Given the global challenge of increasing teacher attrition and turnover rates, the exploration of factors and mechanisms that improve teachers' organizational commitment has become a pivotal topic in educational research. In this context, the present study examines the influence of teachers' emotional intelligence on their organizational commitment, with a specific inquiry into the mediating role of teachers' psychological well-being and the moderating role of principal transformational leadership, as informed by the broaden-and-build theory of positive emotions and the trait activation theory. We verified this study's hypotheses based on 768 valid questionnaires collected from Chinese primary and secondary school teachers. The results reveal that teachers' emotional intelligence can predict their organizational commitment both directly and indirectly through the mediating role of psychological well-being. Additionally, principal transformational leadership amplifies the positive effect of teachers' emotional intelligence on psychological well-being and, subsequently, organizational commitment. These findings theoretically deepen our understanding of the psychological pathways and the boundary conditions linking teachers' emotional intelligence to their organizational commitment, while also offering valuable practical implications for building a stable and effective teaching workforce. This study proposed a conceptual model and examined the nature of the relationship between transformational leadership (TFL), perceived organisational support (POS), employee engagement (EE), and organisational commitment (OC) among employees in the Indian IT sector. It then examined the mediating effect of EE on the relationship between TFL, POS, and OC. The partial least squares equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was applied to validate the conceptual model. The findings revealed that TFL, POS and EE were significantly and positively related to OC. TFL had a greater significant effect on OC than POS. EE was found to partially mediate the relationship between TFL, POS, and OC. Control variables had a weak effect on EE and OC. However, Multigroup Analysis (MGA) revealed a significant difference in the EE of TFL between the lower and middle level managers. The findings confirm that direct policymakers and HR departments influence TFL and EE by adopting organisational interventions. The study aims to analyze the effects of transformational leadership and the perception of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the commitment and organizational citizenship of managers in one of the largest banking institutions in Latin America. Based on the literature review, six hypotheses were developed and tested using structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), gathering evidence from 163 managers. The main findings reveal that for the sample investigated, transformational leadership and CSR directly influence organizational commitment, and indirectly influence organizational citizenship. It was also found that transformational leadership encourages the development of CSR awareness. The findings indicate that the effort to maintain a socially responsible company brings benefits in organizational commitment and leads to a positive benefit in organizational citizenship. Thus, the expectation is that there will be more and more socially responsible companies, encouraging CSR practices through programs, courses and training and delivering CSR values, which has repercussions for society, since with these traits and stimuli, people tend to work in a more committed way and with positive behavior coming from employees, there is greater employability, personal development and motivation for these professionals, in addition to eventually being able to generate benefits for the region. This study aims to investigate the relationships among transformational leadership, followers' innovative behavior, commitment to change, and organizational support for creativity. First, we examine the mediating role of commitment to change in the relationship between transformational leadership and followers' innovative behavior, using both objective and subjective measures. Our results reveal that commitment to change indeed mediates this relationship. Second, we analyze whether the link between commitment to change and followers' innovative behavior is moderated by organizational support for creativity. We find that this relationship is stronger for individuals with high organizational support for creativity compared to those with low support. Empirical analysis was conducted using data collected from 535 managers in 11 subsidiaries of a financial institution in South Korea. This study contributes to the management discipline by resolving mixed outcomes between transformational leadership and followers' innovation and highlighting the influence of commitment to change and perceived organizational support for creativity on innovative behavior. This study was conducted to determine the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of correctional officers at the Super Maximum-Security Prison in Indonesia which is influenced by Transformational Leadership (TL) either directly or indirectly through Affective Organizational Commitment (AOC), Job Satisfaction (JS) and Job Self-Efficacy (JSE). This research was conducted on 224 prison officers as a sample size. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. Robustness was built in two stages; the first stage was through a try out of research instruments and the second stage was through data collection which was done with the time lagged method. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of AMOS 24 software. The results of this study indicate that triple mediation consisting of AOC, JS and JSE fully mediates the effect of TL on OCB. The novelty of this research lies in the role of triple mediation as the focuses of the study. Furthermore, the triple mediation has been proven to fully mediate the effect of TL on OCB thus may serve as empirical evidence that contribute to theoretical and practical developments in the fields of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. Orientation: Organisations are facing several challenges pertaining to effective leadership, fairness and loyalty of employees. The moderating influence of transformational leadership (TL) on the relationship between justice and employee commitment is still largely unknown and needs to be explored further, especially within the customer service industry. Research purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between organisational justice and employee commitment and to examine the moderating effect of TL on the relationship between organisational justice and employee commitment in a customer service organisation. Motivation for the study: The research setting of this study is a customer service organisation. This organisation calls for a role model leadership approach, such as TL, to create a just, fair workplace and ultimately increase the level of employee commitment. Research approach/design and method: A quantitative cross-sectional survey design was used to collect the data from a sample of 111 permanently employed staff in a South African customer service organisation. Main findings: The findings indicate that TL had a significant positive relationship with organisational justice and employee commitment. Furthermore, the results indicate that TL moderated the relationship between organisational justice and employee commitment. Practical/managerial implications: The findings showed that TL could be vital as an effective leadership approach that can enhance justice perceptions and psychological attachment in the workplace. Contribution/value-add: This study contributes to the theoretical debate on TL, workplace fairness and psychological attachment by providing empirical support on the effect of TL on the relationship between justice and commitment perceptions. Over the last several decades, the attention of scholars in the field of leadership in higher education (HE) has been rapidly growing. A corpus of literature on leadership research has established how leadership styles affect institutional performance, organizational commitment, culture, employees' motivation, effectiveness, retention, and job satisfaction. Although a considerable amount of research on how leadership is related to employees' job satisfaction across literature exists, however, little research has studied the influence of academics' perceived leadership styles on their job satisfaction in African countries and particularly in Tanzania. Drawing from Bass and Avolio's (1994) Full Range Leadership Theory (FRLT) and Herzberg's two-factor theory, the present study examined the association between academics' perceived leadership styles employed by either their deans or head of departments on their job satisfaction as measured by the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ). The study was quantitatively driven with a cross-sectional survey design. A convenient sample of academics (N = 411) of which (Men: N = 310, Women: N = 101) from four Tanzanian universities responded to a Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ-5x short) and MSQ. A hierarchical multiple regression analysis was performed by using SPSS version 25 to detect significant predictors of academics' job satisfaction. Results demonstrated that both perceived transformational and transactional leadership styles statistically significantly related to academics' job satisfaction over and above their marital status, gender, age, academic rank, and institutional type. Organizational commitment is posited to be influenced by organizations' leadership styles. This is due to leadership provides guidance and influence the organizations' members to move towards attaining the collective objectives. Within the context of a high compliance organizations such as the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM, leadership style is expected to impose stronger influence on the members' work behaviors including the organizational commitment. Thus, this study aims to analyse the effect of transformational and transactional leadership styles on the organizational commitment of the lower rank police officers in the PDRM. The study employs quantitative research design which based on the survey technique. Questionnaires are distributed to 226 respondents among the lower rank police officers who are involved in the crime prevention and enforcement task in the Police Headquarters in one of the districts in Selangor. The study sample has been selected through the random sampling technique and consist of members from the Sub Inspector, Sargent Major, Sargent, Corporal, Lans Corporal and Constable ranks. The Multiple Regression analysis is used to test the influence between variables in the study framework. The study findings show a significant relationship between the transformation and transactional leadership style with the members' organizational commitment. As a result, transformational and transactional leadership styles are essential leadership styles that have influence on the lower rank police officers' organizational commitment. The study result further indicates transformational leadership styles has more positive influence and dominance in contributing to higher level of organizational commitment compared to the transactional leadership style. Integrating leadership and creativity theories, this study proposed and examined a model linking transformational leadership, perceived organizational support, affective organizational commitment, creativity, and performance. Structural equation modeling was thus performed using 362 employee–supervisor dyads from the international tourist hotels in Taiwan. The results indicated that both transformational leadership and perceived organizational support were significantly and positively related to employee affective organizational commitment, creativity, and performance, while affective organizational commitment had significantly positive influences on creativity and performance. Support was also found for the significant and positive mediating relationships between affective organizational commitment and the influences of both transformational leadership and perceived organizational support on creativity and performance. The COVID-19 pandemic that hit the world during 2019 has set an enormous challenge for the healthcare industry in B&H as well as for the entire world. The Healthcare industry was forced to find new strategies overnight to survive. This study aims to investigate the impact of transactional and transformational leadership styles on employees' intention to stay in mediating the role of affective commitment in healthcare organizations in B&H during the COVID-19. This research has high implications for decreasing turnover in workplaces and increasing organizational commitment by contributing high commitment to the employees that will be more motivated and perform better. The data of the study were analyzed using SPSS (v20) software packages and mediation tests were applied, using 178 sample data from private healthcare institutions in B&H. Background: Leaders influence and inspire others, develop strategies, organize the work and coordinate resources. Leadership style may affect nurses' performance directly and it may have positive or negative effects on nursing performance. We investigated the relationship between transformational leadership (TL), job satisfaction, and organizational commitment (OC) in Jordanian nurses. Methods: The study utilized a correlational, cross-sectional design. A sample of 253 registered nurses was recruited using a convenience sampling method from two government hospitals in Jordan. The Global Transformational Leadership (GTL) scale, job satisfaction survey, and Organizational Commitment Scale (OCS) were used to collect the data. Results: A total of 253 participants completed the study. The results showed that there was a significant and positive association between TL and job satisfaction, (r = 0.297, P = 0.000). There was a positive relationship between TL and OC (r = 0.200, P = 0.001). Conclusion: Considering the outcomes of the current study, it can be concluded that transformational leadership is one of the important leadership styles that has the potential to support nurses and improved nurses' job satisfaction and organizational commitment in Jordanian hospitals. Effectively implementing leadership is critical for organizational success. In consideration of this issue, this study investigated effective leadership in US- and Germany-based multinational companies (MNCs) operating in South Korea. Drawing on transformational leadership (TL) theory and leadership contingency theory, the study clarified the contextual dependency of TL effectiveness. A survey was administered to 258 employees of the target MNCs, during which the participants were asked to rate their supervisors' transformational leadership behaviors. The responses were empirically analyzed on the basis of the research framework. The findings showed that a leader's group-focused TL behaviors indirectly influenced organizational commitment and that this relationship was mediated by psychological empowerment in the US-based MNCs. Conversely, a leader's individual-focused TL behaviors demonstrated a pronounced effect on organizational commitment and that this association was also mediated by psychological empowerment in the Germany-based MNCs. The leadership behaviors that effectively empowered employees and increased their organizational commitment differed depending on the cultures prevalent in the organizations' countries of origin. Adopting the two-dimensional model of TL, this study confirmed the contextual dependency of TL behaviors and suggested the need to incorporate an organization's cultural context into predictions regarding the effects of certain leadership behaviors. The current study tries to align various model of mediation through leadership styles (Transformational, Transactional), organization culture types (innovative, supportive and bureaucratic) with employees commitment thorough job satisfaction among the employees of government libraries from Khyber pakhtoonKhwa Pakistan. The data was collected through adopted construct from finite sample and it was analyzed through (Barron and Kenny) meditational procedure. Findings depict that employees commitment with job depend upon the leadership styles and it is positively mediated by their satisfaction from job. In contrast from three different cultural set up only bureaucratic cultural attribute shows significant relationship with employee's commitment through meditational role of employee's job satisfaction. Interestingly both supportive and innovative culture did not indicate the direct relationship with employee's commitment, nor does it support the meditational role of employee's job satisfaction. The competitive nature of work now requires employees to provide excellent service and practice organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, the objectives of this study are to examine the relationship between transformational leadership, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior; test the influence of transformational leadership towards orgnizational commitment; test the influence of transformational leadership towards organizational citizenship behavior, test the influence of organizational commitment towards organizational citizenship behavior; and examine the role of organizational commitment as mediator in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. The study employs a survey design by distributing questionnaires to respondents. A total of 143 respondents from Ministry of Finance Malaysia were selected using random sampling. Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire was used to measure transformational leadership practices, Affective, Normative, and Continuance Commitment Scale was used to measure organizational commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale was used to measure organizational citizenship behavior. The data collected were analyzed using Pearson correlation and linear regression. The results showed that there were significant relationships between transformational leadership, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Transformational leadership predicted significantly towards organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Results also showed that organizational commitment mediated the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. The findings of this study emphasized the importance of transformational leadership among leaders and organizational commitment in order to increase organizational citizenship behavior among employees. Literature on leadership has provided sufficient evidence that leadership styles increase satisfaction, commitment, and retention of employees. However, there are few studies on the effects of leadership styles on volunteers. This study aims to investigate the possible influence of transformational leadership style on retention of volunteers. Our first hypothesis is that if a volunteer coordinator has a transformational leadership style, there is a higher intention to remain. Our second hypothesis is that this relationship is mediated by the variables of the three-stage model of volunteers' duration of service (satisfaction, organizational commitment, and role identity). To test these hypotheses, a sample of 417 volunteers (73% women), from 17 non-profit organizations, with an average age of 44 years, was surveyed. Joint results of a multiple regression analysis and path analysis supported the proposed model (CFI, GFI and NFI =.99, RMSEA <.06). Results indicate that when volunteer coordinators have a transformational style, volunteers have a higher intention to remain and that this relationship between transformational leadership style and intention to remain is partially mediated by satisfaction, organizational commitment, and role identity. The results seem to indicate that a useful strategy when running programs to increase the retention of volunteers is to train their coordinators in transformational leadership skills. Leadership style is one of the attributes that always garners researchers' attention. A leader's character is a significant factor that contributes to organizations' success of failure. This research focuses on spiritual leadership style that gains very little attention from researchers, transformational and transactional leadership styles that are practiced by political leaders and the styles' impacts towards organizational commitment and intention to stay among parties' appointed committee members. Spiritual leadership styles that have not get much attention from researchers are the main focus of this study. Specifically, this research also examines the roles of affective and normative commitment as the mediating factors to the relationship of spiritual, transformational and transactional leadership styles and the intention to stay with an institution. This research was embarked on UMNO Divisions' and PAS Zones' committee members in Selangor. Out of 1,290 distributed questionnaires, 357 were analyzed. Hypothesis testing was done via Sobel and multiple regression analyses. The results reveal that all styles have significant roles in enhancing the committee members' affective and normative commitment towards their organizations. The leadership style also has a positive relationship with the intention to stay. The mediating effect analysis discovers that normative commitment acts as a mediator to the relationship of spiritual, transformational and transactional leadership styles and the intention to stay. In this study, participation over the three agencies involved in the leading position in the bank of transformational leadership approach constitutes its impact on organizational commitment process has been analyzed research universe, the participation of three bank employees operating in Turkey. Data were collected by questionnaire method and SPSS 22 and AMOS 22 package programs were used for analysis. After the data were subjected to descriptive factor analysis, the results were examined with confirmatory factor analysis. After the confirmatory factor analysis showed that the goodness of fit values were within acceptable limits, the hypotheses were tested with the structural equation model. Orientation: Organisations are consistently changing and diversifying; therefore, researchers and practitioners are viewing diversity as an essential part of organisational behaviour literature and practice. Research purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate a simple mediation model, with the diversity climate as the proposed mediator, transformational leadership as the model antecedent and organisational commitment as the outcome. Motivation for the study: The South African diversity climate research is limited, including mediation investigations. Increased organisational diversification requires constant and relevant information with regard to diversity management. Research approach/design and method: A quantitative approach using a cross-sectional design collected 230 responses from a convenience sample. Transformational leadership was considered through six key behaviours associated with transformational leadership. Organisational commitment was considered as per the Psycones questionnaire and the organisational diversity climate was determined using a single-dimension diversity climate instrument. Statistical analysis included descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and a simple mediation model. Main findings: Correlation results revealed that both transformational leadership and a diversity climate demonstrated practical effects with organisational commitment. Results from a standardised regression coefficient confirmed that transformational leadership predicts the diversity climate significantly. Both transformational leadership and diversity climate predicted commitment. The simple mediation model revealed that the diversity climate can be considered a mediator in the relationship between transformational leadership and employee commitment. Practical/managerial implications: Organisations would benefit from leadership assessments for current and future employees, especially organisations that would like to prioritise a constructive diversity climate and employee commitment. The current study was conducted among employees in several organizations (N = 260). We investigated the relationships between the two leadership styles (the predictors) and several individual and organizational work outcomes among two age categories. For the young-to-adults age group, both transformational and transactional leadership associated positively with organizational justice; organizational justice associated positively with work commitment and work motivation; both transformational and transactional leadership associated positively with work motivation; and only transformational leadership associated positively with work commitment. Transactional leadership and work commitment were not significantly correlated. For the older group, transformational leadership associated positively with organizational justice; however, transactional leadership linked to it negatively. Organizational justice associated positively only with work commitment. Organizational justice and work motivation were not significantly related. Important implications are discussed. The purpose of this study was to develop a structural equation model of the causal relationships between organizational commitment, organizational justice and transformational leadership and organizational health among the local administrative organizations. The study found that the model was well-fitted to the empirical data. The results of the study indicated that organizational commitment had direct effects on organizational health; organizational justice had direct effects on organizational health and indirect effects on organizational health through organizational commitment. Transformational leadership had direct effects on organizational health and indirect influence on organizational health through organizational justice. Therefore, for local administrative organizations to have good organizational health, administrators must build justice perception among personnel in the organizations concerning decision-making, relationship, communication, and transformational leadership in terms of ideological influence, inspiration, intellectual stimulation, and individuality. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of transformational leadership (TL) on building trust and hence, its influence on the commitment level of the employees to achieve the desired work outcomes. It also examined whether transformational leaders were able to psychologically empower employees so as to increase their commitment level and thus reduce the employee turnover intentions (TIs) in the small- and medium-sized (SME) IT companies operating in Delhi NCR, India.Design/methodology/approach Data were collected from 420 employees (168 females and 252 males) of SME IT companies operational in Delhi NCR, India. They responded to questions about their leader’s TL and their own psychological empowerment (PE), commitment and trust.Findings The findings of the study show that transformational leaders were able to create a higher level of PE and trust amongst their employees. Further, it was also found that this led to an increase in their commitment level and hence, a decrease in their TI. The findings of the study also suggest that trust, commitment and PE act as mediators.Research limitations/implications Limited sample size is a possible limitation of the study. One more limitation of the study is the data collection method, i.e. through survey. It was self-reported, taking only the perspective of the employees; it may not be a completely accurate response.Practical implications With TL, leaders can psychologically empower followers to do things in a better way and can develop trust in employees resulting in high commitment; highly committed employees in turn reduce the TIs. If followers do not have faith in their own capability, it may not be possible for them to complete their job effectively.Originality/value This study adds to the existing literature; it clarifies the process by which transformational leaders enhance followers’ meaning in life through PE and develop trust resulting in high commitment. Background: The current challenges facing healthcare systems, in relation to the shortage of health professionals, necessitates mangers and leaders to learn from different leadership styles and staff empowerment strategies, so as to create a work environment that encourages nursing staff commitment to patients and their organization. This study intends to measure the effects of nurses' overall perception of the leadership style of their managers, and psychological empowerment on their organizational commitment in acute care units, in National Guard Health Affairs, Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia. Methods: This was a cross-sectional survey, where the data was obtained from nurses at King Abdulaziz Medical City. Hard copy questionnaires were distributed to 350 randomly selected nurses. Three hundred and thirty two (332) were completed, representing a response rate of 95 %. Three validated survey instruments were used to obtain the data: (1) The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ), formulated by Bass and Avolio (1997), (2) The Psychological Empowerment Scale developed by Spreitzer (1995) and (3) The Three-Component Model of Employee Commitment developed by Meyer and Allen (1997). A theoretical model that conceptually links leadership, empowerment, and organizational commitment was used. The SPSS program version 19 was employed to perform descriptive and inferential statistics including correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: Overall most nurses perceived their immediate nursing managers as not displaying the ideal level of transformational leadership (TFL) behaviors. Nurses' commitment appeared to be negatively correlated with TFL style and perceived psychological empowerment. However, commitment was positively correlated with the Transactional Leadership (TAL) style. Analysis, also, showed that commitment is significantly associated with the nurse's nationality by region: North American (P = 0.001) and Arab (p = 0.027). The other important predictors of commitment include TAL (P = 0.027), Laissez-faire Leadership (LFL (P = 0.012), and autonomy (P = 0.016). The linear combination of these predictors explained 20 % of the variability of the nurses' commitment. Conclusion: The study findings suggest that leadership styles and employee empowerment could play an instrumental role in promoting organizational commitment of nurses working in acute health care settings, at least in the Saudi Arabian context. This paper examines the role of student perceptions of the instructor's and community partner's leadership style on student outcomes of service-learning projects. Extant literature has not examined sufficiently the role of the educator's leadership in service-learning projects and has not considered the effects of the two-source leadership from the instructor and the community client on student outcomes. Student perceptions of the transformational leader behaviors were found to be associated with student perceptions of course relevancy, intention to become involved with community affairs and satisfaction with service-learning. The link between the students' perceptions of the instructor's transformational leadership and satisfaction with servicelearning are mediated by the perceived long-term consequences of service-learning. The practical implications of these findings suggest that the dual leadership of the instructor and the community partner is a factor that significantly influences student perceptions of service-learning outcomes. The main goal of this study is to analyze how organizational commitment has a mediating effect on the relation between transformational leadership and organizational trust. Therefore we developed an organization analysis based on a survey that was used to collect primary data from a sample of 58 employees. We obtained a 71% response rate and these data were analyzed using quantitative methodological techniques and linear regression. The research was conducted at the Serralves Foundation (Porto, Portugal) to empirically test the proposed research model and its hypotheses. The empirical results confirm that transformational leadership positively enhances organizational trust. However, transformational leadership and organizational trust are not significantly influenced by organizational commitment, thus not having a mediating effect on this relationship. Such results assume particular relevance because they become a basis for comparative studies in similar organizations. This study brings some theoretical contributions to the literature by analyzing the mediating effect of organizational commitment on the relation between transformational leadership and organizational trust in cultural organizations and has also some practical management implications, as it draws attention to the importance of a set of practices, job satisfaction oriented, which can effectively lead to organizational commitment intervention in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational trust. The purpose of this study is to reveal the effects of different leadership styles on job satisfaction and organization commitment which are the most important and positive attitudes towards job and organization. For this purpose, a sample from medical staff was preferred in this field research due to the critical level of the sector and its employee quantity reached to. Analysis of there search conducted by survey method on 1785 medical staff who worked at private and government hospitals in Istanbul was performed through Structural Equation Modeling. Analyses results showed that there is a statistically significant effect of instrumental and transactional leadership on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, respectively. Transformational leadership does not have a significant impact on the positive attitude toward job and organization. Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate, within a non-western context, the impact of the psychological contract, relational psychological contract (RPC) and transactional psychological contract (TPC), on organizational commitment (OC) as mediated by transformational leadership (TL). In addition, the paper also explores contractual status: does the theory fit, whether one is employed on a full or part time basis. Design/methodology/approach – The empirical part of the article is based on self-administrated questionnaires completed by 433 respondents from across a range of service industries in the UAE. Findings – The results indicate that both RPC and TPC are positively related to TL. The study did not identify any meaningful relationship between TL and OC. The study also suggests that TL has, at best, only a partial mediating role in relation to the RPC, TPC, and OC. As respondents' contractual status was employed as a control moderator, the paper can also report that part versus full time employment does not influence the outcome regarding the aforementioned relationships. Research limitations/implications – The findings suggest that practitioners and academics alike should note that the nature of the psychological contract employed will impact commitment and retention. Also, consistency of approach is very important when one is searching for sustainable employee commitment. The principle limitations associated with this research relate to the self reporting nature of the study: it both negates meaningful triangulation and qualitative interrogation of the results. Further, the industry level, services, and investigation precludes inter industry comparison, and the context, the UAE, may limit the generalizability of the findings.
