Bilimsel ve teknik alanda ilerleyebilmek, dünyada söz sahibi olabilmenin temel koşuludur. Bu da bireylerin yetiştirilmesiyle, kaliteli ve etkin bir eğitimle söz konusu olabilir. Avrupa Birliğine üye olma çabaları içerisindeki ülkemizde, eğitime olan talebin artışıyla birlikte devletin bu talebi karşılamakta fiziki ve ekonomik olarak yetersiz kalması büyük bir sorun olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Eğitim alanındaki bu boşluğu doldurmak amacıyla özel sektörün eğitim alanındaki yatırımları da giderek artmaktadır. Devlet okullarından farklı olarak, işletme statüsüne sahip olan özel okullar, sosyal yapının gereksinimlerine göre örgütlenerek, bilgiyi üretip pazarlayabilen örgütlerdir. Devlet okullarında sunulan eğitim hizmetlerinin kalitesinden yeterince tatmin olmayan öğrenciler ve velileri de özel okullara yönelmektedirler. Buna paralel olarak ülkemizde özel okullar arasındaki rekabet giderek artmaktadır. Sonuç olarak; özel okulların, kaliteli bir eğitim hizmeti verebilmek ve oluşan rekabet ortamında başarılı olabilmek için pazarlama stratejilerini en iyi biçimde uygulamaları gerekmektedir.Araştırmanın amacı; özel okulların eğitim hizmetlerinin pazarlanması ile ilgili faaliyetleri uygulayabilme seviyelerini öğretmenler, öğrenciler ve velilerin görüşlerinden yararlanarak ortaya koymak ve bu sonuçlardan hareketle önerilerde bulunmaktır.Literatür taraması sonucunda toplanan bilgiler doğrultusunda anketler hazırlanmıştır. Anketler; pazarlama karması bileşenleri olan ürün (hizmet) geliştirme, dağıtım (hizmet sunumu), fiyatlandırma, tutundurma faaliyetleri ile ilgili sorulardan oluşmaktadır. Son bölümde ise, ankete katılanların demografik özellikleri ile ilgili sorular yer almaktadır. Üç farklı tipte anket hazırlanmıştır. Anketler; Özel Altınyıldız Koleji ve Özel Kardelen Kolejinde 2009-2010 eğitim-öğretim yılında eğitim veren öğretmenler ile eğitim alan lise öğrencileri ve lise öğrencilerinin velileri üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Öğretmenlere 105, öğrencilere 543, velilere 543 anket dağıtılmış, öğretmenlerden 52, öğrencilerden 262, velilerden 137 tanesi geri dönmüş, geri dönen anketlerin tamamı analize uygun görülmüştür.Araştırma sonucunda; özel okulların, sundukları eğitim hizmetlerinin pazarlanması faaliyetlerini uygulama seviyeleriyle ilgili olarak öğrencilerin, velilere göre daha olumlu düşünceler içerisinde, öğretmenlerin ise hem öğrenci hem de velilere göre daha olumlu düşünceler içerisinde olduğu, her üç grubun ortak algılamalarının ise olumlu olduğu belirlenmiştir.Araştırma sonuçlarına göre özel okulların; yabancı dil ve bilgisayar eğitimi ile yemek hizmetleri, internet ve kütüphane hizmetleri konularında müşteri memnuniyetini arttırıcı tedbirler almaları gerektiği söylenebilir. Ayrıca, okullarında ilave destekler (dershane, özel ders gibi) almayı gerektirmeyecek şekilde bir eğitim hizmeti verilebilmek için çabalarını arttırmaları gerektiği yönünde önerilerde bulunulabilir. To advance scientific and technical fields in the world have a say in the crucial condition. That can be possible to educate the individuals and to supply them a qualified and efficient education. In an effort to be a member of the European Union in our country, with an increasing demand for education the state to meet this demand has big problems in both fields of economy and physical adequacy. In order to fill this gap in education, the private sector also has been increasing investment in education. Unlike public schools, private schools, which are able to produce and market knowledge and have the status of business, are organizations which are organized according to the needs of social structures. Students and parents who are not satisfied with the quality of education offered in public schools are choosing the private schools. In parallel, the competition among private schools in our country has been increasing day by day. As a result, private schools, to provide a qualified education service and to be successful in the competitive environment have to practice the marketing strategies in the best way.The purpose of the research is to inform the level of applicability related to private schools educational services and marketing activities with the help of students, teachers and parents view and taking advantage of the recommendations stemming from these results.As a result of literature search, the surveys have been prepared in accordance with information collected. Surveys consist of the question related to marketing mix components, the product (service) development, place (service delivery), pricing, promotion consists of activities. In the last section, questions about demographic characteristics of the participants in the survey take place. Three questionnaires were prepared. The questionnaires were applied to students, their parents and their teachers in Özel Altınyıldız College and Özel Kardelen College in the year of 2009-2010. 105 questioniers to teachers, 543 questioniers to students and 543 questioniers to parents are given, then 52 of them by teachers, 262 of them by students and 132 of them by parents are received back. All of the questioniers which are received back are classified as appropriate for analysis.In the result of research, the students have more positive thoughts according to parents about the level of the performing of marketing of education services, and the teachers have also more positive thoughts according to both students and parents and lastly all of them have positive thoughts about the issue.According to the results of the research, to take measures in customer satisfaction-enhancing in the fields of foreign language and computer training and food services, internet and library services as well as to increase their efforts to provide an education service without the need for an extra education service for central exams may be recommended. 123
