La incertidumbre en la disponibilidad de información precisa sobre el número y características de las poblaciones potencialmente afectadas por una intervención suele ser el mayor factor limitante de la efectividad de toda evaluación de impacto. Una de las claves del éxito de la implementación de la Evaluación de Impacto en la Salud (EIS) en Andalucía ha sido la disponibilidad de datos de población georreferenciada en cuadrículas que difunde el Instituto de Estadística y Cartografía de Andalucía. Estos datos permiten a la administración y a los agentes económicos y sociales afrontar los grandes retos que plantea la EIS: identificación y caracterización de la población vulnerable. La tecnología y el software libre han permitido dar un paso más allá, facilitando herramientas a la ciudadanía que faciliten esa caracterización y representación espacial de los indicadores necesarios para la elaboración de los informes de evaluación. Es en este contexto donde se ha desarrollado un complemento en QGIS mediante el lenguaje de programación Python que facilita la accesibilidad a los datos geoespaciales indicados y su posterior tratamiento

Hydroxy-azirine (C2H3NO) is a -OH derivative of azirine (C2H3N), molecule that has been the subject of several unfruitful searches in space. Hydroxy-azirine is an isomer of the detected prebiotic species methyl isocyanate, CH3NCO, and glycolonitrile, HOCH2CN, as well as the yet undetected imine acetaldehyde, NHCHCHO. However, the lack of preliminary spectroscopic data on hydroxy-azirine has prevented its astronomical search. The aim of this study is to provide high-level theoretical spectroscopic signatures of the most stable hydroxy-azirine isomers to enable their eventual interstellar search. A total of 12 isomers have been characterized for hydroxy-azirine and their isomerization processes have been analysed at the CCSD(T)-F12/cc-pVTZ-F12 level. The most stable structures are 3-hydroxy-2H-azirine (I) and 2-hydroxy-2H-azirine (II) in their syn- and anti-configurations, which are suggested as the most relevant candidates for laboratory and interstellar detection. To ease their identification by means of rotational spectroscopy, we report a set of the required spectroscopic parameters using state-of-the-art composite and coupled-cluster approaches. For astronomical purposes, we provide a complete line list for I-syn and I-antihydroxy-azirine up to 50 GHz, which takes the hyperfine structure into account, and will be essential to hunt for these interstellar candidates experimentally. In addition, anharmonic vibrational frequencies and intensities are reported to predict a trustworthy vibrational spectra and to estimate the vibrational partition function. Finally, we analyse the possibility of formation of hydroxy-azirine from the reaction of azirine with the hydroxyl radical in the gas-phase and on the surface of ices, finding for the latter a feasible formation route under interstellar conditions.

Este artículo aborda la traducción española de A Childhood: The Biography of a Place. La autobiografía de Harry Crews se publicó en 1978 y se tradujo al castellano en 2014, cuando la editorial Acuarela y A. Machado editó la versión de Javier Lucini. A Childhood se inscribe en el subgénero de la Grit Lit, pues narra las vidas de los blancos pobres en la Georgia de finales de los años treinta y la protagonizan los freaks que suelen asociarse con el Otro en la literatura estadounidense canónica. El libro da voz a la alteridad y retrata su variedad lingüística no estándar. Este trabajo observa cómo el dialecto literario de A Childhood recrea ciertos rasgos del inglés sureño estadounidense, los cuales suponen un reto traductológico. Se describen los contextos fuente y meta y se examinan la recepción de la obra y los paratextos que la acompañan. Se analizan las estrategias de Lucini para verter al castellano el dialecto literario de A Childhood y se muestra cómo recrea las voces sureñas al introducir marcas no estándar y una serie de notas, las cuales enfatizan la narrativa de Nosotros contra la Alteridad en el texto meta.

Producción Científica, In the present work, we report the first rotational study of N-acetylgalactosamine, a cancer-associated sugar derivative, by means of high-resolution rotational spectroscopy. Two different conformers have been conclusively characterized using broadband Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy coupled with a laser ablation vaporization system. Although there are some experiences that demonstrate the validity of the use of augmented reality in schools to help students understand and retain complex concepts, augmented reality has not been widely adopted in the education sector yet. This is in part because it is hard to use augmented reality applications in collaborative learning scenarios and to integrate them in the existing school curricula. In this work, we present an interoperable architecture that simplifies the creation of augmented reality applications, enables multi-user student collaboration and provides advanced mechanisms for data analysis and visualization. A review of the literature together with a survey answered by 47 primary and secondary school teachers allowed us to identify the design objectives of cleAR, an architecture for augmented reality-based collaborative educational applications. cleAR has been validated through the development of three proofs of concept. cleAR provides a more mature technological ecosystem that will foster the emergence of augmented reality applications for education and their inclusion in existing school programs.

For a century, successive generations of migrants—Irish, German, Italian, Jewish, and Hispanic—arrive in Dropsie Avenue. All of them spark hatred in those who have already settled and assimilated. Coexistence becomes more and more tense till violent confrontations arise. Dropsie Avenue also migrates when Ignacio Sampere translates it into Spanish in 1995 and Norma publishes it. Its Spanish publication history may seem confusing, since it was re-issued in 2007 and 2017 as part of a volume titled A Contract with God. Life in Dropsie Avenue. Producción Científica, We report a detailed structural study of cytisine, an alkaloid used to help with smoking cessation, looking forward to unveiling its role as a nicotinic agonist. High-resolution rotational spectroscopy has allowed us to characterize two different conformers exhibiting axial and equatorial arrangements of the piperidinic NH group. Unexpectedly, the axial form has been found as the predominant configuration, in contrast to that observed for related molecules, such as piperidine. This anomalous behavior has been justified in terms of an intramolecular NH···N hydrogen bond. This position paper, sponsored by the Asociación Española de Gastroenterología [Spanish Association of Gastroenterology], the Sociedad Española de Endoscopia Digestiva [Spanish Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society] and the Sociedad Española de Anatomía Patológica [Spanish Anatomical Pathology Society], aims to establish recommendations for performing an high quality upper gastrointestinal endoscopy for the screening of gastric cancer precursor lesions (GCPL) in low-incidence populations, such as the Spanish population. To establish the quality of the evidence and the levels of recommendation, we used the methodology based on the GRADE system (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation). We obtained a consensus among experts using a Delphi method. The document evaluates different measures to improve the quality of upper gastrointestinal endoscopy in this setting and makes recommendations on how to evaluate and treat the identified lesions. We recommend that upper gastrointestinal endoscopy for surveillance of GCPL should be performed by endoscopists with adequate training, administering oral premedication and use of sedation. To improve the identification of GCPL, we recommend the use of high definition endoscopes and conventional or digital chromoendoscopy and, for biopsies, NBI should be used to target the most suspicious areas of intestinal metaplasia. Regarding the evaluation of visible lesions, the risk of submucosal invasion should be evaluated with magnifying endoscopes and endoscopic ultrasound should be reserved for those with suspected deep invasion. In lesions amenable to endoscopic resection, submucosal endoscopic dissection is considered the technique of choice.

Resumen Este documento de posicionamiento, auspiciado por la Asociacion Espanola de Gastroenterologia, la Sociedad Espanola de Endoscopia Digestiva y la Sociedad Espanola de Anatomia Patologica, tiene como objetivo establecer recomendaciones para realizar una endoscopia digestiva (EDA) de calidad en la deteccion y vigilancia de lesiones precursoras de cancer gastrico (LPCG) en poblaciones con incidencia baja, como la espanola. Para establecer la calidad de la evidencia y los niveles de recomendacion se ha utilizado la metodologia basada en el sistema GRADE (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation). Se obtuvo el consenso entre expertos mediante un metodo Delphi. El documento evalua diferentes medidas para mejorar la calidad de la EDA en este contexto y hace recomendaciones de como evaluar y tratar las lesiones identificadas. Se recomienda que la EDA de vigilancia de LPCG sea realizada por endoscopistas con capacitacion adecuada, administrando premedicacion oral y uso de sedacion. Para mejorar la identificacion de LPCG se recomienda el uso de endoscopios de alta definicion y cromoendoscopia convencional o digital, y para las biopsias debe utilizarse el NBI para dirigirlas a las areas mas sospechosas de metaplasia intestinal. En cuanto a la evaluacion de las lesiones visibles, el riesgo de invasion de la submucosa debe evaluarse con endoscopios de magnificacion y reservar la ecoendoscopia para aquellas con sospecha de invasion profunda. En las lesiones susceptibles de reseccion endoscopica, la diseccion endoscopica submucosa se considera la tecnica de eleccion.

The use of energy storage systems in standalone photovoltaic installations is essential to supply energy demands, independently of solar generation. Accurate prediction of the battery state is critical for the safe, durable, and reliable operation of systems in this type of installations. In this study, an installation located in the area of Aragon (Spain) has been considered. Two methods, based on different types of Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), are proposed to predict the battery voltage of the installation two days ahead. Specifically, the Nonlinear Auto Regressive with Exogenous Input (NARX) network and the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network are studied and compared. The implemented algorithms process battery voltage, temperature and current waveforms; and rely on the selection of different future scenarios based on weather forecasting to estimate the future voltage of the battery. The proposed methodology is capable of predicting the voltage with a Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) error of 1.2 V for batteries of 48 V, in critical situations where the installation is running out of energy. The study contributes to the ongoing research of developing preventive control systems that help reduce costs and improve the performance of remote energy storage systems based on renewable energies with a positive outcome.

This paper studies how two recent neo-slave narratives have been translated into Spanish: The Good Lord Bird, by James McBride, and The Underground Railroad, by Colson Whitehead. Since they were both published simultaneously in Spain in September 2017, special attention is paid to the strategies used to render Black English, which marks slaves’ otherness, in the target polysystem. An overview of the origin, rise, and evolution of neo-slave narratives precedes the features of African-American Vernacular English portrayed in the novels that belong to this sub-genre. After some insights into the issue of translating literary dialect, the risks it entails, and the different strategies that can be used, the Spanish versions of McBride’s and Whitehead’s works are analyzed accordingly and contrasted.

Producción Científica, We report a state-of-the-art spectroscopic study of an archetypical barbaralone, conclusively revealing the valence tautomerism phenomena for this bistable molecular system. The two distinct 1- and 5-substituted valence tautomers have been isolated in a supersonic expansion for the first time and successfully characterized by high-resolution rotational spectroscopy. This work provides irrefutable experimental evidence of the [3,3]-rearrangement in barbaralones and highlights the use of rotational spectroscopy to analyze shape-shifting mixtures. The continuous flow, enantioselective, organophotoredox catalytic asymmetric alkylation of aldehydes was studied, by using a homemade, custom-designed photoreactor for reactions under cryogenic conditions. Going from microfluidic conditions up to a 10 mL mesofluidic reactor, an increase of productivity by almost 18000 % compared to the batch reaction was demonstrated. Finally, for the first time, a stereoselective photoredox organocatalytic continuous flow reaction in a fully telescoped process for an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API)synthesis was successfully achieved. The final process consists of four units of operation: visible light-driven asymmetric catalytic benzylation under continuous flow, inline continuous work-up, neutralisation and a final oxidative amidation step afforded the pharmaceutically active molecule in 95 % e.e.

The Convention for the Protection of the Architectural Heritage of Europe, adopted in 1985, constitutes the doctrinal core of the protection and conservation of the Architectural Heritage at an international level. Spain ratifies the Convention in 1989, after the approval of Law 16/1985 of the Spanish Historical Heritage adhering to the international legal framework. In the context of the autonomous state, since the 1990s all the Autonomous Communities have gradually adopted their own Cultural Heritage laws. The present study analyses the State’s law and the Autonomous laws of the Basque Country and Canary Islands, focusing on two of the aspects in which the Convention sets guidelines: the definition of Architectural Heritage and the identification of the assets subject to protection.

La Convención para la Salvaguarda del Patrimonio Arquitectónico de Europa, aprobada en 1985, constituye el núcleo doctrinal de la protección y conservación del Patrimonio Arquitectónico a nivel internacional. España ratifica la Convención en el año 1989, tras la aprobación de la Ley 16/1985 del Patrimonio Histórico Español con la que se adapta al marco jurídico internacional. En el contexto del estado autonómico, desde los años 90 todas las Comunidades Autónomas han aprobado gradualmente sus propias leyes de Patrimonio Cultural. Herein we present a laboratory rotational study of cyanoacetic acid (CH2(CN)C(O)OH), an organic acid as well as a -CN bearing molecule, that is a candidate molecular system to be detected in the interstellar medium (ISM). Our investigation aims to provide direct experimental frequencies of cyanoacetic acid to guide its eventual astronomical search in low-frequency surveys. Using different jet-cooled rotational spectroscopic techniques in the time domain, we have determined a precise set of the relevant rotational spectroscopic constants, including the 14N nuclear quadrupole coupling constants for the two distinct structures, cis- and gauche- cyanoacetic acid. En este trabajo se expone una experiencia diseñada para dar respuesta a los bajos niveles de implementación de las actividades en el medio natural en los colegios del barrio de Las Delicias en la ciudad de Zaragoza. El coste económico de las actividades y la falta de infraestructuras y materiales son los factores que más limitan a los maestros de Educación Física para poder incorporar estos contenidos en sus centros. La experiencia presentada tiene por objetivo superar estas dificultades. De este modo, queda constituida por dos apartados: en primer lugar, la construcción de un rocódromo a bajo coste. En segundo lugar, una unidad didáctica de ocho sesiones. Las actividades presentadas favorecen un uso responsable del rocódromo, favoreciendo la autonomía del alumnado en la iniciación a este deporte, pasando por los roles de escalador, asegurador y guía. La propuesta ha tenido gran acogida en el centro, implicando también a docentes del área de Educación Infantil en la decoración de la nueva infraestructura.Abstract: This paper presents an experience designed to address the low levels of implementation of outdoor activities in schools in ‘Las Delicias’ neighborhood, Zaragoza. The (high) cost of these activities and the lack of equipment and facilities are the main limitations that Physical Education teachers face when they try to carry them out in schools. The main objective of the experience we present is to overcome the aforementioned difficulties. To this end, it consists of two parts: firstly, the construction of a low-cost climbing wall. Secondly, the development of an eight-session teaching unit that will take place using the aforesaid climbing wall. These actions promote a responsible use of the climbing wall as well as the autonomy of the students through their introduction to this sport, where they will be requested to take the roles of climber, insurer, and guide.

Producción Científica, Enantioenriched 3‐amino‐3‐substituted oxindoles have been obtained by addition of different nucleophiles to N‐Boc ketimines derived from isatin catalyzed by chiral bifunctional supported thioureas. The Mannich reaction occurs with excellent enantioselection, but poor diastereoselection when prochiral nucleophiles were used. The supported catalyst were recovered and reused for five times without loss of activity. Producción Científica, Context. Cyanoacetamide is a –CN bearing molecule that is also an amide derivative target molecule in the interstellar medium. Aims. The aim of our investigation is to analyze the feasibility of a plausible formation process of protonated cyanoacetamide under interstellar conditions and to provide direct experimental frequencies of the ground vibrational state of the neutral form in the microwave region in order to enable its eventual identification in the interstellar medium. Methods. We used high-level theoretical computations to study the formation process of protonated cyanoacetamide. Furthermore, we employed a high-resolution laser-ablation molecular beam Fourier transform spectroscopic technique to measure the frequencies of the neutral form. Results. We report the first rotational characterization of cyanoacetamide, and a precise set of the relevant rotational spectroscopic constants have been determined as a first step to identifying the molecule in the interstellar medium. We fully explored the potential energy surface to study a gas-phase reaction on the formation process of protonated cyanoacetamide.
