With the rapid improvement of equipment integration technology, multi-spectrum detectors are integrated into compact volumes and widely used for object detection. Confront with this challenge, it is essential to propose a strategy to design a single-layer metasurface with multi-spectrum responses in microwave and infrared ranges. In this work, we proposed a method of designing meta-atoms, which is capable of achieving functional electromagnetic response at microwave and infrared individually. As a demonstration, a metasurface with four different occupation ratios and coding permutation features is designed, fabricated, and tested. In the microwave band, the pixel meta-atom is designed to realize highly efficient cross-polarization conversion between 5.0 and 10.0 GHz, which shows the metasurface can behave as ultra-low Radar Cross Section (RCS) reflectors in the working band; In the infrared band, different occupation ratio of meta-atoms are designed to realize the infrared emissivity from 0.60 to 0.80 in 3–14 μm, which can be used to exhibit digital infrared camouflage pattern. This work promotes the ability to use single-layer design to achieve digital infrared camouflage and microwave RCS reduction simultaneously. The one-layer design is simple in geometry, simplified in process, low cost in economy, and large scale in fabrication, which can promote practical use in compatible microwave stealth and infrared camouflage.

FinFET transistors with fin channel lengths of 160 nm and 2000 nm and a planar MOSFET transistor with channel lengths of 180 nm and 90 nm are presented with characteristic curves at various Gate biases. A finalized algorithm with kink effects was effectively responsible for addressing the field effect transistors. The algorithm included the modified conventional current–voltage formula and a nonlinear heat-associated kink solution which was simplified as a Gaussian form. Three parameters in the modified model included kN (which was related with channel width, channel length, and gate oxide capacitor, and was proportional to the mobility of carriers), Vth (threshold voltage), and λ (the inverse of early voltage). Those parameters were determined to minimize the discrepancies between the measured data and the fitting values, but left kinks located at around (VGS-Vth), which were deliberately eliminated by the Gaussian form because of the agitation of thermal kink effects. The whole fitting was made to be as close as possible to the as-measured IDS-VDS. In the meantime, those determined parameters were physically meaningful after the analysis had been performed.

Introduction: To explore the correlation between the tumour mutation burden (TMB) and prognosis and its clinical significance among patients with stage III gastric cancer (GC). Methods: Patients with stage III GC were divided into a high TMB and low TMB group in both a study cohort of 38 patients and the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) cohort of 173 patients. In the study cohort, next-generation sequencing was used to detect mutated GC genes and obtain TMB data. In the TCGA cohort, gene set enrichment analysis was performed, and the relationship between TMB, prognosis and clinicopathologic factors was analysed. Western blot and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction were used to detect the expression levels of both proteins and genes. Cell viability was measured using methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium and transwell cell assays. Results: Patients in the high TMB group had better overall survival (OS) rates than patients in the low TMB group for both cohorts and TMB was associated with age, mutation signature 1 and mutation signature 17. The Cox regression analysis revealed that age, not TMB, was an independent prognosis factor. Furthermore, genes with high-frequency mutations were significantly enriched in the RTK-RAS and Notch signalling pathways. The activation of these pathways was lower in the high TMB compared with the low TMB group, and the proliferation and migration abilities of GC cells showed a similar pattern in both TMB groups. Conclusion: Patients in the high TMB group had better OS rates than patients in the low TMB group. Genes with high-frequency mutations were significantly enriched in the RTK-RAS and Notch pathways. ObjectiveTo Investigate the cause of a food poisoning incident in a city in Dehong Prefecture， determine the scope of the incident， and to formulate effective prevention and control measures.MethodsField epidemiology and case-control study methods were used to formulate case definition； carry out case search； find suspicious food combined with clinical manifestations， dining history and other information； and collect samples from the suspicious food， cases and environment for laboratory testing.ResultsA total of 160 cases were found and the incidence rate was 26.02% （160/615）. The main clinical manifestations were diarrhea， leukocytosis， vomiting， nausea and abdominal pain. The average incubation period was 10.89±5.09 h， with 2 h as the shortest and 28 h as the longest. The epidemiological curve suggested the point source exposure mode. The results of case-control study showed that eating roast pork with green shoots was an independent risk factor （OR=13.09， 95%CI： 3.26‒52.54）.16 samples were tested by the local CDC laboratory. Proteus mirabilis was detected in two the anal swabs of two patients He and Chen. Both proteus pani and proteus mirabilis were detected in anal swab of patient Zhou and Proteus pani was detected in roast meat. There was no detection of pathogenic bacteria in other samples.ConclusionBased on the field epidemiological investigation and laboratory test results， we conclude that the food poisoning incident is caused by suspected proteus bacteria. We suggest that the market supervision department should strengthen the supervision of local food hygiene； clarify the sampling rights， responsibilities and technical procedures when medical institutions treat patients with foodborne diseases； ensure finding the causes in time； and take effective prevention and control measures to avoid similar food poisoning events.

How different fertilization practices modify soil organic carbon (SOC) sequestration is still unclear. Our study aimed to evaluate the changes in SOC stocks and their physical fractions after 10 years of organic and inorganic fertilization. Five treatments were established under a wheat-maize system in Northern China: control (CK), chemical fertilizer (F), straw plus chemical fertilizer (SF), manure plus chemical fertilizer (MF), and straw and manure plus chemical fertilizer (SMF). The results showed that the SOC sequestration rate at 0–20 cm depth decreased in the following order: SMF (1.36 Mg C/ha/yr) > MF (1.13 Mg C/ha/yr) > SF (0.72 C/ha/yr) > F (0.15 Mg C/ha/yr) > CK (−0.25 Mg C/ha/yr). The values indicated that straw returning and manure application were important measures to achieve the "4 per 1000" target, and the application of manure was a more effective strategy. The high input of chemical fertilizer only maintained the initial SOC level and was not a powerful C-farming practice. A minimum input of 4.93 Mg C/ha/yr was required to keep the initial SOC storage. The SOC associated with small macroaggregate (0.25–2 mm) was the most sensitive indicator for the changes of bulk SOC. In addition, the accumulation of SOC under SMF, MF, and SF treatments mainly occurred in the occluded particulate organic C (oPOC) in small macroaggregates, indicating that the physical protection of macroaggregates played a predominant role in SOC sequestration. The SMF, MF, and SF treatments also displayed higher mineral organic C (mSOC) in soil aggregates than the CK and F treatments. A transformation of oPOC towards the mSOC fraction indicated that exogenous C further shifted into stable C pools under the physical protection of soil aggregates. In conclusion, these findings confirmed the important role of straw returning and manure application in SOC accumulation and stabilization, highlighting that a combination strategy of straw + manure + chemical fertilizer had the best effect.
