Die artikel fokus op Calvyn se besondere rol in die formulering van artikels 2 en 18 van die kerkorde van Dordrecht 1618 en 1619. Hierdie kerkorde word steeds deur ’n groot aantal gereformeerde kerke in die wêreld aanvaar en gebruik. Onderwerpe en probleme wat aangeraak word, sluit vrae in soos die volgende: Wie is verantwoordelik vir die onderrig van Teologie? Is die tradisie geldig dat daar naas die drie dienste van Woordbedienaar, ouderling en diaken ook ’n vierde diens bestaan, naamlik dié van doktor in die Teologie? Kan hierdie tradisie, wat hoofsaaklik op die standpunte van Bucer en Calvyn berus, met die gegewens in die Bybel versoen word? Besondere aandag word aan die volgende aspekte gegee: • Historiese gegewens oor doktor in die Teologie met besondere verwysing na die standpunte en invloed van Calvyn. • ’n Kritiese evaluering van die begronding van die vierde diens op die Bybel. • Die verhouding tussen teologiese opleiding in die konteks van die kerk en/of ’n universiteit. • Besondere aandag word gegee aan die situasie in die Gereformeerde Kerke in Suid-Afrika ten opsigte van die funksionering van hierdie vierde diens. Van die belangrikste konklusies wat gemaak word, is die volgende: die kerk het deur die eeue ’n besondere waardering en respek gehad vir die taak en funksie van die doktore in die Teologie. Dit het inderdaad tot groot seën van die kerke gedien. Calvyn se standpunte het dikwels tot verwarring aanleiding gegee, maar andersyds ook bygedra tot die erkenning van die belangrike funksie of taak wat hierdie vierde diens kerklik verrig. Net so vervul die doktore in die Teologie ’n besondere wetenskaplike rol aan teologiese fakulteite van universiteite. Calvin’s fourth office, the doctor ministry, and article 18 of the church order of Dordrecht 1618 and 1619: A critical reflection. This article focuses on Calvin’s special role in the ecclesiastical formulation of articles 2 and 18 in the church order of Dordrecht 1618 and 1619, which is still retained in a large number of reformed church orders in the reformed fellowship of churches. Topics and issues which are addressed include questions such as: Who is responsible for the teaching of Theology? Is the tradition valid that the doctorial or professorial office in theology exists as a fourth office beside that of ministers, elders and deacons? Is this tradition, which mainly rests on the views of Bucer and Calvin, correct in terms of the Bible? Particular attention to the following aspects is given: • Historical data on the doctor ecclesiae focusing on the views and influence of Calvin. • A critical evaluation of the foundation of the fourth office on the Bible. • The relationship between theological training in the context of a church and/or a university. • A special investigation of the situation within the Reformed Churches in South Africa in this regard. Important conclusions are made, for example that the church through the ages had a very high esteem and respect for the office of the doctor in Theology; that this fourth office is still retained in many reformed churches, with great blessing. Calvin’s views did cause some confusion on the one hand, but on the other hand it contributed to the acknowledgement of the important function the doctors in Theology have on behalf of the church and in the faculties of Theology at universities.

Purpose – Street-level bureaucracy (SLB) has been essential to public administration in executing government policies and shaping public service quality. This paper aims to uncover the knowledge gaps and ongoing challenges to inform future analysis on SLB. Design/methodology/approach – This literature review analyzes the publications on SLB between 1971 and 2023 by using various bibliometric methods, including trend analysis, network co-occurrence, and thematic evolution from 994 journal articles extracted from the Scopus database. Findings – Research on SLB has shifted focus from specific issues such as work efficiency in the early 2000s to broader themes like governance methods, policy implementation, social policy, and public service delivery. This change reflects the adaptation of the field to global challenges and policy evolutions. International collaborations have contributed to the evolution, enriching SLB discourse with cross-cultural insights and comparative analyses. The partnerships have led to innovative strategies and models to address the challenges faced by SLB, enhancing public service delivery and policy implementation. Originality/value – This paper shows the need to integrate the shift in SLB from specific practices to broader administrative themes with the global insights from international collaborations. In underrepresented regions, such as Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, research is suggested to enrich the global understanding of SLB.

This research is aimed at examining the relationship between religion-science compatibility belief (RSCB) and evidence-based policy (EBP) belief and implementation in Indonesia, a country with the biggest Muslim population in the world. A dataset containing responses to a questionnaire completed by 499 government officials in Indonesia was collected for the partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). This study finds a relationship between RSCB and EBP belief and implementation. In addition, EBP belief also affected the implementation of EBP. The effect that RSCB has on EBP implementation was partially mediated by EBP belief. Studying how these beliefs relate to the attitude of policy makers toward science in a sociocultural context is important, considering that the focus of previous research is on different contexts pertaining to levels of education, industrialization, wealth, and democratization. This is important to encourage a more comprehensive understanding of the public about science globally. This study responds to the need for the literature to examine factors influencing EBP beliefs and implementation at the individual level in non-health contexts and developing countries.

This study investigated the Musi Banyuasin Regency Government’s role as a regional actor in international affairs. Regional governments can develop the region and affect the regional economy thanks to paradiplomacy, one of the phenomena in international relations that seeks to involve international relations actors. This research was grounded in the paradiplomacy theory proposed by Pertti Joenniemi and Alexander Sergunin. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method, aiming to provide a general overview of the subject of study by using data collected in their raw form without applying any analysis and drawing any pertinent conclusions. Primary data were collected from the Musi Banyuasin Regency Government. In contrast, secondary data came from the Musi Banyuasin Regency Government’s official website and news articles discussing the research subject. Following the findings, the Government of Musi Banyuasin Regency fulfilled its role as an international relations actor by implementing paradiplomatic methods such as promoting a positive image of the region through participation in international forums, joining international organizations, and collaborating with them.

This study attempts to evaluate the extent of the relationship between small, micro and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the banking sector in executing economic development strategies in the Covid-19 epidemic era. A qualitative method using a case study approach is utilized to see the link between MSMEs and the banking sector in this study. The research was done in Palembang City with informants from Rural Banks (BPR), Palembang City Government, and MSME actors who issued loans to BPRs. This study indicates that there is a good interaction between BPR, Palembang City Government, and MSME actors in executing economic development strategies in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The assistance given by BPR and the City Government can allow MSMEs to tackle numerous challenges in the middle of a pandemic. Previous study has not often explored the interaction between the three stakeholders (MSMEs, Regional Governments, and the Banking Sector) in economic recovery in the age of the Covid-19 epidemic. Whereas the support offered to MSMEs might stimulate economic activity in a region.

Introduction: Bengkulu is located on an active collision zone between two tectonic plates, namely the Eurasian Plate and the Indo-Australian Plate. As the result, earthquakes, floods, landslides, and tidal waves are common in Bengkulu. Sepang Bay is part of Bengkulu Province adjacent to the ocean, making it vulnerable to earthquakes and tsunamis. This study aims to examine the relationship between the residential environment and natural disaster preparedness in Sepang Bay, Bengkulu Regency. Methods: The type of research used is analytical observation with cross-sectional design. Data are collected from interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation from a total of 100 respondents selected by proportional random selection from each neighborhood in Sepang Bay Village, based on the proportion of heads of family in each neighborhood. Results and Discussion: When an earthquake occurs, there is a relationship between the residential environment and the community’s preparedness. As the existing supporting infrastructure is not properly utilized, people who live in substandard settlements do not have adequate equipment to deal with seismic disasters. When an earthquake occurs, there is a relationship between the settlement environment and the community’s preparedness. Because the existing supporting infrastructure is not being used properly, people who live in poor settlements have poor preparedness as well. Conclusion: The Sepang Bay Village Community, Bengkulu, which is located along the Panjang Beach, found a relationship between the settlement environment and earthquake preparedness (p = 0.021, PR 2.127).

This study aims to identify the relationship between the village head and the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in the use of village funds in the village of Karang Jaya, Namlea District, and explain the influence on the development of village communities. The problem is focused on the use of village funds which should be a stimulus for development in each village, but, in management, there are often problems that hinder village development. This study seeks to see and get deeper into the relationship that has been built between the village head and the BPD in the village of Karang Jaya. The approach used in this study uses a qualitative approach. The number of informants who will be interviewed is 15 people taken purposively, considering that respondents are regarded as related parties to achieve the research objectives. Researchers used observational data collection techniques and in-depth interviews to obtain data on the implementation of the village fund program. The analysis technique used in this research is qualitative data analysis following the concepts given by Miles and Huberman, and Spradley. This study concludes that the parallel relationship pattern between the BPD and the village head in the management of the village government as regulated in the legislation, it turns out that in its implementation, there is enough response so that the working relationship becomes harmonious and leads to a pattern of cooperation and shows a tendency to share tasks that are parallel between the heads. The purpose of this study is to establish a relationship between the village head and the village consultative body in Ubung, Buru Regency. The research problem is focused on the collaboration between the village head and the village consultative body in containing the spread of Covid-19 in Ubung. The study employed a qualitative approach, with a total of twenty informants chosen at random. This study was conducted in the village of Ubung, with informants including village officials, members of the Village Consultative Body, representatives of community leaders, traditional leaders, and religious leaders, as well as community representatives considered to possess competencies relevant to the research objectives. This study collects data about the partnership relationship through observation and in-depth interviews. The analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis under Miles, Huberman, and Spradley's concepts. This study concludes that the village is extremely responsive in planning and implementing the management of Covid-19, making it easier for the community to be involved. The village side also adjusts to the existing conditions to carry out the control of Covid-19, specifically by conducting analysis and identification to decipher the program of activities that will be planned in collaboration with the Village Consultative Body. In the division of Village Consultative Body tasks, the village government prioritizes development sector implementation and public awareness, while the village government focuses more on-field segmentation planning.

African Divine Church (ADC) is an African Instituted Church affiliated to the Organisation of the African Instituted Churches, which shapes African Instituted Churches’ (AICs’) theology through theological education. ADC has both lived, and sung-narrated theology and it originated from the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, hence Pentecostal with experiential undertones. Selected leaders of ADC in Vihiga County contributed to the study. The de-emphasised place of Christ was investigated to establish his place in ADC’s Trinitarian and missional Theology. The study articulated theological principles regarding Trinitarian ecclesiology, to assist the ADC in reworking its Christology. The historical approach of the early church, medieval, reformation, and modern periods regarding the place of Christ as the second person of the Triune God were investigated, to formulate guidelines for a paradigm shift in understanding the place of Christ in Trinitarian ecclesiology and the missional community that ADC may use in reworking its Trinitarian Mission. The study employed a mixed-method that followed three steps, namely interviews, questionnaires and observation. The study population was determined through purposive sampling. A coding method safeguarded the identity and confidentiality of participants. The results were classified as historical, practical and theological. ADC derived its name from John 15:1–17 through meditation, vision and revelation. The colours red, white and green symbolise its mission and growth, while its experiential and charismatic liturgy was derived from 1 Samuel 6:1–4, with evidence of hermeneutical deficiency. Theological findings included the undeveloped relationship between God and ecclesial mission, emphasis on the Holy Spirit, healing, and prophecy with a lessened place of Christ in the Trinitarian mission, as well as the blend of ancestorology with Christology that threatens the hypostatic Christology and Trinitarian economy. The study implied a call for reworking hermeneutics, Trinitarian theology, and reconstructing the relationship between God’s mission and that of the Church and a reworked Christology, distinctive from ancestorology. Contribution: African Divine Church’s narrative theology is exposed especially the Trinitarian mission to a constructive critique and further study. It has advanced mixed-method in progressing narrative inquiry as an alternative methodology.

Kinerja tenaga kesehatan yang baik akan berdampak pada kualitas pelayanan pemeriksaan pada ibu hamil, termasuk kinerja bidan sebagai penyedia pelayanan kesehatan maternal dan neonatal.. Apabila proses kehamilan, persalinan dan nifas dapat dilalui oleh seorang perempuan dengan aman, maka Angka Kematian Ibu di Indonesia dapat ditekan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang memoengaruhi kepatuhan bidan terhadap standar pelayanan Antenatal diKota Palembang. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan data cross sectional dengan populasi bidan di Kota Palembang sebanyak 270 orang sedangkan sampelnya menggunakan proportional stratified random sampling jumlah sampel 126 bidan di kota palembang. Pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan ceklis tentang standar pelayanan Antenatal. Data dianalisis dengan uji regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian dengan uji regresi linier berganda variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepatuhan bidan terhadap standar pelayanan Antenatal adalah usia dan masa kerja. Kekuatan hubungan dapat dilihat dari nilai OR (Exp B). Kekuatan hubungan yang terbesar ke yang terkecil adalah usia (OR = 9,270), masa kerja (OR = 6,387)., persamaan regresi didapatkan bahwa probabilitas terhadap ketidakpatuhan bidan dalam standar pelayanan ANC adalah 70,72%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap, motivasi usia dan amasa kerja terhadap standar pelayanan Antenatal dan tidak ada hubungan antara pelatihan dengan standar pelayanan antenatal. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah agar dapat digunakan untuk melakukan penelitian lanjutan tentang pelaksanaan standar pelayanan Antenatal.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE JNJ-26070109 [(R)4-bromo-N-[1-(2,4-difluoro-phenyl)-ethyl]-2-(quinoxaline-5-sulfonylamino)-benzamide] is a novel antagonist at cholecystokinin CCK2 receptors with good pharmacokinetic properties and represents a novel mechanism for the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD). The purpose of the present study was to determine whether chronic treatment with JNJ-26070109 could prevent, as well as treat, acid rebound in rats. EXPERIMENTAL APPROACH A chronic fistula was surgically inserted into the stomach of rats to enable the measurement of acid secretion under basal, pentagastrin and histamine-stimulated conditions. JNJ-26070109 and omeprazole were administered separately and in combination. KEY RESULTS Sustained administration of omeprazole alone and in combination with JNJ-26070109 inhibited gastric acid secretion by >90%. However, 3 days after withdrawing treatment, there was a rebound hypersecretion by ∼1.5-fold in omeprazole-treated animals. No such acid rebound was observed with JNJ-26070109 alone or with co-administration of JNJ-26070109 and omeprazole. The anti-trophic effects of JNJ-26070109 in the gastric mucosal paralleled the effects on acid rebound. Administration of JNJ-26070109 for 3 days after cessation of omeprazole prevented the occurrence of acid rebound. Interestingly, chronic, but not acute, treatment with JNJ-26070109 also inhibited histamine-stimulated acid secretion. CONCLUSIONS AND IMPLICATIONS Chronic administration of JNJ-26070109 effectively inhibited gastric acid secretion and suppressed proton pump inhibitor (PPI)-induced acid rebound in the rat. This work advances the field by demonstrating that modest doses of a competitive CCK2 receptor antagonist have significant and functionally important anti-trophic actions in the gastric mucosa. Hospital as one of health public services institution on delivering health services supported by multidiscipline professions that have diversity of personality. Personality is one of factor contributed in triggering interpersonal conflict at workplace. There are five interpersonal conflict managements commonly used, namely ; integrating, obliging, dominating, avoiding dan compromising. Research was conducted on March 2015 at Eye Specialist Hospital South Sumatera Province which 75 respondens as samples of the reaserch. The objectives of this reaserch to explore differences among type A and B personality toward interpersonal conflict management in the hospital. Cross Sectional Study as design of the reaserch with Manova and Post Hoc test analyisis. From this reaserch found that type A personality is dominant personality of employee, and dominant interpersonal conflict management is integrating style. Based on the risult of Post Hoc analysis shown that significant difference between type A and B personality towrad management conflict of interpersonal found on obliging style with P value 0,000 < 0,05, for other management conflict style was not found.

Purpose: This article evaluates a possible global nuclear renaissance in the provision of electrical energy. Problem investigated: Several countries, such as South Africa, are experiencing problems in the provision of electricity and the maintenance of the infrastructure to answer growing demand. This article investigates an alternative, which was popular in the 1970s and provides clean energy. Methodology: The study firstly evaluates the main arguments set by anti-nuclear activists critically. It concerns negative public sentiment, human life and environmental endangerment, alternative energy, cost effectiveness and waste disposal concerns. The study focuses on the cost of nuclear power, as the benefits of electricity are assumed homogeneous. The second part of the article reports on an empirical cost-benefit analysis conducted by the authors to estimate the value and likeliness of a nuclear renaissance. Findings and implications: The empirical analysis indicated that nuclear energy is mostly cost-efficient. The research shows that there might be a slight increase in the use of nuclear power-producing technologies in future. Originality and value of the research: This study makes a positive contribution to the electrical power and nuclear energy debate. It assesses the possibility of a nuclear renaissance objectively. The environment, global energy shortage and different cost structures of various modes of energy production were considered. Conclusion: The study concluded that a nuclear renaissance is possible, but that despite the advantages to costs and the environment, this would not yet be statistically significant enough to cause a nuclear renaissance.

Die artikel het op die belangrikheid en noodsaaklikheid van ‘n hermeneutiek vir die gereformeerde kerkreg gefokus. Die kerkregtelike dokument wat besonderlik ter sake was, is die kerkorde van die Gereformeerde kerke in Suid-Afrika, met sy besondere band met die Dordtse kerkorde van 1618 en 1619. Agtereenvolgens is aandag gegee aan die volgende aspekte soos (1) die eiesoortige aard van ‘n kerkorde as ‘n teologiese dokument en teks, in onderskeiding van regsdokumente; (2) die aard van die hermeneutiek van kerkreg; (3) enkele teorieë oor die interpretasie of uitleg van tekste, veral regstekste en (4) normatiewe vooronderstellings en reëls vir die interpretasie en verstaan van die teks en artikels van die kerkorde asook besluite van kerklike vergaderinge. Die gevolgtrekking was dat weinig indringende navorsing gedoen is oor die saak van hermeneutiek vir kerkreg, hoewel dit noodsaaklik is. Duidelike hermeneutiese reëls is gesuggereer en verduidelik, wat sou kon meehelp dat kerke en kerklike vergaderinge die artikels van die kerkorde asook besluite en reglemente wat daarop berus het, kan interpreteer en toepas. The hermeneutics of reformed church polity. The article focused on the importance and urgency of a design for reformed hermeneutics on church polity. The Church Order referred to in the article is the Church Order of the Reformed Churches in South Africa, which are closely related to the Church Order of Dordt of 1618 and 1619. The following aspects received attention namely (1) the unique character of a Church Order, in comparison to and distinguished from legal documents and statutes; (2) the character and nature of hermeneutics of church polity; (3) theories of interpretation in the common law tradition and their relevance to church polity and (4) normative presuppositions and marks for the interpretation and understanding of the text and articles of the Church Order, as well as the resolutions of church assemblies. It was found that minimum research has been done on the topic of hermeneutics for reformed church polity. This contribution was an effort to suggest and explain a number of hermeneutical principles and guidelines, which may serve and encourage churches and assemblies to interpret, utilise and apply the Church Order in an adequate and responsible way.
