The results of a study conducted within the framework of an interactive approach to the task formation, which is an actual branch of computer methods in education, are presented. The author notes that the branch is currently not used for teaching information technologies practice in higher educational institutions due to the labor cost of forming, implementing and taking into account the impact of interactive tasks on the success of the educational process participants. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the introduction of relevant information technologies into the educational process, as well as approaches to the verification and formation of knowledge. It tested the main hypothesis: tasks aimed at interactive activity better help students in mastering the material, based on their own perception, than static tasks based on traditional approaches in the educational process with information technologies application. An intraindividual scheme of the experiment is used on the basis of traditional and interactive tasks, different types of tasks are presented to the same group of students. The sample for the participants of the experiment is recruited among the most capable students of the Information Technologies Faculty, bachelors, 2-4 year of experience according to the criterion of academic performance in the framework of specialized disciplines (28 people participated). The variables are empirically selected characteristics that reflect the useful qualities of the task in the context of the educational process. Methods of descriptive statistics are used to test hypotheses. It is noted that the results of the study make it possible to determine and formulate conditions that allow maximum use of the advantages of each of the studied types of tasks. The research confirms the demand for the development of teaching tools for students using interactive tasks, indicating the boundary conditions under which, according to the author, an interactive approach to the construction and implementation of tasks can demonstrate its effectiveness.

Research is carried out on approaches for the digital adaptive platform for learning programming with the teamwork skills forming function application. The work environment interface and key components that make the platform adaptable are demonstrated. The platform services responsible for information security functions are detailed. An example of the presented task is given.

The Fe3O4/CoFe2O4 nanoparticles with a core–shell structure with an average size of 5 nm have been obtained by codeposition from the iron and cobalt chloride solutions. An analysis of the magnetic properties of the obtained system and their comparison with the data for single-phase Fe3O4 (4 nm) and CoFe2O4 (6 nm) nanoparticles has led to the conclusion about a noticeable interaction between the soft magnetic (Fe3O4) and hard magnetic (CoFe2O4) phases forming the core and shell of hybrid particles.

A research of existing approaches to the organization of client-server interaction is conducted. Special attention is paid to the practical application of client-server interaction on a single computer. An experiment was conducted with the implementation of minimal server code and the application of virtualization. The result of the experiment is presented, the technical features and the results obtained are described.

Orthorhombic Pb2Fe2Ge2O9 antiferromagnetic single crystals have been synthesized by a modified pseudo-flux technique and their magnetic, thermodynamic, and magnetodielectric properties have been investigated. It has been found that, below the Neel temperature (45.2 K), iron moments are arranged in a canted antiferromagnetic structure with a weak ferromagnetic moment parallel to the a axis. According to the specific heat measurement data, the TN value remains invariable in applied magnetic fields of up to 50 kOe within the experimental accuracy. The magnetic entropy in the investigated crystals attains 2Rln(2S + 1) right above TN, which is indicative of a purely magnetic nature of the transition. It has been shown that the weak ferromagnetic moment is induced by the interplay between the single-ion anisotropy and antisymmetric Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya exchange interaction, with the latter contribution being dominant. It has been established from the angular dependences of the magnetization in three orthorhombic planes that the symmetries of the magnetic and crystal structure are identical. The magnetodielectric properties of the Pb2Fe2Ge2O9 single crystals have been studied at different mutual orientations of the electric and magnetic fields. The most prominent anomalies have been observed in the vicinity of the spin-flop transition in a magnetic field applied along the c axis.

Near the Curie temperature TC = 30.3 K, the temperature dependences of the magnetization and heat capacity of a single-crystal ferromagnet PbMnBO4 in the magnetic fields of 1, 3, 10 and 30 kOe are studied. In the strong magnetic fields, both the magnetic contribution to the specific heat and the nonlinearity of the field dependences of the magnetization are maintained up to the temperatures exceeding TC more than twice. It is assumed that in PbMnBO4 the difference between TC, the paramagnetic Curie temperature θ = 49 K and the broad temperature region above TC where the magnetic contribution to the specific heat is significant is due to the quasi-one-dimensional character of the magnetic structure of this ferromagnet. Using both the estimation of TC from the Ginzburg-Landau field theory and the θ value, the total exchange interaction parameters 2J ≈ 40.4 K (intrachain) and z′J′ ≈ 8.8 K (interchain) are determined, with z′ = 4 being the number of neighboring chains. The estimation shows that the Ginzburg-Landau field theory describing the quasi-one-dimensional behavior of PbMnBO4 is well applicable in the temperature range from to T = S2J ≈ 80 K. Above this temperature, the mean field approximation with the exchange parameter λθ based on the paramagnetic Curie temperature θ describes well the experimental temperature dependences of the magnetization in the strong magnetic field and the specific heat is determined by the lattice contribution.

The dynamic magnetization switching of ferrihydrite nanoparticles has been investigated by a pulsed magnetometer technique in maximum fields Hmax of up to 130 kOe with pulse lengths of 4, 8, and 16 ms. Ferrihydrite exhibits antiferromagnetic ordering and defects cause the uncompensated magnetic moment in nanoparticles; therefore, the behavior typical of magnetic nanoparticles is observed. The dynamic hysteresis loops measured under the above-mentioned conditions show that the use of pulsed fields significantly broadens the temperature region of existence of the magnetic hysteresis and the coercivity can be governed by varying the maximum field and pulse length. This behavior is resulted from the relaxation effects typical of conventional ferro- and ferrimagnetic nanoparticles and the features typical of antiferromagnetic nanoparticles.

The dynamic magnetization switching of antiferromagnetic nickel oxide nanoparticles with a characteristic size of 8 nm has been experimentally investigated by pulsed field magnetometry. It is shown that, due to the presence of defects in NiO nanoparticles, as in other antiferromagnetic particles, the uncompensated magnetic moment is induced by the incomplete compensation of spins at the antiferromagnetic ordering. The dynamic magnetic hysteresis loops have been studied in pulsed fields with the maximum field ( $H_{{\max }}$ ) of up to 130 kOe and pulse lengths (τP) of 4, 8, and 16 ms. According to the results obtained, the coercivity (HC) depends on both the τP and $H_{{\max }}$ values. The observed increase in the $H_{\mathrm {C}}$ value with decreasing pulse length (i.e., with increasing switching field frequency) is unambiguously related with the relaxation processes typical of single-domain ferromagnetic nanoparticles. However, the observed effect of the maximum applied field ( $H_{{\max }})$ on the $H_{\mathrm {C}}$ value is assumed to be a feature of antiferromagnetic nanoparticles.

Nanoparticles of antiferromagnetically ordered materials acquire the uncompensated magnetic moment caused by defects and surface effects. A bright example of such a nano-antiferromagnet is nanoferrihydrite consisting of particles 2–5 nm in size, the magnetic moment of which amounts to hundreds of Bohr magnetons per particle. We present a brief review of the studies on magnetic properties of ferrihydrite produced by bacteria. Special attention is focused on the aspects of possible biomedical applications of this material, i.e., the particle elimination, toxicity, and possible use for targeted drug delivery.

Composite materials fabricated by annealing of nonsuperconducting ceramics La2CuO4 and La1.56Sr0.44CuO4 at 910 °C during various time are investigated. Areas of superconducting La1.85Sr0.15CuO4 phase arises at boundaries of contacting nonsuperconducting granules. The volume fraction of the superconducting phase increases with increasing annealing time. A model describing the magnetic and transport properties of the samples at low magnetic fields is constructed. The magnetotransport characteristics of obtained samples at low magnetic fields (∼ 100 Oe) are defined by weak links network formed by superconducting areas. At high fields, behavior of the system is defined by a magnetization of the disconnected superconducting islands. The average size of the superconducting areas has been estimated from an extended critical state model.

We describe a capacitive dilatometer for measuring the magnetostriction, piezoelectric effect, and linear thermal-expansion coefficient in the temperature range from 1.85 to 350 K in external magnetic fields of up to 90 kOe under a voltage of 1 kV, which operates on the basis of a Quantum Design PPMS commercial facility for studying the properties of solids.

We report on the investigations of a system of 8-nm NiO particles representing antiferromagnetic (AFM) materials, which are weak magnetic in the form of submicron particles, but can be considered to be magnetoactive in the form of nanoparticles due to the formation of the uncompensated magnetic moment in them. The regularities of the behavior of magnetization switching in AFM nanoparticles are established by studying the magnetic hysteresis loops under standard quasi-static conditions and in a quasi-sinusoidal pulsed field of up to 130 kOe with pulse lengths of 4–16 ms. The magnetic hysteresis loops are characterized by the strong fields of the irreversible magnetization behavior, which is especially pronounced upon pulsed field-induced magnetization switching. Under the pulsed field-induced magnetization switching conditions, which are analogous to the dynamic magnetic hysteresis, the coercivity increases with an increase in the maximum applied field H0 and a decrease in the pulse length. This behavior is explained by considering the flipping of magnetic moments of particles in an external ac magnetic field; however, in contrast to the case of single-domain ferro- and ferrimagnetic particles, the external field variation rate dH/dt is not a universal parameter uniquely determining the coercivity. At the dynamic magnetization switching in AFM nanoparticles, the H0 value plays a much more important role. The results obtained are indicative of the complex dynamics of the interaction between magnetic subsystems formed in AFM nanoparticles.

The results of the experimental investigation into the magnetic hysteresis of systems of superparamagnetic ferrihydrite nanoparticles of bacterial origin have been presented. The hysteresis properties of these objects are determined by the presence of an uncompensated magnetic moment in antiferromagnetic nanoparticles. It has been revealed that, under the conditions of cooling in an external magnetic field, there is a shift of the hysteresis loop with respect to the origin of the coordinates. These features are associated with the exchange coupling of the uncompensated magnetic moment and the antiferromagnetic “core” of the particles, as well as with processes similar to those responsible for the behavior of minor hysteresis loops due to strong local anisotropy fields of the ferrihydrite nanoparticles.

The current-voltage characteristics of a porous superconductor Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox (Bi2223) have been measured at temperatures in the range from 10 to 90 K in magnetic fields of 0–80 kOe. The experimental dependences have been analyzed within the model allowing for pinning by clusters of a normal phase with fractal boundaries, as well as the model taking into account phase transformations of vortex matter. It has been found that the electrical resistance of the superconductor material significantly increases at temperatures of 60–70 K over the entire range of magnetic fields under consideration without changing in the sign of the curvature of the dependence R(I). It has been assumed that this behavior is associated with the specific feature of the pinning in a highly porous high-temperature superconductor, which lies in the fractality of the distribution of pinning centers in a wide range of self-similarity scales. The studied material at the aforementioned temperatures is characterized by the melting of the vortex structure.

Under consideration is the method of probabilistic forecasting of macro parameters representing general patterns of an applied multi-agent system behavior. This system introduces the game interaction between a set of agents and a target. The behavior dynamics of such a system is described by a discrete-state discrete-time Markov random process and represented in the terms, which are considered convenient for interpretation and practical control of macro parameters. The corresponding calculations are based on common characteristics of the initial conditions. The probabilistic model of behavior of the system is generalized for the case of the mobile target and supplemented with formulas for the dynamical calculation of probabilistic distributions of the target’s defeat by the agents as well as the agent’s defeat by the target.

The preliminary results of the investigation of magnetic properties of a novel low-density superconducting material Bi1.8Pb0.3Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox with a low density and microfoam structure are presented. The temperature, magnetic field, and time dependences of magnetization M have been measured. The experimental hysteresis loops M(H) are well described in the framework of the Val’kov-Khrustalev theory developed for type II granular superconductors.

HTSC Bi 1.8 Pb 0.3 Sr 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O x of low density has been synthesized and its structural and physical properties have been studied. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) image shows that the material obtained has porous “foam” structure. The levitation force measured for the porous Bi 1.8 Pb 0.3 Sr 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O x is appeared to be approximately the same as for polycrystalline YBCO of high density. These “foam” structures may be an ideal material for some practical applications of HTSCs in bulk form.

The probabilistic model to represent the behavior of an applied multi-agent system that introduces the interaction between a set of agents and Player has been developed within the framework of player-centered probabilistic computer games. The approach features are given with the aid of a game developed for testing cognitive abilities. The agent’s behavior is nondeterministic and therefore unpredictable from Player viewpoint. The system allows both coordinated and autonomous agent’s behavior that depends on availability of information about the presence and position of workable agents for each other. Agent’s behavior is determined with the aid of the algorithm that includes identification of the probabilistic model parameters using maximized objective functions representing individual and group probabilities for Player defeating. Both the model and algorithm ensure the behavior control for relevant applied multi-agent systems.

The dependence of magnetization on magnetic field M(H) was measured for textured BSCCO samples for H || c, H || ab at different temperatures. Inclusion of the pinning parameter in the Valkov-Khrustalev model [V.V. Valkov, B.P. Khrustalev, JETP 80 (1995) 680] allowed to describe successfully the asymmetric M(H) dependencies. The temperature and magnetic field dependencies of critical current and pinning parameter for H || c and H || ab were estimated., 4 pages, 1 figure, will be published in Physica C

We have studied the magneto-resistive effect in bulk Y3/4Lu1/4Ba2Cu3O7 + CuO composites prepared by the fast-sintering technique. It has been found that the composites exhibit large magnetoresistance in low magnetic fields ( jc (where jc is the critical-current density), large values of the magnetoresistance R0, up to thousands percent, are obtained in the range of weak magnetic fields (tens of oersteds) at 77 K. This effect is attractive for practical applications of these composite materials as active elements of magnetic-field sensors. The sign of the magneto-resistive effect is positive in contrast to that of manganese oxides. This may be important for some devices.

We report the results of investigations of the effect of cooling in an external magnetic field starting from the temperature over superparamagnetic blocking temperature TB on the shift of magnetic hysteresis loops in systems of ferrihydrite nanoparticles from ∼2.5 to ∼5 nm in size with different TB values. In virtue of high anisotropy fields of ferrihydrite nanoparticles and open hysteresis loops in the range of experimentally attainable magnetic fields, the shape of hysteresis loops of such objects in the field-cooling mode is influenced by the minor hysteresis loop effect. A technique is proposed for distinguishing the exchange bias effect among the effects related to the minor hysteresis loops caused by high anisotropy fields of ferrihydrite particles. The exchange bias in ferrihydrite is stably observed for particles not less than 3 nm in size or with TB over 40 K, and its characteristic value increases with the particle size.

Inhomogeneous distribution of the pinning force in superconductor results in a magnetization asymmetry. A model considering the field distribution in superconductor was developed and symmetric and asymmetric magnetization loops of porous and textured Bi_{1.8}Pb_{0.3}Sr_{1.9}Ca_{2}Cu_{3}O_{x} were fitted. It is found that the thermal equilibrium magnetization realizes in crystals smaller than some size depending on temperature and magnetic field., 11 pages, 5 figures

The intragrain pinning in high-$T_c$ superconductor compounds Y$_{1-x}$RE$_{x}$Ba$_{2}$Cu$_{3}$O$_{7-\delta}$ with low concentration of RE (La, Ce, Pr) was investigated. The current-voltage ($I$-$V$) characteristics of break junctions of polycrystalline La$_{1.85}$Sr$_{0.15}$CuO$_4$, Y$_{0.75}$Lu$_{0.25}$Ba$_2$Cu$_3$O$_{7-\delta}$, Bi$_{1.8}$Pb$_{0.3}$Sr$_{1.9}$Ca$_2$Cu$_3$O$_x$ and composite YBa$_2$Cu$_3$O$_{7-\delta}$ + Ag are investigated. The experimental $I$-$V$ curves exhibit the specific peculiarities of superconductor/normal-metal/superconductor junctions. The relation between an $I$-$V$ characteristic of network of weak links and $I$-$V$ dependencies of typical weak links is suggested to describe the experimental data. The current-voltage characteristic (CVC) of break junction made from polycrystalline Bi_{1.8}Pb_{0.3}Sr_{1.9}Ca_2Cu_3O_x is investigated. The effect of grain boundaries on magnetoresistance (MR) of manganites have been investigated by the comparative analysis of the properties of single-crystal and polycrystalline (La0.5Eu0.5)0.7Pb0.3MnO3. While MR of the single crystal is maximum near the Curie temperature and vanishes in the low-temperature region, the polycrystalline (La0.5Eu0.5)0.7Pb0.3MnO3 sample exhibits high MR in the low-temperature region. In order to clarify the origin of the low-temperature MR, the transport and magnetic properties of the polycrystalline (La0.5Eu0.5)0.7Pb0.3MnO3 in magnetic fields have been supplemented by study of magnetic properties and specific heat measurements. The results obtained could be attributed to spin-dependent tunneling between ferromagnetic grains through insulating antiferromagnetic grain boundaries.

In order to clarify the mechanism of hysteretic behavior of magnetoresistance of granular HTSC the magnetoresistance curves R(H) and time evolution of the resistance in constant applied magnetic fields have been studied in granular YBCO at T=77 K. It was found that on ascending branch of R(H) dependence the resistance at H=const decreased with time while on the descending branch the resistance increased with time in applied constant magnetic field. For the range of low magnetic fields (below the minimum point of the descending branch of R(H) dependence) the resistance at H=const decreased again. The behavior observed is well described by the model of granular HTSC, where the intergrain space is in effective magnetic field which is the superposition of the applied field and the field induced by superconducting grains. The time evolution of resistance reflects processes of time relaxation of magnetization of HTSC grains due to the intragrain flux creep.
