Background. This study aimed to improve the clinical effect of dental orthopedic treatment for patients who need a complete dental reconstruction, by making use of the temporomandibular joint characteristics. Materials and Methods. A total of 647 patients with adentia who needed a complete dental reconstruction were exposed to a comprehensive examination and treatment. Patients were divided into 3 groups: orthopedic rehabilitation group (218 patients), interdisciplinary rehabilitation group (195 patients), and multidisciplinary rehabilitation group (234 patients). The follow-up period was 7 years. Results. After the proposed rehabilitation approach, patients in the main group demonstrated an improvement in the VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) score, which was significantly smaller with respect to that in the comparison groups. The frequency of clicking and pain during chewing as well as soreness sensations in this group decreased at a significantly lower pace compared to that in the comparison groups. Conclusions. Dental reconstruction procedures aimed at restoring the shape of the teeth should focus on pain relief and temporomandibular joint function correction. The most important stage in implementing this approach is a complete and consistent examination of patients who need dental reconstruction.

Objective. To study the dynamics of esthetic indicators during orthopedic dental treatment of patients requiring full-mouth rehabilitation. Materials and methods. Within the study, an examination and treatment of 647 patients with adentia requiring full-mouth rehabilitation were carried out. Patients were divided into three groups. In the first group (218 people), the treatment with standard orthopedic dentistry techniques was performed. The medical care of the second group (195 people) included only several elements of the multidisciplinary approach, while for the third group (234 people), only the interdisciplinary approach was applied. The monitoring of involved patients was carried out for seven years. Results. The application of the developed integrated multidisciplinary approach to orthopedic rehabilitation contributes to the fact that patients with adentia have a more favorable dynamics of esthetic indicators in relation to those who underwent a standard complex of treatment and rehabilitation measures. Thus, a statistically significant decrease was noted in the number of patients with the vertical shift of the smile line; smile asymmetry; gingival displacement; the impaired position of the incisors and fangs; mispronunciation of F and S sounds; inaccurate buccal tube placement; negative changes in the visualization of central incisors under the red border of the lips; differences in the size of the upper and lower central incisors; inadequate proximal contacts; and the inclination of the lower incisors. Conclusions. The use of an interdisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with adentia requiring full-mouth rehabilitation contributes to the constant improvement of aesthetic characteristics of the maxillofacial area.

This study aimed to test the algorithm of complex clinical, functional, and instrumental analysis in the context of treatment for patients with a need of complete dental reconstruction. Materials and methods. A rehabilitation program for patients with adentia was proposed, which was based on the objective examination data obtained comprehensively with multiple diagnostic methods. Particular attention was paid to the temporomandibular joint function and symptoms of maxillofacial muscle abnormalities. Results. The clinical case report covers the results of the examination and treatment of a patient who previously received implants in one of the clinics without an appropriate examination and an operating template. A set of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures was defined that included clinical, functional, and instrumental analysis of condylographic and cephalometric data. The outcomes from treatment and rehabilitation allowed the optimal occlusal load distribution, and the oral hygiene improved. The approach that was used here enabled a timely correction of functional and esthetic disorders. Conclusions. The algorithm to treat patients who need complete dental reconstruction should include asking the medical history, clinical instrumental analysis (condylography), recording and evaluating the static and dynamic occlusal characteristics, and assessing cephalometric and esthetic characteristics. The algorithm is anatomically and pathogenetically justified, since it takes into account all alterations and interconnections between dentofacial structures and other body systems that underlie the clinical manifestations in patients with adentia who have a need for complete dental reconstruction.

In a recent paper Rousseau-Rizzi and Emanuel (2019) presented a derivation of an upper limit on maximum hurricane velocity at the ocean surface. This derivation was based on a consideration of an infinitely narrow (differential) Carnot cycle with the warmer isotherm at the point of the maximum wind velocity. Here we show that this derivation neglected a significant term describing the kinetic energy change in the outflow. Additionally, we highlight the importance of a proper accounting for the power needed to lift liquid water. Finally, we provide a revision to the formula for surface fluxes of heat and momentum showing that, if we accept the assumptions adopted by Rousseau-Rizzi and Emanuel (2019), the resulting velocity estimate does not depend on the flux of sensible heat.

Introduction. Aim of the study is testing the algorithm of complex clinical, functional and instrumental analysis in the treatment of patients with the need for total restoration of the dentition with manifestations of myofascial pain syndrome. Material and methods. A system for the rehabilitation of patients with adentia is proposed, in which, when planning occlusion correction, objective examination data for patients obtained using a set of diagnostic methods should be taken into account. Particular attention is paid to assessing the function of the temporomandibular joint and the presence of pathological signs of disorders of maxillofacial muscles. Results. A clinical case is described a patient who has been diagnosed with a set of indicators of clinical, functional and instrumental analysis obtained using methods of condylography and cephalometry. The results of treatment and rehabilitation measures allowed achieving the optimal distribution of loads on the dentition, while reducing the risk of ceramic chipping and improving oral hygiene. The approach used allowed timely correction of functional and aesthetic disorders. Conclusions. The algorithm for working with patients who need total restoration of the dentition should include a thorough history taking, clinical functional analysis using condylography methods, model analysis to register and evaluate the static and dynamic ratios of the dentition. As well as performing cephalometric analysis and other manipulations, in accordance with standard criteria for clinical examination. The developed algorithm is anatomically and pathogenetically justified, since it takes into account the entirety of changes and interconnections of the structures of the dentofacial system and other body systems that underlie the clinical manifestations in this category of patients.

This case report involved the development of a rehabilitation system for patient with edentulism and an algorithm for diagnostic and therapeutic measures to be planned based on the patient’s individual anatomical and physiological features. The results of treatment and rehabilitation made it possible to achieve the optimal distribution of loads on the dentition. It was shown that it is necessary to analyze casts in an articulator to reproduce a three-dimensional model of mandibular movements taking into account the individual features of the patient to obtain a satisfactory assessment and treatment planning of patients with edentulism requiring full mouth reconstruction. This case confirms that the developed algorithm is anatomically and pathogenetically justified, as it considers all changes and interrelationships of structures of the dentition.

Objectives Planning, adequate preparation, and further prosthodontic management are the most important steps in the treatment of this population of patients with dental and mandibular anomalies. The purpose of the article is the improvement of safety and clinical effectiveness of prosthodontic rehabilitation of patients after full-mouth reconstruction. Materials and Methods A single-center open prospective nonrandomized study, examination, and treatment of 198 patients with partial or total absence of teeth were performed. Higher safety and clinical effectiveness of the treatment were found in the patients of the main group who showed a significant reduction in the rate of complications relative to the comparison group. In the main group, the number of aesthetic defects and cases of repeated prosthetics decreased in comparison with the corresponding occurrence rate of such cases in patient groups. Results It showed statistically significantly reduction in the rates of occurrence of the complications when using the proposed algorithm: the rate of inflammation of the marginal periodontium and peri-implant tissues in the main group was 2.9 times less frequent and loosening of the supporting implants was 3.9 times less frequent. The rate of polymer chipping or abrasion in the area of the incisal edge or masticatory surface was two times lower in the main group of patients, short crowns were found 1.9 times less often, sores in the area of the dental pontic in the main group were 1.8 times less frequent than in the comparison group, and no fractures of bridgework were found in the main group. The frequency of neuralgic facial pain in the patients of the main group was 5.2 times less than in the comparison group, complaints about pain in the temporomandibular joint area were 8.4 times less frequent, increased abrasion of antagonist teeth was 3.9 times less frequent, and phonetics disorders were 8.4 times less frequent.The effectiveness of the algorithm developed by us is also confirmed by the fact that the number of aesthetic defects and cases of the need for repeated prosthetic treatment was reduced in comparison with the corresponding frequency of such cases in groups of patients where standard approaches to prosthetics were applied. In particular, aesthetic defects found in the main group of patients were 2.5 times less frequent than in the comparison group, and repeated prosthetics was performed 2.7 times less frequently. Conclusion Application of the developed comprehensive approach to planning of prosthodontic rehabilitation provides for significant reduction in the frequency of complications and aesthetic defects, as well as cases of repeated need for prosthetics.

Subject. The anatomical and functional characteristics of the patient’s dentition. The goal ― the study was aimed at examining the algorithm of complex orthopedic treatment when performing dentoprosthetic rehabilitation of patients with bilateral free-end edentulous spaces. Methodology. In the framework of this research, a rehabilitation system of patients with adentia was improved. Additionally, the algorithm of diagnostic and therapeutic measures, which should include the determination of individual anatomical and physiological characteristics, using condylography and cephalometry methods, was described. Results. The clinical research reviewed the bilateral free-end saddles as a case study. The paper revealed that, during the patient's examination, a myopathic or repositioning splint with its subsequent attaching to the articulator was the best measure to determine the central ratio of the jaws. For patients with bilateral free-end edentulous spaces, it was recommended to use methods for determining the parameters of the occlusal plane applying the rules for finding active and passive dental arches when teeth overlap in the back-to-front sequence. The discrepancy between the sizes of the upper and lower jaws was recommended to be corrected by performing reverse teeth overlap, in which the support tubercles were transferred to the buccal tubercles of the maxillar molars, and the laterotrusional movement was transferred to the lingual tubercle of the first molar of the lower jaw. Conclusions. When treating patients with bilateral free-end edentulous spaces, it is necessary to use methods for determining the occlusal plane based on the rules for finding active and passive dental arches in the process of teeth overlap in the back-to-front sequence. The reasons for the development of reverse overlap should be explored to examine the structural and functional compensation mechanisms that contribute to the development of this disease.

Subject ― is adentia and dysfunction of the temporomandibular joint. Goal ― based on the quality of life indicators, to evaluate the efficiency of various approaches to dental orthopedic treatment of patients with adentia and temporomandibular disorder, who need a full mouth reconstruction. Methodology. A total pf 647 patients with adentia and a need for full mouth reconstruction were assigned to a comprehensive examination and treatment. Patients were divided into 3 groups. Group 1 (n = 218) was exposed to standard treatment procedures. Group 2 (n = 195) was given certain elements of the interdisciplinary approach to dental orthopedic rehabilitation. Group 3 (n = 234) was exposed to interdisciplinary approach towards dental orthopedic rehabilitation. The follow-up period was 7 years. A key step in the treatment of group 3 patients was to conduct full patient examinations sequentially. The corresponding procedures were supplemented with a temporomandibular disorder test. In treatment planning, the cause-and-effect relationships between this disorder and malocclusion were identified. Results. The improvement in temporomandibular joint after the interdisciplinary approach manifested in changes that were statistically significant (relative to those in the comparison groups). Pain sensations in the joint decreased as reported on the VAS score. The OHIP-14 subscale scores showed a downward trend that was more pronounced as compared with the standard procedure group, which indicates an improvement in the quality of life of patients. Conclusion. The use of interdisciplinary approach in dental orthopedic rehabilitation contributes to a prominent and persistent improvement in the dental quality of life of patients with adentia, who need a full mouth reconstruction.

Subject ― is a temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Goal ― to evaluate clinical effectiveness of an interdisciplinary approach towards dental orthopedic treatment of patients with obstructive sleep apnea and a need for a full mouth reconstruction. Methodology. A total of 95 patients (52 males and 43 females) with adentia, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome and temporomandibular disorder were assigned to comprehensive examination and treatment. All patients were in need for a full mouth reconstruction. Patients were divided into 3 groups. Group 1 (n = 32) was exposed to standard treatment procedures. Group 2 (n = 29) received certain elements of an interdisciplinary approach to dental orthopedic rehabilitation. Group 3 (n = 34) was exposed to multidisciplinary approach towards dental orthopedic rehabilitation. The follow-up period was 7 years. A key step in the treatment of group 3 patients was to conduct full patient examinations sequentially. The corresponding procedures were supplemented with a study of OSA manifestation patterns. Results. It was found that the use of the present proposal contributes to the normalization of the OSA picture in patients with temporomandibular disorder. For instance, the apnea-hypopnea index dropped, the basal nocturnal saturation increased, and the minimum saturation level decreased. Overall, the proportion of patients with better to favorable sleep increased. The revealed changes were persistent, and a positive effect was observed throughout the 5―7 years of follow-up. Conclusion. Performing restoration of the anatomical shape of the tooth with the interdisciplinary approach, the dentist should assess and relieve the manifestations of OSA while correcting the temporomandibular joint disturbances.

The subject ― is the total restoration of the dentition. The goal ― the study was aimed at evaluating clinical effectiveness of orthopedic dental treatment for patients requiring full-mouth rehabilitation on the basis of the functional state of the muscles in the maxillofacial area. Methodology. Within the research, a thorough examination and treatment of 647 patients with adentia requiring full-mouth rehabilitation were performed. Patients were distributed to three groups. The treatment of the first group (218 people) included standard orthopedic dentistry techniques. During the provision of medical care to the second group (195 people), several elements of an interdisciplinary approach to orthopedic dental rehabilitation were applied. In the third group (234 patients), only the multidisciplinary approach to orthopedic dental rehabilitation was proposed. The patient monitoring process was carried out for seven years. Results. It was discovered that the application of the integrated multidisciplinary approach contributes to the reduction of pain during palpation of the postural muscles and muscles of the maxillofacial area already in a year after the start of treatment. It was also remarked that the improvement of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) condition during the implementation of the interdisciplinary approach manifested in significant improvement of several indicators. In particular, among patients lessening of pain in the joint area, better results of radiological diagnostics, condylography, electromyography, and retrusive stability were noted. Conclusions. As part of a set of measures to orthopedic dental rehabilitation of patients with adentia, it is necessary to assess the condition of the muscles in the maxillofacial area and the severity of TMJ dysfunction. The most important stage in the implementation of the proposed approach is a complete and consistent screening of patients requiring a full-mouth rehabilitation, with the addition of a clinical examination through radiation diagnostics, condylography, and electromyography.

Objective The aim of this study is to improve the safety and efficiency of prosthodontic treatment of patients with dental defects. It is necessary to perform a comprehensive assessment of the dentofacial system disorders, including the analysis of the features of pain manifestations. This study also supports to improve the efficiency of prosthodontic rehabilitation of patients with complete dental reconstruction on the basis of an assessment of the severity of orofacial pain manifestations.Materials and Methods The study was a single-site prospective open nonrandomized study with the examination and treatment of 452 patients (age = 44.3 ± 15.2 years, including 282 men and 170 women) with partial or total edentulism. The patients were divided into two groups: group 1 (control) of 218 patients treated with a standard prosthodontic approach and group 2 (study) of 234 patients treated which the proposed interdisciplinary approach to prosthodontic rehabilitation.Results The study establishes higher safety and clinical efficiency of the proposed interdisciplinary approach. The patients undergoing full-mouth reconstruction with the use of the interdisciplinary approach demonstrated statistically significant decrease in the rate of pain in muscles of the maxillofacial area on palpation, pain, and spasms in the neck area, statistically significantly less frequent pains in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) during chewing, pain during opening and closing the mouth.Conclusion The application of the developed comprehensive approach to prosthodontic rehabilitation planning makes it possible to improve essentially the results of treatment at the expense of reduction of pain manifestations in the area of maxillofacial muscles and pain sensations associated with functioning of the TMJ.

The development of scientific approaches to assessing and diagnosing the financial risks of oil industry in the Russian Federation becomes a high priority task in conditions of high level of volatility in oil prices in the world energy market and preservation of sanctions regime. The article shows the main threats to financial stability of oil companies in Russia. Using cluster analysis, a system of indicators is proposed that determines the level of financial risk of oil companies in Russia. Based on the method of expert assessments and fuzzy sets, the classification of financial risk levels of oil industry is proposed. The integrated financial risk level of oil industry was calculated and scenarios of its development for 2018–2020 were forecast by means of regression modeling. The system of measures to improve the stability of oil companies and prevent functional financial risks is argued. A novel highly efficient and stable for many cycles catalyst (1% Со-ZSM-5(17)) for water oxidation was developed using the method of polycondensation for stabilization of oxo/hydroxo complexes of cobalt (II, III) and nanosize Co3O4 in zeolite channels. In a weak-alkaline medium (pH 8.0, 9.2, 10.0) in the presence of a one-electron oxidant (Ru(bpy)33+), the catalyst provided the yield of oxygen as high as 56, 73 и 78% of the stoichiometric quantity, respectively. Catalysts based on ZSM-5 zeolite exhibited higher catalytic activity as compared to the catalysts based on the MOR, BEA, Y. Inspection of the electron states of cobalt in the Co-containing zeolite-based catalysts using TPR-H2 and UV–Vis DR techniques revealed that α-Co(OH)2-like polynuclear clusters and hydrocomplexes stabilized in the zeolite channels were most active to catalytic oxidation of water, while their transformation to Co3O4-like clusters/nanoparticles and Co2+ oxocomplexes, respectively, during thermal treatment led to some decrease in the catalyst efficiency. Coarsening of Co3O4-like clusters/nanoparticles caused the further decrease in the system efficiency. The minimal activity was observed with the catalysts containing predominantly isolated Co2 +Oh ions. The result obtained indicates a kind of at least polynuclear structure of the catalytically active center ConOx, where n > 2.

The article is devoted to the study of the problems of reducing the quality of root crops during post-harvest storage in heaps under the influence of harmful microflora. An increase in the productivity of processing enterprises is achieved in two ways: by regulating the microclimate in the formed dumps at the enterprises for processing raw materials; by regulating the delivery of raw materials from the fields for the formation of piles to the territory of enterprises. The subject of research is the process of storing sugar beets at processing plants. The reasons for the loss of beet mass are analyzed. The article describes the use of typical information technologies for solving applied problems of the food industry. As an example of the use of specialized tools and standard means of computer mathematics, the problem of approximating the dependence of temperature in a clump on the growth of colonies of pathogens of clump rot of sugar beet is considered. The initial data was taken from open sources. An example of constructing a mathematical model of the development of pathogens depending on temperature is given. A generalized algorithm for using the nonlinear regression method is presented. To check the quality of the regression model, we used the approximation accuracy coefficient. Various degrees of polynomial approximation are considered. The described technology can be used as a basis for approximating the dependence of the reproduction of pathogens and climatic parameters inside the clamps. This method can be generalized to calculate the intensity of development of other strains of microorganisms.

Colloidal catalysts for oxidation of water to dioxygen, which are stable on storage and under the reaction conditions, are synthesized based on CoIII , MnIII , FeIII and CuII hydroxides. Stabilization of the colloids with dextrated starch allows the process of hydroxide ageing to be stopped at the stage of the formation of primary nuclei (ca. 2-3 nm from transmission electron microscopy data). Molecular mechanics and dynamic light scattering studies indicate a core-shell type structure of the catalysts, where the hydroxide core is stabilized by the molecular starch network (ca. 5-7 nm). The colloidal catalysts are highly efficient in oxidizing water with one electron oxidant Ru(bpy)3 3+ at pH 7 to 10. The influence of pH, catalyst concentration, and buffer nature on the oxygen yield is studied. The maximal yields are 72, 53, and 78 % over Fe-, Mn- and Co-containing catalysts, respectively, and turnover numbers are 7.8; 54 and 360, respectively. The Cu-containing catalyst is poorly effective to the water oxidation (the maximal yield is 28 % O2 ). The synthesized catalysts are of interest for stopped-flow kinetic studies of the mechanism of the water oxidation and as precursors for anchoring nanosized hydroxides onto various supports in order to develop biomimetic systems for artificial photosynthesis.

Purpose: To compare the aspect of the reproduction accuracy in studied methods of determination of the (CR) of jaws using the digital research methods. The methods used were bilateral manipulation by P.E. Dawson, frontal deprogrammer, leaf gauge, and intraoral device for recording of Gothic arch angle. Methods: To determine the reproduction accuracy of the centric relation of jaws, we examined 5 patients with intact dentition in a prosthetic dentistry clinic (first class in Angle&rsquo, s system). For each method, 20 registrations of the centric jaw relation were carried out by one operator. The breaks between definitions were 30 minutes. A total of 400 CR recording operations were carried out (400 records of CR). In order to study the reproducibility of CR determination methods, 200 recorded mandible positions were analyzed by means of an analog-to-digital method (a macro kit Canon 650D, Canon 60 mm macro IS USM f2.8, Canon macro ring MR-14 EX and the computer program Adobe Photoshop) to assess the first occlusal contact obtained in the CR of jaws, while the other 200 were analyzed by means of a digital method (the computer program Avantis for 3D modeling, Prime as a laboratory 3D scanner (DOF), and Trios as an intraoral scanner (3Shape)) to assess the spatial position of the mandible in the CR. Statistical analysis was carried out using STATISTICA-10. In all statistical analysis procedures, the critical significance level p was assumed to be 0.05. Results: In the study of the data by means of the computer program Avanti 3D, the reproducibility of the mandible position in the CR reached 0.119 &plusmn, 0.012 mm for frontal deprogrammer, 0.225 &plusmn, 0.028, p &le, 0.05 for bilateral manipulation by Dawson P.E., 0.207 &plusmn, 0.02, p &le, 0.05 for leaf gauge, and 0.120 &plusmn, 0,013, p &le, 0.05 using an intraoral device for recording the Gothic arch angle. The analog-to-digital method showed an identical tendency for reproduction of the mandible position. Conclusions: The digital analysis we made using the Avantis 3D program showed, with high confidence, that the maximum reproducibility of the CR position was reached by using our own design frontal deprogrammer and the device for recording Gothic arch angle.

In practice problems of creation of an optimum subgraph of a certain look in a given graph count often meet. As possible annexes problems of search of optimum structure of technological networks, design of architecture of computers, modeling of artificial intelligence and many others are used. More and more relevant are multicriteria options of the specified tasks. An essential limiting factor of improvement of methods of multicriteria optimization on graphs is the problem of their exponential computing complexity caused by big dimension of a task. A number of data demonstrates that the theoretical assessment of complexity constructed for methods of full search isn't true, and the drawn conclusions have no sufficient justification. Among effective decisions the so-called complete set of alternatives which power can be lower on orders, than the power of the Pareto set is of the greatest interest. Taking into account the listed facts in this work the result of researches consisting in creation of assessment from above for the power of a complete set of alternatives of a problem of stay is stated pareto-optimal subgraphs for a given graph.

An upward trend in conventional energy consumption and the exhaustibility of its resources, volatility of the prices for hydrocarbons in the global energy market update the development of scientific approaches to justification of the commercial efficiency of alternative energy in the Russian Federation. Integrated economic performance and environmental safety coefficients for generating companies in Russia were calculated through taxonomic analysis. Trends in the expenditure level for energy production in the context of alternative and conventional energy resources were forecasted by means of neural modeling technologies. Using an integrated assessment method, global priorities for the use of energy resources in Russia that would enhance the national energy system operation efficiency were identified. A forecasting integrated model of the Russian energy system development was elaborated, taking into account the commercial efficiency of alternative energy. Measures to stimulate energy production based on the use of alternative energy sources were proposed.
