This study aims to identify the problems that landscape design students face when using Zoom as an educational platform for distance learning purposes and determine their level of satisfaction with distance learning. The main research method was a Likert-scale survey used to assess students’ satisfaction with distance learning. The sample included 90 full-time students enrolled in the garden and landscape construction program. According to the students, the main difficulties in distance learning were systemic errors during the use of the platform. The results can help develop a set of measures to solve and alleviate the identified problems in the future. The findings will enhance the optimization of distance education in general. Future research can focus on the advantages and disadvantages of online educational platforms and explore how user-friendly they are for both students and faculty. Studies can also describe faculty barriers to quality online education and provide suggestions to create a comfortable learning experience for landscape students. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The article addresses the role of works of art as pictorial sources in the restoration of the Russian manor. Given the fact that historical research is facing growing complex challenges, there is a need to consider sources that previously were considered as auxiliary. First of all, this applies to works of art. Pictorial sources are no less important than any other is. As a confirmation of this fact, the article reviews the works of K.K. Kolman, G.A. Bosse, V.V. Kabanov, N.A. Kiselev, Y.N. Raukh, and a painting by an unknown artist of the mid–19th century. Using these artworks as an example, the significance of works of art in the restoration of the historical appearance of a Russian manor, the Semyonovskoye-Otrada manor, is evaluated. A conclusion is drawn whether it is possible to use exclusively works of art for the organization restoration work or whether other sources are also needed.

This paper presents a project for the reorganization and conservation of the cultural heritage site "A.N. Kraft's Estate at Kostino, early 20th century" and analyses the historical and analytical aspects of the design. The project, involving restoration and further development of a significant historical part of the city of Korolev, Moscow Oblast, seeks to reorganize the space and adapt the cultural heritage objects located in the area to modern use. The project was evaluated by means of the resource planning method, which enables a qualitative assessment of the concept to be implemented. In conclusion, the authors outline basic approaches to the development of a concept for reorganization of an area with existing cultural heritage objects.

The changing labor market sets new requirements for specialists in the field of design. It is essential to adapt the educational process and its elements to the needs of producing competitive graduates, including in the subject area of spatial design. The specifics of this subject area dictate that higher school teachers employ the most effective methods and techniques in the disciplines that make up the course. It is important to not only familiarize students with the terminology, basic concepts and historical prerequisites of spatial design but also highlight the specifics of spatial design in its diversity. The article reviews the competences and identifies the core skills that a spatial designer must have in order to be competitive on the labor market.

The purpose of the study is to identify trends and future models for the innovative development of Russian Federation. Paper deals with the innovative development of the leading countries of world economic growth. Particular attention is given to «neoindustrialization» of economically developed countries and innovative nature of clustering of economic space. The modern factors of global competitiveness and economic content of the innovative transformation of the economy is specified. Theoretical approaches and tendencies of innovative transformation of economy are proved. The authors identified scientific, technological, production, spatial-territorial and institutionalmarket aspects of innovative transformation. Paper includes the differentiation of the States-leaders of industrial production in the context of key indicators of global competitiveness. The transformation model of innovative economy formation is presented, the indicators of global competitiveness of the Russian Federation are considered. The authors propose structural and logical scheme of innovative transformation of the national economic system of the Russian Federation is developed. The main ideas of such notions as "innovation performance", "innovation activity"," innovative capacity", "institutional environment" were specified in the work. The peculiar features of the notions in course of institutionalization of innovation economy were taken into account which made it possible structure the research and make specification of the given notions. Besides, the peculiarities and regularities of development of innovation performance and institutional environment in their dialectical unity and objective contradiction were revealed.
