With the widespread use of power electronics in power system generates a lot of harmonics, voltage imbalance and reactive power demand, causing serious power quality problems. Harmonics and reactive power are the two important indicators for measuring grid power quality. Thus, reducing harmonics is an utmost task. With the increasingly severe energy crisis, development and utilization of new energy are inevitable. This paper designs a The DSAPF for improving power quality has great market application value. The ANFIS SMC based DSAPF control method is proposed for dealing with the abnormalities in supply in order to provide quality power to load. In control strategy, ANFIS SMC controller is proposed and compared their performance in terms of %THD and power factor at PCC. The performance of the proposed system is analyzed for distorted source and unbalanced source conditions. The proposed control strategies are verified by using MATLAB/SMULINK environment.

Range anxiety is the predominent desolation among the electric vehicles (EV's) possessors that caused by drivers ambiguity in relation to vehicle's energy needed to arrivea targeted place and state of charge (SoC). This paper proposes an intelligent control algorithm for real time range estimation, indication of various parameters and generates alerts in the smart phone using Internet of Things (IoT). This algorithm determines the amount of charge present in battery and how much distance can an electric vehicle move with the remaining power available. Intelligent controller also improves the battery performance and lifetime. Thereby the integrated system of range estimator and crash detector will make the electric vehicles more smarter.

Substantial growth in modern innovations demands more power from utility. To cope with drastic power demand on grid renewable sources have been integrated. This makes more complex power system as these integrated sources more dynamic in nature. Intelligent usage of renewable sources leads to optimal and reliable power structure. This paper provides an optimal usage of renewable source for unified controlling action to compensate power quality issues on multi distribution feeders. Proposed Unified Multi Converter Controller (UMCC) effectively alleviates power quality issues like harmonics, imperfections in current and voltage on multi feeder. ANFIS based harmonics alleviation is studied and compared with traditional control error tuning. Here, Photovoltaic source is considered. Proposed three phase system is analyzed in MATLAB\SIMULINK platform with variable load and supply voltage conditions.
