Note: (1) Both “Bergland” and “Cajon” are not precise map localities which we can find in Peru. “Bergland” (“Highlands”, in German) is still used in German touristic texts to refer to the Cuzco area. (2) Papavero (1973: 293 – 295) describes the trips of two Garlepp brothers at the end of the 1800’s and beginning of the 1900’s, Gustav (who collected in Peru) and Otto (who joined his brother in a trip to Bolivia and Colombia), but says nothing about S.V. as it is in Szymczakowski description [and checked against the type labels by Gnaspini & Peck, 2019]—actually, “S. V.” appears in many other specimens in ZMHB, and was used just to abbreviate the German “Sammler, Verkäufer” (“collector, seller”), not meaning to be initials of the collector’s name (Jan Růžička, 2019, personal comm; Bernd Jaeger, 2020, personal comm.).
