The rise of social media has facilitated communication between people, but it has also made it simpler to spread false information, which can lead to hate speech. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, all public gatherings were canceled, and people stayed home. Due to the ease with which information may be shared and disseminated and the difficulty in determining the authenticity of user claims, online hate speech is commonplace. The author incorporates legal research methods from qualitative and normative perspectives into this paper. As the results show, social media use has skyrocketed during the COVID-19 pandemic due to government restrictions on activities that can be carried out outside the home. Thus, many people like spending time on social media, and some even deliberately post remarks that amount to hate speech.Keywords: Crime; Hate Speech; Social media Abstrak Maraknya media sosial telah memfasilitasi komunikasi antar manusia, tetapi juga mempermudah penyebaran informasi palsu, yang dapat mengarah pada ujaran kebencian. Pada puncak pandemi COVID-19, semua pertemuan publik dibatalkan, dan orang-orang tetap tinggal di rumah. Karena mudahnya informasi dibagikan dan disebarluaskan serta sulitnya menentukan keaslian klaim yang dibuat oleh pengguna, ujaran kebencian online menjadi hal yang lumrah. Penulis memasukkan metode penelitian hukum baik dari perspektif kualitatif maupun normatif ke dalam makalah ini. Hasilnya, penggunaan media sosial meroket di masa pandemi COVID-19 sebagai akibat dari pembatasan pemerintah terhadap aktivitas yang boleh dilakukan di luar rumah. Sehingga, banyak orang yang suka menghabiskan waktu di media sosial, bahkan ada yang sengaja memposting ucapan yang berbau ujaran kebencian.Kata Kunci: Tindak Pidana; Ujaran Kebencian; Media Sosial

Analisis RUU SISDIKNAS Tahun 2022 ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan beberapa sudut pandang terkait kesesuaian RUU yang direncanakan dengan konteks Pendidikan terkhusus pendidikan IPA pada RUU Sisdiknas Tahun 2022 Bab XIV Tentang Pendidik dan Kependidikan. Kegiatan analisis ini didasarkan pada adanya pro dan kontra terhadap RUU Sisdiknas Tahun 2022 yang telah direncanakan oleh pemerintah dalam hal ini Kemendikbudristek. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar telaah dokumen. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif deskripti dengan menggunakan tahapan reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa isi dalam rancangan ini perlu untuk direvisi agar dihasilkan peraturan perundang-undangan yang lebih efisien dan fleksibel tanpa harus mengurangi substansi dan keberpihakan terhadap pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan.

Pelatihan Kewirausahaan di pesantren pada prinsipnya membangun jiwa santripreneur agar dapat para santri memiliki kemandirian dan life skill. Banyak santri yang telah lulus dari pondok pesantren, meski secara keilmuan relatif berhasil dan diakui di masyarakat, bahkan cenderung ditokohkan di daerahnya masing-masing. Akan tetapi, masih banyak yang mengalami masalah kekurangan ekonomi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengupayakan langkah konkrit, khususnya pemberdayaan potensi kewirausahaan santri pada pondok pesantren Al-Mubarok Kota Serang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan bentuk kegiatannya menggunakan metode partisipatif yang terdiri dari 4 bentuk tahapan kegiatan mulai dari tahap persiapan pelaksanaan kegiatan, tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan, tahap pendampingan dan tahap evaluasi kegiatan. kegiatan ini menyasar santri pada Pondok Pesantren Al-Mubarok Kota Serang. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan luaran berupa terbentuknya kelompok santripreneur yang memiliki skill di bidang IT. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat mengatasi segala permasalahan kewirausahaan pada kelompok santri di Pondok Pesantren Al-Mubarok Kota Serang.

There are many researchers who have been discussing EFL learners’ perceptions on the implementation of online digital technology (ODT), but there are few of them who specifically investigate their familiarity in using technology when applying project-based approach. This research analysis students’ attitudes in using ODT to improve their speaking skills and how familiar students use ODT to accomplish a project in a Speaking Class. Because the approach of learning English in this research is PBL with ODT, the students must be familiar with the technology in order to create some projects assigned. Therefore, they had to own smartphones or laptops, and familiar with very basic ODT before beginning the program. 24 students of Speaking class were selected and trained to pedagogically show their awareness towards the learning approach and the use of ODT. The researcher divided them into some smaller groups to work together to improve their projects by looking at their learning approach with technology. The result of the posttest indicated their positive attitudes towards the implementation of PBL in the Speaking class with digital technology and the increasing familiarity of using ODT. They realized that they needed to create, and evaluate the results of their project by themselves during online learning to improve their speaking skills. In this research, the researcher analysis a movie entitled Speak. This movie tells about a young girl who suffered from traumatic experiences during her adolescence because of being rape victim. As a result, she can’t express herself and can’t communication with others comfortably. The aims of this research are to analyze and to explain the trauma that face by the main character, and her struggle to recover with it. The researcher uses the theory of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, self-expression, and art therapy to analyze this research. This analysis shows that the main character of this movie is in a bad condition that is reflected to her daily activities. She suffers from guilt, shame, depression, losing concentrate and self-confidence. But finally, she can find the way to heal from her trauma through art class and speak the truth to the people.

Efforts to eradicate drug crimes present a law that has criminal sanctions, namely Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics (abbreviated as the Narcotics Law) that criminal sanctions in the Narcotics Law are one of them with a death penalty. The Narcotics Law regulates the policy of criminal sanctions for drug abusers which are divided into two categories, namely the perpetrators as “Users” and/or “Dealers”. It is possible for perpetrators as dealers to be subject to the most severe criminal sanctions in the form of capital punishment as regulated in Article 114 paragraph (2). The method of legal discovery (rechtsvinding) that is often used by judges is the method of interpretation or interpretation. The results of the study state that the interpretation of the provisions that have been stated expressly must not deviate from the intent of the legislators. The judge has the authority to interpret the law if the content of the article used is unclear or incomplete. Analytical interpretation in the field of criminal law is prohibited insofar as it makes a formulation of the offense to be expanded. Undang-Undang Narkotika mengatur mengenai kebijakan sanksi pidana bagi pelaku penyalahguna narkoba yang dibagi kedalam dua kategori yaitu pelaku sebagai “Pengguna” dan/atau “Pengedar”. Terhadap pelaku sebagai pengedar dimungkinkan dikenakan sanksi pidana yang paling berat berupa pidana mati seperti yang diatur dalam Pasal 114 ayat (2). Metode penemuan hukum (rechtsvinding) yang sering digunakan hakim yaitu metode interpretasi atau penafsiran. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Penafsiran terhadap ketentuan yang telah dinyatakan dengan tegas tidaklah boleh menyimpang dari maksud pembentuk Undang-Undang. Hakim mempunyai kewenangan untuk melakukan penafsiran hukum apabila isi pasal yang digunakan tidak jelas atau kurang lengkap. Penafsiran secara analogis di dalam lapangan hukum pidana terlarang sejauh ia membuat suatu rumusan delik itu menjadi diperluas. Penafsiran secara analogi diizinkan apabila digunakan untuk mengisi kekosongan-kekosongan yang terdapat di dalam Undang-Undang karena belum diatur dalam ketentuan Undang-Undang tersebut.Kata Kunci: Disparitas; Hakim; Narkoba

The development era demands the skills of teachers to meet needs and adjust. This means that the teacher's ability to upgrade is needed. The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the up-skilling that must be done by vocational school teachers with world-standard work era 4.0; and (2) knowing the concrete steps that must be taken by vocational schools teachers in re-skilling the world-standard work era 4.0. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The technique of determining participants using purposive sampling. Participants in this study were vocational school teachers, vocational schools service branches, and widyaiswara. Data collection techniques using structured interviews by preparing interview guidelines. Data analysis using Creswell case study data analysis model, namely (1) data management; (2) memoing; (3) exposure; (4) classification; and (5) interpretation. Data analysis in the study was carried out with the assistance of Software Altas. ti version 8. The results of this study are (1) up-skilling of industrial standard vocational school teachers in the era of 4.0 needs to be done with three components, namely (a) develop new skills; (b) time-to-hire; (c) competency assessment. Meanwhile, (2) re-skilling of vocational schools teachers with industrial standard era 4.0 consists of three components, namely (a) intelligent digital tools; (b) create new tasks and occupations; and (c) coaching programs. This implication can be used for widyaiswara in providing training to vocational school teachers.

21-st century skills in education integrate literacy skills, knowledge, skills, and attitudes. One of them is scientific literacy. The scientific literacy ability of the students in Indonesia from 2000 to 2018, according to PISA (2018), is still below average. It is due to the lack of attention of Indonesian education on literacy skills which are actually necessary for everyday life. This research was conducted in 2022. The purpose was to determine the differences in the results of scientific literacy skills between male and female students in grade 2 of junior high school. This study uses the One Group Posttest Only design with technical data analysis using the posttest results that have been carried out by students, then calculated by looking at the average indicators of each question. The results showed that there were differences in the results of students' scientific literacy abilities between boys and girls. The increase in scientific literacy for female students is 82.2 and is in the very good category, and male students is 71.3 and is in the good category. With these differences, it can be concluded that scientific literacy skills using the STEM model for female students increased better than male students. Key words: Science Literacy, STEM, Gender ABSTRAK Keterampilan abad ke 21 dalam bidang pendidikan mengintergrasikan kemampuan literasi, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap. Salah satu keterampilan literasi dalam abad ke 21 yaitu kemampuan literasi sains. Kemampuan literasi sains siswa di Indonesia menurut PISA tahun 2018 sejak tahun 2000 sampai 2018 masih dibawah rata-rata. Hal ini disebabkan kurang perhatiannya dunia pendidikan di Indonesia terhadap kemampuan literasi yang mana penting untuk kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tahun 2022.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil kemampuan literasi sains antara siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan di kelas 8 SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain One Group Postest Only dengan teknis analisis data menggunakan hasil postest yang telah dilakukan oleh siswa yang kemudian dihitung dengan melihat rata-rata perindikator dari setiap soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan hasil kemampuan literasi sains siswa antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Peningkatan literasi sains siswa perempuan sebesar 82,2 dan masuk kedalam kategori sangat baik, dan untuk hasil literasi sains siswa laki-laki sebesar 71,3 dan masuk kedalam kategori baik. Dengan hasil perbedaan tersebut dapat dikatakan kemampuan literasi sains menggunakan model STEM untuk siswa perempuan meningkat lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa laki-laki. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of scientific reasoning ability of high school students in class XI through the Creative Problem Solving Learning model on the respiratory system material. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The sample was not chosen at random but with a specific purpose, namely by using a purposive sampling technique, totaling 35 students. The research instrument used in this study is the question of scientific reasoning ability, a modification of the questions developed by Lawson, namely LCTRS (Lawson Classroom Test Of Scientific Reasoning). The questions used are 10 multiple choice questions with 6 indicators. The results of the study show that gender does not affect a person's scientific reasoning ability. The average score shows the level of scientific reasoning of male students and female students, which has the same percentage, namely 71%, which means that it is included in the good category. The highest score of the level of scientific reasoning in male students is the Correlation Reasoning indicator with a total percentage of 84% female students also the highest score is found in the correlation indicator but the percentage is slightly different, lower than male students, namely 82%. Key words: scientific reasoning, gender, creative problem solving ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa SMA kelas XI melalui model Pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving pada materi sistem pernapasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang dipilih tidak secara acak melainkan dengan tujuan tertentu yaitu dengan Teknik Purposive sampling yang berjumlah 35 orang siswa. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu soal kemampuan penalaran ilmiah modifikasi dari soal yang dikembangkan oleh Lawson yaitu LCTRS (Lawson Classroom Test Of Scientific Reasoning). Soal yang digunakan berjumlah 10 soal pilihan ganda beralasan dengan 6 indikator. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan gender tidak mempengaruhi kemampuan penalaran ilmiah seseorang. Skor rata-rata menunjukan tingkat penalaran ilmiah siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan yaitu memiliki persentase yang sama yaitu 71% yang artinya termasuk kedalam kategori baik. Skor tertinggi tingkat penalaran ilmiah pada siswa laki-laki yaitu pada indikator Penalaran korelasi dengan jumlah persentase 84% siswa perempuan juga skor tertingginya terdapat pada indikator korelasi tetapi jumlah persentase nya sedikit berbeda lebih rendah dari siswa laki-laki yaitu 82%. This study is a quasi-experimental study aimed to determine the relationship between digital literacy skills and cognitive abilities using a blended learning model for class XI SMA Negeri 5 Sukabumi City in the 2021/2022 academic year. The research instrument is based on 4 components of digital literacy, namely 1) Internet Searching, 2) Hypertextual Navigation, 3) Content Evaluation, and 4) Knowledge Assembly. Then for the cognitive ability instrument, it refers to the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy in the form of multiple choice questions, with cognitive levels C1-C6 based on indicators of remembering (C1), understanding/understanding (C2), applying (C3), analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and create (C6). The results showed that there was no relationship between digital literacy and cognitive ability using gender-based blended learning with a peer correlation value of 0.832 for female and 0.768 for male, indicating a positive relationship with a strong correlation category. Key words: digital literacy, cognitive ability, blended learning, gender ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kemampuan literasi digital dan kemampuan kognitif menggunakan model blended learning kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Kota Sukabumi tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Instrumen penelitian disusun berdasarkan 4 komponen literasi digital yaitu 1) Internet Searching, 2) Hypertextual Navigation, 3) Content Evaluation, dan 4) Knowledge Assembly. Kemudian untuk instrumen kemampuan kognitif merujuk pada Taksonomi Bloom Revisi berupa soal pilihan ganda, dengan jenjang kognitif C1-C6 berdasarkan indikator mengingat (C1), memahami/mengerti (C2), menerapkan (C3), menganalisis (C4), mengevaluasi (C5), dan menciptakan (C6). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan antara literasi digital dengan kemampuan kognitif menggunakan blended learning berbasis gender dengan nilai paerson corelation 0,832 untuk jenis kelamin perempuan dan 0,768 untuk laki-laki dengan menunjukan adanya hubungan positif dengan kategori korelasi kuat. This study aims to analyze the entrepreneurial interest and creativity of class X high school students in learning using a project-based learning model oriented towards bio-entrepreneurship. The research method used is a descriptive method using an instrument in the form of a statement questionnaire, and the measurement scale used is a likert scale on 5 answer scales. The statements on the entrepreneurial interest questionnaire were 20 statements and the creativity questionnaire was 13 statements. For the research subjects, class X students of SMA IT Mahmudiyyah were taken, namely 32 students as a sample. The results showed that the percentage of entrepreneurial interest scores of class X students was 79% and creativity was 71% with good criteria. So it can be concluded that using a bio-entrepreneurship-oriented project-based learning model has a good effect on students' interest in entrepreneurship and creativity. Keywords : Project based learning model, bioentrepreneurship, creativity, Miat Entrepreneurship ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minat wirausaha dan kreativitas siswa SMA kelas X dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model project based learning yang berorientasi pada bioentrepreneurship. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif menggunakan instrumen berupa angket pernyataan, dan skala pengukuran yang digunakan adalah skala likert pada 5 skala jawaban. Pernyataan pada angket minat wirausaha sebanyak 20 pernyataan dan angket kreativitas 13 pernyataan. Untuk subjek penelitian diambil siswa kelas X SMA IT Mahmudiyyah yaitu 32 siswa sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase skor minat berwirausaha siswa kelas X adalah 79 % dan kreativitas 71% dengan kriteria baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model project based learning berorientasi bioentrepreneurship berpengaruh baik terhadap minat berwirausaha dan kreativitas siswa. This study aims to determine the science communication skills of high school students are assessed using the Expert-Novice Dialog (END) method with the help of Google Suite. This research was conducted at one of the Sukabumi City Senior High Schools in April the second week of 2021. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The subjects used in this study were students of class X SMA, totaling 60 students consisting of 20 Experts and 40 Novices. Data collection were carried out digitally with the help of Google Suite. The concept of the selected material is a change in environmental balance. The instruments used in this research are science communication skills rubric, observation rubric, novice concept test and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the science communication skills of students in one of the Sukabumi City Senior High Schools were assessed using the Expert-Novice Dialog (END) method assisted by Google Suite an average of 67% which was included in the "Enough" category. Mastery of the novice concept is categorized as "Good" with an average score of 80.25%. Through the response questionnaire, it is known that the END method generally helps students in practicing science communication skills and understanding concepts. abstrak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA yang berjumlah 60 peserta didik terdiri dari 20 Expert dan 40 Novice. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan secara digital berbantuan google suite.Konsep materi yang dipilih adalah perubahan keseimbangan lingkungan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rubrik kemampuan komunikasi sains, rubrik observasi, test konsep novice dan angket respon peserta didik Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi sains pesera didik di salahsatu SMA Negeri Kota Sukabumi yang dinilai dengan metode Expert-Novice Dialog (END) berbantuan google suite rata-rata sebesar 67% termasuk dalam kategori “cukup”. Penguasaan konsep novice dikategorikan “Baik” dengan nilai rata-rata 80,25%. Melalui angket respon diketahui bahwa Metode END pada umumnya membantu peserta didik dalam melatih kemampuan komunikasi sains dan memahami konsep. The objective of this research is to analyze about three important aspects, as the component of the story which are related to each other and also as the element of literature. The writer defines about Daniel Plainview’s character traits that his negative character traits are related to the factor of several conflicts in the story. The story depicts of his ambition, persistence, greed and hatred. Ambition and persistence influenced to his success achievement as the oilman, while his greed and hatred are related to the factor of several conflicts in the story. The second aspect is to identify some people who involved in conflicts with Daniel Plainview in the story and the third aspect is to define moral values reflection from the story as a wisdom and life learning for the writer or for the readers. The writer applies content analysis which is the part of qualitative research. This research found that (1) the negative character traits are related to several conflicts and (2) moral values reflection defined as the generosity that as the opposite of greed which is depicted obviously from the main character.

Problem-solving ability is a competency that must be possessed by students in the 21st century. The purpose of this study was to determine the Profile of Students' Problem Solving Ability which was carried out in one of the high schools in Sukabumi Regency on 18 and 20 May 2022. The research method used was a quantitative descriptive method. The research subjects were high school students in Sukabumi District, class XI totaling 60 students. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The instrument used is in the form of a description of 10 questions using five problem-solving indicators. These results indicate that students' problem-solving abilities still need to be improved, such as applying more effective learning models, media, and learning environments where these play a very important role in improving students' problem-solving abilities. Keywords: Problem-solving ability, quantitative descriptive, Excretion System ABSTRAK Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan kompetensi yang harus dimiliki siswa pada abad ke-21. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Profil Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa yang dilaksanakan di salah satu SMA di Kabupaten Sukabumi pada tanggal 18 dan 20 Mei tahun 2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA di Kabupaten Sukabumi kelas XI berjumlah 60 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah berupa soal uraian sebanyak 10 soal dengan menggunakan lima indikator pemecahan masalah. Dari Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas XI SMA di Kabupaten Sukabumi dalam kategori cukup dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 53,46%. Hasil tersebut menandakan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa masih perlu ditingkatkan kembali,seperti menerapkan model pembelajaran yang lebih efektif, media dan lingkungan belajar dimana hal tersebut sangat berperan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. This study aims to determine the profile of the numeracy literacy ability of class XII students of one of the senior high schools in Sukabumi Regency in learning biology on evolution materials. The type of research used is descriptive with the sampling technique being random sampling. This research was conducted on class XII students at SMAN 1 Sukaraja in the academic year 2021/2022. The instrument used is a matter of numeracy literacy ability which refers to the indicators of Dewayani in the form of 8 multiple choice questions and 4 descriptive questions. The results showed that the content indicator had a percentage of 61% in the sufficient category, the cognitive process indicator had a percentage of 31% in the very poor category, and the context indicator had a percentage of 56% in the sufficient category with an overall average of 49% with less category. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the cognitive process indicators must be improved again with a meaningful learning process in terms of the learning model, media, and assessment provided. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal kemampuan literasi numerasi yang merujuk pada indikator Dewayani dengan bentuk soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 8 soal dan soal uraian sebanyak 4 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada indikator konten memiliki perssentase sebesar 61% dengan kategori cukup, pada indikator proses kognitif memiliki persentase sebesar 31% dengan kategori sangat kurang, serta pada indikator konteks memiliki persentase 56% dengan kategori cukup dengan rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 49% dengan kategori kurang. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada indikator proses kognitif harus ditingkatkan kembali dengan proses pembelajaran yang bermakna dari segi model pembelajaran, media maupun asesmen yang diberikan. The objectives of this study are (1) to train participants in good and correct English communication both grammatically and in correctly choosing the right words and (2) to train fluency in English communication to understand the skills in each component which consists of listening exercises, the use of proper and correct language structures in writing, reading comprehension, and speaking proficiency. The method used is a communicative approach method that trains students to understand the skills in each training component which consists of speaking, writing, reading and listening skills. The results of this activity showed that the training participants experienced positive changes in terms of fluency, understanding, use of language structures and vocabulary.

The objectives of this research are to describe to discover facts about Alan Turing and the impacts of the characters on his life in order to obtain the moral value of the movie. By using qualitative method, the author describes hidden facts about Alan Turing, especially when he was given a secret mission by the British Empire during World War II to decode from Germany’s Enigma message’s machine. In this movies, his personal life and sexual deviation influence his career. In order to keep his mission going, Turing, the professor pretends to be a normal person by trying love his partner, Ms Clark. He doesn’t get any respects and losses his dignity due to his own deviant behaviors. He is sentenced and has to receive hormone therapy to make him normal and continue his mission. His struggles continue although the government ignores his invention and dedication to his country.

The purpose of the research was to analyze the idiomatic translation found in “The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn” By Stephanie Meyer and “Awal Yang Baru” Translated By Monica Dwi Chresnayani. The result of the research is the idiomatic translations method which is found in the novel and analyzed by using the theory of translation from Newmark. Based on the data analysis, the writer found some proofs that the data which were translated used idiomatic translation method. In analyzing translation process, the writer compared with other translation methods. The purpose was that the writer showed the translation method used by the translator was idiomatic translation method. In translation, the translator paid attention to the meaning of source language so that the message in target language can be received by the readers.

STIE INABA merupakan salah satu sekolah tinggi di Bandung yang telah cukup lama berdiri dan sampai saat ini terus meningkatkan pelayanan dan promosi melalui saluran informasi tepat agar capaian tingkat kepuasan bagi mahasiswa berdampak pada citra lembaga tersebut tetap baik di mata Mahasiswa, Alumni dan Masyarakat sehingga mereka akan terus merekomendasikan keluarga, teman dan rekan untuk menempuh pendidikan di STIE INABA. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bauran promosi terhadap tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa, Bauran promosi terhadap citra, tingkat kepuasan terhadap citra dan pengaruh bauran promosi terhadap citra melalui tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa di STIE INABA Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi; metode analisis deskriptif dan verifikatif. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa; dari hasil analisis deskriptif bahwa bauran promosi yang terdiri dari; Periklanan, Penjualan perorangan, Promosi penjualan, Hubungan Masyarakat, Word of Mouth, pemasaran langsung, Publikasi memiliki kriteria tinggi rata-rata (73,09%), tingkat kepuasan memiliki kriteria rendah (40,50%) dan citra STIE INABA memiliki kategori tinggi (73,64%). Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis verifikatif menunjukan bahwa secara simultan pengaruh bauran promosi (X) terhadap tingkat kepuasan Mahasiswa (Y) sebesar 0,045 atau sebesar 4,5% dan secara parsial, pengaruh Periklanan (X1) memberikan kontribusi sebesar 19,1%, pengaruh Word of Mouth memberikan kontribusi sebesar 7,2% dan Pemasaran langsung memberikan kontribusi sebesar 12,4%, sementara variabel lainnya tidak memberikan kontribusi atau hasil negatif. Sedangkan uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa bauran promosi (X) tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kepuasan Mahasiswa (Y) karena hasil Fhitung < dari Ftabel yaitu 0,562 dari Ftabel yaitu 12,729 > 2,121. Tingkat kepuasan Mahasiswa tidak berpengaruh terhadap Citra dengan hasil Fhitung < dari Ftabel 1,089 2,121 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05.

Neutrality is an important capital for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as the government organizer. However, it is not easy to realize the principle called neutrality. There are several factors that make it difficult for ASNs to be neutral. First, the massive amount of ASN. ASN has a good understanding of the government's governance policies, as well as the authority possessed by the country's civil apparatus. Various regulations related to elections both in the handling of violations and the state civil apparatus are indeed well structured, but they should be able to reduce the potential behavior of the community, election participants and election organizers, but the potential for violations in the general election yesterday was large enough so that the authors are interested in researching deeper, based on Indonesia being a state of law both the government and its people must obey and abide by existing laws, but unfortunate law made easily by the public is one of the regulations related to general elections, this paper focuses on the role of the state civil apparatus in organizing general elections and handling election violations in the Indramayu district

This study is an attempt to find out the classification and the semantic meaning of the idiomatic expression found in Gita Wirjawan’s speeches regarding economic growth viewed by Adam Makkai Theory. The source of data was taken from the script of the speech video collection of Gita Wirjawan’s about economic growth. This study falls under the qualitative research by employing the content analysis method. The researcher found 20 idiomatic expressions. There were 15 lexemic idioms and 5 sememic idioms. In the lexemic idiom, 10 phrasal verb idioms, 2 in tournure idioms, 3 in phrasal compound idioms, and 0 in pseudo idioms were found. Meanwhile, in the sememic idioms, 2 proverbial idioms, 1 familiar quotation, 1 institutionalized understatement and 1 institutionalized hyperbole were found.And after the idiomatic expressions were analyzed, it was proved that the idiomatic expression had different meaning than the literal meaning of the word itself

This study aims to describe the scientific reasoning abilities of junior high school students in science learning based on learning styles at SMPN 15 Sukabumi City. The sample in this study was 35 students of class VII SMPN 15 Sukabumi in the academic year 2020/2021. This research uses qualitative methods through a descriptive approach. The research instruments used were questionnaires and scientific reasoning test instruments Lawson Classroom Test of Scientific Reasoning (LCTSR) which consisted of 12 reasoned multiple choice questions containing 6 indicators of scientific reasoning, namely: proportional reasoning, probabilistic, correlational, conservation, variable control, and hypothetical. deductive. The results showed that the learning style most often used by junior high school students was the visual learning style. This is evidenced by the results of questionnaires that have been distributed, as many as 17 students or 48.58% of the 35 students analyzed tended to use visual learning styles compared to auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. Students with this visual learning style have better scientific reasoning abilities. In addition, overall junior high school students do not yet have the ability to compare two variables of a phenomenon based on a constant ratio, which means junior high school students have scientific reasoning skills on low hypothesis-deductive indicators. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa SMP pada pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan gaya belajar di SMPN 15 Kota Sukabumi. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 35 siswa kelas VII SMPN 15 kota sukabumi tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket dan instrumen tes penalaran ilmiah Lawson Classroom Test of Scientific Reasoning (LCTSR) yang terdiri 12 soal pilihan ganda beralasan yang memuat 6 indikator penalaran ilmiah yaitu: penalaran proporsional, probabilistik, korelasional, konservasi, pengontrolan variabel, dan hipotetic-deduktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar yang paling banyak digunakan oleh siswa smp adalah gaya belajar visual. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil angket yang telah disebar, sebanyak 17 siswa atau 48,58% dari 35 siswa yang dianalisis cenderung menggunakan gaya belajar visual dibandingkan gaya belajar auditorial maupun kinestetik. Siswa dengan gaya belajar visual ini memiliki kemampuan penalaran ilmiah yang lebih baik. Selain itu, secara keseluruhan siswa smp belum memiliki kemampuan untuk membandingkan dua varibel suatu fenomena berdasarkan rasio konstan yang artinya siswa smp memiliki kemampuan penalaran ilmiah pada indikator hipotesis-deduktif yang rendah.

This research aims to analyze the main characters in Hide and Seek movie as the characters who have psychopathic problem and Dissociative Identity Disorder. In relation to which, the writer studied Hide and Seek movie as the unit of analysis. Psychopathic problems viewed from Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis concepts are used for the review of related literature theories or concepts of the research. Therefore, the method of the research is descriptive qualitative, which tries to explain about the intrinsic elements of the movie; such as characterization and the scenes of the movie, then followed by analyzing them through Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis. Through observations of the scenes and the behavior of the main characters the writer reveals David and Emily have been identified to have psychopathic characters such as manipulative, parasitical, deceitful, power hungry, less empathy, often lie, shallow affect and poor behavioral control. In addition, the causes of such character are trauma and stress viewed from Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalysis theory

The objective of this research mainly aims to find out the proofs that the translator used communicative translation in Indonesian book version. This paper was directed to answer two basic questions about the strategies that used by the translator to translate in target language and the proofs which shows that in target language the translator used communicative translation method. The writer used the theory of Newmark about communicative translation method that is used to analyze the data. It amplifies that analysis based on the theory by expert will make easier to analysis. This research used qualitative method in which the writer undertakes research through describing the data. The writer found that the translation method that used by the translator is communicative translation method. In translation by the translator pay attention the meaning of source language so that the message in target language can be received by the readers.

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are substantial abilities that students must have as a basis for complex thinking skills. This study aims to determine the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of eighth-grade students on biotechnology material. The research method used is qualitative. The population in this study were students at one of the boarding schools in the Sukabumi district. The research sample consisted of 24 students. The instrument used was multiple-choice test questions with four choice options. The questions used in this study have a reliability of 0.7 (sufficient) and validity of 0.8 (high). The research data showed that the students 'HOTS ability was still low. The t-test results, which compared the students' acquisition scores with the completeness score (60), obtained a sig value of 0.78, meaning that there was no difference in the mastery score and the HOTS acquisition of students. Calculation data based on cognitive level categories, learning indicators, and achievement categories also show that the HOTS ability of students is still low

This research aims to see the effect of learning carried out by implementing digital literacy-based learning and conventional learning activities on the intelligence of class VIII students. In this study, taking a sample of 2 different classes in SMP Negeri 15 Sukabumi City with eighth grade students, it can be said that 20 people as the experimental class and seventh grade students can be measured 17 as the control class. Collecting research data using an emotional intelligence questionnaire instrument. Analysis of research data using inferential statistics in the form of paired sample T test. Prior to the hypothesis data, the prerequisite test data used the normality and homogeneity test to test the indicators and the distribution of the research data taken. The results showed that there were differences in the scores of students' intelligence using regulated and conventional independent learning. The group of students with the application of self-regulated learning based on digital literacy has a significant hypothesis test (2 tailed) 0.000 0.05. Based on this research, that the application of learning, self-regulated learning based on digital literacy affects the emotional intelligence of class VIII C students at SMP Negeri 15 Sukabumi City. Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan penerapan self-ragulated learning berbasis literasi digital dan kegiatan belajar secara konvensional terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas VIII. Pada penilitian ini mengambil sampel 2 kelas yang berbeda di SMP Negeri 15 Kota Sukabumi dengan siswa kelas VIII C berjumlah 20 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIII H berjumlah 17 sebagai kelas kontrol Mrtode penelitian menggunakaan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian dengan menggunakan instrumen angket kecerdasan emosional. Data penelitian di analisis dengan menggunakan statistic inferensial berupa uji T paired sample test. Sebelum pengujian data hipotesis data di uji prasayarat dengan menggunaan uji normalitas serta homogenitas untuk mengetahui varian dan sebaran data penelitian yang di ambil. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa dengan menggunakan penerapan belajar self regulated learning dan konvensional. Kelompok siswa dengan penerapan self regulated learning berbasis literasi digital memiliki hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan siginifikan (2 tailed) 0,000 < 0.05 yang artinya ada perbedaan rata-rata dari hasil pretest dan posttest sedangkan pembelajaran secara konvensional tidak menunjukan adanya perbedaan rata-rata karena hasilnya 0,163 > 0,05. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran self regulated learning berbasis literasi digital berpengaruh terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas VIII C di SMP Negeri 15 Kota sukabumi.

This research is motivated by the low ability of students' tree thinking, the delivery of animalia material which is still abstract and learning method still teacher centered. So,this research used Modified Free Inquiry learning model which is student-oriented. This study aims to determine the implications of the Modified Free Inquiry learning model on the tree thinking skill of high school students in the Kingdom Animalia lesson. The type of research used in this research is Quasi Experiment with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design research design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, which are class X MIPA 4 as the experimental class and X MIPA 6 as the control class. The results showed that the tree thinking skill of students in the Kingdom Animalia lesson resulted in an average pretest score of 37.84 and an average posttest score of 81.32 with an N-Gain average score of 0.74 in the high category. Based on the hypothesis test, the significance value of Sig (2-tailed) is 0.000, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The emergence of the experimental class students' tree thinking skill on each indicator varied but generally had an N-Gain score in the high category. The results of the student response questionnaire regarding the use of the Modified Free Inquiry model show an average score in the very good category (81-100), this is also in line with the teacher's response at the time of the interview. The results of the three instruments in this study indicate that the Modified Free Inquiry learning model has implications for the tree thinking skiil of high school students in the Kingdom Animalia lesson.

Social skills refer to the ability of people with intellectual disabilities in expressing emotions both verbally and non-verbally that can be accepted or responded to, as well as beneficial to themselves and others. The purpose of this study was to obtain an empirical overview and conduct analysts about: 1) Characteristics of respondents, 2) Overview of social skills before applying modeling techniques, and 3) Overview of social skills after modeling techniques. The method used is quantitative method with Single Subject Design (SSD). Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation, and documentation studies. The source of this research data is primary and secondary sources. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sample. The validity of the measuring instrument is to test the validity of the product moment technique, while the reliability test of the measuring instrument uses Alpha Cronbach's internal concistency analysis method. The analytical technique is quantitative. The results of the study show that the implementation of modeling techniques influences the social skills of people with intellectual disabilities.

Cognitive learning outcomes are the student's ability to understand a concept expressed in a score through a test. Cognitive learning outcomes are important learning outcomes as the basis for mastery of other abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the cognitive learning outcomes of class XI IPA 2 students on the material of the human respiratory system. The research method used is a qualitative method using an instrument in the form of a multiple choice written test. The research was conducted on March 22, 2021. The subjects of this study were class XI IPA 2 with a total of 30 students. The data obtained is the result of students' cognitive learning on the material of the human respiratory system. The results obtained by an average value on the material of the human respiratory system are 27% of students in category A, 17% in category B, 30% with C criteria and 26% with D criteria. thus providing the achievement of better cognitive learning outcomes, the obstacle is the lack of direct interaction between educators and students. Abstrak. Hasil belajar kognitif merupakan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami suatu konsep yang di nyatakan dalam sebuah skor melalui tes. Hasil belajar kognitif merupakan hasil belajar yang penting sebagai dasar penguasaan kemampuan lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI IPA 2 pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa tes tertulis pilihan ganda. Penelitian di lakukan pada 22 Maret 2021. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 2 dengan jumlah sebanyak 30 siswa. Data yang di peroleh merupakan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Hasil yang di peroleh rata-rata nilai pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia yaitu 27% peserta didik berkategori A, 17% berkategori B, 30% berkriteria C dan 26% berkriteria D. Penggunaan metode Blended learning membantu peserta didik dalam menambah pengetahuan yang lebih luas, namun kendalanya adalah kurangnya interaksi secara langsung antara pendidik dan peserta didik.

Social media mostly provides facilities and applications which make the youth enjoy their time longer in using social media. In relation to which, the objectives of this study are to identify what are the positives and negatives effects of social media on the youth’s state and nation development. As for the method used herein is qualitative in nature and the method of collecting data applied herein is by adopting literary approach. Positive impact of social media are among the other things: to keep in touch with the members of family living so far from house or with the relative which have not met for a long time; to use it as teaching and learning sources; to use it as information media; to broaden fraternity networks; to use it as the facility to improve skill and competence; to use it as communication media; and to use it as promotion and business media. Meanwhile negative effect of social media are among the other things are: difficult to socialize with the people surrounding; social media can make somebody only think about him/herself; the lack of working performance; criminal in cyberspace; and pornography. Accordingly, by knowing positive and negative impact of social media the youth can be wiser to use it only for the purpose of developing the state and nation.

Principally, the objective of this research is to find out the result of achievement of student’s speaking skill through the performance of translation and interpreting studies. In view of that, this research constitutes one of teacher’s best endeavors to recognize the attainment of student’s speaking skill as the prerequisite for them to get a highly qualified competency for their carrier in the future. Hence, the objective of education for which the students pursue in the university can be accordingly achieved. The achievement of students speaking skill in the society is very important due to the fact that many kinds of world-class business opportunities need a qualification of competency-based speaking skill. The steps of improving the students speaking skill through translating and interpreting study are namely understanding linguistics, socio linguistics and psycho-linguistics and vocabulary as well.

The objectives of this research are to find out the result of achievement of national education objectives through environmental research of students and through the characteristics of education. This study used descriptive qualitative research. In connection to which, this research constitutes one of teacher’s best endeavors to know the attainment of education objectives and to ensure that teaching and learning activity in the class runs well, hence, the quality of education for students in the society can be accordingly improved

The objective of this research is to find out (1) The effects of interpersonal communication skill and vocabulary mastery jointly toward student’s speaking skill at private universities in East Jakarta; (2) The effect of interpersonal communication skill towards student’s speaking skill at private university in East Jakarta; (3) The effect of vocabulary mastery towards student’s speaking skill at private university in East Jakarta. In connection to which, research methodology used by the researcher is explanatory survey with quantitative approach through correlation method. The researcher concluded that population is collected from a number of groups interest to the researcher, a number of group which researcher would like to make the results of the study to be reported. As for the sample of which is undertaken by random sampling and the samples thereof are 40 people. Finally, the research findings are: (1) There are significant effects of interpersonal communication skill and vocabulary mastery jointly towards student’s speaking skill at private university in East Jakarta. It is proved by Faccount= 25.835 > F table (0,05,2,37) = 3,252, and sig = 0.000 < 0.05. 2) (2) There is significant effect of student’s interpersonal communication skill towards student’s speaking skill at private university in East Jakarta. It is proved by taccount= 4.436 > ttable 2.024, and sig = 0.000 < 0.05. (3) There is significant effect of vocabulary mastery towards student’s speaking skill at private university in East Jakarta. It is proved by taccount= 3.250>ttable 2.024, and sig = 0.002 < 0.05

This study aims to find how students' critical thinking skills after learning to use generative learning models in science learning material on global warming. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a population of 2 classes taken from class VII SMP in one of the cities of Sukabumi. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research design used in this study was the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The instrument used in this study is a multiple-choice test of 15 items, each of which has been declared valid and reliable. Based on the data requirements test, it is known that the results of the research data are normally distributed and the two classes have the same variance (homogeneous). From the data analysis, it is known that the average value of the posttest of the experimental class students with the generative learning model is 84.50 and the average value of the posttest of the control class students without using the generative learning model is 62.19. There is a significant difference in student learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the Z-test obtained by Zcount> Ztable (3.72 > 1.96) so this study rejects H0 and accepts H1. Thus, it can be concluded that there are effects of learning outcomes on the critical thinking skills of students who take part in learning by using generative learning models on global warming material.

In certain situations, a moving or stationary object can be a barrier for a vehicle. People and vehicles crossing could potentially get hit by a vehicle. Objects around roads as sidewalks, road separator, power poles, and railroad gates are also a potential source of danger when the driver is inattentive in driving the vehicle. A device that can help the driver to brake automatically is known as Automatic Braking System (ABS). ABS is a part of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which is a device designed to assist the driver in driving the process. This device was developed to reduce human error that is a major cause of traffic accidents. This paper presents the design of ABS based on fuzzy logic which is simulated in hardware by using a remote control car. The inputs of fuzzy logic are the speed and distance of the object in front of the vehicle, while the output of fuzzy logic is the intensity of braking. The test results on the three variations of speed: slow-speed, medium-speed, and high-speed shows that the design of ABS can work according to design.
