A variety of regulations have regulated halal certification policies. However, the implementation of accelerated halal certification regulations in Indonesia has not been effective because there still needs to be improvement in substance, structure, and legal culture. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of accelerating halal certification between Indonesia and Malaysia. This socio-legal research uses a comparative approach with Malaysia. The data used are primary and secondary interviews, surveys, case studies, and literature studies. The research results show that, first, that the effectiveness of halal product regulations in Indonesia has yet to be maximized in terms of substance, structure, and legal culture. Second, the regulatory and companion factors required for halal certification are strategies to accelerate halal certification in Indonesia. The government must promptly enhance regulations regarding halal products, supervise law enforcement, and conduct outreach and education initiatives for the public in response to the numerous challenges encountered in expediting halal product certification. This research will impact accelerating certification, which can increase economic growth and serve as a legal basis for formulating the adoption of Indonesian government regulations.

Secondary metabolites such as phenolic and flavonoid from the plant are essential in their activity, especially activities related to the prevention of oxidation and the inhibition of xanthine oxidase. One plant that is believed to have prevention of oxidation and XOI and correlates with secondary metabolites is parang romang. The purpose of this study is to assess the antioxidant capacity and xanthine oxidase inhibitory activities of parang romang, and to examine their relationship with the TPC and TFC. Total phenolic and flavonoid were measured for all parts, and the DPPH, FRAP, and CUPRAC methods determined antioxidant capacity. The activity of xanthine oxidase inhibition was also assessed. Flavonoids, alkaloids, and coumarin were found in parang romang. The steroid/triterpenoid was found in the stem, leaves, and flower; saponin was in the roots and flower; quinone and tannin were only in the roots. The root gave the highest of TPC, while the flower had the highest TFC. The highest antioxidant capacity was found in roots, leaves, flowers, and stems. The highest xanthine oxidase inhibitory was given by leaves (9.74±0.14 µg/ml), followed by flower, steam, and rood. The correlation was shown between the phenolic and flavonoid quantities and the actions of antioxidants and xanthine oxidase inhibitors.

Women’s inheritance is a never-ending issue. This issue has been frequently debated amongst academician, especially involving distribution of women’s inheritance, which is half of what men received. This polemic arises due to the changes in social system of Muslim society, which is now different than the early time of wahy (revelation) conveyance. This is due to the distribution ratio of 2:1 is already seen unreasonable, though still to be seen in the context of Islamic law and the fundamentals in determining this law. Hence, this article will focus on the polemic of women inheritance from the perspective of Islamic law to determine whether the men to women ratio of 2:1 is rigid, or whether there are other areas that place women before men. This article also discusses how far this right can change and the alternative solution to the issue in the context of current Islamic society. A descriptive qualitative approach was adopted with the primary data obtained through several relevant sources. Data analysis was carried out using a legal approach, a sociological approach, and a philosophical approach. This study concluded that with better education, more women have career and they also contribute to the family economy. This scenario has changed the marriage landscape. In other words, women no longer involve in a narrow domestic space; they are even capable to be alongside men in the public sphere. In accordance with this phenomenon, demand exists for equal inheritance right between man (son) and woman (daughter). Nevertheless, not all Islamic law can be changed due to the changes in the society sociocultural.

A marriage guardian (wali) occupies a very important role in marrying the bride to the prospective groom. There is often a unique case found among the Batak Toba Muslims in Harian District, Samosir Regency in that the lineage of a marriage guardian is not clear (cannot be proven genetically). Thus, if a bride belongs to a Samosir clan, the leader of Samosir clan can be the marriage guardian for the bride as long as he is a Muslim. This study aims to see the implementation of traditional wedding ceremony in the Batak Toba Muslim community, to see some factors contributed to this phenomenon, and to see the role of a guardian in a traditional wedding ceremony of Batak Toba Muslim in the perspective of Islamic law. After analyzing the data, it was found that many cases of marriage involving guardian of the same clan but different lineage were triggered by little understanding of Islamic marriage. Therefore, the office of religious affairs is suggested to be more active in raising people’s awareness of the important roles of a marriage guardian. In addition, for people whose marriage guardian is not from the same lineage should register their marriage with a wali hakim as their marriage guardian.

Implementation of a management information system using Machine Learning technology with the aim of solving the problems owned by the shop owner, namely the owner has a problem in terms of increasing sales. Observation method as data collection by making direct observations of the object under study with the relevant agencies to collect data and information related to existing problems. Research on the implementation of information systems has succeeded in increasing sales by 1.5% each month, using Machine Learning technology, a product sales recommendation system. Because based on the existing problems required an information system to assist in increasing sales. Machine Learning technology used in this research is a product recommendation system that can affect sales increase.

The dynamics of Islam within the framework of Islamic majority and minority groups cannot be separated from the government’s role in maintaining religious tolerance. Minority groups such as Moro Muslims in the Philippines, Patani Muslims in Thailand, and Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar have illustrated the government’s minimal role in resolving conflicts between the majority and minorities. Therefore, this paper discusses the Muslim majority and minority groups in several countries and their relationship with the government to implement the practice of religious tolerance. This article uses a library method with a content analysis approach from relevant articles related to the government’s role in implementing religious tolerance practices in Southeast Asia. The study shows that the existence of Islam as a belief of a person and the people who are part of the state and government cannot be separated from one another. In other words, the state’s support for its people of various ethnicity, cultures, and religions will contribute to the peace of the state and the creation of state stability. The position of the majority and minority in the religious process will also influence religious institutions socially, economically, and culturally. Showing the expression of diversity in religious practices in the Southeast Asia region will create a new order in creating peace.

The term of jihad has a significant role in the formation of Islamic identity, politics, and nations. For example, the Malay World during the colonial or pre-independence, has created the momentum among community to break free from the colonial at the time. This spirit was injected with elements of jihad through the advice of scholars, graduates returning from the middle east who brought the spirit of independence and through writing. Among the writings that may have a role in explaining jihad among the Malay community is Baḥr al-Mādhī [1924-1960]. This article will analyse on the representation of jihad and warfare term in the Baḥr al-Mādhī, a book written by Muḥammad Idrīs al-Marbawī [1896-1989]. It can be considered as one of the greatest masterpieces of Malay Muslim scholar in the twentieth century. It was composed as a commentary to the hadith in Jāmi‘ al-Tirmidhī and have been written in Malay language. This article also analyses al-Marbawi’s contribution to Malay community understanding jihad in pre independence period of Malaysia through his commentary and translation of the hadith of jihad in Baḥr al-Mādhī. This study applied qualitative study, data collected by library research and analysed by document analysis methodology. Study found that, the Baḥr al-Mādhī by Muḥammad Idrīs al-Marbawī has played a major role in the understanding of jihad among Malays in pre-independence period. This book symbolizes the local wisdom of the Malay community at the earliest time. This contribution can be understood through the background of the writing of this book, its wide pertinence into society and the content of jihad in it. Misalnya seperti dunia Melayu pada masa kolonial atau pra kemerdekaan dimana sarjana muslimnya yang pulang dari belajar di Timur Tengah mendorong masyarakatnya berjuang melawan kolonialisme dan menuntut kemerdekaan melalui tulisan mereka. Salah satu tulisan yang menerangkan konsep jihad dalam masyarakat Melayu adalah Baḥr al-Mādhī. Artikel ini menjelaskan konsep jihad dan perang dalam karya Baḥr al-Mādhī, satu karya terbaik sarjana muslim Melayu abad 20, yang ditulis oleh Muḥammad Idrīs al-Marbawī (1896-1989). Karya ini merupakan komentar terhadap kitab hadist Jāmi‘ al-Tirmidhī yang ditulis dalam bahasa Melayu. Artikel ini juga membahas kontribusi penting al-Marbawī dalam menjelaskan jihad dalam masyarakat Melayu masa pra kemerdekaan. Some students still have difficulty in learning Arabic. Various application platforms can be used by teachers as interesting learning media in the digital era. One of them is Quizizz, a game-based online learning media, it is very appropriate to use in the digital era to follow learning styles and increase students' enthusiasm for learning. So far, many have discussed Quizizz in learning, but no one has specifically discussed the process, weakness, and strengths of Quizizz. Therefore, this study focuses on exploring the perceptions of students who are not interested in the Arabic Language towards learning the Arabic Language using Quizizz media, which focuses on Arabic Vocabularies. The research method used in this research is case study with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study found that the strengths of using Quizizz were to foster student enthusiasm in competing because there was a ranking system that appeared after answering the quiz, and was flexible in its use because there was no need to download applications that would fill the cellphone memory. As for the weakness, Quizizz requires a stable internet, which will make students rush and carelessly in answering quizzes because of the time limit.

This research studies whether there is a significant relationship between the multiple intelligences of pre-service elementary teachers, their gender, and their performances. The survey method has been used for this study. A “Multiple Intelligence Profiling Questionnaire III (MIPQ-III)” was used to collect the multiple intelligences of the participants. Reliability-test has been used to see the consistency of the questionnaire. In order to analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, and Pearson correlation were used for this study. Results showed that naturalistic intelligence has the highest mean score. Meanwhile, logical-mathematics intelligence has the lowest mean score. Results also showed that logical-mathematic, verbal-linguistic, spatial, bodily-kinesthetics, and interpersonal intelligence have differences based on gender, while other intelligence has no differences. Furthermore, results also show that all intelligence, excluding naturalistic, positively correlates with the performances. Lastly, hierarchical regression shows that among the multiple intelligences, the logical-mathematics intelligence becomes a predictor for the performance of the pre-service elementary teachers. The implications of this study, such as the results, show a relationship between multiple intelligence and elementary school pre-service teachers. Besides that, it is found that the multiple intelligence of elementary pre-service teachers has a wide variety of impacts on the performance of those pre-service teachers in the future. Thus, it is expected that relevant stakeholders can better review these aspects, especially in the curriculum

The model of learning is one of the approaches of strategy that teachers must carry out in a systematic and procedural to regulate the activities of learning to achieve the goal of learning. The process of learning by using a model of learning inquiry can increase the activity of the students, the courage of students in revealing ideas and ideas, and improve students' science process skills in the physics learning process. The purpose of the research is to know how students' response to models of learning of inquiry was used at the time of learning physics and see whether the application of the model the students are more skilled in learning. Research is conducted in SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi on student grade X IPA 1, which aims to determine students' response when given an inquiry learning model during the process of learning physics. The instrument that is used is a questionnaire of students with a sample of 21 students. This study used a mixed-method with a sequential explanatory design. The descriptive statistics were employed in the data analysis technique to obtain the average, mode, median, minimum, and maximum values. Based on the findings of this study, it is possible to conclude that using inquiry learning models in physics learning can boost student activity, independence, and science skills. This is demonstrated by the students' responses in quite good categories. Students feel accountable for formulating, analyzing, and solving problems when using the inquiry learning methodology. So that students can learn physics in a more meaningful way, and the material is easier to retain. The student response rate to the learning model is rated as satisfactory.

The study aims to address the concept of wealth from the perspective of the Sharīʿah and its relationship to contemporary digital assets such as cryptocurrency (Bitcoin). The qualitative research approach is adopted for this research. The data is collected from several resources such as books, journal articles, reports, conferences papers, and websites. The data is analyzed through an explanatory research approach by providing scholars’ opinions and their arguments on the subject matter. The findings of this study show that Sharīʿah provides certain conditions to consider something as asset or currency from the Sharīʿah perspective. In regard to cryptocurrency (Bitcoin), the Sharīʿah rules vary based on the types of cryptocurrencies and whether cryptocurrency meets the conditions to be considered as currency or assets. Moreover, either cryptocurrency is an asset or currency, it should not contravene any Sharīʿah laws, such as ribā (interest) and gharar (uncertainty). Since Sharīʿah does not limit the currency to dirhams and dīnārs , Bitcoin can be considered as an alternative to the current currencies in a digital form. This would enable financial markets to move faster and secure transaction methods in the future. The policymakers might find this study beneficial to issue new guidelines and policy documents. The findings of the study might be interesting for cryptocurrency enthusiasts and investors to have a deeper understanding of cryptocurrency from the Sharīʿah viewpoint.

An anti-biofilm that can inhibit the matrix of biofilm formation is necessary to prevent recurrent and chronic Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection. This study aimed to design compounds with a new mechanism through competitive inhibitory activity against phosphomannomutase/phosphoglucomutase (PMM/PGM), using in vitro assessment and a computational (in silico) approach. The active site of PMM/PGM was assessed through molecular redocking using L-tartaric acid as the native ligand and other small molecules, such as glucaric acid, D-sorbitol, and ascorbic acid. The docking program set the small molecules to the active site, showing a stable complex formation. Analysis of structural similarity, bioavailability, absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity properties proved the potential application of ligands as an anti-biofilm. In vitro assessment with crystal violet showed that the ligands could reach up to 95.87% inhibition at different concentrations. The nitrocellulose membrane and scanning electron microscopic visualization showed that the untreated P. aeruginosa biofilm was denser than the ligand-treated biofilm.

The COVID-19 pandemic has made a huge impact on Malaysia since the first Movement Control Order (MCO) was implemented in March 2020. All sectors including the economic sector, tourism, services, sports, the religious sector and entertainment have been subjected to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), such as the wearing of face masks, hygienic care and physical distancing. Although compliance with the SOPs can still be questioned, it is undeniable that it has changed the society’s way of living in Malaysia as the people are urged to adopt and adapt to the new norms in order to combat the spread of the virus. In fact, social change in times of COVID-19 can be considered as a new ‘urf (custom) practiced by the whole Islamic world. The issue is that these new changes coming with the application of the various SOPs for virus prevention are claimed to be for the benefit of religion, health, economy and education. Through phenomenal methodologies/Using a phenomenological methodology, this study emphasizes two main objectives, that are, explaining social change due to COVID-19 in Malaysia and analysing the correlation between social change and the parameters of maqāsid al-sharī‘ah (the higher purposes of Shari’ah) in each new practice. In conclusion, it should be emphasized that the current social change must correspond with maqasid al-shari’ah especially in dealing with the matters of the religion. Viruses cause widely transmitted diseases resulting in pandemic conditions. Currently, the world is being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic caused by the SAR-CoV-2 infection. Countries in the world are competing to develop antivirals to overcome this problem. Diterpene compounds derived from natural ingredients (plants, corals, algae, fungi, sponges) and synthesized products have potential as antivirals. This article summarizes the different types of diterpenes such as daphnane, tiglilane, kaurane, abietane, pimarane, labdane, dollabelane, jatrophane, dolastane, prenylated guaiane, tonantzitlolone, casbane, have antivirals activity such as targeting HIV, Coxsackie virus, herpes virus, hepatitis virus, influenza virus, Chikungunya virus, Zika virus, dengue virus, and SARS-CoV. Some compounds such as andrographolide and its derivatives show promising activity in inhibiting the influenza virus. Additionally, compounds such as pineolidic acid, forskolin, sugiol, and many other diterpene compounds showed anti-SAR-CoV activity. The diterpene compound class's high antivirals potential does not rule out the possibility that these compounds can also act as anti-SAR-CoV-2 drugs in the future.

Technological capabilities in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 can facilitate the learning process. However, some Arabic language education students at Jambi University still find it difficult to learn Arabic and decide to change majors. This study finds out how the problems, opportunities, and roles of the Arabic language during the industrial revolution 4.0 in the Arabic language education study program at Jambi University. This research is a descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques: a) observation; b) interviews; and c) documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques include: a) data reduction; b) data presentation; c) conclusions. Triangulation and discussion has been use to validate the data. The results show that: a) the problems of learning Arabic, such as: 1) differences background for the students; 2) students are less interested in learning Arabic; 3) no Arabic speaking environment; and 4) lecturers have not mastered technology; b) opportunities: the ability to speak Arabic provides an opportunity to get or create jobs not only in the education sector, but also in other sectors; while c) the role of Arabic is one of international language, diplomatic communication between countries in various fields, and learning knowledge from original Arabic sources.

A magnetic Weyl semimetal is a recent focus of extensive research as it may exhibit large and robust transport phenomena associated with topologically protected Weyl points in momentum space. Since a magnetic texture provides a handle for the configuration of the Weyl points and its transport response, understanding of magnetic dynamics forms the basis for future control of a topological magnet. Mn3Sn is an example of an antiferromagnetic Weyl semimetal that exhibits a large response comparable to the one observed in ferromagnets despite a vanishingly small magnetization. The noncollinear spin order in Mn3Sn can be viewed as a ferroic order of cluster magnetic octupole and breaks the time‐reversal symmetry, stabilizing Weyl points and the significantly enhanced Berry curvature near the Fermi energy. Herein, the first observation of time‐resolved octupole oscillation in Mn3Sn is reported. Telah dilakukan optimasi geometri molekul, kajian hubungan kuantitatif aktivitas-struktur (HKSA) dan regresi multilinear (RML) terhadap senyawa turunan benzopirazin dengan substitusi gugus (R7) pendonor elektron seperti: -Br, -COOH, -NH2, -NH3, -OH dan -C5H6. Pemodelan struktur molekul telah dilakukan secara komputasi dengan menggunakan paket program Hyperchem 8.0.10. Hasil optimasi geometri menggunakan metode semi empiris AM1 menghasilkan energi total dari masing-masing senyawa dari senyawa A1-A6. Penentuan hubungan antara deskriptor yang meliputi Log P, Polari, SAG, SAA, EH, EHOMO, ELUMO, ΔEG, MD dan muatan bersih atom dengan aktivitas antimalaria (IC50Eksperimen) menunjukan terdapat korelasi. Deskriptor yang menunjukan terdapat adanya hubungan dengan aktivitas antimalaria (IC50Eksperimen) selanjutnya, ditentukan model persamaan HKSA terbaik dilakukan dengan analisis regresi multilinear menggunakan program SPSS 22. PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN SIKAP MAHASISWA TERHADAP MATA KULIAH FISIKA MATEMATIKA Abstract Attitude in college activity in college is very important. Attitude in the course can affect the success of students in following the lecture, as well as the attitude of students in the Mathematical Physics course. To know the attitude is required an instrument. In reality, however, it is difficult to find an attitude assessment instrument for Mathematics Physics courses. Therefore, a development research that aims to develop a student attitudinal assessment instrument on the Mathematical Physics course. This type of research is a research and development (R&D) developed by Sugiyono (2016). The test was conducted to determine the validity and reliability of the questionnaire. The results of questionnaire test that has been disseminated to 46 students who have contracted the mathematical physics course were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) technique. Based on research and development result, obtained 7 questionnaire indicator consisting of 61 items of valid statement. Based on the questionnaire analysis has a good validity for each question item. Reliability coefficient of each indicator obtained is equal to 0,927; 0.951; 0.921; 0.929; 0.963; 0.944; 0.962. Abstrak Sikap dalam kegiatan perkuliahan di perguruan tinggi sangatlah penting. Sikap dalam perkuliahan dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam mengikuti proses perkuliahan, demikian juga dengan sikap mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan Fisika Matematika. Untuk mengetahui sikap tersebut diperlukan sebuah instrument. Namun pada kenyataannya, sulit sekali mencari instrumen penilaian sikap terhadap mata kuliah Fisika Matematika. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian sikap mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah Fisika Matematika. Jenis penelian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development/R&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Sugiyono (2016). Uji coba dilakukan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas dari angket. Hasil uji coba angket yang telah disebar kepada 46 mahasiswa yang telah mengontrak mata kuliah fisika matematika dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik Partial Least Square (PLS).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan, diperoleh 7 indikator angket yang terdiri dari 61 item pernyataan yang valid. Berdasarkan analisis angket memliliki validitas yang baik untuk setiap item pertanyaan. As a country that once colonized by the British, Malaya indeed vulnerable to the influence of British ideology. This occurs through a mechanism of colonial knowledge developed by British to learn and dominate the Malay community. As a result of colonial influence can be traced in all aspects of Malay community life. The findings of this research show that the colonial has their own policies and approach when it comes to the issue of Islam in the Malay community. They try to kill the potential of Islam and replace it with the world-view and British paradigm then embed it into the community. The results of the Maqasid analysis on the legacy of colonial knowledge still prove too much effort to consolidate Islam should be done by Islamic scholars. Islamic scholars have to reject and correct negative outlook placed on Islam.

Pusat rawatan alternatif berasaskan Islam mahupun tradisional semakin lama semakin bertambah dan berkembang bak cendawan selepas hujan. Ini bertitik tolak dari sambutan menggalakkan masyarakat terhadap rawatan alternatif di Malaysia. Terutama sekali bagi penyakit yang tiada ikhtiar cara rawatan di hospital dan klinik kesihatan mahupun bagi para pesakit yang hampir putus harapan. Berdasarkan pemerhatian, di sebalik keghairahan masyarakat mencari kesembuhan di pusat rawatan alternatif, masih terkandung seribu satu macam permasalahan dan kemusykilan yang memerlukan penyelesaian berkesan. Bidang rawatan alternatif umpama jalan licin, jika tersilap langkah pasti akan tergelincir dari kebenaran. Selanjutnya, kajian ini juga dilakukan untuk mengenal pasti sebanyak mungkin permasalahan berkaitan metode rawatan yang terdiri dari amalan salah dan teknik meragukan dalam perubatan alternatif di Malaysia dan selanjutnya membahaskan keabsahannya menurut perspektif Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah. Metodologi utama yang digunakan dalam kajian ini ialah analisis terhadap 70 pusat rawatan alternatif sama ada terhadap pusat rawatan alternatif Islam mahupun pusat rawatan alternatif tradisional serta dilakukan juga kajian perpustakaan dalam mencari dalil keabsahan teknik dan kaedah rawatan untuk dijadikan panduan berguna kepada orang ramai.

The massive development of technology requires teachers to be able to utilise technology in the learning process. Self-efficacy has been considered as one of the important factors in explaining teachers' confidence in using technology. This study investigated the technological self-efficacy of preservice teachers and its relationship to gender, origin area, and major program. Quantitative research was conducted in Jambi University, Indonesia involving 122 preservice teachers. Descriptive statistics show that preservice teachers are quite confident in utilising technology for the learning process. Mann-Whitney's U test shows that gender is related to preservice teachers' technological self-efficacy, where males have high self-efficacy than females. On the other hand, origin area and major program are not associated with technological self-efficacy. Discussions and implications are further discussed.

Plant-derived natural products have consistently served as a rich source of bioactive compounds with potential therapeutic applications, particularly in anticancer treatments. These compounds have significantly contributed to advancements in drug discovery and development. Among the diverse array of plant species, the genus Shorea, which belongs to the family Dipterocarpaceae, has attracted attention due to its rich phytochemical profile and pharmacological properties. A bioassay-guided investigation of the wood of Shorea beccariana resulted in the isolation of 3-Omethylellagic acid 3'O-a-rhamnoside. The structure of this compound was determined using comprehensive structural elucidation techniques, including 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy, UV spectroscopy, and FTIR analysis. Pharmacokinetic studies on the isolated compound demonstrated positive results, meeting several criteria for drug candidates, including bioavailability, ADMET, and drug-likeness properties. Furthermore, in silico molecular docking analysis of the compound using Dock6 revealed its ability to inhibit cyclin-dependent kinase 9 (CDK9) and 17ß-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 (HSD17ß1) enzymes at molecular level, with a good conformational interaction and binding free energy of - 68.88 kcal/mol and -63.93 kcal/mol, respectively. The potent binding affinity of the compound with both target enzymes was found to be better than the reference inhibitors making it a highly promising candidate for an anticancer drug. However, further research on the molecular dynamic simulation and experimental validation (in vitro and in vivo studies) of the isolated compound is required to deeply understand the underlying mechanisms behind this interaction. Cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2) regulates cell cycle checkpoints in the synthesis and mitosis phases and plays a pivotal role in cancerous cell proliferation. The activation of CDK2, influenced by various protein signaling pathways, initiates the phosphorylation process. Due to its crucial role in carcinogenesis, CDK2 is a druggable hotspot target to suppress cancer cell proliferation. In this context, several studies have identified spirooxindoles as an effective class of CDK2 inhibitors. In the present study, three spirooxindoles (SOI1, SOI2, and SOI3) were studied to understand their inhibitory mechanism against CDK2 through a structure-based approach. Molecular docking and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations were performed to explore their interactions with CDK2 at the molecular level. The calculated binding free energy for the spirooxindole-based CDK2 inhibitors aligned well with experimental results regarding CDK2 inhibition. Energy decomposition (ED) analysis identified key binding residues, including I10, G11, T14, R36, F82, K89, L134, P155, T158, Y159, and T160, in the CDK2 active site and T-loop phosphorylation. Molecular mechanics (MM) energy was identified as the primary contributor to stabilizing inhibitor binding in the CDK2 protein structure. Furthermore, the analysis of binding affinity revealed that the inhibitor SOI1 binds more strongly to CDK2 compared to the other inhibitors under investigation. It demonstrated a robust interaction with the crucial residue T160 in the T-loop phosphorylation site, responsible for kinase activation. These insights into the inhibitory mechanism are anticipated to contribute to the development of potential CDK2 inhibitors using the spirooxindole scaffold. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Secondary metabolites such as phenolic and flavonoid from the plant are essential in their activity, especially activities related to the prevention of oxidation and the inhibition of xanthine oxidase. One plant that is believed to have prevention of oxidation and XOI and correlates with secondary metabolites is parang romang. The purpose of this study is to assess the antioxidant capacity and xanthine oxidase inhibitory activities of parang romang, and to examine their relationship with the TPC and TFC. Total phenolic and flavonoid were measured for all parts, and the DPPH, FRAP, and CUPRAC methods determined antioxidant capacity. The activity of xanthine oxidase inhibition was also assessed. Flavonoids, alkaloids, and coumarin were found in parang romang. The steroid/triterpenoid was found in the stem, leaves, and flower; saponin was in the roots and flower; quinone and tannin were only in the roots. The root gave the highest of TPC, while the flower had the highest TFC. The highest antioxidant capacity was found in roots, leaves, flowers, and stems. The highest xanthine oxidase inhibitory was given by leaves (9.74±0.14 µg/ml), followed by flower, steam, and rood. The correlation was shown between the phenolic and flavonoid quantities and the actions of antioxidants and xanthine oxidase inhibitors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Waqf is one of the Islamic philanthropies that can help improve the socio-economics of a society through humanitarian services and waqf is not limited to assets. In developing waqf property, the issue of manpower and management costs is a challenge for managers because it involves large and continuous funds. There is a need to clarify the law of using cash waqf to finance the cost of human resources. The objective of this study is to clarify the necessity of service waqf as well as its application in the development of waqf property through jurisprudential debate. This study uses a qualitative method by gathering the views of jurists regarding cash waqf, waqf benefit, and permanent conditions on mawqūf. The data is then analyzed and appropriate views are presented taking into account the current situation in Malaysia. The findings of the study show that the appropriate service waqf implementation is through the contribution of benefits to the public by donating the service wage payment to a waqf body. Therefore, the contribution of the benefit is named a service waqf scheme which consest of a voluntary contribution of expertise to the community. This kind of implementation is permissible according to the majority of jurists who allowed cash waqf. In order to encourage the community to give waqf through this scheme, the wāqif can get an income tax deduction from the amount of labor wages that is waqf. In addition, the company can introduce a program in the form of volunteering to encourage the contribution of expert energy for free by branding it as a service waqf contribution. Nanoencapsulation of G. procumbens with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) is intended to increase anti-dengue activity and prevent its bioactive deterioration. The particle size of Ga-NPs was 161.00 ± 2.17 nm with a PDI value of 0.33 ± 0.02 while the particle size of Gp-NPs was 136.33 ± 0.47 nm with a PDI value of 0.34 ± 0.01. Those indicated both Ga-NPs and Gp-NPs had a homogeneous particle size distribution. Moreover, both nanocapsules showed stability at 30-100oC but were less stable at high pH and salt concentrations. Ga-NPs have a %LE (96.236 ± 1.156%) higher than the %LE of Gp-NPs (95.567 ± 0.334 %), but release of Gp-NPs is better than Ga-NPs. G. procumbens extract, Ga-NPs, and Gp-NPs exhibited anti-dengue activity with IC50 values of 11.22, 7.67, and 12.75 µg/mL, respectively. However, Ga-NPs and Gp-NPs are more potent because they have higher SI values with low cytotoxicity (CC50) compared to G. procumbens extract. Herein, nanoencapsulation of G. procumbens is proved to increase bioavailability and controlled release and allow precision targeting of bioactive compounds to enhance bioactivity activity. An anti-biofilm that can inhibit the matrix of biofilm formation is necessary to prevent recurrent and chronic Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection. This study aimed to design compounds with a new mechanism through competitive inhibitory activity against phosphomannomutase/phosphoglucomutase (PMM/PGM), using in vitro assessment and a computational (in silico) approach. The active site of PMM/PGM was assessed through molecular redocking using L-tartaric acid as the native ligand and other small molecules, such as glucaric acid, D-sorbitol, and ascorbic acid. The docking program set the small molecules to the active site, showing a stable complex formation. Analysis of structural similarity, bioavailability, absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity properties proved the potential application of ligands as an anti-biofilm. In vitro assessment with crystal violet showed that the ligands could reach up to 95.87% inhibition at different concentrations. The nitrocellulose membrane and scanning electron microscopic visualization showed that the untreated P. aeruginosa biofilm was denser than the ligand-treated biofilm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The selection of food premises is an important practice that requires attention of Muslims. The emerging new trend of dietary culture has become one of the challenges for contemporary Muslims in ensuring halalan tayyiban aspect. Therefore, the selection criteria of food premises is crucial for Muslims, and this can be done through a concept known as wara’ (abstinence). This study is carried out to highlight the wara’ aspect within the selection criteria as well as in the decision-making process. This is because wara’ plays an important role when dealing with doubtful elements (syubhah). This research wholly utilized library research to obtain data and data was analysed qualitatively by using content analysis method. Based on findings, there are several forms of syubhah that can affect the halalan tayyiban status. Therefore, this study proposes a decision-making framework based on wara’ and syubhah. The study aims to address the concept of wealth from the perspective of the Sharīʿah and its relationship to contemporary digital assets such as cryptocurrency (Bitcoin). The qualitative research approach is adopted for this research. The data is collected from several resources such as books, journal articles, reports, conferences papers, and websites. The data is analyzed through an explanatory research approach by providing scholars' opinions and their arguments on the subject matter. The findings of this study show that Sharīʿah provides certain conditions to consider something as asset or currency from the Sharīʿah perspective. In regard to cryptocurrency (Bitcoin), the Sharīʿah rules vary based on the types of cryptocurrencies and whether cryptocurrency meets the conditions to be considered as currency or assets. Moreover, either cryptocurrency is an asset or currency, it should not contravene any Sharīʿah laws, such as ribā (interest) and gharar (uncertainty). Since Sharīʿah does not limit the currency to dirhams and dīnārs, Bitcoin can be considered as an alternative to the current currencies in a digital form. This would enable financial markets to move faster and secure transaction methods in the future. The policymakers might find this study beneficial to issue new guidelines and policy documents. Introduction: Boehmeria is a genus that has the potential to be natural medicine and also has benefit in industry. This genus consists of 82 plants that includes numerous species, subspecies, and varieties. The objective of this review is to provide an overview of chemical and pharmacological characteristics of Boehmeria genus based on research studies. Methods: The reference articles have DOI and were obtained through database from such as Science Direct and PubMed website to ensure their validity and reliable contents. This literature study was made by using minimum 50 literatures from the last 10 years. Results: There are 16 species of Boehmeria genus confirmed to have chemical compounds, and 9 species of which reported to exhibit pharmacological activity in the form of extracts and single compound isolates. Conclusion: Based on this study, it was known that some Boehmeria species contained abundance of Boehmeriasin A, boehmeriasin B, chlorogenic acid, epicatechin, (Z)-9,10,11-trihydroxy-12 octadecenoic acid, catechin, ß-sitosterol, rutin, luteolin-7-glucoside, naringin and hesperidin. The recent discoveries of strikingly large zero-field Hall and Nernst effects in antiferromagnets Mn3X (X = Sn, Ge) have brought the study of magnetic topological states to the forefront of condensed matter research and technological innovation. These effects are considered fingerprints of Weyl nodes residing near the Fermi energy, promoting Mn3X (X = Sn, Ge) as a fascinating platform to explore the elusive magnetic Weyl fermions. In this review, we provide recent updates on the insights drawn from experimental and theoretical studies of Mn3X (X = Sn, Ge) by combining previous reports with our new, comprehensive set of transport measurements of high-quality Mn3Sn and Mn3Ge single crystals. In particular, we report magnetotransport signatures specific to chiral anomalies in Mn3Ge and planar Hall effect in Mn3Sn, which have not yet been found in earlier studies. The results summarized here indicate the essential role of magnetic Weyl fermions in producing the large transverse responses in the absence of magnetization. The large anomalous Hall (AHE) and anomalous Nernst effects (ANE) in antiferromagnets Mn3Sn/Mn3Ge are considered fingerprints of Weyl nodes residing near the Fermi energy. Here, the authors review the results from previous studies combining with new transport measurements on Mn3Sn/Mn3Ge single crystals, suggesting the essential role of magnetic Weyl fermions in explaining the AHE and ANE. The animal farming or livestock sector is an initial screening point in ensuring national food safety. However, there have been numerous reports of misconduct and livestock outbreaks that farmers have not coped well with. In this regard, the objective of this study is to analyze the Prophetic tradition that addresses food safety issues in the livestock sector based on reviews of muhaddithin, in terms of adapting traditional practice into a modern practical instrument that can be used as an alternative or to add value to current food safety procedure. This study adopted the methods of inductive and deductive data analysis as well as content and thematic analysis. This article intends to analyze the fatwās to identify factors of that differences and to find juristic justification of the fatwās. Wealth or property is an essential part of Muslim life whether it is related to religious affairs or life preservation. Therefore, the trust property management aspect should be emphasized in preserving the benefits of society, especially Muslims. For this reason, this study will review the management of Muslim property trusts in Malaysia and issues related to it. This study was conducted based on a qualitative approach in identifying issues that arose in the management of property trusts. The findings show that there are some issues especially in the management of zakat, waqf, bequeathal and inheritance have become polemic and debate in Malaysia. A patient-specific implant is a designed implant that considers the needs of a specialized patients condition. In several surgical cases, the implant design needs to be adjusted based on the patient bones surface to suit the bone morphometry. This study aims to conduct the finite element analysis to investigate the stress distribution alongside the plate to consider clinical implementation. A bone plate has been designed following an adult pelvic bone shape for the pelvic fractures clinical case management. An FEA was accomplished to analyse the implant designs performance and estimate the installations clinical failures before the manufacturing process. The FEA calculation achieved the highest number of von misses stresses (VM) on the pelvic bone plate by 3.616 MPa. The obtained VM number on the simulation is smaller than the yield strength of Ti6Al4V. It concludes that the customized iliac plates design using Ti6Al4V can have excellent mechanical strength and can withstand the loading. Additional similar simulation using another software strengthen the results.

Zakah (Islamic almsgiving) on shares are generally mentioned indirectly in classical fiqh books. This is due to the fact that the practice of shares is relatively new in classical Islamic jurisprudence literature. However, the basis of the debate on shares can be traced to its establishment and development in the classical fiqh discourse. Muslim individual and Muslim-operated companies have been involved in investment and share-trading, thus creating the debate of zakah on shares in Malaysia. Therefore, the objective of this study is to highlight the discussion of zakah on shares based on the reality in Malaysia. As a country that once colonized by the British, Malaya indeed vulnerable to the influence of British ideology. This occurs through a mechanism of colonial knowledge developed by British to learn and dominate the Malay community. As a result of colonial influence can be traced in all aspects of Malay community life. The findings of this research show that the colonial have their own policies and approach when it comes to the issue of Islam in the Malay community. They try to kill the potential of Islam and replace it with world-view and British paradigm then embed it into the community. The results of the Maqasid analysis on the legacy of colonial knowledge still prove too much effort to consolidate Islam should be done by Islamic scholars. The development of knowledge in the field of medicine in Malaysia in something that is well known. This occurs as the result of the development in science and technology that spread globally nowadays. This development also become the basis that spark many moral questions as well as Islamic jurisprudential issues, until the fiqh of medicine becomes among the subject of discussion and research interest to the Muslim intellectual today. Among these issues are the Advance Medical Directive (AMD). AMD is a legal document that was made by an individual to outline his wishes and preferences in regard to medical treatments and interventions in the event that he becomes terminally ill and unconscious. The AMD inflicted the question whether it is permissible or go against the sharia. So, this study was conducted using the qualitative approach to analyse the position of AMD from the perspective of maslahah. This study shows that AMD is permissible in the sharia but in some conditions it must refers to the maslahah perspective to execute or null any wishes and preferences that was made in the AMD.
