This paper introduced the design and application of patient wristband with post-it label for identification of infectious diseases. This wristband is easy to use, with a post-it label which can stick to the wristband, helping nurses indentify the disease condition of the patient and carry out following prevention to reduce the risk of infection. Furthermore, the application of wristband with post-it label can protect patient privacy. This review summarizes commonly used hospital-based healthcare quality evaluation systems at home and abroad, and focuses on evaluation indicators regarding patient safety. Through the comparative analysis between different evaluation systems, it tries to shed light on China’s healthcare quality evaluation system, especially the indicators related to patient safety.
