Beklemishev [sup.1] Author Affiliations: (1) grid.14476.30, 0000 0001 2342 9668, Department [...], The work aims at developing fluorimetric methods used for bioassay to expand the range of the determined low-molecular-weight organic analytes and cut down sample preparation operations using available fluorophores, reagents, and identical fluorimetric systems for qualitative and quantitative analysis. We proposed using the reaction of carbocyanine fluorophore oxidation by hydrogen peroxide, catalyzed by copper(II), changing fluorescence intensity in the near-IR region (700 nm). Several organic compounds of different nature accelerate or slow down the indicator reaction, to varying degrees, and at different times of the process. The model analytes were eight sulfonamides, which can be distinguished qualitatively using the kinetic factor in data processing by principal component analysis. We demonstrated on an example of phthalylsulfathiazole that the signal could be obtained not only in an aqueous solution but also in the presence of a turkey muscle homogenate at a level of 0.08-0.5 mM (RSD = 9%) without separation. The prospects for the development of such fluorescence platforms are discussed.

Abstract

The two-body problem with a central interaction on simply connected constant curvature spaces of an arbitrary dimension is considered. The explicit expression for the quantum two-body Hamiltonian via a radial differential operator and generators of the isometry group is found. We construct a self-adjoint extension of this Hamiltonian. Some its exact spectral series are calculated for several potential in the space ${\bf S}^3$. We describe also the reduced classical mechanical system on a homogeneous space of a Lie group in terms of the coadjoint action of this group. 17. The use of NIR Fluorimetry with photographic data acquisition in the fingerprinting method with the addition of fluorophores to the samples: discrimination of apple juices

Abstract

The application of dyes, that fluoresce in the near infrared (NIR, 700-800 nm) region, for the recognition of samples using a fingerprinting method with the addition of fluorophores to the samples (“fluorescent eye”) is proposed. The technique has been successfully applied to the classification of samples of various nature. In the current work, this strategy has been tested on the example of discrimination of 17 samples of apple juice from different manufacturers, purchased at different times. An indolenine series heptamethine carbocyanine dye in the presence of surfactants was used as the added fluorophore, red LEDs were used as an excitation source, and the signal was recorded using a digital camera with an additional IR filter installed; a spectrofluorimeter with a 96-well plate accessory was used to record the spectra. Photographic images were processed using Unscrambler X and Excel software. The results were presented using the following coordinates: intensity of NIR fluorescence - intensity of visible light reflection (using the photographic images). It was found that such presentation allowed the samples to be divided into groups associated with the manufacturer. We have also obtained intrinsic fluorescence spectra, including those with the addition of NIR dye, and these results were processed by the principal component analysis. It was possible to distinguish 5–6 groups of samples by their intrinsic emission, not counting the blank, while the spectra with the addition of the dye allowed to isolate the largest number of groups of samples (9). At the same time, the classification using spectra did not allow juices to be grouped by the producer. Also, obtaining photographs using a visualizer was easier and faster than recording the fluorescence spectra. Обнаружили, что такое представление позволяет разделить образцы на группы, связанные с производителем. Получали также спектры собственной флуоресценции, в том числе с добавкой БИК-красителя, обрабатывая эти результаты методом главных компонент. По собственной эмиссии можно выделить 5–6 групп образцов, не считая контрольного, тогда как по спектрам с добавкой красителя удается добиться выделения наибольшего числа групп образцов (девять). При этом классификация с использованием спектров не позволяет группировать соки по производителям. Abstract

We detected surface waves from two meteorite impacts on Mars. By measuring group velocity dispersion along the impact-lander path, we obtained a direct constraint on crustal structure away from the InSight lander. The crust north of the equatorial dichotomy had a shear wave velocity of approximately 3.2 kilometers per second in the 5- to 30-kilometer depth range, with little depth variation. This implies a higher crustal density than inferred beneath the lander, suggesting either compositional differences or reduced porosity in the volcanic areas traversed by the surface waves. The lower velocities and the crustal layering observed beneath the landing site down to a 10-kilometer depth are not a global feature. Structural variations revealed by surface waves hold implications for models of the formation and thickness of the martian crust.

Abstract

Обнаружено, что коммерческий карбоцианиновый краситель IR-783, содержащий сульфогруппы, в слабощелочной среде образует агрегаты с бромидом цетилтриметиламмония (ЦТАБ) с появлением новой полосы поглощения, изменением цвета раствора с синего на желтый (Dl = 350 нм) и изменением интенсивности флуоресценции в ближней ИК области. ЦТАБ определяли фотометрическим методом, фотографируя реакционную смесь в 96-луночном планшете камерой смартфона или в визуализаторе Camag. В качестве аналитического сигнала использовали разность интенсивностей красного и синего каналов (R - B), соответствующую желтому цвету. Диапазон определяемых концентраций в водном растворе составляет (3 - 25)·10-6 М, предел обнаружения 1.6·10-6 М, относительное стандартное отклонение 2-5 %. Определению не мешает ряд неионных ПАВ, неорганических солей и полимеров, мешают анионные ПАВ. Другие катионные ПАВ также дают сигналы, но с разной чувствительностью. Характеристики литературной методики определения ЦТАБ на основе красителя кумасси бриллиантовый синий G-250 и предлагаемой сопоставимы. Проанализирован образец лизирующего буфера, содержащего ЦТАБ. It was found that the commercial carbocyanine dye IR-783 containing sulfo groups forms aggregates with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) in a slightly alkaline medium yielding a new absorption band, a change in the solution color from blue to yellow (Dl = 350 nm), and a change in the fluorescence intensity in the near-IR region. CTAB was determined by the photometric method by photographing the reaction mixture in a 96-well plate with a smartphone camera or in a Camag visualizer. The difference between the intensities of the red and blue channels (R - B), corresponding to the yellow color, was used as an analytical signal. The linear range in an aqueous solution is (3 - 25)·10-6 M, the detection limit is 1.6·10-6 M, and the relative standard deviation is 2-5%. The determination is not affected with a number of non-ionic surfactants, inorganic salts and polymers; the anionic surfactants interfere. Other cationic surfactants also give analytical signals, but with different sensitivities. The characteristics of the literature method for the determination of CTAB based on the Coomassie brilliant blue G-250 dye and the proposed method are comparable. Abstract

Introduction. At present, Ukraine’s development depends on the agrarian-and-industrial sector as a sphere of priority to ensure the competitive ability of the national economy. The following growth of the agrarian-and-industrial complex demands accessible and considerable financing. The latest legislative changes created a great extent for investing climate in the country and a great probability of the moratorium cancellation to sell agricultural lands give grounds to observe and analyze the investment processes in Ukraine from another point of view. Purpose. The purpose is to analyze the tendencies of development and state of the investment processes in the agrarian-and-industrial complex of Ukraine from the scientific point of view and to determine the effectiveness of the investing activity in agriculture. The main task is discovering problems, analyzing the ways of insufficient investment of enterprises in the agrarian branch, seeking ways of increasing effectiveness of the investment processes in the agrarian sector. Results. The detailed analysis of the dynamics and structure of the capital and foreign investments into the agrarian-and-industrial complex of Ukraine has shown a positive trend of recovering investment activity in this sphere of economics. This testifies, first of all, the improvement of expectations of the already existing enterprises. In this way, the given research of the investment processes of the domestic agriculture confirms the fact that all three systematic, non-governmental sources of investment, growing and competitive ability (own profits of agrarian enterprises, bank credits and foreign investment) lose their positions today as source of developing the agrarian sector. In this situation, only the moratorium cancellation of selling agricultural lands will be able to solve the problem of insufficient investment into the agrarian-and-industrial complex of Ukraine with no cardinal changes in the social-and-economic structure of the country. Conclusions. To improve investment in the agrarian production, the legislation of the related branches should be changed from weakening the currency regulation to reforming the system of quality and safety of food products; a well thought-out and elaborated land reform being able to start the mechanism of setting prices of land and the system of their effective use should be implemented which will protect agrarians as well.
