- Abstract
Physical activity is considered of vital importance for maintaining an optimal health status in the different facets of humans. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the benefits of the relationship between physical activity and psychological well-being in the elderly in rural areas. Methods: an intentional sampling method was used by means of face-to-face self-perception instruments (survey) at the home of each of the participants (n = 96), through the application of the international physical activity questionnaire short version (IPAQ-S), and the psychological well-being index (PGWB-S). The results showed a positive effect between higher levels of physical activity in the psychological dimensions of the respondents, determined by a greater effect size (ES: >0.8). We concluded that the elderly who have higher levels of physical activity tend to improve their levels of psychological well-being, especially in the dimensions of positive well-being and self-perceived general health., La actividad física se considera de vital importancia para mantener un estado de salud óptimo en los diferentes campos integrales del ser humano.

- Abstract
After the COVID-19 period, academic achievement among elite student-athletes has not shown any improvement and it is not yet known exactly the main factors that contributed to academic achievement. In addition, limited evidence in previous research that analyzed the relationship between technological and psychological readiness with academic achievement among elite student athletes at the college level became a gap in this study. Therefore, this study investigated the relationship between technological and psychological readiness variables and academic achievement. Correlational research was adopted in this study which involved eighty-five elite first-year student-athletes from the Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Indonesia). Technological and psychological readiness was measured using a questionnaire while academic achievement was measured by filling out questions about soccer, basketball and volleyball. Spearman's rank was used to investigate the relationship of each variable. We observed several findings in this study. First, there was a relationship between the variable technological readiness and academic achievement. Second, there was a psychological relationship between academic achievement. Third, there was relationship between technological and psychological readiness and academic achievement. Thus, we highlight that the level of academic achievement among elite student athletes in the first year was closely related to technological and psychological readiness., Después del período COVID-19, el rendimiento académico entre los estudiantes-atletas de élite no ha mostrado ninguna mejora y aún no se conoce exactamente los principales factores que contribuyeron al rendimiento académico.

- Abstract
The footprint and body posture are important variables to consider in the physical and motor development of school populations, so the objective was to analyze the relationship between footprint and body posture in physical education students of school age. The number of participants was 33 students divided into 2 groups: girls (42.5%) and boys (57.5%). The Portland State University (PSU) method was used for postural evaluation, and the Hernandez Corvo Index (HCI) was used for the footprint. The main findings were that 10% of the population had flat feet, significant differences were found in terms of posture where females had higher values, approaching the ideal value of 85%. A significant moderate correlation (r=0.46; p≤0.05) was found between BMI and shoulder girdle. In conclusion, there were no significant correlations between the PSU method and the HCI, possibly due to the subjectivity of the PSU method.

Abstract : The engagement in different modalities of martial arts has been growing in recent years. Some of the reasons for the interest in this type of physical activity are the benefits provided, such as discipline, respect, muscular strength, coordination, balance, and flexibility. The objective of this research was to analyze and compare results of plantar pressure, anthropometry and bilateral asymmetry between muay thai and jiu jitsu athletes. Participants were muay thai (n=15) and jiu jitsu (n=16) athletes, with 8.5 ± 4.0 and 6.3 ± 3.4 years of experience in their modalities, respectively. Four evaluations were performed: bilateral anthropometry, baropodometry, posturometry (using the Portland State University Postural (PSU)), and bilateral asymmetry (analyzed via counter movement jump (CMJ)). Student t-tests were used for independent and paired samples comparisons, while Pearson's coefficient was calculated for correlation analysis. There were significant differences when comparing right and left sides in the baropodometry variables in muai thay and jiu jitsu athletes, % strength, and peak force and pressure force (p

ABSTRACT In order to contribute to the control of industrial accidents this research seeks to analyze the study of human error in accident inves tigations contributes in actions for the control and reduction of accidents in a poultry slaughterhouse. The method of analysis was used to assess the types of human errors through a series of questions in which there are always two choices of answers, with a yes or no and as the way of answers creates an algorithm for error detection. The largest percentages of errors were found in two groups, the supervisor order and inadequate procedures. Contrary to the results found in the study, the work safety actions are focused on conditions that do not contribute to the prevention and control of risks. It can be concluded that the risk analysis tool used by the company in addition to neglecting the analysis of human error, does not address properly the causes and actions raised in the investigation of the accident.

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to identify the profile of the employees of a Secretary of an Education Institution with regard to the complaint of pain and discomfort body. Participants were 41 employees who perform their work activities in sitting on computerized terminals. The instruments used in data collection were: Scale of Pain and/or Discomfort Body, RULA method, Wells's seat. The data were processed using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, relative frequency) and inferential. The analysis of the attitudes of different segments was observed that no position was considered acceptable, it means, all postures generate risk on health of the worker. It is thus a negative profile of employees of this study with regard to the complaint of pain and discomfort body postures and biomechanical overload during task performance and level of body flexibility, which separately or together may cause risks to health worker possibly affecting their performance and quality of life.

The present research project acquires relevance, to investigate didactic strategies that make possible the correct development of basic motor skills, fundamental in the integral development of the human being, "since, by means of the repeated, varied and systematic practice of basic skills, the learning of specific and specialized skills is configured and constructed, all of them as foundations and essential components of human development". ( CURRICULAR GUIDE FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION, p. 7). It corresponds then to the area of Physical Education, Recreation and Sports, as a fundamental and mandatory area, to assume and build an autonomous corporeality that gives meaning to the development of motor skills, physical capacities to face different tasks in diverse situations, the playful attitudes that give the creative and fun character to motor activities, besides, the learning and development of movement techniques to be efficient in each situation. From the project, we want to highlight the importance of taking advantage of the plasticity of the brain to enhance and acquire new learning in the motor area, which is part of the integral development of these. And also, to strengthen psychostimulation, through activities and strategies, oriented to the rehabilitation and maintenance of mental functions. As evidenced by the above, the relevance of Physical Education, Recreation and Sports for people with this type of syndrome, this is the purpose of the didactic guides in which facilitate the classes since it is something that is being experienced providing a benefit for teachers and future researchers. - Abstract
Introduction: Introduction: surveys play a crucial role in evaluating the quality of food in populations, especially in healthcare settings, helping identify important characteristics of food descriptions and improving efficiency in the collection and management of data in dietary surveys. Objective: the primary aim of this study was to analyze the internal consistency of the New Index of Global Food Quality (NIGFQ) instrument and assess its applicability to sociodemographic variables and levels of physical activity (IPAQ-S) in a specific region of Chile. Methods: a descriptive, comparative, and correlational study that utilizes the online platform of Google Forms for data collection using the New Index of Global Food Quality (NIGFQ) and IPAQ-S instruments, in addition to considering sociodemographic variables, in a sample of 1,331 participants from the metropolitan region of Chile. Results: the study shows an improvement in the reliability of the NIGFQ (Cronbach's alpha: 0.63 to 0.71). Findings reveal significant inverse correlations between fruits (r = -0.31; p ≤ 0.05) and legumes (r = -0.34; p ≤ 0.05) with body mass. Conclusions: it is concluded that values above 52.5 points are considered healthy on the new evaluation scale of the index, supported by statistical reliability tests. Similarly, the components of the adjusted New Index of Global Food Quality, particularly fruits and vegetables in greater proportion, show a beneficial relationship with daily consumption in reducing body mass index and body weight.
