The relationship between digital finance and regional green innovation has been partially confirmed, yet the role of environmental regulation in it remains unexplored. Therefore, this paper examines the impact of digital finance on regional green innovation and tests the moderating role of environmental regulation using Chinese city-level data from 2011 to 2019 as a research sample. The results show that digital finance can significantly promote regional green innovation by alleviating regional financing constraints and increasing regional R&D investment. Besides, digital finance has apparent regional difference effects (the contribution of digital finance to regional green innovation is greater in eastern China than in western China, and the development of digital finance in neighbouring regions has a negative transmission effect on local green innovation). Finally, environmental regulation positively moderates the relationship between digital finance and regional green innovation. As a product of combining digital technology and traditional finance, digital inclusive finance plays a vital role in economic growth. This paper deeply analyzes the impact of digital inclusive finance on economic growth and the specific transmission path. This research selects the municipal panel data of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei from 2011 to 2020 and empirically studies the impact of digital inclusive finance on economic growth. From the perspectives of industrial structure transformation speed, industrial structure upgrading, and industrial structure rationalization, this study analyzes the role of industrial structure in the impact of digital inclusive finance on economic growth and tests the heterogeneity of the impact of digital inclusive finance on economic growth. The results show that digital inclusive finance has a significant role in promoting economic growth. The depth of use of digital inclusive finance has the most significant impact, followed by the breadth of coverage, and the degree of digitization is the smallest. The industrial structure transformation speed and the industrial structure rationalization play a significant intermediary role in the economic growth effect of digital inclusive finance, and the industrial structure upgrading has no significant impact on the economic growth effect of digital inclusive finance; the promotion effect of digital inclusive finance on economic growth is bigger in the economically developed group, the higher digital inclusive finance group and the technologically developed group, and the promotion effect is smaller in the economically underdeveloped group, the lower digital inclusive finance group and the technologically underdeveloped group. Achieving high-quality development of the city requires actively promoting coordinated digitalization and low-carbon development. Previous studies have focused on the unidirectional impact of urban digitalization on low-carbonization and there is a lack of research on their interactions. This study uses the generalized spatial three-stage least squares method and the spatial simultaneous equation to investigate the endogenous interactions between urban digitalization and low-carbonization. The properties of the spatiotemporal evolution are then examined using linked coordination degree models, kernel density, and spatial statistical approaches. Finally, using the spatial panel metering model, this study empirically investigates the motivations behind the synergistic advancement of digitalization and low-carbonization. The results show that: (1) There is an endogenous interaction between urban digitalization and low-carbonization and that this interaction pattern is closely linked to geographical proximity. (2) In general, both urban digitalization and low-carbonization have a positive spatial impact and a negative spatial interaction, and their coordination levels have a significant spatial impact. (3) Throughout the research period, the coordination degree of urban digitalization and low carbonization continued to increase, showing a positive spatial correlation and a balanced development trend. (4) Economic development, industrial structure, and human capital accumulation are vital internal drivers of the synergistic advancement of urban digitalization and low carbonization. Government capacities and technological innovations are key external factors that contribute to the synergistic advancement of urban digitalization and low-carbonization. China's digital economy development is a strategic decision to construct a new development model for the nation's economic growth and to pave the way to fostering high-quality economic growth. Since the Chinese government first introduced its strategy for developing digital economy in 2016, the Chongqing Municipal Government has responded positively by implementing various policy initiatives. This paper examines and evaluates the overall level of Chongqing's digital economy from 2014 to 2021 and analyses the development process through a mixed research method. The results show a growth trend of continuous improvement, with the speed of digital economy development in Chongqing significantly accelerating after 2017. However, there are still some challenges, such as weak innovation capacity, lagging digital service capability, imbalance in the internal structure of digital economy, and uneven development within the region. Therefore, Chongqing must make some efforts to support the advance of digital economy by developing infrastructure, cultivating market players, and enhancing innovation capabilities, thereby forming a solid foundation for growth. As we enter the digital era, the digital economy provides an opportunity for China's manufacturing industry to achieve 'smart manufacturing' and provides important support for China to move from a 'big manufacturing country' to a 'strong manufacturing country'. This paper constructs an indicator system for the level of digital economy development in Chinese cities by determining the connotation of China's digital economy based on the characteristics of its digital economy development. Based on the application of entropy value method to measure the level of digital economy development of cities, we empirically investigate the impact of the level of digital economy development of cities on the innovation efficiency of manufacturing industry using mixed panel data of listed Chinese A-share manufacturing companies and cities from 2011 to 2019. The empirical study finds that the level of urban digital economy development is conducive to improving the overall innovation efficiency, innovation quality efficiency and innovation quantity efficiency of enterprises, and overall, the digital economy has a significant contribution to the innovation efficiency of manufacturing industry. There is regional, firm size and industry heterogeneity in the impact of urban digital economy development level on manufacturing innovation efficiency, and this heterogeneity is further manifested in the types of manufacturing innovation efficiency. The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems and economic growth at the urban level from the knowledge-based view. This paper also scrutinizes the moderating roles of industrial diversities and digital technology service. Based on the data of 32 cities in China from 2008 to 2018, the findings show that entrepreneurial ecosystems' development promotes municipal economic growth significantly via knowledge creation and knowledge flow. Moreover, industrial diversity and digital technology service are found to positively moderate the relationship between entrepreneurial ecosystems' development and the urban economic growth. This study extends the literature on entrepreneurial ecosystems and regional economic development at the urban level from the perspective of knowledge-based view. With the continuous promotion of digitalization and the global trend toward a low-carbon economy, the issue of whether enterprises can enhance their carbon performance with the assistance of digital technology has aroused widespread attention from both academia and industry. In order to explore whether digital technology can improve the carbon performance of manufacturing enterprises, this study, based on resource orchestration theory and signaling theory, utilizes data from China's A-share manufacturing enterprises from 2012 to 2021 to empirically investigate the relationship between digital technology and the carbon performance of manufacturing firms. It also explores the mediating conduction path and boundary influencing factors between them. Its findings demonstrate that: digital technology is capable of improving carbon performance; green innovation (including green technology and green collaboration) has partially mediating effects; there is a catalytic role for environmental information disclosure in utilizing digital technology to enhance carbon performance. Building on this, we find that the impacts of digital technology, green innovation, and environmental information disclosure on carbon performance vary due to differences in the nature of industries and the strategic aggressiveness of enterprises. Specifically, the role of digital technology on carbon performance seems somewhat more pronounced among firms in the high-tech industry and those employing defensive and analytical strategies. Additionally, the effects generated by green innovation and environmental information are more pronounced in the hightech industry and among enterprises that adopt analytical strategies. This study reveals the inherent mechanism of digital technology in enhancing the carbon performance of manufacturing enterprises, which provides empirical evidence for the development of digital technology and the improvement of carbon performance in manufacturing enterprises, thus helping promote low-carbon economic transformation. The expansion of the breadth of coverage and depth of use of digital finance greatly improves the efficiency of financial services to the real economy, and has an important impact on the economic development of local governments in China. This paper takes the provincial local government debt risk data from 2011 to 2020 as the research sample to deeply investigate the effect and mechanism of digital finance on local government debt risk. The results show that, firstly, digital finance can effectively suppress local government debt risk, and a significant long-term suppressive effect is found by quantile model test. Secondly, in the mechanism of action test, digital finance effectively alleviates local government debt risk through the path of local government fiscal transparency, and has played a significant regulating effect. Finally, based on different regions and development levels, the effect of digital finance on local government debt risk is found to be more significant in eastern regions and regions with high urbanization levels. As the integration and innovation of digital technology and taxation, the blessing of digital technology maximizes integration and precision, which can effectively meet the needs of higher stages of economic development. Perfect and inclusive development has become an important support for sustainable and healthy economic development. At present, behind the rapid economic growth, human economic activities have led to the emergence of an ecological and environmental crisis. The growth mode characterized by high input, high consumption support, and high emissions has resulted in insufficient supply of regional ecological and environmental resources, pollution, and damage to the ecological environment and also intensified. Therefore, this paper first examines the concept of digital finance and its enlightenment to economic development, and believes that digital finance has a good role in promoting economic development. Second, an evaluation model for the relationship between environmental environment and economic development is established, and an evaluation index system is obtained. The main objectives of this study incorporate the ecological environment index (ENV) and the digital economy index (DIG) into the environmental Kuznets (EKC) model and examine the income effects, scale effects, structural effects, technology effects, and government expenditures on the ecological environment, collating panel data for 31 provincial administrative regions in China over the period 2011–2019. The panel entropy value method was first applied to calculate the ecological environment index (ENV) and the digital economy composite index (DIG). Secondly, a threshold effect test is conducted with the digital economy as the threshold variable, and it is found that there are two threshold values in the model. From the threshold regression results, the impact of the digital economy on the ecological environment shows a positive "U" shape. At this stage, except for individual years in each province, most of the provinces are in the second half of the positive "U" curve. The coefficients of the income effect and scale effect are not significant, while the coefficients of structural effect and technology effect and government expenditure are significantly positive. From the results of the study, it is clear that the digital economy has a significant contribution to the improvement of the ecological environment in China at this stage. Policymakers should go further to promote the development of the digital economy while encouraging regional industrial structure optimization and increasing technological input support to ensure that the environment and economic development are coordinated in the digital economy era. In the context of a unified large market, the development of digital economy has become the focus. Based on the panel data of 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2020, this paper uses the spatial Durbin model to examine the impact of government spending on digital economy through different spatial weight matrices. The research results show that: 1) The government science and technology expenditure in all provinces in China has a significant positive spatial correlation with the level of digital economy development; 2) The comparative analysis of different weight matrices show that the impact of local government science and technology expenditure on the level of digital economy development is significant and positive, and there is a certain spatial spillover effect; 3) Through the heterogeneity test, the spillover effect of the central and western regions of China is more obvious under the setting of the geographical weight matrix, and the spillover effect of the east is more obvious under the setting of the economic matrix weight. At the same time, this study expands the research on the influencing factors of the development level of the digital economy, and puts forward policy recommendations corresponding to government science and technology expenditure and the development of the digital economy based on the empirical results. Internet and digital technologies have facilitated copyright sharing in an unprecedented way, creating significant tensions between the free flow of information and the exclusive nature of intellectual property. Copyright owners, users, and online platforms are the three major players in the copyright system. These stakeholders and their relations form the main structure of the copyright-sharing economy. Using China as an example, this paper provides a tripartite perspective on the copyright ecology based on three categories of sharing, namely unauthorized sharing, altruistic sharing, and freemium sharing. The line between copyright owners, users, and platforms has been blurred by rapidly changing technologies and market forces. By examining the strategies and practices of these parties, this paper illustrates the opportunities and challenges for China's copyright industry and digital economy. INTRODUCTION: With the development of digital technology and computer technology, the theory of digital economy has also had far-reaching development, but at present, the digital economy is still not able to clearly define whether the digital economy is good or bad for the high-quality development of China's economy. Therefore, it is necessary to research the spillover effect of the digital economy and the high-quality development of the economy with the help of embedded system technology. OBJECTIVES: To solve the issue of the poor coupling between the digital economy and high-quality development, to raise the degree of China's digital economic development, to improve the high energy consumption in the course of China's economic high-quality development, and to improve the application level of system technology in the study of China's economic development. METHODS: The digital economy model is established using the entropy weight method; its efficiency is evaluated using embedded system technology; the spillover effect analysis of high-quality development is then conducted using the digital economy index; and lastly, the overall assessment of the spillover effect is conducted using the comprehensive evaluation results of the entropy weight method. RESULTS: Embedded system technology has a noticeable promotion effect on the development of the digital economy; although the development of the digital economy and economic high-quality development are poorly coupled, their promotion effect is more significant; embedded system technology can indirectly promote the development of economic high-quality development through the digital economy. CONCLUSION: China should vigorously develop embedded system technology to promote the application of new technology in the economy and should further standardize the market economic order to maintain the orderly development of the digital economy. In the context of China's new stage of economic development, this study examines the role of higher education in China's high quality economic development (HQED) strategy from a digital perspective. Using panel data of 30 Chinese provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) collected from 2012–2020, comprehensive evaluations of the level of higher education and HQED are conducted through the entropy method, and a regression analysis is carried out with the fixed effect model. The results show that the level of higher education is positively associated with HQED and is able to achieve this effect through mechanisms that actively promote digital innovation and development. Further, the structure and quality of higher education plays a greater part in facilitating digital development than the scale and quantity. The heterogeneity analysis demonstrates that the impact of higher education on HQED is more significant in the eastern region of China than in the western region. An increase in the proportion of fiscal expenditure to GDP diminishes the impact of higher education on HQED, while an improvement in digital governance level enhances its influence. The objective of this study is to investigate unique impacts of digital transformation on economic, environment, and social progresses on the quality of life improvement in China. Environmental statistical data on the impact of investments in social, state, and other spheres of economic activity are analysed at the machine learning level. Application of high-performance computing (HPC) and big data technologies for obtaining data on socio-economic statistics in real-time, the presence of feedback in the Web 4.0 concept, transfer of a significant part of economic processes to internet platforms provide the information necessary for analysis. As a result, a basis is proposed for implementing software products in the form of institutional decision-making support systems for a long horizon of planning investments in the quality of life. Formulation of the problem. The digital economy is developing rapidly, and the digital technologies represented by the platform economy have not only become a new engine for promoting social and economic development, but also create new challenges for traditional resource allocation and market supervision. The purpose of the article is the theoretical and practical aspects of the formation and development of the model of network platforms in China and their impact on the formation of the digital economy. Research methodology - using the method of systemic analysis and synthesis, axiological, compartist, general philosophical - generalization, comparison, historical and logical, general civilizational, humanistic, a comparative and holistic analysis of the phenomenon of China's digital economy, which is formed on the basis of its platform type, was carried out. Research on the platform economy first began in the 1970s, but in recent years, due to the deep integration of digital technology and the real economic society, the rise of the Internet economy, and the development of trading platforms and social platforms, the platform has transformed into a business. The novelty of the article is that the new phenomenon of the platform economy is investigated as a new type and model of China's digital economy. At the end of 2020, China released the draft Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Online Transactions and Anti-Monopoly Guidelines in the Platform Economy, followed by the introduction of Data Security. The directions of the development of big data as the basis of the new platform economy have been identified. Green innovation activities of enterprises often fall into the dilemma of financing constraints. Hence, it is urgent that the financial system develops and becomes innovative, especially for a developing country like China. Existing literature mainly explores the influencing factors of green innovation from the environmental regulation, economic growth and government subsidies perspective. However, few papers critically study how digital finance influences green innovations. To explore the internal influencing mechanism of digital finance on the quantity and quality of green technology innovation, panel data of 271 prefecture-level cities from 2011 to 2019 in China is used. Based on theoretical analysis and empirical research, we get the following conclusions. First, digital finance can improve the quantity and quality of green technological innovation, which has become a significant driving force for green innovations in China. The results are still robust after the endogeneity tests. Second, the results of heterogeneous analysis indicate that the different dimensions of digital finance can improve green innovations. They include breadth of coverage, depth of use, and degree of digitization. The positive effect of digital finance is most substantial in eastern cities, followed by central cities, and weakest in western cities. Third, digital finance indirectly improves green innovation mainly by alleviating financing constraints.
