In order to explore the influence of different charge conditions on the process of AOD smelting stainless steel， taking 430 stainless steel smelting in 150 t AOD furnace as an example， based on the actual production process， a material and heat balance simulation system of AOD refining stainless steel process was constructed. Through simulation calculation， the furnace temperature change under different charge conditions and related technical and economic indexes are deeply compared and analyzed.The results show that the furnace temperature will be low by using the raw material condition of dephosphorized molten iron and solid ferrochromium， and a large amount of ferrosilicon alloy should be added in the early stage of reduction to meet the requirements of steel tapping. Under this process condition， the consumption of ferrosilicon and lime reached 39.3 kg/t and 97.7 kg/t respectively， the continuous addition time of high carbon ferrochromium was about 12 min， the feeding rate was 4 t/min， and the maximum oxygen supply intensity at this time was 400 m3·min-1. By coordinating the relationship between oxygen supply and feeding rate， the temperature in the furnace was relatively stable； In the process of using dephosphorized molten iron + high chromium molten iron as furnace charge， the consumption of ferrosilicon and lime was 25.7 kg/t and 58.9 kg/t respectively. This process would generate heat surplus. By adding scrap steel as coolant to control the furnace temperature and meet the tapping temperature requirements， under this condition， the consumption of scrap steel per ton of steel was 169.1 kg， and the proportion of scrap steel added was 15.1%. The model calculation process can adjust and optimize the charge ratio according to the conditions of raw materials entering the furnace， which can provide theoretical and production guidance for AOD production of stainless steel.

Mg-based solid hydrogen storage materials have advantages such as high hydrogen storage capacity, safety and reliability, low price, and abundant magnesium resources. They are considered a solid hydrogen storage material with great application potential, however, their slow hydrogen absorption/desorption rate, high hydrogen absorption/desorption temperature, and relatively high activation energy and enthalpy limit their application in the field of hydrogen energy. Aiming at the current research on Mg-based solid hydrogen storage materials at home and abroad, this paper summarizes the improvement methods of Mg-based hydrogen storage materials, focusing on the effects of the addition of transition metal catalysts and carbon composite catalysts, as well as the construction of alloying, nanocrystallization, and composite systems on the hydrogen storage and desorption mechanism, microstructure, and dynamic/thermodynamic properties of Mg-based materials. Finally, the research results in this field are summarized, and the development trend and main challenges of magnesium-based hydrogen storage materials have been prospected.

Solitary fibular metastasis from lung adenocarcinoma is exceedingly rare, with only five documented cases. This report presents a 40-year-old non-smoking Asian male who initially presented with painful swelling in the right knee. Imaging revealed bony destruction of the right fibular head, and further investigations with chest CT, PET/C, pathologic biopsy and genetic testing identified a primary lung adenocarcinoma with EGFR exon 19 deletion mutation. The patient was treated with Osimertinib, resulting in significant tumor reduction. This was followed by thoracoscopic lobectomy and systematic lymph node dissection, and local radiotherapy for the fibular metastasis. The patient experienced complete pain relief and showed no recurrence or metastasis over a 26-month follow-up. This case highlights the diagnostic challenge posed by atypical presentations of metastasis and underscores the importance of comprehensive evaluation, adherence to treatment guidelines, and a multidisciplinary approach in managing oncological patients. The successful outcome in this young patient emphasizes the effectiveness of personalized treatment strategies in optimizing patient prognosis, offering valuable insights for similar clinical scenarios. Microcystin-LR (MC-LR), a cyanobacterial toxin, is a potent carcinogen implicated in colorectal cancer (CRC) progression. However, its impact on the tumor microenvironment (TME) during CRC development remains poorly understood. This study investigates the interaction between tumor cells and macrophages mediated by MC-LR within the TME and its influence on CRC progression. CRC mice exposed to MC-LR demonstrated a significant transformation from adenoma to adenocarcinoma. The infiltration of macrophages increased, and the IRE1α/XBP1 pathway was activated in CRC cells after MC-LR exposure, influencing macrophage M2 polarization under co-culture conditions. Additionally, hexokinase 2 (HK2), a downstream target of the IRE1α/XBP1 pathway, was identified, regulating glycolysis and lactate production. The MC-LR-induced IRE1α/XBP1/HK2 axis enhanced lactate production in CRC cells, promoting M2 macrophage polarization. Furthermore, co-culturing MC-LR-exposed CRC cells with macrophages, along with the IRE1α/XBP1 pathway inhibitor 4μ8C and the hexokinase inhibitor 2-DG, suppressed M2 macrophage-induced CRC cell migration, clonogenicity, and M2 macrophage polarization. This study elucidates the mechanism by which MC-LR-mediated interactions through the IRE1α/XBP1 pathway promote CRC progression, highlighting potential therapeutic targets. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
