Krüppel‐like factor 7 is a transcriptional activator and acts as an oncogene in human cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Tryptophan metabolism is important for HCC cell proliferation, metastasis, and invasion. It is unclear whether KLF7 could regulate Trp metabolism in HCC. In this study, we found that Trp metabolism was suppressed in HCC cells with KLF7 knockdown. The mRNA and protein levels of SLC1A5, SLC7A5, and TPH1, as well as the content of Trp and serotonin, were reduced after KLF7 knockdown, and were potentiated following KLF7 overexpression. Increasing the content of serotonin could restore the malignancy of tumour cells in vitro and tumour growth in vivo. Conversely, decreasing the content of serotonin suppressed HCC cell proliferation. The binding activity of KLF7 was on the promoter of SLC1A5, and KLF7 positively regulated the expression of SLC1A5. KLF7 contributed to the proliferation and migration of HCC cells by up‐regulation of SLC1A5. Collectively, KLF7 promotes the progression of HCC through regulating Trp metabolism. In this article, a wideband filtering power divider (FPD) is proposed based on a new design scheme originating from the microstrip/slotline broadside‐coupled structure. It is simply composed of one microstrip T‐junction and two transmission lines on the top layer, and a pair of U‐shape slotline resonators as well as one isolation resistor‐loaded slotline stub with a circular slot terminal in the ground plane. The presented FPD stands out by much wider bandwidth, improved performance, and simple design layout. For verification, one prototype FPD is designed and fabricated with a center frequency of 4.0 GHz and a fractional bandwidth of 77.1%. Simulated results coincide well with the measured ones. Results indicate that the new wideband FPD exhibits not only a simple layout without additional loading elements, but also nice port‐to‐port isolation over a whole wide frequency band range, good return losses, and 20‐dB harmonic suppression up to (2.5 f0). This paper proposes a one‐dimensional convolutional autoencoders (1D‐CAE) surrogate‐based electromagnetic (EM) optimization technique exploiting particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm for microwave filter design. The 1D‐CAE is a flexible neural network structure that can be used as surrogate model to handle forward modeling problems as well as solving inverse problems, such as extracting the coupling matrix from S‐parameters. In this paper, the 1D‐CAE is proposed to handle forward modeling problem. On the one hand, the 1D‐CAE model is adopted to as the surrogate model to the EM simulation solver to speed up the PSO algorithm optimization process. On the other hand, the 1D‐CAE model can update the data set and network parameters online to continuously improve the prediction accuracy of the surrogate model during the PSO algorithm iterations. Compared with other neural network structures, the 1D‐CAE model proposed in this paper requires less data and converges faster in the same test environment. To demonstrate the validity of the proposed method, it was used to design a sixth‐order and an eighth‐order cross‐coupled filter. The design results shown that the proposed method is valid. In this letter, a triple‐band filtering power divider (FPD) is proposed for passive circuit implementation with a good isolation. The proposed triple‐band FPD is composed of coupled microstrip lines by applying a comprehensive design method. Based on the design method and developed topology, the employed coupled microstrip resonators, the input/output feedlines as well as isolated resistor are properly arranged to achieve a desired triple‐band filtering and isolation response. To validate our design concept and method, a triple‐band FPD operating at 2.3–2.33, 2.39–2.42, and 2.5–2.53 GHz is implemented with good return loss and isolation. In this paper, analysis and design of a new triple‐band filtering power divider (FPD) with sharp selectivity is presented. Based on the provided analytical equations and synthesis design, the proposal reveals its powerful capacity in design of a triple‐band FPD with any prespecified quasi‐elliptic responses and high isolation and matching, which are very promising for multi‐band modern wireless communications systems. To verify the design method, a triple‐band microstrip FPD prototypes are designed, fabricated, and measured for demonstration. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of diet type (normal or low Ca and P diets) and 25(OH)D3 supplementation (with or with not 2000 IU/kg 25(OH)D3) during late gestation on the serum biochemistry and reproductive performance of aged sows and newborn piglets. A total of 40 sows, which are at their 7th parity, were divided into four groups: control group (standard diet), low Ca group, 25(OH)D3 group and low Ca plus 25(OH)D3 group respectively (10 in each group). The blood of sows on day 100 and 114 of gestation and newborn piglets was collected for serum biochemical analyses. Results showed that the reproductive performance of sows was not influenced by diet type or 25(OH)D3 supplementation (p > 0.05). And the addition of 25(OH)D3 to diet low Ca group caused that the content of serum TG in sows on day 100 of gestation was not different from that of the control group (p > 0.05). The addition of 25(OH)D3 significantly decreases the content of serum TG in sows on day 114 of gestation (p < 0.05). The addition of 25(OH)D3 significantly increased the content of serum UREA and CREA in newborn piglets (p < 0.05). Overall, feeding 2000 IU/kg 25(OH)D3 to aged sows at late gestation had no effects on reproductive performance, but partly contributed to keeping serum TG balance in sows and may indicate increased pressure on kidneys in newborn piglets. This study presents a new reconfigurable quasi‐elliptic filtering power divider (FPD) with tunable centre frequency (CF) and bandwidth (BW) by exploring singly one varactor‐loaded triple‐mode resonator. Avoiding the need for the variable couplings of the inter‐resonant nodes and external input/output, the reconfigurability of the proposed FPD is achieved by only tuning the resonant nodes of the triple‐mode resonator. Compared to the other reported ones, the proposed FPD not only exhibits better performance, but also compact and concise topology with the reduced number of resonators and loaded varactors. For demonstration, a prototype of tunable FPD is implemented following the given design procedure. Measured results coincide well with simulated ones, exhibiting that tunable CF (1.5–1.91 GHz), 1‐dB BW (80–300 MHz) with better in‐band isolation (>18 dB). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This Letter presents a miniaturised wide tuning-range four-way filtering power divider (FPD). It is mainly developed by integrating a co-shared varactor-loaded quasi-lumped-element dual-mode resonator and an isolation resistor, achieving a wide tuning power division ratio (PDR) and centre frequency (CF) simultaneously. The presented tunable four-way FPD stands out from those in the literature, by both its improved performance (wider tuning range for PDR and CF with nice isolation and matching) and ultra-compact design layout. Pestalofones I - K ( 1- 3), three new dimeric meroterpenoids with 2-(7-benzoyl-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-2-yl)-1-phenylethan-1-one (in 1) and 2-(7-benzoyl-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-2-yl)-1-(3,8-dioxatricyclo[5.1.0.02,4]oct-4-yl)ethan-1-one (in 2 and 3) skeletons, were isolated from the solid cultures of the plant endophytic fungus Pestalotiopsis fici. The structures of 1- 3 were elucidated by NMR experiments. Compound 1 was found to be present as a racemic mixture. The absolute configurations of 2 and 3 were deduced by analogy to the previously isolated metabolites pestalofones G and H ( 4 and 5) from the same fungus. Biogenetically, compounds 1- 3 are derived from the same precursors (co-isolated compounds 9 and 10) as the previously isolated compounds 4- 8. Compounds 2 and 3 showed weak cytotoxic activities against four human tumor cell lines T24, HeLa, A549, and MCF-7. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
