmetric, asymmetric) between symbolic meanings and associative representations. Symmetric relationship between the words qyzyl (Kazakh), krasnyi (Russian), and red (English) are realized in the process of matching these words at associative-semantic and cognitive levels. Comparative analysis of the word “red” is conducted under the free associative experiment. It allows revealing the “cultural” specificity of vocabulary units with the greatest objectivity. Free associative experiment includes a selection of words and compilation of an associative field. The associative field is subjected to contrastive-cognitive analysis in order to identify similarities and discrepancies in the meaning of the word “red” in symbolic and cultural senses. This study shows that the word “red” in the associative fields of three languages is equivalent and includes the prototypical image (krasnyi, qyzyl, red – color terms), the peripheral part of the associative field represents figurative representations and cultural meaning.

The vast popularity and useful applications of the QR code were the incentives that encourage the research towards improving its storage capacity and performance. A colored quick response (QR) algorithm is proposed, devised and tested to expand the capacity of the black and white modules to hold colored modules that can fold as many as those available in the 8 bits red-Green-Blue (RGB) color code. Fast Multiplexing Technique (FMT) is established to improve the performance and the storage capacity of the QR color code by multiplexing the black/white QR codes into RGB color shades then folding them into the QR code Modules. Comparative experiments with the classical multiplexing technique -MUX system- proved that FMT has a much better performance, (exponentially faster), while maintaining the capacity multitude to 24 folds that of the classical QR code.

This study reported on the high capacity color code obtained by femtosecond laser-induced surface oxidation on titanium alloy. The color code with quaternary numbers was designed. Various colors were obtained by changing the pulse energy and scanning speed. Moreover, the XPS survey spectra showed the surface chemical composition of different colored areas was TiO2. Experimental reflectance data and simulations showed that the increase of oxide layer thickness led to peak shift and color change. Taking into account the effect of color code unit size on coloring, the processing areas with an area of 1 × 1 mm2 and 6 × 6 mm2 were prepared. Since the color difference showed that the colors obtained under different unit sizes were different, the effect of size should be considered in the actual processing. By changing the scanning speed, different color areas with obvious contrast could be obtained to meet the conditions of color code realization. Therefore, this research further realized the encryption of information on the basis of increasing the information capacity of the marking.

Let G be a graph with an edge k-coloring γ : E(G) → {1, …, k} (not necessarily proper). A path is called a rainbow path if all of its edges have different colors. The map γ is called a rainbow coloring if any two vertices can be connected by a rainbow path. The map γ is called a strong rainbow coloring if any two vertices can be connected by a rainbow geodesic. The smallest k for which there is a rainbow k-coloring (resp. strong rainbow k-coloring) on G is called the rainbow connection number (resp. strong rainbow connection number) of G, denoted rc(G) (resp. src(G)). In this paper we generalize the notion of “color codes” that was originally used by Chartrand et al. in their study of the rc and src of complete bipartite graphs, so that it now applies to any connected graph. Using color codes, we prove a new class of lower bounds depending on the existence of sets with common neighbours. Tight examples are discussed, involving the amalgamation of complete graphs, generalized wheel graphs, and a special class of sequential join of graphs.
