[Abstract] In the development of pictorial representations, young children first make scribbles and then diagrams, combines, and aggregates. In these stages, through real experiences with the emotional and physical development as well as the accumulation of experiences in living, children independently explore and develop self-awareness and ability to think and express something. This paper considers the development of expressions and the involvement of young children in drawing activities by analyzing their graphical representations that show the transition from the combine through aggregate stages, where children experimentally make combinations of the line and shape patterns they have acquired to actively attempt to create designs.[要約] 表象画の発達は、スクリブルからダイアグラム〈単体図〉を経てコンバイン〈結合図〉、アグリゲイト〈集合図〉へと移行し、心身の発達、生活体験の広がりとともに実体験を通して自己の認識、思考、表現への探索と構築が主体的に進められる。本論では、コンバイン〈結合図〉からアグリゲイト〈集合図〉への移行が表れる幼児表象画の作品分析から、これまで獲得した描画形態を実験的に構成し、新しいデザインへの試みが意欲的に展開されるこの時期の表現の発達と、子どもの描画へのかかわりについて考察する。, 著者主要担当科目：幼児と造形表現, 造形表現（指導法）, 絵画の発達

[Abstract] During the development of children’s drawing, children acquire an ability to draw a variety of lines and shapes, which form the basis of drawing, during the scribble period, and their drawings transition to the diagram stage, as a result of their experience and memory so accumulated. On the basis of the analysis of the process of transition from the scribble stage and drawings showing characteristics of diagrams, this paper considers how one should understand and support expressions through drawings of diagrams by children, who express themselves in diverse individual ways as their mind and body develop and as their activities such as everyday playing and communication with others expand. [Abstruct]Actual experience of drawing in the scribble period in the developmental history of an infant’s representational drawing behavior, which starts at age 0, can be said to be the most important period for a child, who develops through interactions with every aspect of the world through drawing, to develop rich expressions spontaneously and proceed with his or her developmental process at his or her own timing. [Abstruct]Drawing is an important expressive activity for children who develop by exploring the spontaneous drawing experience that reoccurs in everyday playing and their expression that fosters physical and psychological development, thinking, motivation, and creativity. Painting and arts and crafts activities in early childhood are important expressive activities for the sound physical and psychological development of children and to foster their power of expression and creativity.This paper clarifies the characteristics of developmental stages of children as well as the influences of the environment and human relationships on their work by reviewing works created by two children in a longitudinal manner from the ages of three to six. The practical class "Arts and Crafts Expression (instruction method)" sets two tasks relating to a point which is the smallest element for expression. Task 1 Express an abstract theme using points within a limited area. Draw lines between the points to identify the shape of an animal. Task 2 Use the points of the smallest element to create a cubic effect and spatiality.
