Abstract
The article discusses Ernest Lawrence was an American scientist and 1939 recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physics for his invention of the cyclotron, Lawrence held many different positions during the Manhattan Project and devoted himself to basic scientific research at the Radiation Laboratory.
