4. Discrete-time quantum walk approach to high-dimensional quantum state transfer and quantum routing

Abstract

High-dimensional quantum systems can offer extended possibilities and multiple advantages while developing advanced quantum technologies. In this paper, we propose a class of quantum-walk architecture networks that admit the efficient routing of high-dimensional quantum states. Perfect state transfer of an arbitrary unknown qudit state can be achieved between two arbitrary nodes via a one-dimensional lackadaisical discrete-time quantum walk. In addition, this method can be generalized to the high-dimensional lattices, where it allows distillable entanglement to be shared between arbitrary input and output ports. Implementation of our scheme is more feasible through exploiting the coin degrees of freedom and the settings of the coin flipping operators are simple. 6. Generalized quantum teleportation of shared quantum secret with quantum walks

Abstract

Very recently, Lee et al. proposed the first secure quantum teleporation protocol, where quantum information shared by an arbitrary number of senders can be transferred to another arbitrary number of receivers. Here, by introducing quantum walks, a novel secure (n,m) quantum teleportation of shared quantum secret between n senders and $m$ receivers is presented. Firstly, two kinds of (n,2) teleportation schemes are proposed by n-walker quantum walks on the line, the first walker of which is driven by three coins, respectively, based on two kinds of coin operators: the homogeneous coins and the position-dependent coins. Secondly, by increasing the amount of the coins of the first walker to m+1, the previous (n,2) scheme can be generalized to (n,m) teleportation scheme. Then, we give the proof of the information security of our proposed scheme, in which neither any single nor subparties of senders and receivers can fully access the secret quantum information. Moreover, the projective measurements are needed, instead of the joint Bell measurements that are necessary in Lee et al.'s protocol. Our work can also be extended further to QWs on the cycle. This work provides an additional relevant instance of the richness of quantum walks for quantum information processing tasks and thus opens the wider application purpose of quantum walks., Comment: 12 pages

Abstract

In this letter, for the discrete parity-time-symmetric nonlocal nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equation, we construct the Darboux transformation, which provides an algebraic iterative algorithm to obtain a series of analytic solutions from a known one. To illustrate, the breathing-soliton solutions, periodic-wave solutions and localized rational soliton solutions are derived with the zero and plane-wave solutions as the seeds. The properties of those solutions are also discussed, and particularly the asymptotic analysis reveals all possible cases of the interaction between the discrete rational dark and antidark solitons., Comment: 9 pages, 3 figures

Abstract

In order to improve the control of land use in China, taking Sunan Yugur Autonomous County in the Qilian Mountains area as an example, this paper explores the method of national ecological space delimitation and zoning based on ARCGIS platform. Three kinds of space division techniques are formed to unify natural resources survey data, carry out land spatial suitability evaluation, delimit three kinds of space and optimize natural ecological space division. According to existing laws in China, based on ecological protection red line, natural ecological space is divided into ecological protection red line and general ecological space. According to the regulation requirements and the functional division of various protected areas, the red line area of ecological protection is divided into core protected area, ecological restoration area, traditional utilization and recreation area with the area of 3 947.28, 3 216.89 and 6 936.56 km2, respectively. In view of the prominent problems in the process of delimitation and zoning of natural ecological space, some suggestions are put forward, such as unification of chassis, optimization of ecological protection red line and coordination and unification of management boundary.

48. Distribution and evolutionary in household energy-related CO2emissions (HCEs) based on Chinese north–south demarcation

Abstract

Household energy-related CO2emissions (HCEs) are significant sources of increased CO2emissions in China. Understanding the distribution and evolution of HCEs in different geographical areas is favorable for low-carbon development and climate change mitigation. However, there has been little research on this topic, especially in geographical demarcation areas. Here, using prefecture-level cities traversed by the Qinling mountains–Huaihe river line (Qinling–Huaihe line) as the study areas, we quantified the HCEs based on statistical and nighttime light data from 2000 to 2017. We revealed the evolutionary trends and structural changes of HCEs and looked into how HCEs are impacted by social and natural factors. The results show that northern regions tend to have higher HCEs than southern regions at similar longitudes, and this trend remains stable for a long period of time due to the long-term and stable living habits and consumption behaviors with regional characteristics. Cities with the highest HCEs are located in the central region, followed by the eastern region, and the lowest in the western. The longitude evolution of HCEs is centered on medium-emission cities, which moved eastward from 111–117°E and turned major aggregation of medium-high emissions up to 2015 by the economic driving force. The distribution of fixed crosses is inconsistent with the HCEs and energy structure, demonstrating the counteracting effects of energy structure optimization on HCEs are far less than the promoting effects of energy demand. Although HCEs increased as GDP and population increased, these effects were partially offset when adjusting for urban layout and human activity density. This paper provides a reference for reducing CO2emissions in the geographical demarcation areas and puts forward policy suggestions.
