Abstract

Forsberg and Leino (2019 J. Phys. G: Nucl Part Phys 46 018001) question the validity of criticism (2017 J. Phys. G: Nucl. Part. Phys. 44 075107) of the method proposed by Forsberg et al (2016 Nucl. Phys. A 953 117). In this reply, we show that this method is based on unclear principles and its implementation leads to the results that contradict the conclusions following from mathematical statistics.

Abstract

Administration of a thrombolytic drug of the type of streptokinase (celiase) in a dose of 250,000-1500,000 units for 40-90 minutes to the site of a thrombus with the use in necessary cases of plasminogen donors makes it possible to attain the recovery of the function of arteriovenous fistula if the treatment is carried out within the first 6-8 hours since the moment of its thrombosis. Fistula rethrombosis is the main problem that confronts one in the immediate period after successful conduction of thrombolytic therapy.

Abstract

The analysis of decay chains starting at superheavy nuclei 293Ts and 289Mc is presented. The spectroscopic properties of nuclei identified during the experiments using the 249Bk+48Ca and 243Am+48Ca reactions studied at the gas-filled separators DGFRS, TASCA and BGS are considered. We present the analysis of decay data using widely adopted statistical methods and applying them to the short decay chains of parent odd-Z nuclei. We find out that the recently suggested method of analyzing decay chains by Forsberg et al may lead to questionable conclusions when applied for the analysis of radioactive decays. Our discussion demonstrates reasonable congruence of α-particle energies and decay times of nuclei assigned to isotopes 289Mc, 285Nh and 281Rg observed in both reactions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
