Background: Patients with extensive‐stage small cell lung cancer (ES‐SCLC) have an exceptionally poor prognosis and immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) combined with etoposide‐platinum is recommended as standard first‐line therapy. However, which combination pattern is the best still remains unknown. This network meta‐analysis was performed to compare the efficacy and safety of currently available patterns including an antiangiogenic agent containing regimen and probed into the most appropriate therapy for patients. Methods: Hazard ratios (HRs) and odds ratios (ORs) were generated using R software. The outcomes of overall survival (OS), progression‐free survival (PFS), objective response rate (ORR), and adverse events of grade 3 or higher (grade ≥ 3 adverse events [AEs]) were analyzed. Results: A total of 10 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) involving 5544 patients were included for analysis. Drug combination patterns included adebrelimab, atezolizumab, durvalumab, durvalumab plus tremelimumab, ipilimumab, pembrolizumab, serplulimab, benmelstobart plus anlotinib, tislelizumab, tiragolumab plus atezolizumab and toripalimab in combination with chemotherapy. The novel antiangiogenic agent containing regimen benmelstobart + anlotinib + chemotherapy showed the highest possibility to present the best PFS and OS versus chemotherapy. Compared with ICI plus chemotherapy, it also achieved significantly better PFS and presented a tendency of OS benefit. As for safety and toxicity, patients treated with benmelstobart + anlotinib + chemotherapy and durvalumab + tremelimumab + chemotherapy suffered a higher likelihood of more grade ≥ 3 AEs without unexpected AEs. Conclusion: PD‐1/PD‐L1 inhibitors‐based combinations are associated with significant improvement in both PFS and OS for treatment‐naïve ES‐SCLC patients. Benmelstobart plus anlotinib with chemotherapy (CT) yielded better survival benefit versus CT alone or other ICIs + CT with caution for more adverse effects along with the addition of an antiangiogenic agent. Cyano‐containing electrodes usually promise high theoretical potentials while suffering from uncontrollable self‐dissolution and sluggish reaction kinetics. Herein, to remedy their limitations, an unprecedented core–shell heterostructured electrode of carbon nanotubes encapsulated in poly(1,4‐dicyanoperfluorobenzene sulfide) (CNT@PFDCB) is rationally crafted via molecule and microstructure modulations. Specifically, the linkage of sulfide bridges of PFDCB prevents the active cyano groups from dissolving, resulting in a robust structure. The fluorinations modulate the electronic configurations in frontier orbitals, allowing higher electrical conductivity and elevated output voltage. Combined with the core–shell architecture to unlock the sluggish diffusion kinetics for both electrons and guest ions, the CNT@PFDCB exhibits an impressive capacity (203.5 mAh g−1), remarkable rate ability (127.6 mAh g−1 at 3.0 A g−1), and exceptional cycling stability (retaining 81.1 % capacity after 3000 cycles at 1.0 A g−1). Additionally, the Li‐storage mechanisms regarding PFDCB are thoroughly revealed by in situ attenuated total reflection infrared spectroscopy, in situ Raman spectroscopy, and theoretical simulations, which involve the coordination interaction between Li ions and cyano groups and the electron delocalization along the conjugated skeleton. More importantly, a practical fully organic cell based on the CNT@PFDCB is well‐validated that demonstrates a tremendous potential of cyanopolymer as the cathode to replace its inorganic counterparts. With the proliferation and development of social media platforms, social media data have become an important source for acquiring spatiotemporal information on various urban events. Providing accurate spatiotemporal information for events contributes to enhancing the capabilities of urban management and emergency responses. However, existing research regarding mining spatiotemporal information of events often solely focuses on textual content and neglects data from other modalities such as images and videos. Therefore, this study proposes an innovative spatiotemporal information extraction method, which extracts the spatiotemporal information of events from multimodal data on Weibo at coarse- and fine-grained hierarchical levels and serves as a beneficial supplement to existing urban event monitoring methods. This paper utilizes the "20 July 2021 Zhengzhou Heavy Rainfall" incident as an example to evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of the proposed method. Results indicate that in coarse-grained spatial information extraction using only textual data, our method achieved a spatial precision of 87.54% within a 60 m range and reached 100% spatial precision for ranges beyond 200 m. For fine-grained spatial information extraction, the introduction of other modal data, such as images and videos, resulted in a significant improvement in spatial error. These results demonstrate the ability of the MIST-SMMD (Method of Identifying Spatiotemporal Information of Social Media Multimodal Data) to extract spatiotemporal information from urban events at both coarse and fine levels and confirm the significant advantages of multimodal data in enhancing the precision of spatial information extraction. Ferroptosis is a newly discovered iron-dependent form of regulated cell death driven by phospholipid peroxidation and associated with processes including iron overload, lipid peroxidation, and dysfunction of cellular antioxidant systems. Ferroptosis is found to be closely related to many diseases, including cancer at every stage. Epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) in malignant tumors that originate from epithelia promotes cancer-cell migration, invasion, and metastasis by disrupting cell–cell and cell–cell matrix junctions, cell polarity, etc. Recent studies have shown that ferroptosis appears to share multiple initiators and overlapping pathways with EMT in cancers and identify ferroptosis as a potential predictor of various cancer grades and prognoses. Cancer metastasis involves multiple steps, including local invasion of cancer cells, intravasation, survival in circulation, arrest at a distant organ site, extravasation and adaptation to foreign tissue microenvironments, angiogenesis, and the formation of "premetastatic niche". Numerous studies have revealed that ferroptosis is closely associated with cancer metastasis. From the cellular perspective, ferroptosis has been implicated in the regulation of cancer metastasis. From the molecular perspective, the signaling pathways activated during the two events interweave. This review briefly introduces the mechanisms of ferroptosis and discusses how ferroptosis is involved in cancer progression, including EMT, cancer angiogenesis, invasion, and metastasis. In order to reduce the digestion rate of starch in human body and improve the content of slowly digestible starch (SDS) and resistant starch (RS), millimeter calcium alginate beads encapsulated with different proportions of recrystallized starch were constructed in this study. First, we prepared recrystallized starch (RS3) by debranching waxy corn starch and retrogradation, and then encapsulated RS3 in calcium alginate beads by the ionic gel method. The microstructure of the beads was observed by scanning electron microscope, and the gel texture properties, swelling properties, and in vitro digestibility of the beads were studied. The results showed that the beads after cooking still maintained high hardness and chewiness, and the swelling power and solubility of the beads were lower than that of native starch. Compared with native starch, the content of rapidly digestible starch (RDS) in beads decreased, while the content of SDS and RS increased. The sample with the highest content of RS is RS31@Alginate1, whose content of RS is 70.10%, 52.11 times higher than that of waxy corn starch and 1.75 times higher than that of RS3. RS3 encapsulated in calcium alginate beads has a good encapsulation effect, and the content of SDS and RS is greatly increased. Recently, although aqueous zinc ion batteries have caused widespread concerns, the pieces of research on new anode materials are still very limited. And herein, monoclinic MoOx anode material with impressive properties for rechargeable aqueous zinc ion batteries is synthesized by a facile N-methylpyrrolidone-assisted wet-chemical method for the first time. The monoclinic MoOx anode material delivers high initial discharge/charge capacities of 233.7/203.7 mAh g−1 at a current density of 0.5 A g−1. What is more, even at an extremely high current density of 20 A g−1, high initial discharge/charge capacities of 173.3/122.2 mAh g−1 can be still exhibited, and the highest charge capacity of 145.0 mAh g−1, which corresponds to a discharge capacity of 146.7 mAh g−1 is delivered at the 8th cycle. Furthermore, the anode material could still work effectively even after 40,000 cycles at 20 A g−1 that considerable discharge/charge capacities of 38.3/38.3 mAh g−1 can be still exhibited. The significance of the rational designing the ratio between the cathode material mass and the monoclinic MoOx anode mass is also illustrated here, and it is found the optimized cell (cathode: anode mass ratio of 2:1) exhibits great electrochemical properties enhancement including higher capacity, better rate property, and better cycle ability. Recently, owing to the high theoretical capacity and safety, zinc-ion energy storage devices have been known as one of the most prominent energy storage devices. However, the lack of ideal electrode materials remains a crucial hindrance to developing zinc-ion energy storage devices. MXene is an ideal electrode material due to its ultra-high conductivity, particular sheet structure and unique physical and chemical properties, and it has shown excellent performance in practical applications. Therefore, this review briefly introduces the basic information about MXenes and details the applications of MXene in zinc-ion batteries and zinc-ion hybrid capacitors in recent years. Finally, the application characteristics of MXene in zinc-ion energy storage devices are summarized and an outlook is given. This paper highlights the features and advantages of zinc-ion energy storage devices more by comparing them with other energy storage devices, to provide a comprehensive reference for scholars in this field. Objectives: YTHDF1 is known as a m6A reader protein, and many researches of YTHDF1 focused on the regulation of mRNA translation efficiency. However, YTHDF1 is also related to RNA degradation, but how YTHDF1 regulates mRNA degradation is indefinite. Liquid‐liquid phase separation (LLPS) underlies the formation of membraneless compartments in mammal cells, and there are few reports focused on the correlation of RNA degradation with LLPS. In this research, we focused on the mechanism of YTHDF1 degraded mRNA through LLPS. Materials and Methods: The CRISPR/Cas9 knock out system was used to establish the YTHDF1 knock out (YTHDF1‐KO) cell lines (HEK293 and HeLa) and METTL14 knock out (METTL14‐KO) cell line (HEK293). 4SU‐TT‐seq was used to check the half‐life changes of mRNAs. Actinomycin D and qPCR were used to test the half‐life changes of individual mRNA. RNA was stained with SYTO RNA‐select dye in wild type (WT) and YTHDF1‐KO HeLa cell lines. Co‐localization of YTHDF1 and AGO2 was identified by immunofluorescence. The interaction domain of YTHDF1 and AGO2 was identified by western blot. Phase separation of YTHDF1 was performed in vitro and in vivo. Fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP) was performed on droplets as an assessment of their liquidity. Results: In this research, we found that deletion of YTHDF1 led to massive RNA patches deposited in cytoplasm. The results of 4SU‐TT‐seq showed that deletion of YTHDF1 would prolong the half‐life of mRNAs. Immunofluorescence data showed that YTHDF1 and AGO2 could co‐localize in P‐body, and Co‐IP results showed that YTHDF1 could interact with AGO2 through YT521‐B homology (YTH) domain. We confirmed that YTHDF1 could undergo phase separation in vitro and in vivo, and compared with AGO2, YTHDF1 was more important in P‐body formation. The FRAP results showed that liquid AGO2 droplets would convert to gel/solid when YTHDF1 was deleted. As AGO2 plays important roles in miRISCs, we also found that miRNA‐mediate mRNA degradation is related to YTHDF1. Conclusions: YTHDF1 recruits AGO2 through the YTH domain. YTHDF1 degrades targeting mRNAs by promoting P‐body formation through LLPS. The deletion of YTHDF1 causes the P‐body to change from liquid droplets to gel/solid droplets, and form AGO2/RNA patches, resulting in a degradation delay of mRNAs. These findings reveal a previously unrecognized crosstalk between YTHDF1 and AGO2, raising a new sight of mRNA post‐transcriptional regulation by YTHDF1. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Mounting evidence indicates that Zika virus (ZIKV) is closely related to neurological disorders such as microcephaly and Guillain-Barré syndrome. There are currently no effective vaccines and FDA-approved inhibitors against ZIKV infection. The flaviviral heterodimeric serine protease NS2B-NS3 plays an essential role in ZIKV maturation and replication, thus becoming a promising target in anti-ZIKV therapy. Herein, we developed a fluorescence-based screening assay to search for inhibitors targeting the ZIKV NS2B-NS3 protease (ZIKVpro), and identified theaflavin-3,3'-digallate (ZP10), a natural active compound derived from black tea, as a potent ZIKV protease inhibitor in vitro (IC50 = 2.3 μM). ZP10 exhibited dose-dependent inhibitory effect on ZIKV replication (EC50 = 7.65 μM). Western blot analysis suggested that ZP10 inhibited the cleavage processing of viral polyprotein precursor in cells either infected with ZIKV or expressing minimal self-cleaving proteinase NS2B-3 protease, resulting in inhibition of virus growth. Moreover, ZP10 was showed to directly bind to ZIKVpro, and a docking model further revealed that ZP10 interacted with several critical residues at the proteolytic cavity of the ZIKVpro. Sb‐based materials have attracted much attention owing to their ability to undergo a multi‐electron alloy reaction with K+. However, there are still the serious problems of volume change and aggregation of particles, which lead to rapid capacity fading and a limited lifespan. In this work, a graphene/amorphous carbon restriction structure is proposed, in which the amorphous carbon layer on the surface of Sb nanoparticles can protect the particles from pulverization, and the graphene can buffer the volume change of the material. In addition, the conductive network formed by the dual carbon structure effectively improves the rate performance of the material. Thus, the material delivers a high capacity of 550 mA h g−1 at 100 mA g−1, a rate capability of 370 mA h g−1 at 2000 mA g−1, and a long lifespan of 350 cycles without significant capacity fading. • The easy axis of Fe/silicene changes with changing the thickness of Fe. • All the magnetic moments are insensitive to the electric field. • The perpendicular magnetic anisotropy can be enhanced under the electric field. In view of the importance of inducing magnetism and large perpendicular magnetic anisotropy in silicene, the influence of an external electric field on the magnetism and the magnetic anisotropy of the Fe(15, 18, 21 monolayers)/silicene heterostructures are investigated by using first-principles calculations. The results show that the magnetic moments and the magnetic anisotropy of the Fe/silicene heterostructures are mainly from Fe films. With increasing the thickness of Fe film, the easy magnetization axis of the Fe/silicene heterostructure changes from out-of-plane to in-plane direction. In addition, the magnetic moments in all the Fe/silicene heterostructures are insensitive to the electric field. Particularly, under the positive electric field, the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy of the Fe(15 monolayers)/silicene can be enhanced, the magnetic anisotropy of the Fe(18 monolayers)/silicene increases from in-plane magnetic anisotropy to perpendicular magnetic anisotropy, and the magnetic anisotropy of the Fe(21 monolayers)/silicene also increases although its easy magnetization axis is still along in-plane direction. The mechanism of the electric-field-driven modulation of magnetic anisotropy is mainly from the increase of the positive contribution from spin-orbit coupling interaction between opposite spin d z 2 and d yz orbitals of the second Fe layer from the Fe/silicene interface. Our study reveals that the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy can be achieved or enhanced by applying positive electric field if the thickness of Fe film in Fe/silicene heterostructure is suitable. First-principles calculations based on density functional theory were performed to investigate the electrochemical properties of K1−xVOPO4 in potassium-ion batteries (KIBs). The material showed multiple phase transitions during K ion extraction, which began with a two-phase transition (0 ≤x≤ 0.5), followed by a solid-solution transition (0.5 ＜ x≤ 0.625), another two-phase transition (0.625 ＜ x≤ 0.75), and finally a solid-solution transition (0.75 ＜ x≤ 1). These processes resulted in a small total unit cell volume variation of 6.6%, which was beneficial for the cycle stability of KIBs. Density of states and Bader charge analysis revealed that both V and O participated in the charge transfer process, where V acted as the redox center of KVOPO4 contributing to the K storage capacity, and O acted as a charge transfer medium between V and K. The stepwise increased repulsion between V cations caused three voltage plateaus for K1−xVOPO4. In addition, the one-dimensional diffusion pathway for K ions with low energy barriers of 0.214–0.491 eV ensured high K ion mobility resulting in superior high rate capability. [Display omitted] Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most frequently diagnosed male malignant tumor and remains the second leading cause of male cancer mortality in western countries. The development of novel antiandrogens to circumvent the drug resistance in anti-PCa treatment is highly demanded. Herein, we identified that gossypol (GOS) specificly inhibited the AR signaling. Further optimization of GOS derivatives led to the discovery of compound XY-32. XY-32 efficiently inhibits AR signaling with the IC 50 of 1.23 μM. XY-32 downregulates both the full-length AR and the AR variable splice AR-V7 via suppressing the mRNA expression. It inhibits the proliferation of CRPC cells such as the LNCaP cells, the PC-3 cells, and enzalutamide resistance 22Rv1 cells. The work demonstrates the GOS derivatives represent a novel series of anti-androgen to conquer the acquired AR mutations or AR splice variants induced drug resistance of mCRPC. Sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) have attracted much interest as a low-cost and environmentally benign energy storage system, but more attention is justifiably required to address the major technical issues relating to the anode materials to deliver high reversible capacity, superior rate capability, and stable cyclability. A SnSe/reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanocomposite has been prepared by a facile ball-milling method, and its structural, morphological, and electrochemical properties have been characterized and compared with those of the bare SnSe material. Although the redox behavior of SnSe remains nearly unchanged upon the incorporation of RGO, its electrochemical performance is significantly enhanced, as reflected by a high specific capacity of 590 mA h g−1 at 0.050 A g−1, a rate capability of 260 mA h g−1 at 10 A g−1, and long-term stability over 120 cycles. This improvement may be attributed to the high electronic conductivity of RGO, which also serves as a matrix to buffer changes in volume and maintain the mechanical integrity of the electrode during (de)sodiation processes. Tin-iron-carbon nanocomposite is successfully prepared by a sol-gel method followed by a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process with acetylene gas as the carbon source. The structural properties, morphology, and electrochemical performances of the nanocomposite are comprehensively studied in comparison with those properties of tin-carbon and iron-carbon nanocomposites. Sheet-like carbon architecture and different carbon contents are induced thanks to the catalytic effect of iron during CVD. Among three nanocomposites, tin-iron-carbon demonstrates the highest reversible capacity of 800 mA h g−1 with 96.9 % capacity retention after 50 cycles. It also exhibits the best rate capability with a discharge capacity of 420 mA h g−1 at a current density of 1000 mA g−1. This enhanced performance is strongly related to the carbon morphology and content, which can not only accommodate the large volume change, but also improve the electronic conductivity of the nanocomposite. Cervical cancer (CC) is one of the most threatening diseases in women. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been reported to be cancer hallmarks, but typical circRNAs in CC were rarely indicated. Through high-throughput sequencing in CC and normal cervix tissues, circYPEL2 (hsa_circ_0005600) was proposed as a candidate circRNA. CircYPEL2 exhibited significantly high expression in CC tissue and strong stability in CC cell lines. Furthermore, knockdown and overexpression of circYPEL2 indicated the potential involvement in CC proliferation, migration and invasion. Finally, the downstream regulatory genes of circYPEL2 were investigated by knockdown experiment in CC cell lines with high-throughput sequencing.
