Due to budget and sensor technology constraints, a single sensor cannot simultaneously provide observational images with both a high spatial and temporal resolution. To solve the above problem, the spatiotemporal fusion (STF) method was proposed and proved to be an indispensable tool for monitoring land surface dynamics. There are relatively few systematic reviews of the STF method. Bibliometrics is a valuable method for analyzing the scientific literature, but it has not yet been applied to the comprehensive analysis of the STF method. Therefore, in this paper, we use bibliometrics and scientific mapping to analyze the 2967 citation data from the Web of Science from 1991 to 2023 in a metrological manner, covering the themes of STF, data fusion, multi-temporal analysis, and spatial analysis. The results of the literature analysis reveal that the number of articles displays a slow to rapid increase during the study period, but decreases significantly in 2023. Research institutions in China (1059 papers) and the United States (432 papers) are the top two contributors in the field. The keywords "Sentinel", "deep learning" (DL), and "LSTM" (Long Short-Term Memory) appeared most frequently in the past three years. In the future, remote sensing spatiotemporal fusion research can address more of the limitations of heterogeneous landscapes and climatic conditions to improve fused images' accuracy. Background: With potential of deep learning in musculoskeletal image interpretation being explored, this paper focuses on the common site of rotator cuff tears, the supraspinatus. It aims to propose and validate a deep learning model to automatically extract the supraspinatus, verifying its superiority through comparison with several classical image segmentation models. Method: Imaging data were retrospectively collected from 60 patients who underwent inpatient treatment for rotator cuff tears at a hospital between March 2021 and May 2023. A dataset of the supraspinatus from MRI was constructed after collecting, filtering, and manually annotating at the pixel level. This paper proposes a novel A-DAsppUnet network that can automatically extract the supraspinatus after training and optimization. The analysis of model performance is based on three evaluation metrics: precision, intersection over union, and Dice coefficient. Results: The experimental results demonstrate that the precision, intersection over union, and Dice coefficients of the proposed model are 99.20%, 83.38%, and 90.94%, respectively. Furthermore, the proposed model exhibited significant advantages over the compared models. Conclusion: The designed model in this paper accurately extracts the supraspinatus from MRI, and the extraction results are complete and continuous with clear boundaries. The feasibility of using deep learning methods for musculoskeletal extraction and assisting in clinical decision-making was verified. Handwriting is a biometric behavioral characteristic with evident individual distinctiveness. With the rise of the deep learning trend and demands for forensic identification, handwriting identification has become one of the focal points of research in the field of pattern recognition. Research in handwriting identification for major global languages has matured. However, in China, there is limited attention in the field of writer identification for minority languages such as Mongolian, making it challenging to resolve criminal cases involving handwriting issues. This paper initiates an initial exploration of Mongolian handwriting identification by constructing a structurally simple convolutional neural network. This convolutional neural network, consisting of 12 convolution operations and designed for Mongolian handwriting identification, is referred to as MWInet-12. In this paper, the model evaluation experiments were conducted using a dataset comprising 156,372 samples contributed by 125 writers from the MOLHW dataset. The dataset was divided into training, validation, and test sets in an 8:1:1 ratio. The final results of the experiments reveal impressive accuracy on the test set, achieving a top-1 accuracy of 89.60% and a top-5 accuracy of 97.53%. Furthermore, through comparative experiments involving Resnet50, Fragnet, GRRNN, VGG16, and VGG19 models, this paper establishes that the proposed model yields the most favorable results for Mongolian handwriting identification. The exploratory research on Mongolian handwriting identification in this paper contributes to increasing awareness of information processing for minority languages. Blueberries have high nutritional and economic value and are easy to cultivate, so they are common fruit crops in China. There is a high demand for blueberry in domestic and foreign markets, and various technologies have been used to extend the supply cycle of blueberry to about 7 months. However, blueberry grows in clusters, and a cluster of fruits generally contains fruits of different degrees of maturity, which leads to low efficiency in manually picking mature fruits, and at the same time wastes a lot of manpower and material resources. Therefore, in order to improve picking efficiency, it is necessary to adopt an automated harvesting mode. However, an accurate maturity detection model can provide a prerequisite for automated harvesting technology. Therefore, this paper proposes a blueberry ripeness detection model based on enhanced detail feature and content-aware reassembly. First of all, this paper designs an EDFM (Enhanced Detail Feature Module) that improves the ability of detail feature extraction so that the model focuses on important features such as blueberry color and texture, which improves the model's ability to extract blueberry features. Second, by adding the RFB (Receptive Field Block) module to the model, the lack of the model in terms of receptive field can be improved, and the calculation amount of the model can be reduced at the same time. Then, by using the Space-to-depth operation to redesign the MP (MaxPool) module, a new MP-S (MaxPool–Space to depth) module is obtained, which can effectively learn more feature information. Finally, an efficient upsampling method, the CARAFE (Content-Aware Reassembly of Features) module, is used, which can aggregate contextual information within a larger receptive field to improve the detection performance of the model. In order to verify the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper, experiments were carried out on the self-made dataset "Blueberry—Five Datasets" which consists of data on five different maturity levels of blueberry with a total of 10,000 images. Experimental results show that the mAP (mean average precision) of the proposed network reaches 80.7%, which is 3.2% higher than that of the original network, and has better performance than other existing target detection network models. Simple Summary: In the sorting process of Chinese softshell turtles, it is necessary to classify them based on their weight and accurately identify their plastron and carapace. This process requires heavy manual labor and complex mechanical processing methods. To improve processing efficiency and reduce costs, this article introduces machine vision technology, and a new image processing method is proposed. This method can estimate the weight of Chinese softshell turtles and accurately locate the positions of their plastron and carapace. The automation level of aquaculture can be greatly enhanced, and hardware costs can be reduced through software optimization through this approach. With the rapid development of the turtle breeding industry in China, the demand for automated turtle sorting is increasing. The automatic sorting of Chinese softshell turtles mainly consists of three parts: visual recognition, weight prediction, and individual sorting. This paper focuses on two aspects, i.e., visual recognition and weight prediction, and a novel method for the object detection and weight prediction of Chinese softshell turtles is proposed. In the individual sorting process, computer vision technology is used to estimate the weight of Chinese softshell turtles and classify them by weight. For the visual recognition of the body parts of Chinese softshell turtles, a color space model is proposed in this paper to separate the turtles from the background effectively. By applying multiple linear regression analysis for modeling, the relationship between the weight and morphological parameters of Chinese softshell turtles is obtained, which can be used to estimate the weight of turtles well. An improved deep learning object detection network is used to extract the features of the plastron and carapace of the Chinese softshell turtles, achieving excellent detection results. As the fastest-growing crowdfunding model, equity crowdfunding (ECF) brings high returns and uncertainty. In this context, it is crucial to understand these crowdfunding projects' actual performance. Since ECF is currently in the early stage of integration, there are still a lot of risk issues, such as the uncertainty of equity structure, capital supervision, or project management. Therefore, this paper develops a new profitability indicator, "return on registered capital," to test its impact on the ECF project's actual return. This paper studies which factors affect the financial performance of ECF projects through the traditional statistical model and a deep neural network (DNN) model. There is evidence that return on registered capital affects the actual return of the project. At the same time, the company's operating time and the number of employees had an unexpected effect on project performance. In addition, the recognition accuracy of the DNN model in this study exceeds 97%, which affirms the applicability of the DNN model in the analysis of ECF success factors. This paper aims to develop a new model of Project-Based Instructional Taxonomy (PBIT) that provides a tool of course design that facilitates Computational Thinking (CT) development as creative action in solving real-life problems. Theoretically, PBIT is built on an integrative framework bringing together with studies on CT education, creativity, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Project-Based Instruction (PBI). This guides the course design to make alignment between diverse elements including education objectives, categories of CT, levels of learning ability, process of project facilitation, and methods of grading. A case will be discussed that focuses on a course Deep Learning and Technologies in AI bachelor program at Northeastern University (NEU) in China. It also shows how PBIT is applied in teaching practice that benefits students' CT development. Existing macroeconomic forecasting methods primarily focus on the characteristics of economic data, but they overlook the energy-related features concealed behind these economic characteristics, which may lead to inaccurate GDP predictions. Therefore, this paper meticulously analyzes the relationship between energy big data and economic data indicators, explores the coupling feature mining of energy big data and economic data, and constructs features coupling economic and energy data. Targeting the nonlinear variation coupling features in China's quarterly GDP data and using the long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network model based on deep learning, we employ wavelet analysis technology (WA) to decompose selected macroeconomic variables and construct a prediction model combining LSTM and WA, which is further compared with multiple benchmark models. The research findings show that, in terms of quarterly GDP data prediction, the combined deep learning model and wavelet analysis significantly outperform other methods. When processing structurally complex, nonlinear, and multi-variable data, the LSTM and WA combined prediction model demonstrate better generalization capabilities, with its prediction accuracy generally surpassing other benchmark models. The rapid expansion of metro networks, e.g., in many cities of China, continuously introduces the operation of new stations every year. Due to the lack of historical data and complicate variations of short-term passenger flow in the early stage of operation, it is difficult to accurately predict inbound and outbound passenger flows of new metro stations in the short term, which would be the database for train scheduling for new stations before operation, dynamic capacity optimization for new stations under operation, short-term prediction of cycle sharing demands near new stations, and so on. Traditional methods usually failed to exactly reflect the complicate rules or were unusable without the new station's historical data. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes a short-term inbound and outbound passenger flow prediction model for new metro stations at the early stage of operation by combining the K-means clustering algorithm, an improved spatiotemporal long short-term memory model (Sp-LSTM), and a real-time feedback error model (mean absolute error, MAE), where passenger flows' spatial-temporal characteristics and land-use relevance are considered. The application in Guangzhou Metro, China, where Line 21 is regarded as a new line, shows that the proposed K-Sp-LSTM model has the best prediction accuracy compared with traditional methods. The mining of open pit mines is widespread in China, and there are many cases of landslide accidents. Therefore, the problem of slope stability is highlighted. The stability of the slope is a factor that directly affects the mining efficiency and the safety of the entire mining process. According to the statistics, there is a 15 percent chance of finding landslide risk in China's large-scale mines. And due to the expansion of the mining scale of the enterprise, the problem of slope stability has become increasingly obvious, which has become a major subject in the study of open-pit mine engineering. In order to better predict the slope stability coefficient, this study takes a mine in China as a case to deeply discuss the accuracy of different algorithms in the stability calculation, and then uses a deep learning algorithm to study the stability under rainfall conditions. The change of the coefficient and the change of the stability coefficient before and after the slope treatment are experimentally studied with the displacement of the monitoring point. The result shows that the safety coefficient calculated by the algorithm in this paper is about 7% lower than that of the traditional algorithm. In the slope stability analysis before treatment, the safety factor calculated by the algorithm in this paper is 1.086, and the algorithm in this paper is closer to reality. In the stability analysis of the slope after treatment, the safety factor calculated by the algorithm in this paper is 1.227, and the stability factor meets the requirements of the specification. In China, table tennis has always been one of the most popular sports, with small field restrictions and it is simple and fun to play. But what is unknown is that with China's major table tennis events thriving, the psychological pressure of table tennis players' training is also increasing. However, the existing training methods obviously do not pay enough attention to psychological training, and there is no complete system for psychological training. Although the current dynamic heart rate measurement method can play a certain role in the detection, there is still the disadvantage of low detection accuracy. The heart rate is an important sign of life, and the monitoring of the heart rate of table tennis players should be strengthened, reflecting the functional state of the athletes' heart, and facilitating the more intuitive adjustment of the psychological training method of athletes. The heart rate measurement method based on face recognition contains a plate content that is rich. Through deep learning face recognition, the heart rate measurement method has high calculation efficiency, can effectively eliminate the influence of other external environmental factors, can use video recording, and can use face recognition and physiological parameters' quantification to monitor athletes' heart rate changes in real time; the visible artificial intelligence auxiliary diagnosis potential is huge. To this end, this paper aims to provide effective suggestions for the psychological training of table tennis players with deep learning as the technical support. In response to this, the aim of this paper was to design a deep learning-based face recognition heart rate measurement method that judges the psychological fluctuations of athletes through changes in heart rate. We conducted a questionnaire survey with the table tennis players of the Hunan team as the object of investigation, so as to understand the source of the psychological pressure of athletes and make reasonable suggestions. The experimental results of this paper show that the heart rate error of the video heart rate measurement algorithm is within 3% in the calm state and within 4% in the post-exercise state. Background: Lung cancer is one of the cancers with the highest mortality rate in China. With the rapid development of high-throughput sequencing technology and the research and application of deep learning methods in recent years, deep neural networks based on gene expression have become a hot research direction in lung cancer diagnosis in recent years, which provide an effective way of early diagnosis for lung cancer. Thus, building a deep neural network model is of great significance for the early diagnosis of lung cancer. However, the main challenges in mining gene expression datasets are the curse of dimensionality and imbalanced data. The existing methods proposed by some researchers can't address the problems of high-dimensionality and imbalanced data, because of the overwhelming number of variables measured (genes) versus the small number of samples, which result in poor performance in early diagnosis for lung cancer. Method: Given the disadvantages of gene expression data sets with small datasets, high-dimensionality and imbalanced data, this paper proposes a gene selection method based on KL divergence, which selects some genes with higher KL divergence as model features. Then build a deep neural network model using Focal Loss as loss function, at the same time, we use k-fold cross validation method to verify and select the best model, we set the value of k is five in this paper. Result: The deep learning model method based on KL divergence gene selection proposed in this paper has an AUC of 0.99 on the validation set. The generalization performance of model is high. In recent years, China's economy has been developing rapidly, and people's life and quality of life have been improving; more importantly, people's habits and living habits have also developed from the previous "unhygienic" and "not very careful" to the current "Healthier, more hygienic, greener and more sophisticated" direction. In the process of this development, due to the rapid development of the economy and the industrialization of cities, the incidence of heart disease is also increasing year by year. According to relevant studies, China's urbanization process has been unprecedented, the number of urbanized people in China has exploded in recent years, and the ratio of urban to rural population has increased from about 20 percent to about 75 percent today. The effects of the population and the urbanization of urban architecture are affecting people's physical and mental health, both consciously and unconsciously, causing both positive and negative physical and mental effects on the psychological and physical levels. In this paper, the concept of deep learning is fully utilized to train the CNN neural network model and apply it to the ECG abnormality recognition and prediction examination. In order to fully validate the application and significance of deep learning in ECG abnormality identification and prediction, the whole project was completed through subjective and objective experiments. The experimental results show that, from the subjective aspect, the ECG examination has been accepted by most people for different age groups, and the analysis results of the ECG examination with the deep learning model in this paper are more satisfactory; from the objective aspect, the CNN-ECG abnormality recognition prediction network model trained in this paper has high. The accuracy of the model for ECG abnormality recognition prediction can reach 86% when the learning rate is set to 0.0001 and the batch size is set to 120, and the model can reduce the burden of medical personnel to a certain extent. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence in recent years, intelligent evaluation of college students' growth by means of the monitoring data from training processes is becoming a promising technique in the field intelligent education. Current studies, however, tend to utilize course grades, which are objective, to predict students' grade-point averages (GPAs), but usually neglect subjective factors like psychological resilience. To solve this problem, this paper takes mechanical engineering as the research object, and proposes a new machine-learning-driven GPA prediction approach to evaluate the academic performance of engineering students by incorporating psychological evaluation data into basic course scores. Specifically, this paper adopts SCL-90 psychological assessment data collected in the freshman year, including key mental health indicators such as somatization, depression, hostility, and interpersonal sensitivity indicators, as well as professional basic course scores, including mechanical principles, mechanical design, advanced mathematics, and engineering drawing. Four representative machine learning algorithms, Support Vector Machine (SVM), CNN-CBAM, Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) and Classification and Regression Tree (CART) that include deep and shallow models, respectively, are then employed to build a classification model for GPA prediction. This paper designs a validation experiment by tracking 229 students from the 2020 class from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Henan University of Science and Technology, China. The students' academic performance in senior grades is divided into five classes to use as the prediction labels. It is verified that psychological data and course data can be effectively integrated into GPA prediction for college students, with an accuracy rate of 83.64%. Meanwhile, this paper also reveals that anxiety indicators in the psychological assessment data have the greatest impact on college students' academic performance, followed by interpersonal sensitivity. The experimental results also show that, for predicting junior year GPAs, psychological factors play more important role than they do in predicting sophomore GPAs. Suggestions are therefore given: the current practice in existing undergraduate teaching, i.e., only conducting psychological assessments in the initial freshman year, should be updated by introducing follow-up psychological assessments in each academic year. After many years of exploitation in the petroleum field, most of the oil fields are in advanced stages of development, with a strong non-homogeneity of the reservoir, more residual oil, and low recovery efficiency. Therefore, research on various methods has been carried out by scholars to improve the rate of recovery and to understand the distribution pattern of residual oil in reservoirs. Among the whole clastic reservoirs, fluvial reservoirs occupy a large proportion, so fluvial reservoirs will be the priority for future reservoir research in China. The key to the fine characterization of fluvial-phase reservoirs is to able to reproduce the continuous curvature of the channel, and one important parameter is the width of the channel. The width of the channel sand body is one of the key factors in designing well programs, and accurately identifying the channel boundary is the key to identifying a single channel. Traditional research methods cannot accurately characterize the continuous bending and oscillating morphology of underwater diversion channels, and it is not easy to quantitatively characterize the spatial structure. Therefore, in this paper, a deep learning method is applied to quantitatively identify the width of a single channel within an underwater diversion channel at the delta front edge. Based on the sedimentary background of the block and modern depositional studies, we established candidate models for underwater diversion channels with channel widths of 100, 130, 160, 190, 220, and 250 m based on target simulation and human–computer interactions. The results show that when the width of the underwater diversion channel is 160 m, it has the highest matching rate with the conditional data and corresponds to the actual situation. Therefore, it can be determined that it is the common width of underwater diversion channel in the study area. And it is shown that the method can accurately identify the width of underwater diversion channels, and the results provide a basis for reservoir fine characterization studies. Objectives: The purpose of this research is to summarize the structure of radiomics-based knowledge and to explore potential trends and priorities by using bibliometric analysis. Methods: Select radiomics-related publications from 2012 to October 2022 from the Science Core Collection Web site. Use VOSviewer (version 1.6.18), CiteSpace (version 6.1.3), Tableau (version 2022), Microsoft Excel and Rstudio's free online platforms (http://bibliometric.com) for co-writing, co-citing, and co-occurrence analysis of countries, institutions, authors, references, and keywords in the field. The visual analysis is also carried out on it. Results: The study included 6428 articles. Since 2012, there has been an increase in research papers based on radiomics. Judging by publications, China has made the largest contribution in this area. We identify the most productive institutions and authors as Fudan University and Tianjie. The top three magazines with the most publications are《FRONTIERS IN ONCOLOGY》, 《EUROPEAN RADIOLOGY》, and 《CANCERS》. According to the results of reference and keyword analysis, "deep learning, nomogram, ultrasound, f-18-fdg, machine learning, covid-19, radiogenomics" has been determined as the main research direction in the future. Conclusion: Radiomics is in a phase of vigorous development with broad prospects. Cross-border cooperation between countries and institutions should be strengthened in the future. It can be predicted that the development of deep learning-based models and multimodal fusion models will be the focus of future research. With the advent of the era of big data and information technology, deep learning (DL) has become a hot trend in the research field of artificial intelligence (AI). The use of deep learning methods for parameter inversion, disease identification, detection, surrounding rock classification, disaster prediction, and other tunnel engineering problems has also become a new trend in recent years, both domestically and internationally. This paper consists of a bibliometric study that covers the topic of 3D object detection from 2022 until the present day. It employs various analysis approaches that shed light on the leading authors, affiliations, and countries within this research domain alongside the main themes of interest related to it. The findings revealed that China is the leading country in this domain given the fact that it is responsible for most of the scientific literature as well as being a host for the most productive universities and authors in terms of the number of publications. China is also responsible for initiating a significant number of collaborations with various nations around the world. The most basic theme related to this field is deep learning, along with autonomous driving, point cloud, robotics, and LiDAR. Photovoltaic (PV) power generation is booming in rural areas, not only to meet the energy needs of local farmers but also to provide additional power to urban areas. Existing methods for estimating the spatial distribution of PV power generation potential either have low accuracy and rely on manual experience or are too costly to be applied in rural areas. In this paper, we discuss three aspects, namely, geographic potential, physical potential, and technical potential, and propose a large-scale and efficient PV potential estimation system applicable to rural rooftops in China. Combined with high-definition map images, we proposed an improved SegNeXt deep learning network to extract roof images. Using the national standard Design Code for Photovoltaic Power Plants (GB50797-2012) and the Bass model, computational results were derived. The average pixel accuracy of the improved SegNeXt was about 96%, which well solved the original problems of insufficient finely extracted edges, poor adhesion, and poor generalization ability and can cope with different types of buildings. Leizhou City has a geographic potential of 1500 kWh/m2, a physical potential of 25,186,181.7 m2, and a technological potential of 442.4 MW. For this paper, we innovatively used the Bass Demand Diffusion Model to estimate the installed capacity over the next 35 years and combined the Commodity Diffusion Model with the installed capacity, which achieved a good result and conformed to the dual-carbon "3060" plan for the future of China. The number of cases, infections, and fatalities varied considerably worldwide. Because the main characteristic of COVID-19 is its rapid spread, doctors and specialists generally use PCR tests to detect the COVID-19 virus. As an alternative to PCR, X-ray images can help diagnose illness using artificial intelligence (AI). In medicine, AI is commonly employed. Convolutional neural networks (CNN) and deep learning models make it simple to extract information from images. Several options exist when creating a deep CNN. GA finds better alternative networks and parameters during iterations. The best network discovered with GA is tested on a COVID-19 X-ray image dataset. The results are compared with other networks and the results of papers in the literature. The novel network of this paper gives more successful results. Dragon fruit is one of the most popular fruits in China and Southeast Asia. It, however, is mainly picked manually, imposing high labor intensity on farmers. The hard branches and complex postures of dragon fruit make it difficult to achieve automated picking. For picking dragon fruits with diverse postures, this paper proposes a new dragon fruit detection method, not only to identify and locate the dragon fruit, but also to detect the endpoints that are at the head and root of the dragon fruit, which can provide more visual information for the dragon fruit picking robot. First, YOLOv7 is used to locate and classify the dragon fruit. Then, we propose a PSP-Ellipse method to further detect the endpoints of the dragon fruit, including dragon fruit segmentation via PSPNet, endpoints positioning via an ellipse fitting algorithm and endpoints classification via ResNet. To test the proposed method, some experiments are conducted. In dragon fruit detection, the precision, recall and average precision of YOLOv7 are 0.844, 0.924 and 0.932, respectively. YOLOv7 also performs better compared with some other models. In dragon fruit segmentation, the segmentation performance of PSPNet on dragon fruit is better than some other commonly used semantic segmentation models, with the segmentation precision, recall and mean intersection over union being 0.959, 0.943 and 0.906, respectively. In endpoints detection, the distance error and angle error of endpoints positioning based on ellipse fitting are 39.8 pixels and 4.3°, and the classification accuracy of endpoints based on ResNet is 0.92. The proposed PSP-Ellipse method makes a great improvement compared with two kinds of keypoint regression method based on ResNet and UNet. Wind turbine energy generators operate in a variety of environments and often under harsh operational conditions, which can result in the mechanical failure of wind turbines. In order to ensure the efficient operation of wind turbines, the detection of any abnormality in the mechanics is particularly important. In this paper, a method for detecting abnormalities in the bearings of wind turbine energy generators, based on the cascade deep learning model, is proposed. First, data on the mechanics of wind turbine generators were collected, and the correlation between the data was studied in order to select the parameters related to the bearing temperature. Then, the logical relationship between the observation parameters and the target parameters was established based on a one-dimensional convolutional neural network (CNN) and a long short-term memory (LSTM) network, and the difference between the predicted temperature and the actual temperature was assessed using the root mean square error evaluation model. Finally, a numerical example was used to verify the operational data from a wind farm unit in northwest China. The results show that the CNN-LSTM model proposed in this paper can detect abnormalities earlier in the state of the main bearing than the LSTM model, and the CNN-LSTM model can detect abnormalities in the main bearing that the LSTM network cannot find. Deep learning, a pivotal branch of artificial intelligence, has increasingly influenced the financial domain with its advanced data processing capabilities. This paper introduces Factor-GAN, an innovative framework that utilizes Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) technology for factor investing. Leveraging a comprehensive factor database comprising 70 firm characteristics, Factor-GAN integrates deep learning techniques with the multi-factor pricing model, thereby elevating the precision and stability of investment strategies. To explain the economic mechanisms underlying deep learning, we conduct a subsample analysis of the Chinese stock market. The findings reveal that the deep learning-based pricing model significantly enhances return prediction accuracy and factor investment performance in comparison to linear models. Particularly noteworthy is the superior performance of the long-short portfolio under Factor-GAN, demonstrating an annualized return of 23.52% with a Sharpe ratio of 1.29. During the transition from state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to non-SOEs, our study discerns shifts in factor importance, with liquidity and volatility gaining significance while fundamental indicators diminish. Additionally, A-share listed companies display a heightened emphasis on momentum and growth indicators relative to their dual-listed counterparts. Dust pollution from storage and handling of materials in dry bulk ports seriously affects air quality and public health in coastal cities. Accurate prediction of dust pollution helps identify risks early and take preventive measures. However, there remain challenges in solving non-stationary time series and selecting relevant features. Besides, existing studies rarely consider impacts of port operations on dust pollution. Therefore, a hybrid approach based on data decomposition and deep learning is proposed to predict dust pollution from dry bulk ports. Port operational data is specially integrated into input features. A secondary decomposition and recombination (SDR) strategy is presented to reduce data non-stationarity. A dual-stage attention-based sequence-to-sequence (DA-Seq2Seq) model is employed to adaptively select the most relevant features at each time step, as well as capture long-term temporal dependencies. This approach is compared with baseline models on a dataset from a dry bulk port in northern China. The results reveal the advantages of SDR strategy and integrating operational data and show that this approach has higher accuracy than baseline models. Previous studies have investigated the determinants of urban tourism development from the various attributes of neighborhood quality. However, traditional methods to assess neighborhood quality are often subjective, costly, and only on a small scale. To fill this research gap, this study applies the recent development in big data of street view images, deep learning algorithms, and image processing technology to assess quantitatively four attributes of neighborhood quality, namely street facilities, architectural landscape, green or ecological environment, and scene visibility. The paper collects more than 7.8 million Baidu SVPs of 232 prefecture-level cities in China and applies deep learning techniques to recognize these images. This paper then tries to examine the influence of neighborhood quality on regional tourism development. Empirical results show that both levels of street facilities and greenery environment promote tourism. However, the construction intensity of the landscape has an inhibitory influence on the development of tourism. The threshold test shows that the intensity of the influence varies with the city's overall economic level. These conclusions are of great significance for the development of China's urban construction and tourism economy, and also provide a useful reference for policymakers. The implementation of the strategy of rural revitalization is a major ministerial work made by the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China and is the general grasp of contemporary agriculture, peasants, and rural work. In recent years, with the rapid development of remote sensing technology and deep learning technology, the demand for the technology for the classification of crops on satellite remote sensing images based on deep learning technology has increased in agricultural insurance and land survey. Therefore, this paper trains one, which is 85.9%–92.8%, the accuracy of corn classification is 77%–93%, and the accuracy of forest classification is 77%–87.6%. Subsequently, the overall accuracy of classifying all directories through the multi-temporal validation data set between May 2017 and October 2017 reached 92.6%. Such a multi-time combination method can be used for monthly, timely, and efficient iteration of agricultural insurance and crop yield estimation, which will be more accurate each time. These methods can also be further applied to the growth and change monitoring of large agricultural planting areas, adding bricks and tiles to China's agricultural remote sensing. Wheat is a major grain crop in China, accounting for one-fifth of the national grain production. Drought stress severely affects the normal growth and development of wheat, leading to total crop failure, reduced yields, and quality. To address the lag and limitations inherent in traditional drought monitoring methods, this paper proposes a multimodal deep learning-based drought stress monitoring S-DNet model for winter wheat during its critical growth periods. Drought stress images of winter wheat during the Rise-Jointing, Heading-Flowering and Flowering-Maturity stages were acquired to establish a dataset corresponding to soil moisture monitoring data. The DenseNet-121 model was selected as the base network to extract drought features. Combining the drought phenotypic characteristics of wheat in the field with meteorological factors and IoT technology, the study integrated the meteorological drought index SPEI, based on WSN sensors, and deep image learning data to build a multimodal deep learning-based S-DNet model for monitoring drought stress in winter wheat. The results show that, compared to the single-modal DenseNet-121 model, the multimodal S-DNet model has higher robustness and generalization capability, with an average drought recognition accuracy reaching 96.4%. Water conservation has become a global problem as the population increases. In many densely populated cities in China, leaks from century-old pipe works have been widespread. However, entirely eradicating the issues involves replacing all water networks, which is costly and time-consuming. This paper proposed an AI-enabled water-saving control system with three control modes: time division control, flow regulation, and critical point control according to actual flow. Firstly, based on the current leaking situation of water supply networks in China and the capability level of China's water management, a water-saving technology integrating PID control and a series of deep learning algorithms was proposed. Secondly, a multi-jet control valve was designed to control pressure and reduce water distribution network cavitation. In recent years, the State Grid of China has placed significant emphasis on the monitoring of noise in substations, driven by growing environmental concerns. This paper presents a substation noise monitoring system designed based on an end-network-cloud architecture, aiming to acquire and analyze substation noise, and report anomalous noise levels that exceed national standards for substation operation and maintenance. To collect real-time noise data at substations, a self-developed noise acquisition device is developed, enabling precise analysis of acoustic characteristics. Moreover, to subtract the interfering environmental background noise (bird/insect chirping, human voice, etc.) and determine if noise exceedances are originating from substation equipment, an intelligent noise separation algorithm is proposed by leveraging the convolutional time-domain audio separation network (Conv-TasNet), dual-path recurrent neural network (DPRNN), and dual-path transformer network (DPTNet), respectively, and evaluated under various scenarios. Experimental results show that (1) deep-learning-based separation algorithms outperform the traditional spectral subtraction method, where the signal-to-distortion ratio improvement (SDRi) and the scale-invariant signal-to-noise ratio improvement (SI-SNRi) of Conv-TasNet, DPRNN, DPTNet and the traditional spectral subtraction are 12.6 and 11.8, 13.6 and 12.4, 14.2 and 12.9, and 4.6 and 4.1, respectively; (2) DPTNet and DPRNN exhibit superior performance in environment noise separation and substation equipment noise separation, respectively; and (3) 91% of post-separation data maintains sound pressure level deviations within 1 dB, showcasing the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm in separating interfering noises while preserving the accuracy of substation noise sound pressure levels. Although atmospheric CO2 concentrations collected by satellites play a crucial role in understanding global greenhouse gases, the sparse geographic distribution greatly affects their widespread application. In this paper, a hybrid CNN and spatiotemporal Kriging (CNN-STK) model is proposed to generate a monthly spatiotemporal continuous XCO2 dataset over China at 0.25° grid-scale from 2015 to 2020, utilizing OCO-2 XCO2 and geographic covariates. The validations against observation samples, CAMS XCO2 and TCCON measurements indicate the CNN-STK model is effective, robust, and reliable with high accuracy (validation set metrics: R2 = 0.936, RMSE = 1.3 ppm, MAE = 0.946 ppm; compared with TCCON: R2 = 0.954, RMSE = 0.898 ppm and MAE = 0.741 ppm). The accuracy of CNN-STK XCO2 exhibits spatial inhomogeneity, with higher accuracy in northern China during spring, autumn, and winter and lower accuracy in northeast China during summer. XCO2 in low-value-clustering areas is notably influenced by biological activities. Moreover, relatively high uncertainties are observed in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Sichuan Basin. This study innovatively integrates deep learning with the geostatistical method, providing a stable and cost-effective approach for other countries and regions to obtain regional scales of atmospheric CO2 concentrations, thereby supporting policy formulation and actions to address climate change. In the globalization trend, China's cultural heritage is in danger of gradually disappearing. The protection and inheritance of these precious cultural resources has become a critical task. This paper focuses on the Miao batik culture in Guizhou Province, China, and explores the application of knowledge graphs, natural language processing, and deep learning techniques in the promotion and protection of batik culture. We propose a dual-channel mechanism that integrates semantic and visual information, aiming to connect batik pattern features with cultural connotations. First, we use natural language processing techniques to automatically extract batik-related entities and relationships from the literature, and construct and visualize a structured batik pattern knowledge graph. Based on this knowledge graph, users can textually search and understand the images, meanings, taboos, and other cultural information of specific patterns. Second, for the batik pattern classification, we propose an improved ResNet34 model. By embedding average pooling and convolutional operations into the residual blocks and introducing long-range residual connections, the classification performance is enhanced. By inputting pattern images into this model, their categories can be accurately identified, and then the underlying cultural connotations can be understood. Experimental results show that our model outperforms other mainstream models in evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, achieving 94.46%, 94.47%, 93.62%, and 93.8%, respectively. Storm surges are a common natural hazard in China's southern coastal area which usually cause a great loss of human life and financial damages. With the economic development and population concentration of coastal cities, storm surges may result in more impacts and damage in the future. Therefore, it is of vital importance to conduct risk assessment to identify high-risk areas and evaluate economic losses. However, quantitative study of storm surge risk assessment in undeveloped areas of China is difficult, since there is a lack of building character and damage assessment data. Aiming at the problem of data missing in undeveloped areas of China, this paper proposes a methodology for conducting storm surge risk assessment quantitatively based on deep learning and geographic information system (GIS) techniques. Five defined storm surge inundation scenarios with different typhoon return periods are simulated by the coupled FVCOM–SWAN (Finite Volume Coastal Ocean Model–Simulating WAves Nearshore) model, the reliability of which is validated using official measurements. Building footprints of the study area are extracted through the TransUNet deep learning model and remote sensing images, while building heights are obtained through unoccupied aerial vehicle (UAV) measurements. Subsequently, economic losses are quantitatively calculated by combining the adjusted depth–damage functions and overlaying an analysis of the buildings exposed to storm surge inundation. Zoning maps of the study area are provided to illustrate the risk levels according to economic losses. The quantitative risk assessment and zoning maps can help the government to provide storm surge disaster prevention measures and to optimize land use planning and thus to reduce potential economic losses in the coastal area. Accurate rainfall measurement with a precise spatial and temporal resolution is essential for making informed decisions during disasters and conducting scientific studies, particularly in regions characterized by intricate terrain and limited coverage of automated weather stations. Retrieval of precipitation with satellite is currently the most effective means to obtain precipitation over large‐scale areas. The key to enhancing the accuracy of precipitation estimation and forecasting in regions with complex terrain lies in effectively integrating satellite data with topographic information. This paper introduces a deep learning approach called AttUnet_R_SFT that utilizes high temporal, spatial, and spectral resolution data obtained from the Fengyun 4A satellite, and incorporates the Deep Spatial Feature Transform (SFT) layer to incorporate geographical data for estimating half‐hourly precipitation in northeastern China. We assess it by compared to operational near‐real‐time satellite precipitation products demonstrated to be successful in estimating precipitation and baseline deep learning models. According to the experimental findings, the AttUnet_R_SFT model outperforms practical precipitation products and baseline deep learning models in both identifying and estimating precipitation. The main enhancement of the model performance is shown in the windward slope of the Greater Khingan Mountains as a result of the successful incorporation of geographical data. Hence, the suggested framework holds the capability to function as a superior and dependable satellite‐derived precipitation estimation solution in regions characterized by intricate terrain and infrequent rainfall. The findings of this study indicate that the utilization of deep learning algorithms for satellite precipitation estimation shows potential as a fruitful avenue for further research. The complexity in stock index futures markets, influenced by the intricate interplay of human behavior, is characterized as nonlinearity and dynamism, contributing to significant uncertainty in long-term price forecasting. While machine learning models have demonstrated their efficacy in stock price forecasting, they rely solely on historical price data, which, given the inherent volatility and dynamic nature of financial markets, are insufficient to address the complexity and uncertainty in long-term forecasting due to the limited connection between historical and forecasting prices. This paper introduces a pioneering approach that integrates financial theory with advanced deep learning methods to enhance predictive accuracy and risk management in China's stock index futures market. The SF-Transformer model, combining spot-forward parity and the Transformer model, is proposed to improve forecasting accuracy across short and long-term horizons. Formulated upon the arbitrage-free futures pricing model, the spot-forward parity model offers variables such as stock index price, risk-free rate, and stock index dividend yield for forecasting. Our insight is that the mutual information generated by these variables has the potential to significantly reduce uncertainty in long-term forecasting. A case study on predicting major stock index futures prices in China demonstrates the superiority of the SF-Transformer model over models based on LSTM, MLP, and the stock index futures arbitrage-free pricing model, covering both short and long-term forecasting up to 28 days. Unlike existing machine learning models, the Transformer processes entire time series concurrently, leveraging its attention mechanism to discern intricate dependencies and capture long-range relationships, thereby offering a holistic understanding of time series data. An enhancement of mutual information is observed after introducing spot-forward parity in the forecasting. The variation of mutual information and ablation study results highlights the significant contributions of spot-forward parity, particularly to the long-term forecasting. Overall, these findings highlight the SF-Transformer model's efficacy in leveraging spot-forward parity for reducing uncertainty and advancing robust and comprehensive approaches in long-term stock index futures price forecasting. Before 2008, China lacked high-coverage regional surface observation data, making it difficult for the China Meteorological Administration Land Data Assimilation System (CLDAS) to directly backtrack high-resolution, high-quality land assimilation products. To address this issue, this paper proposes a deep learning model named UNET_DCA, based on the UNET architecture, which incorporates a Dual Cross-Attention module (DCA) for multiscale feature fusion by introducing Channel Cross-Attention (CCA) and Spatial Cross-Attention (SCA) mechanisms. This model focuses on the near-surface 10-m wind field and achieves spatial downscaling from 6.25 km to 1 km. We conducted training and validation using data from 2020–2021, tested with data from 2019, and performed ablation experiments to validate the effectiveness of each module. We compared the results with traditional bilinear interpolation methods and the SNCA-CLDASSD model. The experimental results show that the UNET-based model outperforms SNCA-CLDASSD, indicating that the UNET-based model captures richer information in wind field downscaling compared to SNCA-CLDASSD, which relies on sequentially stacked CNN convolution modules. UNET_CCA and UNET_SCA, incorporating cross-attention mechanisms, outperform UNET without attention mechanisms. Furthermore, UNET_DCA, incorporating both Channel Cross-Attention and Spatial Cross-Attention mechanisms, outperforms UNET_CCA and UNET_SCA, which only incorporate one attention mechanism. UNET_DCA performs best on the RMSE, MAE, and COR metrics (0.40 m/s, 0.28 m/s, 0.93), while UNET_DCA_ars, incorporating more auxiliary information, performs best on the PSNR and SSIM metrics (29.006, 0.880). Evaluation across different methods indicates that the optimal model performs best in valleys, followed by mountains, and worst in plains; it performs worse during the day and better at night; and as wind speed levels increase, accuracy decreases. Overall, among various downscaling methods, UNET_DCA and UNET_DCA_ars effectively reconstruct the spatial details of wind fields, providing a deeper exploration for the inversion of high-resolution historical meteorological grid data. The MSE value of the machine learning algorithm is 2.456, the MSE value of the data mining algorithm is 2.324, and the MSE value of the convolution neural network algorithm is 2.102, when the number reaches 80. It can be concluded that the convolution neural network algorithm proposed in this paper has the lowest MSE and MAE values of the three methods, implying that the convolution neural network algorithm is the best of the three. Frequent outbreaks of cyanobacterial blooms have become one of the most challenging water ecosystem issues and a critical concern in environmental protection. To overcome the poor stability of traditional detection algorithms, this paper proposes a method for detecting cyanobacterial blooms based on a deep-learning algorithm. An improved vegetation-index method based on a multispectral image taken by an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) was adopted to extract inconspicuous spectral features of cyanobacterial blooms. To enhance the recognition accuracy of cyanobacterial blooms in complex scenes with noise such as reflections and shadows, an improved transformer model based on a feature-enhancement module and pixel-correction fusion was employed. The algorithm proposed in this paper was implemented in several rivers in China, achieving a detection accuracy of cyanobacterial blooms of more than 85%. The estimate of the proportion of the algae bloom contamination area and the severity of pollution were basically accurate. In order to avoid traffic deterioration and alleviate traffic congestion in advance, it is necessary to predict and evaluate the congestion in toll-gates scattering in large-scale region of freeway network. In this paper, traffic volume and operational delay time are selected from various traffic indicators to evaluate congestion considering the particular characteristics of the traffic flow within the toll-gate area. The congestion prediction method is designed including two modules: a deep learning (DL) prediction and a fuzzy evaluation. We propose a modified deep learning method based on graph convolutional network (GCN) structure in the fusion of dilated causal mechanism and optimize the method for spatial feature extraction by constructing a new adjacency matrix. This new AI network could process spatiotemporal information of traffic volume and operational delay time, that extracted from large-scaled toll-gates spontaneously, and predict key indicators in 15/30/60 min future time. The evaluation module is proposed based on these predicted results. Then, fuzzy C-means algorithm (FCM) is further modified by determining coupling weight for these two key indicators to detect congestion state. Original traffic data are obtained from the current 186 toll-gates served on the freeway network in Shaanxi Province, China. Experimental tests are carried out based on historical data of four months after preprogressing. The comparative tests show the proposed CPT-DF (congestion prediction on toll-gates using deep learning and fuzzy evaluation) outperforms the current-used other models by 6-15%. The successful prediction could extend to the real-time prediction and early warning of traffic congestion in the toll system to improve the intelligent level of traffic emergency management and guidance on the key road of disasters to some extent. Deformation can effectively reflect the structural state of concrete dams and, thus, establishing na accurate concrete dam deformation prediction model is important for dam health monitoring and early warning strategies. To address the problem that the spatial coordinates introduced in the traditional multi-point deformation prediction model of dams not being able to accurately and efficiently reflect the spatial correlation of multiple-measuring points, a 2D-1D-CNN model is proposed which expresses the spatial correlation between each measuring point through spatial feature vectors, replacing the spatial coordinates in the traditional multi-point model. First, the spatial feature vector is extracted from the historical spatio-temporal panel series of deformation values of measuring points via a Two-Dimensional Convolutional Neural Network (2D-CNN); second, the vector is combined with the environmental impact factor of dam deformation to form the final input factor of fused spatial features; and, thirdly, this vector is combined with the environmental impact factors of dam deformation to form the final input factor of fused spatial features, and the non-linear linkage between the factors and the measured displacement values is constructed by the efficient feature processing capability of a One-Dimensional Convolutional Neural Network (1D-CNN) to obtain the prediction results. Finally, the actual monitoring data of a concrete dam in China are used as an example to verify the validity of the model. Weather forecasting requires a comprehensive analysis of various types of meteorology data, and with the wide application of deep learning in various fields, deep learning has proved to have powerful feature extraction capabilities. In this paper, from the viewpoint of an image semantic segmentation problem, a deep learning framework based on semantic segmentation is proposed to nowcast Cloud-to-Ground and Intra-Cloud lightning simultaneously within an hour. First, a dataset with spatiotemporal features is constructed using radar echo reflectivity data and lightning observation data. More specifically, each sample in the dataset consists of the past half hour of observations. Then, a Light3DUnet is presented based on 3D U-Net. The three-dimensional structured network can extract spatiotemporal features, and the encoder–decoder structure and the skip connection can handle small targets and recover more details. Due to the sparsity of lightning observations, a weighted cross-loss function was used to evaluate network performance. Finally, Light3DUnet was trained using the dataset to predict Cloud-to-Ground and Intra-Cloud lightning in the next hour. We evaluated the prediction performance of the network using a real-world dataset from middle China. The results show that Light3DUnet has a good ability to nowcast IC and CG lightning. Meanwhile, due to the spatial position coupling of IC and CG on a two-dimensional plane, predictions from summing the probabilistic prediction matrices will be augmented to obtain accurate prediction results for total flashes. The development of digital technology has accelerated the transformation of financial online payment methods, bringing convenience to payment but also increasing the hidden dangers of fraudulent transactions. Antifraud research is particularly essential to protect users' property and prevent financial crises. With the advancement of data governance and sharing technology, digital payment transaction data present new characteristics of massive, multi-source and heterogeneous. Integrating data intelligence technology based on big data and artificial intelligence into anti-fraud research has important theoretical research significance. The digital credit payment model formed by the full combination of credit card payment and digital payment has the most mature data accumulation and theoretical basis at present, providing the most ideal data resources and theoretical support for the research of anti-fraud models. Starting from the concept, this paper firstly introduces the definition, research difficulties, and data framework of the digital credit anti-fraud research problem in combination with the actual business scenarios in China. Secondly, based on the modeling strategy, the frontier progress of digital credit transaction anti-fraud research is reviewed from two aspects of data balance and model optimization. This paper focuses on the theoretical basis, applicable scenarios, and latest achievements of various machine learning algorithms and deep learning algorithms in anti-fraud research, and based on the above content, a comprehensive evaluation is made. Finally, combined with the research status and from the perspective of demand, this paper summarizes the three major hotspots including the generalization and interpretability of anti-fraud research, and the sensitivity to new fraudulent transaction models, and concludes with an outlook on future research directions. In recent years, with the development of pelagic fishing, the working environment and monitoring of crew (squid jigger) members have become increasingly important. However, traditional methods of pelagic human observers suffer from high costs, low coverage, poor timeliness, and susceptibility to subjective factors. In contrast, the Electronic Monitoring System (EMS) has advantages such as continuous operation under various weather conditions; more objective, transparent, and efficient data; and less interference with fishing operations. This paper shows how the 3DCNN model, LSTM+ResNet model, and TimeSformer model are applied to video-classification tasks, and for the first time, they are applied to an EMS. In addition, this paper tests and compares the application effects of the three models on video classification, and discusses the advantages and challenges of using them for video recognition. Through experiments, we obtained the accuracy and relevant indicators of video recognition using different models. The research results show that when NUM_FRAMES is set to 8, the LSTM+ResNet-50 model has the best performance, with an accuracy of 88.47%, an F 1 score of 0.8881, and an m a p score of 0.8133. Analyzing the EMS for pelagic fishing can improve China's performance level and management efficiency in pelagic fishing, and promote the development of the fishery knowledge service system and smart fishery engineering. Forest floor dead fuel moisture content (DFMC) is an important factor in the occurrence of forest fires, and predicting DFMC is important for accurate fire risk forecasting. Large areas of forest surface DFMC are difficult to predict via manual methods. In this paper, we propose an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based forest surface DFMC prediction method, in which a UAV is equipped with a multispectral camera to collect multispectral images of dead combustible material on the forest surface over a large area, combined with a deep-learning algorithm to achieve the large-scale prediction of DFMC on the forest surface. From 9 March to 23 March 2023, 5945 multispectral images and 480 sets of dead combustible samples were collected from an urban forestry demonstration site in Harbin, China, using an M300 RTK UAV with an MS600Pro multispectral camera. The multispectral images were segmented by a K-means clustering algorithm to obtain multispectral images containing only dead combustibles on the ground surface. The segmented multispectral images were then trained with the actual moisture content measured by the weighing method through the ConvNeXt deep-learning model, with 3985 images as the training set, 504 images as the validation set, and 498 images as the test set. The results showed that the MAE and RMSE of the test set are 1.54% and 5.45%, respectively, and the accuracy is 92.26% with high precision, achieving the accurate prediction of DFMC over a large range. The proposed new method for predicting DFMC via UAV multispectral cameras is expected to solve the real-time large-range accurate prediction of the moisture content of dead combustible material on the forest surface during the spring fire-prevention period in northeast China, thus providing technical support for improving the accuracy of forest fire risk-level forecasting and forest fire spread trend prediction. This can not only be used for automatic inspection and proofreading of English texts but also enable students to achieve the purpose of autonomous practice. This paper constructs an English writing error correction model and applies it to the actual system to realize automatic checking and correction of writing errors in English composition. This paper uses the deep learning model of Seq2Seq_Attention model and transformer model to eliminate deep-level errors. Statistical learning is combined with deep learning and adopted a model integration method. Bearing in mind European Green Deal assumptions regarding a significant reduction of green house emissions, electricity generation from Renewable Energy Sources (RES) is more and more important nowadays. Besides this, accurate and reliable electricity generation forecasts from RES are needed for capacity planning, scheduling, managing inertia and frequency response during contingency events. The recent three years have proved that Machine Learning (ML) models are a promising solution for forecasting electricity generation from RES. In this review, the 8-step methodology was used to find and analyze 262 relevant research articles from the Scopus database. Statistic analysis based on eight criteria (ML method used, renewable energy source involved, affiliation location, hybrid model proposed, short term prediction, author name, number of citations, and journal title) was shown. The results indicate that (1) Extreme Learning Machine and ensemble methods were the most popular methods used for electricity generation forecasting from RES in the last three years (2020–2022), (2) most of the research was carried out for wind systems, (3) the hybrid models accounted for about a third of the analyzed works, (4) most of the articles concerned short-term models, (5) the most researchers came from China, (6) and the journal which published the most papers in the analyzed field was Energies. Accurately predicting carbon trading prices using deep learning models can help enterprises understand the operational mechanisms and regulations of the carbon market. This is crucial for expanding the industries covered by the carbon market and ensuring its stable and healthy development. To ensure the accuracy and reliability of the predictions in practical applications, it is important to evaluate the model's robustness. In this paper, we built models with different parameters to predict carbon trading prices, and proposed models with high accuracy and robustness. The accuracy of the models was assessed using traditional survey indicators. The robustness of the CNN-LSTM model was compared to that of the LSTM model using Z-scores. The CNN-LSTM model with the best prediction performance was compared to a single LSTM model, resulting in a 9% reduction in MSE and a 0.0133 shortening of the Z-score range. Furthermore, the CNN-LSTM model achieved a level of accuracy comparable to other popular models such as CEEMDAN, Boosting, and GRU. It also demonstrated a training speed improvement of at least 40% compared to the aforementioned methods. These results suggest that the CNN-LSTM enhances model resilience. Accurate estimation of potential wildfire behavior characteristics (PWBC) can improve wildfire danger assessment. However, wildfire behavior has been estimated by most fire spread models with immeasurable uncertainties and difficulties in large-scale applications. In this study, a PWBC estimation model (named PWBC-QR-BiLSTM) was proposed by coupling the Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) and quantile regression (QR) methods. Multi-source data, including fuel, weather, topography, infrastructure, and landscape variables, were input into the PWBC-QR-BiLSTM model to estimate the potential rate of spread (ROS) and fire radiative power (FRP) over western Sichuan of China, and then to estimate the probability density of ROS and FRP. Daily ROS and FRP were extracted from the Global Fire Atlas and the MOD14A1/MYD14A1 product. The optimal PWBC-QR-BiLSTM model was determined using the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm Ⅱ (NAGA-Ⅱ). Results showed that the PWBC-QR-BiLSTM performed well in estimating potential ROS and FRP with high accuracy (ROS: R 2  > 0.7 and MAPE<30%, FRP: R 2  > 0.8 and MAPE<25%). The modal PWBC values extracted from the estimated probability density were closer to the observed values, which can be regarded as a good indicator for wildfire danger assessment. The variable importance analysis also verified that fuel and infrastructure variables played an important role in driving wildfire behavior. Deep learning techniques have offered innovative and efficient tools for accurate and automated detection of sewer defects by leveraging large-scale sewer data and advanced feature learning algorithms. However, there has been a lack of thorough characterization of the geometric properties of segmented defects, let alone systematically calculate the severity level of sewer defects and quantitatively evaluate their impacts on flood conditions in hydrodynamic models. This study proposed a comprehensive framework and related metrics to accurately and automatically detect, segment, characterize, and evaluate the impacts of sewer defects on flooded nodes and volumes by integrating a DeepLabv3+-based segmentation technique, an automated geometric characterization and severity quantification module, and a GIS and SWMM-based hydrodynamic modeling. The results clearly showed in details where and how much the urban flooding was affected by the different defect types. The segmentation model achieved satisfactory detection performance, with mean pixel accuracy (MPA), mean intersection over union (MIoU), and frequency weighted intersection over union (FWIoU) of 0.99, 0.74 and 0.95, respectively. In terms of severity level quantification, there were 98%, 90%, 90% and 83% of predictions consistent with real conditions for falling off, obstacle, disjoint and leakage. It was shown that the number of surcharging manholes and total flood volume (TFV) were greatly affected by sewer defects, with over 16% increase in TFVs under all investigated rainfall events. As surface ozone (O 3 ) gains increasing attention, there is an urgent need for high temporal resolution and accurate O 3 monitoring. By taking advantage of the progress in artificial intelligence, deep learning models have been applied to satellite based O 3 retrieval. However, the underlying physical mechanisms that influence surface O 3 into model construction have rarely been considered. To overcome this issue, we considered the physical mechanisms influencing surface O 3 and used them to select relevant variable features for developing a novel deep learning model. We used a wide and deep model architecture to account for linear and non-linear relationships between the variables and surface O 3 . Using the developed model, we performed hourly inversions of surface O 3 retrieval over China from 2017 to 2019 (9:00-17:00, local time). The validation results based on sample-based (site-based) methods yielded an R 2 of 0.94 (0.86) and an RMSE of 12.79 (19.13) μg/m 3 , indicating the accuracy of the models. The average surface O 3 concentrations in China in 2017, 2018, and 2019 were 82, 78, and 87 μg/m 3 , respectively. There was a diurnal pattern in surface O 3 in China, with levels rising significantly from 55 μg/m 3 at 9:00 a.m. to 96 μg/m 3 at 15:00. Between 15:00 and 16:00, the O 3 concentration remained stable at 95 μg/m 3 and decreased slightly thereafter (16:00-17:00).
