Einleitung: Bei Patient*innen mit einem moderaten bis schweren Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) ist die Positionierung in Bauchlage eine adjuvante Therapieform, die auf der Intensivstation Anwendung findet. Ziele dieser Arbeit sind die Identifikation von positiven Effekten und Komplikationen. Außerdem soll analysiert werden, welche Beiträge die Pflege leisten kann, um Risiken zu vermeiden. Methodik: Zwölf Studien, die bei invasiv beatmeten erwachsenen Intensivpatient*innen mit ARDS positive Effekte, Komplikationen und pflegerische Maßnahmen in Zusammenhang mit der Bauchlage analysiert haben, werden aus den Datenbanken PubMed, CINAHL und u:search ausgewählt. Die Ergebnisse werden miteinander verglichen und zusammengefasst. Ergebnisse: Die Analyse dieser zwölf Studien ergibt, dass es zu einer deutlichen Verbesserung der Oxygenierung und Reduktion der Mortalität kommt, wenn die Patient*innen im Durchschnitt 16 Stunden in der Bauchlage positioniert werden. Eine Reihe von Komplikationen werden beobachtet, wobei die Ulzera und Ödeme im Gesicht am häufigsten genannt werden. Hierbei wird jedoch der Schweregrad mit Grad I und II als gering eingestuft. Bei der Durchführung eines Bauchlagemanövers und der Betreuung während eines Bauchlagezyklus ist die Pflege mitverantwortlich und spielt in der Prävention von unerwünschten Ereignissen eine wesentliche Rolle. Schlussfolgerung: Gut ausgebildete Pflegepersonen können durch präventive Maßnahmen zur Reduktion von Komplikationen beitragen und damit ein bestmögliches Outcome für betroffene Patient*innen erzielen. Introduction: In patients with moderate to severe Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), prone positioning is an adjuvant therapy used in the ICU. The objectives of this work are to identify positive effects and complications. Furthermore, it will be analyzed which contributions nursing can make to avoid risks. Methodology: Twelve studies that analyzed positive effects, complications, and nursing interventions associated with prone positioning in invasively ventilated adult ICU patients with ARDS are selected from the PubMed, CINAHL, and u:search databases. The results will be compared and summarized. Results: The analysis of these twelve studies shows that there is a significant improvement in oxygenation and reduction in mortality when patients are positioned in the prone position for an average of 16 hours. A number of complications are observed, with facial ulcers and edema being the most commonly cited. However, here the severity is considered low with grade I and II. When performing a prone maneuver and providing care during a prone cycle, nursing care shares responsibility and plays an essential role in the prevention of adverse events. Conclusion: Well-trained nurses can contribute to the reduction of complications through preventive measures and thus achieve the best possible outcome for affected patients.

Tijekom dugotrajnog zrenja površinu trajnih tradicionalnih mesnih proizvoda (TMP) uobičajeno obrastaju plijesni. Među njima, toksikotvorne vrste produciraju sekundarne metabolite mikotoksine, koji imaju izrazite štetne posljedice po zdravlje ljudi i životinja. Aflatoksini i okratoksini imaju dokazane karcinogene i mutagene učinke u organizmu, a njihova pojavnost u TMP najčešće je posljedica prekomjernog rasta površinske plijesni. Osim ovim izravnim putem, mikotoksini u TMP mogu biti prisutni i neizravno, putem kontaminirane stočne hrane, čija uporaba na farmskim životinjama rezultira prijenosom (carry-over efektom) u finalne mesne proizvode. Zbog učestalosti kontaminacije važan je razvoj potvrdnih analitičkih metoda za detekciju mikotoksina te primjena metoda za identifikaciju površinskih plijesni. Kako bi se spriječila kontaminacija TMP i mogući štetni učinci po zdravlje potrošača, potrebno je poduzeti sve preventivne radnje i provoditi sustavnu kontrolu ovih kontaminanata. Ovaj rad daje pregled svojstava aflatoksina i okratoksina kao mikotoksina od najvećeg značaja za pojavnost u mesnim proizvodima, plijesni koje ih produciraju te metoda detekcije, prevencije i redukcije kontaminacije TMP., During long-lasting ripening, the surface of dry traditional meat products (TMP) is usually owergrown by moulds. Among them, toxicogenic species produce mycotoxins as secondary metabolites, which have significant adverse effects on human and animal health. Aflatoxins and ochratoxins have proven carcinogenic and mutagenic effects in the body, and their occurrence in TMP is the most common consequence of overexpression of surface moulds. In addition to this direct route, mycotoxins in TMP may also be present indirectly through contaminated animal feed, whose use in farm animals results in carry-over effects in final meat products. Due to the frequency of contamination, development of confirmatory analytical methods for mycotoxin detection and the application of surface moulds identification methods is important. To prevent TMP contamination and possible adverse effects on consumer health, all preventive actions should be taken and systematic control of these contaminants should be undertaken. This paper gives an overview of the properties of aflatoxins and ochratoxins as mycotoxins of the greatest importance for the occurrence of meat products, the moulds which produce tham and the methods of detection, prevention and reduction of TMP contamination., Während einer langen Reifung wird die Oberfläche traditioneller Dauerfleischprodukte (TMP) normalerweise durch Schimmelpilze befallen. Unter ihnen produzieren toxikogenetische Spezies Mykotoxine als Sekundärmetabolite, die sich sehr nachteilig auf die Gesundheit von Mensch und Tier auswirken. Aflatoxine und Ochratoxine haben im Körper nachweislich karzinogene und mutagene Wirkungen; ihr Auftreten in Dauerfleischprodukten ergibt sich am häufigsten aus einem übermäßigen Wachstum von Schimmelpilzen. Neben diesem direkten Weg können Mykotoxine in Dauerfleischprodukten auch indirekt durch kontaminierte Futtermittel vorhanden sein, deren Verwendung bei Nutztieren zu Verschleppungseffekten in Fleischerzeugnissen führt. Aufgrund der Häufigkeit der Kontamination sind die Entwicklung von Analyseverfahren zum Nachweis von Mykotoxinen und die Anwendung von Methoden zur Identifizierung von Oberflächenschimmel von großer Bedeutung. Um eine Fleischkontamination und mögliche nachteilige Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit der Verbraucher zu verhindern, sollten alle vorbeugenden Maßnahmen ergriffen und eine systematische Kontrolle dieser Kontaminanten vorgenommen werden. Diese Arbeit gibt einen Überblick über die Eigenschaften von Aflatoxinen und Ochratoxinen, die als Mykotoxine von größter Bedeutung für das Auftreten in Fleischprodukten sind, die Schimmelpilze, die diese produzieren, sowie die Methoden zum Nachweis, zur Verhinderung und Verringerung der Kontamination von Dauerfleischprodukten., Nel corso del lungo processo di stagionatura, la superficie dei tradizionali prodotti secchi a base di carne (TPC) viene solitamente ricoperta di muffa. Tra esse, le specie tassicogene producono metaboliti secondari delle micotossine che hanno conseguenze estremamente nocive per la salute dell’uomo e degli animali. Le aflatossine e le ocratossine hanno comprovati effetti cancerogeni e mutageni nell’organismo, e la loro presenza nei TPC è il più delle volte conseguenza dell’eccessiva crescita delle muffe superficiali. Oltre che direttamente, le micotossine possono essere presenti nei TPC anche indirettamente, mediante il mangime contaminato assunto degli animali, il cui impiego in zootecnia comporta la trasmissione (effetto carry-over) nei prodotti finali a base di carne. A causa della frequenza delle contaminazioni, è importante lo sviluppo dei metodi analitici di conferma per la rilevazione delle micotossine e l’applicazione del metodo per l’identificazione delle muffe superficiali. Per prevenire la contaminazione dei TPC e i possibili effetti nocivi per la salute del consumatore, è necessario adottate tutte le misure preventive e eseguire un controllo sistematico di questi agenti contaminanti. Questo studio dà un quadro delle proprietà delle aflatossine e delle ocratossine quali micotossine di maggior rilievo per la loro presenza nei prodotti a base di carne, delle muffe che le producono e dei metodi di rilevazione, prevenzione e riduzione della contaminazione dei TPC., Durante la larga maduración, la superficie de los productos cárnicos tradicionales crudo-curados (PCT) normalmente está cubierto de molde. Además de esta manera directa, las micotoxinas pueden aparecer en PCT indirectamente a través del pienso contaminado usado para los animales de granja y a través del efecto residual (carry-over effect) en los productos cárnicos finales. Debido a la frecuencia de la contaminación es importante desarrollar los métodos analíticos confirmatorios para la detección de las micotoxinas, y la aplicación de los métodos de identificación de los moldes en la superficie. Para evitar la contaminación de los PCT y posibles efectos nocivos sobre la salud de los consumidores, es necesario tomar medidas de prevención y llevar a cabo un control sistemático de estos contaminantes. Este trabajo da un resumen de las propiedades de las aflatoxinas y ocratoxinas como tipos de micotoxinas de mayor importancia para la manifestación en los productos cárnicos, de los moldes que les producen y de los métodos de detección, de prevención y de reducción de la contaminación de los PCT.

Die neuere Geschichte des Vorratsschutzes dient für einen Ausblick auf die nahe Zukunft dieses angewandten Forschungsgebietes mit seinen wichtigen Organismen. Anders als üblich werden die Aussichten aus der Sicht der Vorratsschädlinge, insbesondere der vorratsschädlichen Insekten beschrieben. Vom Menschen über Jahrzehnte in großem Umfang eingesetzte synthetische Kontaktinsektizide haben beispielsweise ihre Bedeutung durch Resistenzbildung der Schadtiere und Bedenken gegen den Einsatz der Chemikalien aus gesundheitlichen Gründen und Erwägungen zum Schutz der Umwelt stark eingebüßt. In groben Zügen werden physikalische und chemische Methoden beschrieben, die zum Teil sowohl für eine Prävention von Schäden und Befall als auch für die Bekämpfung der Schadorganismen geeignet sind. Besonderes Gewicht liegt auf der Beschreibung der biologischen Bekämpfung. Die Schadtiere sind allerdings durch ihre Millionen Jahre andauernde Evolu­tion zum Teil bestens auf die bis heute nicht abschließend erfolgreichen Abwehr- und Bekämpfungsversuche des Menschen vorbereitet. Das Themenfeld Vorratsschutz wird mit der Erwähnung gesetzlicher Regelungen abgerundet sowie mit wichtigen Zitaten wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten, viele aus dem früheren Berliner Vorratsschutzinstitut. Der Autor sieht sich aber resümierend gezwungen, den Vorratsschädlingen mit Respekt eine nicht immer leichte aber doch sichere Zukunft einzuräumen. Suvremena istraživanja pokazuju sve veću prevalenciju nasilničkoga ponašanja među učenicima osnovnih škola. Nasilništvo je oblik agresivnog ponašanja koje spada u kategoriju rizičnih poremećaja djece i mladih. Rad se bavi analizom klasifikacija poremećaja u ponašanju, razvojnim značajkama osnovnoškolaca te modelima prevencije. Problematizira se agresivnost kao oblik antisocijalnoga ponašanja, uz rezultate istraživanja provedenoga na uzorku od 105 učenika petih i sedmih razreda osnovnih škola. Kada je riječ o tjelesnom nasilju, udaranju i guranju drugih osoba, ti su oblici nasilništva češće zastupljeni kod mlađih učenika. No uvažavajući u cijelosti ispitivane varijable – učestalost svađanja, učestalost ogovaranja i širenja laži o drugima, izrugivanje i ismijavanje drugih te isključivanje drugih iz društva, vidljiva je veća prevalencija kod učenika sedmih razreda. Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju kako su stariji osnovnoškolci skloniji socijalno složenijim oblicima nasilja, poput verbalnog i odnosnog vršnjačkog nasilja, Contemporary studies among primary school pupils report increasingly frequent prevalence of violent behaviours, which many behaviour disorders authors see as a form of aggressive behaviour. The primary objective of this paper is the behavioural phenomenon of bullying. This paper provides an insight into the theory of behavioural disorders and their categories, developmental features and models of primary prevention. The paper also examines aggression as a form of antisocial behavior and, apart from the theoretical framework on this issue, provides results of a survey conducted among fifth- and seventh-grade primary school students in Osijek. In addition to the theoretical and empirical research, the paper offers recommendations for further research and a designed plan for future prevention models, because the results show that physical violence is more prevalent among younger, and verbal and relational violence among older primary school pupils., Die jüngsten Studien weisen auf eine zunehmende Prävalenz von gewalttätigem Verhalten unter Grundschülern. Die Gewaltätigkeit ist eine Form von aggressivem Verhalten, das in die Kategorie des Risikoverhaltens unter Kindern und Jugendlichen fällt. Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit der Analyse der Klassifikation von Verhaltensstörungen und entwicklungsbedingten Merkmalen der Grundschüler und den Präventionsmodellen. Die Aggression wird als eine Form des antisozialen Verhaltens mit Hilfe von Ergebnissen der Studie problematisiert, die durch eine Stichprobe von 105 Schülern der fünften und siebten Klasse der Grundschule durchgeführt wurde. Wenn von der physischen Gewalt, vom Schlagen und Schieben anderer Personen die Rede ist, sind diese Formen von Gewalt häufiger bei jüngeren Schülern anzutreffen. Aber unter Berücksichtigung der Gesamtheit der getesteten Variablen – die Häufigkeit von Streitigkeiten, vom Klatsch und der Verbreitung von Lügen über andere, der Hohn und Spott über andere und der Ausschluss anderer aus der Gruppe – ist eine höhere Prävalenz bei den Schülern der siebten Klassen sichtbar. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass ältere Grundschüler eine höhere Neigung gegenüber sozial komplexen Formen von Gewalt zeigen, wie z.B. verbalen Gewalt und Bullying.

Rak dojk je bolezen, ki ne prizadene ženske le telesno, temveč tudi pusti pri ženski posledice na čustvenem, duševnem in socialnem področju. V Sloveniji in v razvitem svetu je rak dojk pri ženskah na prvem mestu. Ker je tudi v prihodnosti pričakovati, da se bo breme raka dojk pri ženskah še povečevalo, je potrebno veliko pozornost usmeriti k osveščanju žensk o tej bolezni. Ženska sama lahko največ vpliva na izid bolezni s poznavanjem dejavnikov tveganja, ki se jim lahko izogne, sumljivih znamenj ter pomenom rednega samopregledovanja dojk. Le tako lahko pripomore k preprečevanju in zgodnjemu odkrivanju te bolezni. V diplomskem delu je opisana bolezen rak dojk. V nadaljevanju v okviru zgodnjega odkrivanja je predstavljeno samopregledovanje dojk in vloga medicinske sestre pri tem, ter druge diagnostične metode za zgodnje odkrivanje raka dojk. Predstavljena je tudi zdravstvena vzgoja in preventivna združenja v boju za preprečevanje raka dojk. Metodologija raziskovanja. Raziskava je temeljila na deskriptivni metodi dela z uporabo anketnega vprašalnika. Raziskavo smo opravili v ginekološkem dispanzerju Zdravstvenega doma Murska Sobota med 80 naključno izbranimi ženskami, ki so na ta dan obiskale izbranega ginekologa. Rezultati. Podatki, ki smo jih pridobili z raziskavo so pokazali, da so ženske v večini mnenja, da so dobro seznanjene o raku dojk, poznajo sumljiva znamenja in dejavnike tveganja, ki lahko vplivajo na nastanek raka dojk. Manj pogosto so sicer kot dejavnik tveganja obkrožile starost in spol, ki sta prav tako pomembna. Zaskrbljujoč podatek pa je, da si redno, vsak mesec pregleduje dojke zelo malo anketiranih žensk. Sklep. Osveščenost žensk o raku dojk je zelo pomembna, saj je za zgodnje odkrivanje raka dojk še vedno najpomembnejše znanje o tej bolezni. Iz raziskave je razvidno, da si velika večina anketiranih žensk želi še več informacij in raznoraznih zdravstvenovzgojnih programov za poučevanje žensk na tem področju. Der Brustkrebs ist eine Krankheit, die das Leben der Frauen körperlich, geistlich-emotional wie auch sozial stark beeinflusst. In der entwickelten Welt ist der Brustkrebs bei der Frau auf dem ersten Platz. Weil zu erwarten ist, dass sich die Anzahl der Erkrankungen noch weiter erhöht, muss man viel Aufmerksamkeit der Aufklärung widmen. Die Frau selbst, kann mit der Meidung der Risikofaktoren, Kennung der Symptome und der Methoden der Selbstabtastung vieles zum Verlauf der Krankheit beitragen. In dieser Diplomarbeit wird die Krankheit der Brustkrebs beschrieben. Im Rahmen der Früherkennung werden die Selbstabtastung selbst und die Rolle der Krankenschwester bei dieser, wie auch andere Methoden zur Früherkennung von Brustkrebs beschrieben. Weiter werden die gesundheitliche Aufklärung und Vorbeugung, wie auch die Brustkrebs Vorbeugungs-Vereinigungen vorgestellt. Methodologie der Forschungsarbeit. Die Forschungsarbeit basiert auf der deskriptiven Auswertung der Umfrage. Diese wurde in dem Gesundheits-Zentrum Zdravstveni dom Murska Sobota bei 80 zufällig ausgewählten Frauen durchgeführt. Ergebnisse. Die Ergebnisse der Umfrage zeigen, dass die meisten Frauen der Meinung sind gut über Brustkrebs aufgeklärt zu sein und dass sie glauben die Symptome zur Früherkennung von Brustkrebs zu kennen. Weiniger häufig gaben die Frauen die wichtigen Risikofaktoren Alter und Geschlecht an. Alarmierend sind aber Daten die zeigen, dass nur sehr wenige Frauen regelmäßige monatliche Selbstabtastungen an der Brust durchführen. Schlussfolgerung. Die Aufklärung der Frauen über dem Brustkrebs ist wichtig, weil das Wissen über die Krankheit die Früherkennung ermöglicht. Aus der Forschungsarbeit ist ersichtlich, dass sich die Mehrheit der Frauen noch mehr Informationen und noch mehr Gesundheits-Vorsorgende Programme wünschen.

Background Despite many activities to prevent risky alcohol consumption among adolescents and young adults there is an increase of alcohol intoxications in the group of ten to twenty year old juveniles. Objectives This report gives an overview about the recent literature as well as the German federal prevention system regarding activities concerning behavioral and policy prevention of risky alcohol consumption among children, adolescents and young adults. Furthermore, effective components of prevention activities are identified and the efficiency and efficacy of ongoing prevention programs is evaluated. Methods A systematic literature review is done in 34 databases using Bool’sche combinations of the key words alcohol, prevention, treatment, children, adolescents and young adults. Results 401 studies were found and 59 studies were selected for the health technology assessment (HTA). Most of the studies are done in USA, nine in Germany. A family strengthening program, personalized computer based intervention at schools, colleges and universities, brief motivational interventions and policy elements like increase of prices and taxes proved effective. Discussion Among the 59 studies there are three meta-analyses, 15 reviews, 17 randomized controlled trials (RCT) and 18 cohort studies. Despite the overall high quality of the study design, many of them have methodological weaknesses (missing randomization, missing or too short follow-ups, not clearly defined measurement parameters). The transferability of US-results to the German context is problematic. Only a few prevention activities reach a sustainable reduction of frequency and/or amount of alcohol consumption. Conclusion The HTA-report shows the need to develop specific and target group focused prevention activities for the German situation. Essential for that is the definition of target goals (reduction of consumption, change of behaviour) as well as the definition and empirical validation of risky alcohol consumption. The efficacy of prevention activities should be proven before they are launched. Background The HTA-report (HTA = Health Technology Assessment) deals with the primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus type 2. In 2009 approximately 356,000 people died in Germany due to cardiovascular diseases. According to estimations about 6.3 million people are suffering from diabetes mellitus type 2. The interventions that are subsidized by the public health insurance are mainly focused on sufficient physical activities, healthy nutrition, stress management and the reduction of the consumption of addictive drugs and luxury food. Objectives Which lifestyle-related measures and/or programmes for primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases and of the metabolic syndrome are effective? To what extent will the health status be improved by these offers? To what extent will existing health resources and skills be strengthened by these offers? Are there any differences regarding the effectiveness among the interventions with respect to different settings or subgroups? Which lifestyle-related interventions and/or programmes for primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases and of the metabolic syndrome are sustainable and cost-effective? Which outcome parameters are in the view of the contributors decisive for the evaluation of the effectiveness? In the view of the contributor are there different values between the outcome parameters? In the view of the payers and other actors are there different values between the outcome parameters? Which ethical and juridical factors have to be considered? Which social and/or socio-economic parameters influence the use of the services and effectiveness? Methods A systematic literature research is done in 35 databases. For the period 2005 to 2010, reviews, epidemiological and clinical studies as well as economical evaluations which deal with primary prevention programmes regarding cardiovascular diseases or the metabolic syndrome are included. Results 44 publications meet the inclusion criteria. These studies confirm the effectiveness of the primary prevention programmes. Physical activity programs seem to have a stronger effect than nutrition programmes. Psychological programmes prove as well effectiveness, if they include cognitive behaviour therapy. The identified economical studies indicate that programmes for cardiovascular prevention can be conducted cost-effectively. Interventions that focus on the general population turn out to be particularly cost-effective and sustainable. Discussion There is a wide range of primary preventive effective lifestyle-related interventions with high evidence. The outcomes and results are consistent with the recommendations of the two identified evidence-based guidelines regarding the recommendations on lifestyle and healthy nutrition. Furthermore, the cost-effectiveness of primary prevention services is proven. With regard to the economical studies it is however worth noting that this result is based on very few publications. The transferability has to be critically assessed as the studies mainly originate from the American health system. Conclusion On the whole a comprehensive setting approach with educative, somatic, psychosocial and activity therapeutic components is recommended. The sustainability of a prevention intervention must be ensured from programme to programme. Long-term studies are necessary to make valid statements regarding the sustainable effectiveness: There is an essential deficit in the current practiced evaluation of the use of primary prevention services provided by the health insurance – mainly regarding the comprehensive setting approach – regarding the evidence-based evaluation of the prescribed preventive interventions. With regard to the ethical, social and economical evaluation the research situation is deficient. Članak se bavi promjenama kaznenog zakonodavstva gledano iz aspekta zaštite okoliša. Nakon reforme kaznenog zakonodavstva na snagu su stupili Kazneni zakon i Zakon o kaznenom postupku, pa je bilo interesantno vidjeti koje su novosti tih dvaju zakona u pogledu odredaba vezanih za zaštitu okoliša, a u odnosu na odredbe starih zakona, Osnovnog krivičnog zakona RH i Krivičnog zakona RH te Zakona o krivičnom postupku, posebno uzimajući u obzir da su stari zakoni doneseni prije dvadesetak godina. Analiza je provedena na način da su obuhvaćene kako strukturne (broj kaznenih djela, struktura zakona i slično) tako i materijalne (sadržajne) promjene kaznenog zakonodavstva. Što se strukturnih promjena tiče, najvažnija je promjena što su ekološka kaznena djela stavljena u posebnu glavu tako da je novi zakon pregledniji, a glede sadržajnih promjena najvažnija novost je uvođenje kategorije ugrožavanja okoliša uz otprije postojeću kategoriju zagađivanja okoliša. S obzirom na kaznene sankcije, može se reći da je generalno došlo da smanjenja zapriječenih kazni za ovu kategoriju kaznenih djela. No, treba napomenuti da su kazne smanjene i za niz drugih djela, tako da ekološka kaznena djela u tom pogledu nisu nikakva iznimka. Budući da se progon za ova kaznena djela poduzima po službenoj dužnosti, istaknuto je da će bitnu ulogu kod primjene ovog zakona imati državno odvjetništvo kao državno tijelo nadležno za kazneni progon. Kako je kazneni postupak u biti ipak reakcija kad se neko štetno djelo već dogodilo, ukazalo se na to da se od promjena kaznenog zakona ne može očekivati da budu bitni element ekološke regulacije. Jer, za ekološku regulaciju bitno je preventivno djelovanje, koje se ne može postići samo kaznenopravnom prisilom., The paper deals with alternations within the penal legislation in connection with environmental protection. After the reform of the penal legislation, the new Penal Code and the Criminal Procedure Act came into force, so it has been interesting to see which novelties these regulations brought in respect to particular legal provisions related to environmental protection, and then in connection with the Basic Criminal Law of the Republic of Croatia, the Criminal Law of the Republic of Croatia and the Criminal Procedure Act itself, having in mind that the older acts were legally valid some twenty years ago. Structural (the number of criminal acts, the structure of the legal act and the like) and material (substantial) changes of the penal legislation have been included with the analysis. The most important change is that provisions concerning environmental criminal acts have been put in a separate chapter, so the new legal act has been made more easy to consult with, and as for the content alternations most important novelty is the introduction of the category of environmental endangering, along with the existing category of environmental pollution. State attorney's office will have an essential role in the application of the legal provisions. As the criminal procedure is in essence a reaction to an offence that has happened, we could not expect from the alternations of the criminal law to be the basic element of environmental regulation, because a preventive action is essential for environmental regulation and it could not be achieved only with force of law., Die Arbeit befaßt sich mit den Änderungen in der Strafgesetztgebung hinsichlich des Umweltschutzes. Nach einer Reform der kroatischen Strafgesetzgebung traten das neue Strafgesetz und das Gesetz über das Strafverfahren in Kraft. Deswegen war es interessant zu ermitteln, welche Neuerungen die neuen Gesetze im Bereich des Umweltstrafrechts im Vergleich zu den aufgehobenen Gesetzen dem Grundstrafgesetz, dem Strafgesetz und dem Gesetz über das Strafverfahren aufweisen, besonders unter Berücksichtigung der Tatsache, daß die abgeschafften Gesetze bereits vor zwanzig Jahren verabschiedet wurden. Analysiert wurden sowohl die strukturellen (die Zahl der Straftaten, die Struktur des Gesetzes u.ä.) als auch die materiellen bzw. inhaltlichen Änderungen der Strafgesetzgebung. Die wichtigste strukturelle Änderung besteht darin, daß das Umweltstrafrecht in einem Sonderkapitel behandelt wird, so daß das neue Gesetz im Vergleich zum alten übersichtlicher ist. Die wichtigste Änderung im inhaltlichen Bereich ist die Einführung der Kategorie der Umweltgefährdung neben der schon vorhandenen Kategorie der Umweltverschmutzung. Die entscheidende Rolle bei der Durchführung dieses Gesetzes kommt der Staatsanwaltschaft zu. Da ein Strafverfahren im Grunde genommen die Reaktion auf eine schon begangene Straftat darstellt, kann von den Änderungen des Strafgesetzes keineswegs erwartet werden, ein wesentliches Element der ökologischen Regulation zu sein, da für die ökologische Regulation die vorbeugende Wirkung ausschlaggebend ist, die nicht ausschließlich durch strafrechtlichen Zwang erzielt werden kann.
